Rosie was sitting in the waiting room of her doctors office. She was waiting for her appointment. She was flipping through a national geographic magazine looking at he pictures. Her dad was next to her looking over her shoulder and Rosie was explaining some things she could tell about how they took the photos and such.

Dave listened impressed with his daughter knowledge after only a year of being in the photography club. The doctor came out and smiled at the two of them. "Miss Rossi.'

Rosie smiled and got up taking her crutches. She was using them, but it was clear by how that she really didn't need them anymore.

Dave got up as well and the two of them went in following the doctor to an empty examination room.

They both sat down. Rosie on the table in the room and Dave in a chair next to the doctors desk.

"You look like you don't even really need the crutches anymore." The doctor said

"Probably not." Rosie said

"If you don't need them you don't have to use them. Will probably help the ribs heal faster not having to use them." The doctor said.

Rosie nodded.

"I can see you just had another x-ray this morning on your ribs. And comparing them to the ones from a couple weeks ago they are starting to heal though. How have they been feeling?" The doctor asked

"Still hurts. But definitely hurting less. Not needing the pain killers much anymore. One pill once a day at most." She said

The doctor seems surprised. "Really? That's great. You must have a high pain tolerance."

"It still hurts but ice and rest have been keeping it below a five most of the time." Rosie said

"Good. Ice and rest are both critical." The doctor said as she put her stethoscope in her ears and started to check Rosie's lungs. As Rosie took deep breaths the doctor could see her cringing from the pain.

"Your lungs sound clear. But you're in pain." The doctor said

"Well, it is a bit sore." Rosie said

"That looked like more than a bit." The doctor said, "one to ten where is the pain right now?"

"About a four." Rosie said

Dave tilted his head. "Rosie. Why are you lying?" He asked concerned.

Rosie looked at her dad.

"I know your tell." He said

Rosie huffed a laugh "I have a tell?"

"Yes." Dave said

"Tell me the truth. What's your pain level." The doctor said.

Rosie sighed. "I can handle it…"

"That's not what I asked." The doctor said

"Rosie. Tell the truth." Dave said sternly

"A six…" She said

"Rosie." Dave said in a warning tone.

"Fine.. a nine.." She said

"Why would you lie about that?" The doctor asked

"I don't know…" Rosie said looking down.

"Rosie. Explain." Dave said

"I didn't want to have to take more pain killers…" Rosie said

"Why?" The doctor asked. "Are you running low?"

"No. I still have plenty." Rosie said.

"Than why?" Dave asked

Rosie looked up at her dad with a look telling him why.

"Rose. I didn't tell you about the fact that there -might be a genetic predisposition because I didn't want you to take them if you really need them." Dave said

The doctor looked at him confused.

"I don't have many details because I couldn't even tell you names. But her maternal grandfather and great grandfather were both addicts." Dave said

The doctor nodded. "That doesn't mean you would have that issue." She said looking at Rosie.

"I just…Don't want to take any chances…" Rosie said "And I do have anorexia which can be considered an additive thing…"

The doctor nodded. "Your not wrong. However, it is not quite the same. Rosie I have been a doctor for a lot of years. I have seen people of all ages. Seen addictions coming with eating disorders but a lot more of people who don't. And no, its not as simple as looking at a person and knowing whether or not they are addicts but Rosie. You are so concerned about the small chance that you are suffering. An addict will find any excuse to use. You are forcing yourself not to when you actually need to."

Rosie sighed abit and nodded.

"Do you have the pain killers with you?" The doctor asked

Rosie nodded and nodded to the chair next to her dad when she had put her bag.

Dave handed her the bag and Rosie took out the bottle of pills.

The doctor looked at them "You've used about half. If you had been using these at the max dosage from the beginning it would be empty. Take them. As you need." The doctor said. "But there is nothing wrong with using ice and rest to prolong time between dosing -if you really can handle it. But a nine. Is really high. And not being able to take deep breaths without intense pain is really going to make it miserable when it doesn't have to be."

Rosie nodded.

The doctor got up and went and got her a cup of water. "Take one now." She said when she came back in the room.

Rosie took one and swallowed it with the water.

"Now let me take a look at your ankle." The doctor said.

Rosie took the sandal she was wearing off and let the doctor take a closer look.

"Looks pretty good. Definitely healing. Pain?" The doctor asked

"The truth Rosie." Dave said

"When I'm sitting don't feel much pain. A one at most. When walking on it a two or three." Rosie said

"Good." The doctor said. "That will likely be fully healed in a week."

