Chapter 1

The Lonesome Warrior

Shadow was riding on his bike through Death Valley; he was riding fast, Cloud caught his attention and followed behind closely. He got to an old abandoned house on the outskirts; he went forward towards the house. Suddenly a flying disk came down in front of him. He picked it up and looked at the message.

Shadow I am watching you and if you try to find me there will be much to pay so don't bother going into the house you never know what will be their lurking in the shadows of the room.

He put the message in his pocket for safe keepings. Cloud arrived and saw the expression on his face; he saw that he was angry and felt like killing someone.

"Shadow" He said violently and blunt.

Shadow just ignored and walked away in disappointment, He got on his motorbike and said to Cloud.

"I will find out I promise you that I will" Shadow said in a pissed voice.

"What do you mean?" Cloud said anxiously.

Shadow threw the note behind him and left, leaving dust behind him. Cloud picked up the letter and read, he then looked up and saw dust from Shadow's back wheel, Cloud looked up and saw a figure on top of one of the mountains in the valley, Cloud started up his bike and then looked up once again and nothing was there, no figure, nothing. He drove off on his bike. Back at the mountain the figure said.

"My plan has started" he said and then laughed after it and echoed through the valley.

Cloud arrived back, he went into his room where he was alone then he took out the message and read it over and over again, suddenly Vincent appeared behind him, Cloud turned quickly with sword in hand pressed too Vincent's neck.

"Sorry, just a little bit jumpy if you know what I mean Vincent" Cloud said to him in a deep dark voice.

Cloud took the sword away from his neck, gave him the creased message and Vincent read it.

"Was this written to you?" He said wondering.

"No. It was to Shadow I don't know what's up but we must help it's a strong force of evil I don't know were from but I will help Shadow" He said then he punched the wall.

"If I must I will too Cloud don't worry" Vincent said in a quiet voice.

Suddenly the window smashed but there was no evidence to show what smashed it, Vincent brought his gun out and Cloud got one of his many swords and they both got ready for battle. Rock warriors grew from the ground, Vincent fired his gun multiple times but it had no effect on the rock warriors. Cloud came in with a forward slash and destroyed one of them forcing the others to disappear.

"My gun had no effect" Vincent said breathing deeply.

"That was close Vincent we need to watch our back around here"

Both of them left and set off to the Dragon City to find Tifa. They got to Dragon City they started looking for Tifa but their was no sign of her any where Cloud started to worry then he saw Shadow and went after him like a bullet when he got to Shadow he said.

"Shadow do you know were Tifa is?" Cloud said in a worried voice.

"Look up my friend" Shadow said.

Cloud looked up in shock. Tifa was strapped to a post and a figure was their and he had a blade in his hand ready for action. Cloud got his blade at the ready, suddenly Vincent jumped up and started shooting at the figure rapidly without stopping but the figure stopped every bullet. Cloud jumped up and started fighting with him destroying roof tops and everything in their way then the figure disappeared with Tifa.

"This is it" cloud said in an angry voice

They both drove off too find Tifa and to find out who this figure was and what he wanted with them and Shadow.
