Hi guys welcome to the another chapter. This chapter took a good while, but I hope its worth it.

.

The whole gang were on their way to Kame house. Cyborg carried Damian, while Tien did the same for Arthur. The mood had taken a drastic downward spiral since Vegeta and Eighteen battled. Four years they had all dedicated to beating these androids. And for all their training, hard work and spilt blood. They had absolutely nothing to show for it. Eighteen had decimated them. Even with a Super Saiyan on their side. Damian noticed all their depressed looks.

"You are all definitely not what I expected." The swordsman said. Everyone looked at him. Most had a look of sympathy. Though Tien and Arthur took a little offence.

"And what did you expect?" Tien coldly replied.

"Look don't take this the wrong way. Back in my time you guys are legends. I mean, most of the official records were destroyed. And I was only a baby when the androids first attacked. But everyone who was alive back then always speak about you guys with the highest of regards. You guys saved so many people and never asked for anything in return. You were like gods to them! Seeing you guys here now though? You're..."

"Human?" Arthur interrupted. "Listen kid. Underneath the Ki blasts, super speed and magical tridents. We're just regular people. We eat and drink just like everyone else. Not to mention we have our own hobbies."

"Before my accident I used to play football." Cyborg stated, surprising the grandson of Ra's Al Ghul. "Krillin over here is a fan of musical theatre." Damian laughed as Krillin felt hugely embarrassed.

"Oh come on, cant at least one person see me as a tough guy?" The bald monk pleaded.

"Maybe if you were taller than four foot". Yamcha joked, earning a scowl from his friend. "Too good an opportunity. Love you Krillin, but you ain't exactly what I'd call a tough guy."

"Oh and you are? Didn't you try and cheat your way into the MLB?"

"Hey. At no point did I cheat!"

"You have superpowers!"

"It technically isn't against the rules to have super strength and speed."

"Just morally wrong." This time it was Gohan who spoke up.

"Did you learn that in one of your nine million books?" Yamcha attacked the young boy.

"Nothing wrong with a little bit of reading. It can help you learn new languages. Trains your mind. And opens you up to brand new stories and worlds. Some of the greatest stories ever told have been from books. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Great Gatsby and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland to name a few."

"Wait that was a book?" Everyone chuckled at Yamcha's response.

"Only you could be that stupid." Tien quipped at the expense of the baseball player. "You should take up reading."

"Oh like you took up drawing." Everyone looked at Tien with a puzzled looks on their faces. The three eyed fighter seemed like the last person who would take up a hobby like that.

"Drawing relieves stress from your body and mind. Not to mention it improves hand eye coordination. All these are necessary in combat. Unlike a certain irritating man, I don't just go around blowing stuff up." Yamcha, Arthur and Victor all chuckled at that comment.

"What about you Arthur?" Cyborg asked the Atlantean.

"Between running a country and joining the league I don't have much time for hobbies." He answered. "Though when me and Mera enter the bedroom..."

"Woah!" Every other adult instantly cut him off.

"Remember we have two minors with us." Krillin scolded the king. Gohan looked over confused. That was until he stopped in mid flight. The young boy looked over to where he sensed a huge power level. Soon after all the other Ki users noticed it to.

"What's wrong?" Damian asked the group.

"There's a power level over there. But it's weird. It's like me, Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Frieza and everyone else is fighting." Yamcha said, sounding a little terrified.

"Wait I can sense Piccolo too." Gohan shouted, deeply concerned for one of his mentors. "I'm gonna help him!"

"Wait, Gohan!" Krillin attempted to stop the young boy, with no success. "I'm going after him! You guys head to Kame house!" Krillin chased after his best friends son. Krillin knew Goku was in bad shape right now. And if something happened to Gohan. He'd never be able to look his friend in the eye again.

.

Hal stood between a defeated Piccolo and what seemed to be a giant bug? In truth Hal had no idea what it was. All he knew was that it beat Piccolo. And it looked hungry for action.

"Wow I have travelled the universe with this ring. I've met countless alien races. Some of them made me wanna puke. But you have got to be the ugliest looking thing I have ever seen." Hal mocked the creature.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Cell snarled back. Behind the facade it was fuming.

"Well if you wanna look like the elephant man mixed with an insect." Hal's ring lit up as he created two boxing gloves on his hands. "I could always mess up your face even more."

"What are you doing taunting it?" Piccolo snapped at the space cop, standing up.

"Just making friendly conversation." Hal smugly replied. "Though friendly isn't exactly easy when your looking at Frankenstein's monster. He was also very much imperfect." This was the turning point for Gero's android.