Rosie smiled and nodded.

"And walking on it will help strengthen it up again." The doctor said

"Okay." Rosie said

"Any questions?" The doctor asked

"I'm having an end of year party next week. Swimming. Can I do that with my ribs?" Rosie asked

"If you can move without to much pain yes. I wouldn't suggest full on swimming but I'm guessing at a pool party wont be much actual swimming." The doctor said with a smile.

Rosie chuckled.

"Being in the water and gently moving could actually help. It puts less stress on the bones and muscles of the body making it so you can move a little easier." The doctor said, "Good for your ankle too."

"Okay." Rosie said with a smile.

"Any other questions?" The doctor asked both of them.

Rosie shook her head.

"I think we are good." Dave said

The doctor nodded and all three of them got up from their seats. Dave took the crutches to carry them, and they all headed out.

Dave and Rosie went to his car and started for home. "The DNA kit you sent away for also will tell you what your DNA would say in regard to whether you have a predisposition to a lot of thing. Including addiction." Dave told her

Rosie nodded. "I didn't know that."

"Its quite interesting. I have sent for them for myself as well." Dave said

Rosie chuckled. "I will be able to tell what I get from your side as opposed to my mothers."

Dave chuckled. "I guess so yes."

"So. You say I have a tell?" Rosie asked

"Yes. But I will not be telling you." Dave said

"Why not?" Rosie asked with a smirk

"You know why." Dave said

Rosie sighed. "Fine. I'll figure it out myself."

"I wish you luck on that endeavor." Dave said as he phone started to ring.

Dave answered it on speaker. It was Ms. Jarvis. Dave was supposed to be heading to the office they had a case locally and Ms. Jarvis has supposed to be coming to stay with Rosie, but she had a family emergency come up and had to go out of state. Dave told her it was okay. He understood and to let him know if there was anything they could do to help before hanging up.

Dave looked at Rosie. "Am I going to be able to trust that you will stay out of trouble for a few hours?"

"Yes. I wont leave the house unless it is an emergency." Rosie said

"Alright." Dave said. "Call me if you need anything."

Rosie nodded and went inside. And Dave headed to work

Rosie sent on a mass text to everyone she had invited to the pool party.

'The party is a go. Come over for 1pm. Bring your swimsuits and towels. Also, will be a make your own pizza station and will be shooting off fireworks at the park across the street. Oh, and because I know someone's parents will likely ask. My father will be here.' She sent the text

Rosie than went to her room and sat at her desk and continued making decisions she needed to for the party. She texted Penny.

'Want to go to the mall with me sometime this week. I need a new swimsuit and would much rather go with you than my dad.' Rosie send

Penny was working when she got the text. She looked at it and smiled sending a quick reply. 'Yes! When did you want to go?'

Rosie smiled when she got the text. 'I think you have a busier schedule than me at the moment. Let me know when you are free. I'm sure I will be available.' She sent

Penny read the text and shook her head with a smile. 'Tomorrow. I will pick you up at ten.'

Rosie squeed when she got the text and sent back 'Perfect. Thank you. See you than.' She finished up what she needed to before grabbing a book and sitting on the window seat in her room and reading. She noticed something in the window at the next-door neighbours house and made a face. No one was supposed to be there. The house was still a crime scene. Maybe it was the police? She got up and went and checked out a front window and saw no police cars on the street or in the driveway.

She texted her dad. 'Someone is at the house next door. I could see someone in the window, but it doesn't seem like there are any police cars parked anywhere close. Is someone from the FBI there?'

Dave looked at his phone when it went off. They were all working on paperwork to finish up for the day. He got up and went to Aaron's office and knocked

"Enter." He heard

Dave went in. "Any agents at the house next to mine today?"

Aaron looked up at him and shook his head. "No. There shouldn't be. Why?" Aaron asked

"Rosie see's someone in the window of the house." Dave said

Aaron sighed. "Okay. Lets go." He said getting up.

They both headed out.

"Seems someone has broken into the house next to Rossi's place. Rosie sees someone through windows. We should head there to make sure its still secure." Hotch told the team.

They all got up and headed out the building and over.

Dave went home when they got there just to check on his daughter. Rosie was watching out the library window which gave the best view of everything. Dave went into the library.

"You don't need to watch what is going on over there." Dave said

Rosie looked up at him and chuckled. "I'm nosy."

