Backstory:

A native of Little Italy, Joseph grew up the 1st generation of Italian-American, His father served honourably as a Marine from 1915 – 1920. His mother Bridgette was a French immigrant from France who Giuseppe met in the War.

At the age of 16, Joseph graduated early from High School lying about his age to join the US Marines with the blessing of his father, Mother and Uncle. When Pearl Harbor got hit, he was in the Philippines, he had fought hard out there against the conquering Japanese forces.

Defying an attempt to surrender, he stayed behind to launch a guerrilla war, with several cut off troops and his brother, he began to establish a network of guerrilla fighters to fight against the overwhelming Japanese Army.

He however was noticed for his exceptional skill with a rifle and his skill at being silent without being seen. He then was assigned to the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion at the request of the commander.

His brother Tommaso (named after their Uncle who fought in the Marines and died on the job whilst as a Police Officer) is currently serving in European Theatre of Operations with the Airborne Infantry after frontline action in the Philippines.

Personality:

Joseph is very confident, capable and a warrior. He believes in honor and the flag. His loyalty to duty is unrivalled. Joseph dearly loves his parents and his twin brother. But he is saddened that he had to leave his parents in Little Italy to fight.

Joseph is a tough as nails and aggressive combat veteran, he does not shy away from pressure and likes to fight against the enemy. He's a capable and determined to look at a situation and determine the best course of action to win against the enemy.