"That's it!" Cell screeched as he charged in. Hal put up a shield to block from all attacks. Piccolo was about to berate the lantern, that was until he noticed Cell. The android was in a rage.

"He's just throwing his fists into your barrier. It's got no plan or strategy whatsoever." Piccolo noted.

"My plan worked like a treat." Hal smirked. Piccolo stared at him in disbelief.

"I don't understand, how'd you know it was going be like this?"

"Simple. I overheard it talking about achieving perfection. It made me think that it doesn't yet view itself in a positive manner. Just a few simple insults, and we have a strategy."

"That's actually quite smart. You're not as dumb as you look." Hal sighed at the Namekian's passive insult.

"Thank you so much." Hal's voice oozed with sarcasm.

"Wait a second! If you overheard him then why didn't you help during our fight?" Piccolo sounded very bitter.

"I was waiting for it to get tired, before swooping in and saving your backside."

"Thank you so much." This time it Piccolo was the one to resonate with sarcasm. Cell flew backwards as he prepared for a bigger attack. Hal took down his shield. Him and Piccolo readied themselves for a fight.

"I'm sure you know this one Piccolo." Cell taunted the green alien. His voice still full of rage. The monster put his right index and middle fingers on his forehead. The two radiated electricity out of them. Piccolo eyes widened as he recognised the stance it was using.

"No... it's using the Special Beam Cannon!" Piccolo yelled out loud. Making the Green Lantern chuckle.

"Hang on, did you seriously name your attack, Special Beam Cannon?" He questioned the Namekian, though only barely due to all the laughter. "Well I now owe Barry five dollars."

"Oh like you could do better!"

"Oh yeah? Demon's rage, Devil's drill and Hellzone Grenade. All much better names. Piccolo stood still and chocked a little. He didn't want to admit that those names were actually good.

"Not impressive."

"Alright how about..." Both fighters failed to realise that their enemy was just unleashing it's attack.

"Makankosappo!" Cell screamed as the blast headed straight towards them.

"Actually that's not so bad." Hal joked. Thankfully Piccolo managed to deflect it's attack. Cell snarled as his Ki blast did nothing to his enemies. And it only got worse as Gohan and Krillin joined the two. Both were shocked as they spotted the android.

"Ew, what the hell is that thing?" The dwarf said in disgust. Cell knew he was in trouble. He might have stood a chance against two of them. But four was a step too far. The only choice it had now was to retreat.

"Sorry fellas, but three is the magic number." Cell jumped into the sky, covering his face with both hands. "Solar flare!" A huge white light blinded the four heroes. All four heroes took a step back, the pain was unbearable. Once their eyes cleared, the four scowled at their surroundings. They had let Cell get away from them.

.

Diana sat in her chambers. The mattress she slept on was softer than a cloud. Still despite that, she uncomfortably sat down. Hippolyta was coming to take her back to Themyscira. On one hand, it had been so long since she saw her sisters. She had so much to tell them. On the other hand, part of her didn't want to go back. She had abandoned her home to embark on a fruitless crusade. How could she look any of her sisters in the eye? Still, the more she thought about it. The more she came to a realisation. She had abandoned Themyscira, Earth was a lost cause and Olympus rejected her. She didn't belong anywhere. Three knocks soon rang out through the room. Diana looked up to see Kami standing in the doorway. Both smiled as the Amazon stood up and embraced Earth's guardian.

"It's good to see you again." Kami softly whispered.

"Likewise." Diana responded as the two sat down. "So what brings you to Olympus?"

"I'm officially ending my tenure as Earth's protector." Diana gasped as she heard this.

"Are you dying?" Kami chuckled.

"No... of course not. A new threat has emerged. And soon Piccolo and I will fuse back into one being. After that, I'm afraid I will no longer exist." Diana looked down, heartbroken. Kami though smiled throughout this conversation. "Enough about this old man. How are you finding Olympus?"

"It's..."

"Not what you expected." Diana sheepishly nodded. "That is to be expected. I've known the Olympians for a very long time. And they are, without a doubt. A huge pain in my ass."

"They're still the gods of Olympus."

"And how many times have you told yourself that?" Diana sheepishly looked downwards. "Seeing you rot away here... it's pitiful. There was a hint of disappointment from Kami's voice, which the amazon picked up on. "I once told you that people would look to the sky in wonder. Instead you've locked yourself in a cage."

"What would you have me do? I can't go back to man's world. There is an evil, festering in all people. It almost consumed me multiple times." In those few words Kami finally understood.

"This isn't just about man's evil nature. It's also about yours!"

