Hi guys. Another chapter here for you. (I'm on a roll right now). I want to thank everyone who voted on the poll. The winner was Batman. Which shouldn't have surprised me but did. Anyway lets get on with this.

.
Bruce and Dick were silent as the batwing soared to its destination. Neither had anything substantial to say. How could they? This whole situation was different to all the other fights they previously had. In another timeline they had failed. And now they were expected to do something their previous selves failed to accomplish. It wasn't an ideal situation. Eventually though, the silence was broken by a call from their loyal butler.

"Alfred, what do you have?" Bruce asked, answering the message.

"Nothing of note, I'm afraid. Only news reports on the red ribbon armies mysterious defeat. However nothing that would clue us in on Dr Gero's location. In the meantime, Krillin and Yamcha are on their way to the others. They were in a conflict with another android." Alfred informed both heroes, who looked on in shock.

"That's impossible. That time traveller said there were only two. We faced one, plus the android that fought Flash and Green Lantern." Dick noted.

"When he was wrong about the date, I'd assumed it was due to poor memory. However there's no way he'd not know the number of androids that attacked." Bruce muttered. "Which means that the timeline has changed." Bruce didn't know if this was due to the boy, or by Barry. However he was in no doubt of the consequences.

"Also there's a matter I wish to discuss... privately." Alfred quietly said. Dick looked upset as Batman lifted a soundproof shutter.

"What is it?"

"The android that fought in Metropolis used Kryptonite." Bruce was both surprised and concerned by this.

"Is Clark all right?"

"He took a bit of damage and needs time to heal by the sun."

"And the Kryptonite? How did Gero get his hands on it?"

"Unknown I'm afraid. However it wasn't from us. Which is what I wanted to speak to you about." Bruce listened closely. "I think it would be best to abort Project Deicide." The Dark Knight sighed, not wanting to have this conversation.

"Alfred we've had this conversation. Project Deicide is imperative."

"Creating plans to kill your teammates is not imperative! I thought after that note from your father you decide to trust them more?" Bruce winced under pressure from his oldest friend. That note was still a sore subject.

"I do trust them. However what would happen if the entire league was ever brainwashed by someone?"

"The chances of that..."

"If it's more than zero then we have to assume it will happen." Alfred sighed, disappointed by his boss.

"Have you ever considered what might happen if someone were to gain access to these plans? Not to mention all the equipment you've gathered!"

"The chances..."

"If it's more than zero then we have to assume it will happen!" The Caped Crusader scowled. He hated it when Alfred used his own arguments against him. Alfred meanwhile was tired of this conversation. "If you aren't going to change your mind. Then at least tell the league of these plans." Bruce though had refused to give in.

"You know as well as I do. These plans only work when the league is unprepared for an attack. Informing them would only proceed to make the plans unusable. Listen Alfred, I don't have a choice in the matter."

"I think you do have a choice Master Bruce. And I'm asking you to consider them all. If they find out you have these plans, and you're not the one to tell them. It won't matter if you trust them. They will never trust you." Alfred disconnected the call. Leaving the hero to wonder in his own thoughts. Project Deicide was necessary, but the longer it went on. The more he considered one thing. Was it right?

.

Vegeta and Arthur found themselves flying over the water. The ocean was very rough. Waves crashing in all directions. The two had increased their height to avoid this. Vegeta was still unhappy about his job as transportation, though he kept quiet. Arthur meanwhile was trying to make small talk.

"I have to applaud a good fight when I see one. You fought valiantly, Vegeta." Arthur complimented the Saiyan. Though he didn't exactly get the response he wanted.

"Of course I fought valiantly. I am now the strongest mortal in the known universe." Vegeta confidently announced. If the king of Atlantis could facepalm at that point, he would have done.

"I can't even give you a compliment without that ego of yours inflating." Vegeta wanted to get angry. Yet he simply scoffed at that insult.

"Whatever, I don't need compliments from the likes of you. I've proven I'm stronger than Kakarot." In truth Vegeta wouldn't be satisfied until he had bested Kakarot in one on one combat.

"That reminds me. Why do you hate Goku so much? I mean I get he beat you." Vegeta glared at his supposed ally. "End of the day though it's simply one fight." The Saiyan prince wanted to drop Arthur after that comment. The anger was almost uncontrollable.

"One fight? I... was destined to be a king. I was destined to rule over planet Vegeta! Yet my purpose in life was taken from me. The only thing left in life is to become the strongest. Yet I had to endure losing to Kakarot."

"And that is why you would have made a poor king." The bluntness of Arthur's words had caught Vegeta off guard. Once he had gotten over that, his anger reached it's boiling point.

"What did you just say?"

"Your obsessed with how strong you are! The glory of a kings rule isn't measured by his strength."