Dave shook his head and watched with his daughter. He too was curious. Thirty minutes later everyone came outside. There was no one with them. Blake and Morgan came over to the house and Dave let them in.

They went into the library.

"What exactly did you see?" Derek asked

"I don't know. There was movement." Rosie said

"Where?" Alex asked

"In the window." Rosie said

"a person?" Derek asked

"Not sure exactly. I saw it from outside my bedroom window. By the time I got down here I couldn't see them anymore." Rosie said

"There was no one in that house." Alex said

"They much have seen me too and left…." Rosie said

"Its possible." Alex said not sounding to sure

"You don't believe me…" Rosie said

"We believe you think you saw someone." Derek said

"You think I was seeing something." Rosie said softly looking down

Derek knelt down in front of where she was sitting. "We know you wouldn't make it up. We believe you think you saw something. And you did the right thing. You let someone know."

"I saw something. I know I did." Rosie said

Derek took a breath. "What window?"

"Basement. The front basement window." Rosie said

"We checked the whole house. There is a layer of dust on everything. No one has been in that house since the last time we were." Derek said.

"I know what I saw." Rosie said voice annoyed

"Rosie. You're on pretty strong medication. It makes you a little loopy. As you have said yourself." Dave said

Rosie took a breath. "I know what I saw!" She said voice getting louder.

"Alright. Take a breath." Dave said

Rosie did so.

"If you see someone again. You call again." Alex said.

Rosie nodded. "Okay."

Derek and Alex left. Dave looked at his daughter. "You're not in trouble. I believe you saw something. But maybe it was a shadow of something from the angle you were looking at it."

"I. Saw. Movement. Someone was in there." Rosie said

Dave took a breath. "Okay. Well, there was no one in that house anymore. They must have left." Dave didn't see a point in arguing with her about this.

Rosie nodded.

"You did the right thing. You handled it exactly right." Dave said. "I'm proud of you." He said

Rosie nodded. "You can go back to work." She said

Dave took a breath. "You sure?"

"Yes." Rosie said

Dave kissed her head. "I love you."

"Love you too." Rosie said.

Dave went back to work. Rosie went back to reading every once in awhile looking out the window.

It was starting to get dark but again she saw the movement in that window. She took out her phone and tried to take a picture, but it was away from the window. She called Spencer this time.

"Hey Rosie." Spencer said answering the phone.

"I saw it again. I even tried to take a picture, but it moved away from the window." Rosie said

Spencer took a breath. "Okay. We'll come back." He said he hung up and let everyone know. Hotch sent Morgan and Reid to go this time. Rossi went with them. Once again the house was searched but no one was found.

Spencer and Derek came over and went into the library.

"Rosie. There is no one in that house." Spencer said

"I think you need to get away from the windows." Derek said softly.

"I KNOW WHAT I SAW." Rosie said. She was angry.

"You do not need to yell." Derek said.

"We don't think you are making this up. We just think you are seeing things you want to see." Spencer said.

Rosie got up and walked out the house and went to the neighbours house. Morgan, Reid and Rossi went after her.

"Rosie do not go in that house." Dave said

Rosie ignored him and went into the house and down to the basement towards the front of the house. She came to the window and there was nothing. No one was there. She looked around the basement. There was a lot of junk but there was no one else there.

"I know what I saw." She said softly entirely confused.

Dave went and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Rosie. Sometimes our mind plays tricks on us. Makes us think we see things. That aren't there." Spencer said

"And being on strong pain killer. Doesn't help that." Derek said

Rosie nodded abit. "I'm sorry." She said

"Come on. Lets go." Dave said.

"I'm really sorry." Rosie said.

"Its okay. Lets just get out of here. You shouldn't be in here." Dave said

Rosie started to head out but saw something out of the corner of her eye moving off to one side, but she didn't say anything figuring she was just seeing things.

The other three saw it too though and Dave put Rosie behind her, and Reid and Morgan pointed weapons in that direction.

"You saw it too?!" Rosie asked

"Shh. Yes." Dave said

"FBI. Come out with your hands up." Morgan said

Out came a dog limping and whining.

"Awe. The poor thing!" Rosie said going towards it. Dave grabbed her. "No. Don't touch it. You don't know if it's rabid." Dave said

Spencer checked the door over from a distance. "No froth around the mouth."

"Any human in here needs to come out now." Morgan said. Just ensuring there was no human with this dog. That some how an entire time of FBI agents had missed.