"I won't let the evils of man's world consume me!" Diana stood up and almost walked out the door. Yet she stopped just before reaching it. She didn't even look at Kami. Though it was inevitable he was disappointed.

"I was once like you. Fearful of what the evil inside of me might become. So I separated myself from that evil. And that gave birth to Piccolo. So many people died because I made a selfish decision to reject the evil inside of me. Now though Piccolo has grown. He's found friends, and is currently fighting alongside them. They could all use your help." Diana turned back around. Just for a brief second she actually considered taking up his offer.

"I... I can't. My mother created me from Clay. I was born away from the sins of mankind. I will not allow man's corruption to taint me further." Diana sounded so sure on the outside. However Kami could sense that she had doubts.

"Remember when Zeus offered you a place back on Themyiscira? Did it ever cross your mind as to why he did that?" The Amazon shrugged. It had honestly never crossed her mind. "It's because in man's world, he can't control you. And Zeus hates what he can't control. Especially those who have the potential for the transformation of Olympus." A gasp came from the warrior. Then a shake from the head. What Kami had suggested was ludicrous.

"That's impossible. Only someone with the blood of Zeus running through their veins can access that power." Suddenly it hit home for Diana. "What aren't you telling me? The guardian smirked as he stood up.

"Something you should hear from your mother. Did you know your lasso has a unique feature? Anyone caught in it will be unable to lie." Diana looked down at her lasso. She had been completely unaware of that ability. It would have been quite useful in some instances. Her memory returned to the night she witnessed that woman's dead body. And how that man had tricked her. Why didn't her mother mention this before? It wasn't like her to forget something of great importance. Maybe she was hiding something. "With that you'll get the answers you seek." Kami strolled past Diana and out the door.

"Wait!" The guardian stopped, turning back to the warrior. "How is everyone back in man's world?"

"Why don't you ask them yourself?" Without another word the Namekian headed out. He did all he could for Diana. It was now up to her. He knew that she was important. Ruin was coming to their earth. And the Justice League needed all of its members. Kami soon made his way to the portal connecting Olympus to the lookout. However the God of War stood in his way. The Olympians expression oozed gloom.

"Whatever you told Diana, it won't change a thing." Ares ranted. "She's sees mankind for what they truly are!"

"And soon she'll see what you truly are." Kami fired back. "You're just using her for your own personal gain!" That remark seemed to strike a nerve with the Olympian.

"Untrue!" Ares shouted that out at the top of his lungs. Even Kami was surprised that the god had lost his cool. "I don't need Diana to achieve my paradise. I have the power to do that on my own."

"So why include her in the first place?"

"Simple. I am the only one who truly cares about her." Kami chuckled.

"Then you are a bigger fool than I thought." The two glared at each other. Ares with hatred in his eyes. While Kami only had pity. "There are those she calls friends down on Earth. And they won't stand by a let you achieve your paradise."

"It matters little where they stand. I'll still crush them. Just like I will to the entire world." The two continued to glare at each other. Before Kami walked past towards the portal. "Only an Olympian can kill another Olympian. Humanity has no chance."

"Humanity are stronger than you think!" And with those last words. Kami stepped through the portal. Leaving the God of War to himself. It was true that Diana had made bonds that weren't easily broken. But he had something that the so called Justice League lacked. They were family.

.

So I hoped you enjoyed. Next chapter will be number 100! Never did I think id have the devotion to reach that number. I just want to thank everyone who has supported this story. You guys mean the world to me.

.

For the next chapter id like you to ask me some questions. Not about the future of this story but about the past. Like my inspirations and why i decided to do some things and introduce certain characters. While I do always answer your questions I want to share a bit more of the behind the scenes. NO PERSONAL QUESTIONS. I hope this is obvious but any questions like my name or where i live will be ignored.

Anyway I hoped you enjoyed and see you next time.

Reviews:

YOROZUYA43: Yeah that was my big issue with writing the Frieza saga. It was essentially just a carbon copy with very few minor changes. I want to follow the main structure of this Arc but have major twists during it.

Sailordragonball87:

1: No plans for any of those characters.

2: The rest would be spoilers.

Corondomontes: Thanks

X3runner:

1: Spoilers

2: Damian is just an ordinary human so he wont do much fighting. His character will help with the character development of both Bruce and Trunks.

3: Cell didn't mention Flashpoint. He said Flash helped him because he has access to the speed force. Due to possesing Flash's cells. Allowing him to travel back in time. However yes there is Fallout from Flashpoint which will be explained later.
4: Rest are spoilers

MeteorElDrago: Yes Cell has all those abilities and more.
Guest: Fair enough.
ChristianHeath: Spoilers i'm afraid.