"Of course it is! A king must rule with an iron fist. His loyal subjects work so he doesn't have to." Arthur shook his head, almost in disgust.

"Im sorry but every word of that is wrong. Don't believe me? Just look at Frieza. He ruled with your so called iron fist. He slaughtered anyone who was even a mild threat to his rule. Eventually those same loyal subjects rose up a killed him." Vegeta grunted, not willing to admit Arthur had a point. "I'm honestly not expecting you to heed my words. However there are two things I want you to listen to. First of all, a king must always serve his people before himself. And secondly, A king must ensure any heirs learn from his mistakes." Vegeta scoffed at these remarks.

"Whatever. Your army must be weak willed if you are their leader." Arthur simply laughed.

"I hope one day you remember these words Vegeta."

"Don't hold your breath."

.

Batman and Robin jumped from the batwing to right outside Gero's home. Where they were greeted by a worn out Flash. The Scarlet Speedster grabbed on the both his kneecaps, out of breath.

"Took you... long enough." Even with Barry's super healing, he was in a lot of pain. Barry was about to open the door, until the hero of Gotham City quickly grabbed his wrist.

"Hold it." Bruce ordered him. He scanned the house for any traps. Once completed he used a batting to carve a hole in the door. The wood was quite sturdy, but Bruce persevered. Eventually making the hole he needed. On the other side was several tonnes of TNT. Wired to explode if the door was opened. Bruce simply used the same beatarang to cut the wire. Now free to enter, the Dark Knight led his team into Gero's home. The main room was a mess. Multiple papers were scattered all over the floor. Plates were left everywhere, with half eaten food still on them. Robin almost puked on the stained carpet.

"Doesn't this guy know anything about personal hygiene?" He quipped, as the three continued to look around. Bruce walked over to the computer. While Barry and Dick scanned all the paperwork. Eventually the Scarlet Speedster found the jackpot.

"Hey guys. It says here that Gero bought himself an underground bunker twenty five miles north of Central City. I bet that's where he's hiding out!" Barry theorised.

"Good work. Call Cyborg and give him the location." Bruce instructed him.

"What about us? Shouldn't we help?"

"We're going to continue learning all we can about these androids. We'll likely find the plans for that android you let get away." Even though he hated the way Bruce worded that. He did have a point. If they could find a weakness in the androids that would save a lot of time. Bruce meanwhile turned back to the screen. Sticking a USB drive in the computer. The Dark Knight proceeded to contact the batcave. "Alfred I need the batcomputer to hack into Gero's personal data."

"Of course sir. This computer seems have many walls installed. Gero seems to have taken a great many precautions to protect his data. However it's nothing the batcomputer can't handle. However I should warn you it will take a fair bit of time." Alfred explained.

"How long?"

"A couple of hours at least."

"Just do what you can." Bruce hung up and joined the others in their quest through the paperwork. Soon every little secret that Gero ever hid would be theirs.

.

Tien was glad to see that Krillin and Yamcha were alright. The two had joined them after their battle with Metallo. The three eyed fighter was impressed that they both managed to win without much aid from the Kryptonian. Still it was concerning that all these androids were popping up like flies. Their three way conversation however was interrupted when they all sensed a huge power heading towards them. The three sighed when they recognised who it was.

"Great and now Vegeta's here." Yamcha muttered under his breath. The trio looked up to see the prince fly towards them. None of them wanted to see Vegeta. They all believed him to be an arrogant fool. Although they were at least happy to see that Arthur was with him. The two landed next to the rest.

"Are you alright?" Tien asked, though mainly to Arthur.

"We're fine. Had a close battle with an android. Another one got away, called himself Gero." Arthur explained, this surprised the trio.

"Did you just say Gero?" Krillin inquired.

"Yeah. Why?"

"That's the name of the Doctor who created the androids. Are you saying he is one of the androids?"

"I mean if he's human then technically he would be a Cyborg. But yes." Krillin gave his friends a concerned look.

"So do we have a way of tracking him?"

"We don't have to." Victor stated as he walked towards the team. "Flash just sent me coordinates to Gero's underground base. It's looks like that's the only place left for him to hide."

"Well then what are you idiots waiting for? Let's go after him!" Vegeta yelled.

"Hold up. We have no idea what we're walking into. For all we know it could be a trap."

"There isn't any trap on this god forsaken rock that could stop me!"

"I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I agree with Vegeta." Yamcha said, surprising everyone. Even if he had another android to help him it's still two against six. I think we can handle it."

"Well either way I think it'd be a good idea to first, find this place." Tien added. "Cyborg, can you take us to it's location?"

"Yeah. Everyone follow me." The machine added. The whole team took to the sky. With Yamcha carrying the king of Atlantis. Victor didn't like this at all. Gero was a genius. Being able to create these monsters meant he had to be. So he must have had some sort of contingency plans. And if his theory was correct. They were all about to head straight into Gero's trap.