Spencer moved towards the dog slowly. "I'm not going to hurt you." He said

The dog growled and backed away.

"Careful boy genius you don't want to have to get a needle in your ass." Morgan said

Rosie giggled from beside her dad.

"Why don't we can animal control." Dave said

"NO!" Rosie said. "They will kill him."

"You don't know that." Dave said

"God for a bunch of federal agents you three are idiots when it comes to animals and animal control." Rosie said

"Rosie!" Dave said

Rosie pushed past Spencer and Derek and sat down legs crossed in front of her. "Hey. I'm just going to sit here. You can come over when your ready. I'm not going to hurt you. But when you feel safe I can make sure you get to a doctor who can help you feel better." She said

Spencer and Derek looked up at Dave.

"You three need to back up. So, the dog doesn't feel crowded." Rosie said

Dave sighed and nodded telling them its okay. And the three men backed away from the girl and the dog.

They sat there for a good twenty minutes till the dog limped over to the girl.

Rosie put her hand out and the dog sniffed her and licked her hand a bit. Rosie smiled. "Hi. I'm Rosie."

The dog moved in closer to her and laid down head in her lap. Rosie gently pet the dog. "Good dog." She said softly.

She could feel someone moving in behind her.

"No. Not yet." She said to whomever it was.

Spencer snickered as Dave shook his head moving back again. Derek smirked

"I know they might seem a little scary, but they are three of the people I trust more than anything. Even though some how them and an entire FBI team some how missed you when they searched. You must have been hiding really good." Rosie said softly.

The dog looked up at them than back at her.

"I can try picking you up if your okay with it. But you might be a bit to big." She said

The dog moved his head up to where her side hurt from the broken ribs and sniffed and tried to lick at it.

"Damn, Can that dog tell she has broken ribs?" Morgan asked

Spencer spouted some fact about dogs and the things that they can sense.

"Yeah. I'm a little hurt. I think the same person who hurt you hurt me." Rosie said

The dog nuzzled her hand that was petting it.

"Do you think you'd be okay if one of them picked you up? I promise they wont hurt you." Rosie said to the dog.

The dog looked up at the three men.

"Dad. You can come. Slowly." She said

Dave started to move in slowly.

"Put your hand out so the dog can smell you. To tell that you are safe." Rosie said

Dave did what she said, and the dog sniffed him and ended up getting licked.

Rosie moved backwards letting her dad get in and pick up the dog gently.

Rosie stood up as well.

The three of them left the house with Dave carrying the dog.

"Told you I saw something." Rosie said

"You were right." Dave said. "I'm sorry I doubted you."

The other two apologized as well.

"Its forgiven." Rosie said.

Dave got the dog into the back seat of his car. Rosie went into the house and grabbed her bag locking the door behind her. And went with her dad who was taking the dog to the vet. Spencer and Derek went back to the office. And told them what they found and what the whole team had some how managed to miss but the fifteen-year-old somehow made the dog feel safe to come out.

"Its because she has nothing but kindness in her heart. The dog could tell she wasn't going to hurt him." JJ said

"Yeah. I haven't known her for very long. But of course, I know parts of her story. The parts that where in the news anyways. And that hasn't seemed to make her an angry or mean person." Blake said

"There is not an evil bone in her body. Her mother certainly wasn't perfect but from the little I knew her she was exactly like Rosie. Kind almost to a fault." Aaron said

"And Dave is a very generous person as well. Opening his home to us all basically every holiday." Penny said

/\/\/\/\

Meanwhile at the vet the dog kept trying to bite the veterinarian every time she tried to check his leg.

Rosie stood by the dog and kept petting him. "Its okay. I know its scary. She is just trying to help."

The vet grabbed a treat from the table behind her and offered it to the dog.

The dog sniffed it and took it eating it quickly. The vet smiled. "I think you're hungry." She grabbed a handful for kibble from a jar on the table behind her as well and placed it on the table in front of the dog the dog quickly ate that as well.

When he was done he looked up at her. "Can I take a look at your leg now?" the vet asked

The dog laid his head down sadly.

The vet gently took the leg and the dog yelped. The vet set it down. "x-rays probably the best way."

"Whatever needs to be done. I will cover the costs." Dave said

Rosie looked up at her dad and smiled.

Dave put a hand on her shoulder. "Because I know there is not a chance in this world that if this dog doesn't have an owner looking for him that my daughter will not convince me to keep him."

The veterinarian chuckled. "I will check for a microchip to ensure of course."

