Before I get started on this one - yes, I am a Danny/Sam and Kim/Ron shipper. Those were two of my first pairings as a kid and my love for those pairings hasn't changed a bit. I've read NeoMark's 'A Possible Encounter For A Phantom' and 'After Many Dates: Danny and Kim' and I thought they were a fresh take on the worlds of Danny Phantom and Kim Possible. So I thought I'd do a Danny/Kim story myself. This is gonna take place in both shows' first seasons, so Danny, Sam and Tucker are 14; Jazz, Kim, Ron and the rest of the Middleton gang are 16.

We start things off in Amity Park, a small suburb of Chicago. The most recognizable building in Amity Park is that of FentonWorks - a research and development facility owned by the Fenton family. There's Jack - the Fred Flintstone of the family, Maddie - the levelheaded voice of reason to Jack...and their kids - 16 year old Jasmine, who thinks she's an adult, and 14 year old Danny. Danny has a secret of his own. A month ago, he walked into his parents' ghost portal on a dare from his best friend Sam Manson. Upon turning on the portal, his DNA got infused with ghostly ectoplasm, granting him ghost powers which he now uses to protect Amity Park from the dangers of the Ghost Zone.

A new school year had just begun, but for Danny Fenton and his friends just coming out of Elmer Hartman Middle School, they weren't going to be going to Casper High School. They were in for a bit of a surprise.

"Hey, guys!" the chipper 14 year old Danny greeted his friends. "Jazz told me what happened at Casper High."

"Yeah, turns out someone exposed Casper High for its mistreatment of students outside their 'A-Listers'..." Tucker remarked. Tucker Foley was the techno-geek of the trio, brandishing tech gear anywhere and everywhere. "Question is who..."

"I don't care who it was, just the fact that it happened," Sam responded. Sam Manson is the goth punk of Danny's circle. Black, black and more black make up her outfit. She also harbors a secret crush on Danny, but would never admit it. "My cousin Katie was going to Casper and she told me about the torment the other students went through there. I'm glad someone spoke up!"

The trio was soon intercepted by Danny's redhead sister Jasmine, better known as Jazz.

"Danny! Danny!" Jazz called out.

"Oh, hey Jazz!" Danny greeted his sister. As overbearing as she is, Danny still loved his older sister dearly.

"You'll never guess where the district is sending all us high schoolers!" Jazz beamed.

"No, but I'm sure you'll tell us..." Sam said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. That was another trait of Sam's - she could get sarcastic when she wanted to.

"Turns out that the district cut Casper High's funding and they're sending all of us to our neighbor city - Middleton!"

"MIDDLETON?!" Danny, Sam and Tucker called out.

"Yeah! Come on! I'll drive us to school!" Jazz said as the quartet piled into Jazz's car, driving the 30 minutes to Middleton. They were soon met with a school that was twice the size of Casper High sporting a marquee that read 'Freshman Orientation: Assembly Required'.

"Looks like that marquee has a sense of dark humor..." Danny remarked as he, Jazz, Sam and Tucker made their way inside. However, a familiar bully spotted him immediately.

"Hey, Fentonowski!"

It was Dash Baxter - the star of basically every sports team at Hartman Middle School and now the next quarterback of the Middleton Mad Dogs.

"I don't know who exposed Casper High's dirty laundry, but I know who I'm gonna take out my frustrations about not carrying on the Baxter legacy at Casper High on! YOU!" Dash growled.

Danny gulped. Sure, Dash was scary in middle school, but usually the teachers there handled things. Here, Dash was meaner and scarier than any ghost that the halfa has fought. Dash had Danny in his grasp and was ready to shove him into his new locker, but a tall figure with fiery red hair like Jazz's flipped in and knocked Dash out.

"WHAT THE?! It's impossible!" Dash cried.

"No..." the figure replied, revealing herself to be a teenage girl, around Jazz's age. She flipped her hair, revealing that she had emerald eyes and was wearing deep brown lipstick. She was also wearing a bright green top and baggy tan jeans. "...but real close..."

"Is that..." Jazz started.

"KIM POSSIBLE?" Sam gasped.

'Kim Possible? The world famous teen hero? She goes here?' Danny thought to himself. 'Man...I think I just fell in love...'

A blush slowly crept across Danny's face as Kim landed in front of Danny, his friends and his sister. Realizing that he was outclassed, Dash ran off.

"Are you guys okay?" Kim asked. Danny was entranced at the redheaded beauty standing in front of him.

"We're fine. Thanks..." Jazz responded. "I can't believe we're in the presence of Kim Possible! Cheerleader by day, crime-stopper by night! I've followed your world-saving exploits for quite a while now! My name's Jasmine, but most just call me Jazz," Jazz introduced.

Hearing that Kim was a cheerleader peeved Sam off. "Cheerleaders..." Sam growled.

"What's with your goth friend, Jazz?" Kim asked.

"Oh, you mean Sam? She has a bit of an aversion to cheerleaders. There was one at our previous school that was so abrasive to her that Sam wanted to make like an NHL player and body check her into the lockers...which I would've loved to see," Jazz explained. She then turned to Sam. "Sam, I assure you Kim's NOTHING like Paulina. She's never fallen into that stereotype of the preppy jerk. After all, she just saved us from Dash, so she can't be all bad!"

This calmed Sam a little bit. "Oh...I guess you're right, Jazz. After all, this is Kim Possible we're talking about here, so I guess she isn't like any ordinary cheerleader," the goth girl said. "I apologize for my freak out earlier. I haven't been too keen on cheerleaders since Paulina tried to frame me for stuffing Dash's locker with junk back in 5th grade, when it was actually one of mine and Danny's old classmates - Ricky Marsh," Sam explained. "I'm Samantha Manson, everyone just calls me Sam because I hate being called Samantha. The guy with all the tech in his backpack is Tucker Foley..." she introduced before looking to Danny. "And the guy in a trance blushing with his jaw near the floor is Danny Fenton."

"So wonderful to meet you all!" Kim cheerfully said to the quartet. Danny was still in a trance as the bell rang. "Oh, there's the bell! We better get going!"

"She's right, guys...I hear one of the teachers here is a tough Marine..." Jazz said as she, Kim, Tucker and Sam walked off. Sam rushed back to grab Danny.

"Danny? Danny? Danny, snap out of it!" Sam called out. No answer.

"What's wrong with Danny?" Jazz asked Sam.

Danny was frozen, still looking at Kim. All Danny had to say was...

"I think I've fallen in love..."

Yeah...Danny's lovestruck for Kim. How will his friends (especially Sam) and sister react? More importantly, what's Kim gonna think? And what's with this Marine of a teacher? Also...who exposed the dirty secrets of Casper High? Find out next time!

Stay ghostly, my friends!