.

Dr Gero rushed into his lab. His plan in complete tatters. He kept wondering how any of this could have happened? Every single detail was intensively examined. However as the screens showed him. Only thirteen remained, and it wasn't responding. Three pods stood before him. Each machines blank expression staring back at him. Sixteen wasn't ready. Gero doubted he would ever truly be ready. That left Seventeen and Eighteen. They were the most rebellious out of all his creations. Often disobeying him at every turn. Gero wished he could wait for Thirteen to finally respond. However that unfortunately wasn't going to happen. A large bang came from the door. Gero turned around in fear. They had found him! And with no other options he had to take a chance. At least he had their shut down remote. Gero took a deep breath as he opened Seventeen's pod. The machine exited slowly, noticing the switch in the man's hand.

"Hello Dr Gero, how are you today?" He said in a monotone voice. It wasn't robotic however it wasn't quite human either. Gero didn't care however. Relief swept over him as he had finally got them to obey.

"You're asking me how my day is?" The doctor expression read surprised. "Well it seems your little rebellious phase is over." Gero noted.

"May I ask, are you planning to wake my sister today?"

"Indeed, I require both of your assistance." The Doctor then opened Eighteen's pod. The blonde haired android stepped out. Looked over to her brother who gave a slight nod. Knowing what this meant Eighteen looked at Gero and smiled.

"Hello Doctor Gero, I hope you are well?" Eighteen inquired.

"I don't think I've ever heard you talk with any semblance of manner before. My personality reprogramming seems to have succeeded." Gero explained. The scientist turned to the labs entrance. While putting the switch in his pocket. The androids looked to one another, nodding. "I have a task for you both. The Justice League is at our doorstep. I need you both to eliminate them."

"Oh don't worry. We'll eliminate our true enemy." Seventeen said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Outside Victor was attempting to use a laser to cut a hole in the door. Krillin and Yamcha had attempted to punch through it. Though that only proceeded to hurt their hands. The former football player was taking it easy. Yet before he could finish, an impatient Vegeta pushed him aside.

"Enough of this!" The prince ranted as he readied himself to blast the door into pieces.

"Wait stop!" The gang looked up to see Trunks and Damian arrive. They landed down hard, not wasting any time. "You can't go in without Goku!"

"I don't take orders from some teenage punk!"

"If you go in there, you'll die!"

"You of all people should know the power of a Super Saiyan. Now step aside, before I mistake you for an android." The royal was prepared to make good on that threat. Trunks though had enough of his fathers attitude.

"Would you listen to your son for just one second!" Trunks stopped as he realised what secret was just revealed. Nobody said anything, they were in too much shock.

"Well that could have gone better." Damian joked, attempting to lighten the mood. Vegeta's gaze failed to leave his son's.

"Are you?" He mumbled. Trunks took a deep breath. This wasn't how the time traveller wanted his first conversation with his father to go. However, somewhat ironically, he couldn't change what had just transpired.

"Yeah... dad." Vegeta hand trembled slightly. However that soon turned to anger. Remembering what his main objective was.

"Just because you have my blood doesn't mean you're able to command me. I am here to destroy these androids. And I will do that without the help of anyone. Especially not that fool Kakarot... or you!" Trunks couldn't believe this. Gohan had told him Vegeta didn't play well with others. However this was not what he was expecting. Trunks didn't even put a fight when the elder Saiyan pushed him out of the way.

Vegeta blasted the door open. Causing the hinges the fly off. Everyone turned and took up a fighting position. The smoke from Vegeta's blast making it impossible to see beyond a few feet. The team increased their guard as they heard a scream from inside. Then something rolled slowly towards them. Krillin screamed as he realised it was a human head. More specifically, it belong to Dr Gero. His mouth was open, eyes were blank. The whole gang took a step back. Everyone except Vegeta who relished having an opponent like this. Then from out of the smoke a Ki blast finished off the mad scientist. The league looked up. And from out of the smoke, the two androids appeared. They were both smiling as their eyes made contact with the heroes. Seventeen was the first to speak up.

"Hello there."

.

So Seventeen and Eighteen finally make their appearance. I love both of these characters. They were both probably the most underdeveloped characters in the show. Especially considering they probably have the most heartbreaking backstories. So I'm so exited for where this goes.

1: Yes this is Damian Wayne Son of Batman and Talia Al Ghul.

2: It's a great idea. But if you add that you'd really have to bring Wheelo in somehow. And I don't have anywhere to put him.

MeteorElDrago: Thank You

S00026776: I would love that. My dream is to create my own comic someday. Though I don't believe i'm good enough. At least not enough to make a living out of it.