Rosie smiled at her dad. "Seriously? I'm not going to have to beg?"

Dave chuckled. "No. I think if you want to that you can be responsible for a dog."

Rosie squeed.

"But if there is an owner who is missing him. He is going home." Dave said

"Of course." Rosie said. "I would not want to keep him from his family if he has one."

The veterinarian took the dog off for the x-ray. And Rosie and Dave went and sat in the waiting room. About fifteen minutes later they were called back into the room where the dog was whimpering.

"Hey. Its okay." Rosie said

The dog looked up and his mood suddenly improved.

"I think he got scared you left him." The vet said

"No. I'm here. Either until we find your family or forever." Rosie said

"Nothing showing on the x-ray. Likely just bone bruising. Should be fine with rest in a couple days." The vet said. She had her assistant bring in the microchip checker and ran it along the area where a chip would be at it did show up. The information was checked on the computer.

"Owner is a Sebastian Morton." The vet said

"He is a child predator that is behind bars and if I have anything to say about it he will never see day light again." Dave said.

Rosie looked down and the dog started to lick her face.

"He is our old neighbour. That's not even his legal name. The dog was found in his basement. He didn't tell anyone about him. This poor guy has been alone in that house for weeks at this point." Dave said

The vet nodded. "Okay. That does check out with how malnourished he is."

"I will get you any documents you need to protect yourself." Dave said

The vet nodded. "Appreciated." She put a bowl of water for the dog. "Will have to give him food and water slowly over time so he doesn't get sick." She said

The dog drank the water.

"Is there a name on file?" Dave asked

"Yes." The vet said. "But you will want to pick a different one." She said

Rosie looked up. "What was that asshat calling this poor dog?"

"Language." Dave said

"I'm sorry. You're right. That is to nice of a name to call that pedo." Rosie said

Dave sighed. "What else do we need to know to help him heal?"

"He needs to rest for a couple days as much as possible." The vet said.

Rosie nodded. "Is there anyway to know if he got hurt simply because it was alone or if someone hurt him?"

"No. Not really." The vet said.

Rosie nodded and pet the dog. "I promise you will be safe with me."

The dog nuzzled her again.

"I think he has found his forever best friend." The vet said

"How old is he?" Rosie asked

"Best guess. Between six months and a year." The vet said

Rosie nodded. "We've been saying he. But is he actually a boy?"

The vet smiled and nodded. "Yes. I would have corrected otherwise."

"So. What do you think your name should be?" She asked the dog

The dog licked her face.

Rosie chuckled.

"Based on the information that you gave me I'm going to have to assume he hasn't had any shots." The vet said. "I should probably start those. Today." She added

"Great. He's just starting to trust me. He's going to hate me…" Rosie said

"Nah. He will be okay." The vet said. "But you can hold him while I do it." She said

Rosie looked up at her dad.

"Its important. Just like its important for you to be vaccinated." He said

"Well, I don't like it either." She mumbled she looked at the dog. "I'm sorry buddy. I tried."

The vet got the shot ready, and the dog whimpered when he saw it.

"Hey. Its okay. Just look at me." Rosie said to the dog.

The dog looked up at her his eyes almost begging her to stop it.

She put and arm around the dog and hugged him close and the vet gave the shots.

The dog whimpered.

When the vet was done she gave the dog another treat. "Good job." She said

Rosie let the dog go and he happily ate his treat.

"He is all good to go. I would like to see him for a check up in a few weeks." She said

Rosie nodded.

"We will make sure that happens." Dave said.

Dave picked up the dog and brought him out to the front setting him down before paying for everything. "We will need to go to a pet store and get a few thing." Dave said

Rosie smiled and nodded.

"And we can update the chip information with your contact information. Once you have a name for him we will add that in too." The vet said

Rosie nodded and smiled "Thank you."

Dave picked up the dog and they all went outside to the car. "We need to get you a collar and leash so you can walk yourself." He said

Rosie chuckled. "He is supposed to be taking it easy."

"You're right." Dave said.

They drove to the pet store and the three went inside and first they got a collar and leash because at some point he would need to walk on his own. They also got him a dog bed some dog bowls and food that the vet recommended. Rosie even took him to the toys and let him pick out a couple.

When they were done at the store they headed back out to the car where Rosie put on his collar. He didn't fight it at all. They went home and Rosie set up the dog bed in her room where the dog immediately laid down to rest.

