Hello everyone! Just so you know, two of Manuel's OCs will be appearing in this story! I hope you enjoy!

Carl Casagrande is in his bedroom getting ready for school at their Royal Woods bodega downtown.

"I feel pretty… oh so pretty…" He chants as he combs his hair. "So pretty and guapo."

Just then, Carlota knocks on his door, interrupting his chant. "Carl, apurate! We're gonna be late for school!"

"Un momento, sis! I'll be right there!" Carl continues combing. "A little more… and… there!" He immediately puts down his comb on his brown drawer, then grabs his backpack which was laying on his bed, and finally leaves his room where Carlota is waiting for him.

Carl sighs. "Here you go." He hands her makeup back. "Happy now?"

Carlota crosses her arms. "Yes."

"Which reminds me… Carlota, were you in the middle of any love triangles?"

"Hmm… come to think of it… nobody's ever…" she sniffs, on the verge of tears, "noticed me. Oh why do I waste my allowance on discount clothing?!" She cried. "It has never attracted any men! Not even my thicc body!" She runs to her room crying.

"I take that back," said Carl.

"I better go calm her down." Frida walks over to her hija's room.

"And I better get to school!" Carl runs out of the apartment in a hurry, slamming the front door.

"Hey! You didn't even eat your breakfast!" Rosa complained. "Someone should teach that boy to love my cookin
