Backstory:

Born as the son of a single mother whose father abandoned him by the time he was born, Tommy grew up in a small apartment with his mother who worked as a singer and did photography at several clubs in the California area.

Money was tight for the pair of them, Tommy had to work evenings to help his mother pay the bills. By the time he was 13, he turned to boxing to help to stem his anger.

He ended up with a broken nose after beating up two kids that were twice the size of him.

In 1935, Thomas joined the Army, subsequently being stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia.

Tommy is a Sergeant in the US Army.

In 1940, his mother died after being shot in an alleyway. Without anyone, Thomas continued to serve with the Army becoming a paratrooper. By 1942, Thomas was fighting in North Africa. He serves with the British Commonwealth Forces as a trained sniper.

Personality:

Growing up during the depression was hard on Tommy, like many others, their families had hard luck and it got worse as time grew on, jobs were hard to come by, so was food and other necessities.

Tommy managed to get into a good school, his mother worked hard to get him into school, and he had done the same thing as well.

Having an intense anger problem worried his mother, she worried that it would get him killed or land him in prison. Tommy turned to boxing to help control that anger, he used his mother's valued words that helped him to restrain himself during tough times.

Having enlisted for the Army, he pushed himself to become a good soldier, his response to the training was exceptional.

Already battle-hardened from the first few months in North Africa with the British. He immediately wanted revenge for the loss of his brothers-in-arms.

He was skilled in firearms, explosives and had an exceptional eye for being able to shoot without having to adjust.