"Yeah. Its been a busy day hasn't it?" Rosie said. She took a picture of the dog and posted it to social media. With the caption I have a new best friend. He is the sweetest dog in the world. Name to come.

It wasn't long before she was getting comments on the post and texts from people asking about her new friend.

"You're going to have so many people who love you." Rosie said. "But you need a name first." She said and stared to google names.

Penny was heading out for the day passing by the squad room to say bye to everyone when a notification came to her phone. She had gotten a notification from Rosie's Instagram. She gasped.

Derek looked up from his desk. "Hey baby girl. Everything okay?"

"Dave must have let Rosie keep the dog." She said in her excited voice she showed Derek the picture before showing everyone else.

"I wonder how much she had to beg." Derek said

"My guess very little." JJ said. "That girl has him wrapped around her little finger." She said with a chuckle.

Aaron came down from his office and saw his team huddled around a phone.

"We talking about Rosie?" he asked hearing the tail end of the conversation

Penny showed him the picture.

"Ah. Lucky girl." Aaron said, "I'm taking it this is the dog from the neighbours?"

"Yes." Spencer said.

"Well good. He deserves a good home." Aaron said, "And I don't think any of us would be any different if we lost our child for twelve years." He added

Everyone agreed before heading out for home.

/\/\/\/\

Rosie was looking up name ideas when her video chat started to ring. She answered it. "hey Penny."

"Any name yet?" She asked

Rosie chuckled. "No. I'm trying to get ideas from online lists, but I also want to give him something unique."

"Well, I don't think you will think of a name that no one else has ever thought of. So just go with what suits him." Penny said

Rosie nodded. "I'm thinking going with the german theme as he is a german shepherd."

"I like that idea." Penny said, "What are three words you would use to describe him?"

"I don't know. He's still pretty new to me. But. He's a sweetheart, observant but I think that's most dogs, brave" She said

"Well. You don't need to name him right away. Take a few days. Get to know him." Penny said. "But Derek told me that he seemed hurt. Is he okay?"

"Bruised bone. He also got some shots, so he is sleepy." Rosie said

"Awe. How did he do with the shots?" Penny asked

"Whined the entire time." Rosie said

"Well. Its good you were there. Help him know that you are going to stick around. Did he have a chip?" Penny asked

"Yes. And was listed as owned by the asshat pedo. But under his fake name." Rosie said

Penny nodded

"And yeah. When he was getting x-rays apparently he cried the entire time till he saw me again… He thought I had left him…" Rosie said

"Awe. He missed you. Well, I think he has found a good home. I assume by your post your dad is letting you keep him?" Penny asked

"I didn't even have to ask. He knew I would ask. He had told me if there wasn't a good home somewhere that was looking for him that I could keep him. He likes the idea of a protector dog. But I cant tell if he is going to be a protector or a baby who tries to be a lap dog." Rosie said with a chuckle

Penny laughed. "Well, german shepherds are fiercely loyal and protective usually. He just needs time to rest and heal and get to know you and I'm sure he will protect you."

"Either way I will love him." Rosie said

"How are you feeling anyways. You had an appointment today." Penny said

"Off crutches. Ribs starting to heal. Still need to take it easy." Rosie said

"Well, you and your new friend can rest up together." Penny said

"Yup. That's the plan." Rosie said

The two hung up soon after. Rosie went and took a shower and got ready for bed. When she was done she looked at her dog. "you need to go outside?" she asked

The dog got up and went with her. Rosie took him on the elevator and outside in the backyard. The dog looked over at the neighbours house and whimpered.

"Don't worry. You are safe." Rosie said patting his head.

The dog did his business and Rosie used grabbed a plastic bag to pick it up and throw it out. When he was done the two went back inside.

She went to her dad's office. "Thank you." She said

Dave looked up "For what?"

"For everything. A safe home. A loving family. For this guy." She said

Dave smiled. "Anything for you bambina." Dave said

Rosie went and hugged him tight. Dave hugged her.

"You pick a name yet?" Dave asked

"No. I'm going to get to know him a couple days and than decide." She said, "But I am thinking something german to go with his breed."

Dave nodded. "Sounds like a good though. I do have a question about how its going to work with your party. You plan to keep him inside as much as possible? Or let him decided if he wants in and out?"

"I'm not sure. I'll see how he reacts to people." Rosie said

Dave nodded. "Okay. Well. Its late. And been a long day. You should head to bed." He said

Rosie nodded. "Good night." She said before heading upstairs with her dog.
