I'm back for chapter 2 of 'When Danny Met Kim'! When last we left Danny, he had just met world famous teen hero Kim Possible and somehow fallen for her. Now he's gotta deal with a gruff, Marine of a teacher. Who is this mysterious teacher? And what is Paulina planning for Kim? Time to find out!

Danny Fenton, also known as ghost-fighting super-teen Danny Phantom, had just met fellow teen hero Kim Possible. Their first class was classic literature. But instead of Mr. Ronald Lancer, they were met by a tall, gruff Marine of a teacher. Standing about 6-foot-8, he was tall and muscular.

"Your usual literature teacher, Mr. Lancer, suffered a bizarre skydiving incident and will be out for a few weeks, so I've been asked to fill in for him. I'm Mr. Steven Barkin. I served in the Navy during the Persian Gulf War and I have zero tolerance for slackers..." he introduced as a lanky blonde and his naked mole rat charged in.

"Sorry we're late, Mr. Barkin! D-hall jerks got me caught again..." Ron explained. But Barkin was having none of it.

"Enough of your excuses, Stoppable! EXTRA HOMEWORK FOR YOU!" Barkin bellowed. "And I'll be seeing you in detention!"

"Aw, man!"

Tucker chuckled, only to get the attention of Barkin.

"FOLEY! You think my punishments are funny, do you? I'll be seeing you in detention too! And EXTRA HOMEWORK for you as well!"

"What's with him, Kim?" Sam whispered to Kim. "Why does he have it out for your friend?"

"Barkin's had it out for Ron ever since Ron shot him a funny look back in 6th grade at McCorkle Middle School..." Kim explained. "Ron thought it was just a joke, but Barkin didn't see it that way. The two have been on the outs ever since."

"That seems rather unethical for a teacher, if you ask me," remarked Jazz as Barkin took attendance.

The first lesson was on F. Scott Fitzgerald's work 'The Great Gatsby'. It was the first book they would read this semester. The bell rang after class, signaling a free period for most. But for Kim, it was cheer period.

For Kim, it was a chance to reconnect with most of her cheermates...and Bonnie Rockwaller, her cheerleading rival.

Kim scoffed at seeing the tan, teal-eyed Scottish-Latina girl "Hello, Bonnie..."

Bonnie growled at her longtime cheer rival. "Hello, Kim..."

What started the rivalry is a bit of a mystery, but the most common story is that in 6th grade, Kim tried out for cheerleading and Bonnie was judging the cheer tryouts. Bonnie had given Kim a routine 'no girl could do'. However, Kim breezed through the seemingly impossible routine without breaking a sweat and even made cheer captain that year as well.

This incensed Bonnie to no end. From that day forward, Bonnie swore that she would take Kim's position as cheer captain no matter what it took. What she didn't know is that there was another cheerleader hell-bent on taking revenge on the cheerleading teen hero.

This one was to be the captain of Casper High's cheerleading squad. But once someone outed Casper High's dirty secrets and got the school shut down, all of Casper High's cheerleaders got transferred to Middleton, where they now had to follow Kim Possible and this did not sit right with this Latina. She was wearing a pink crop top, light blue denim capris, had deep jet black hair and white flats with lavender eyeshadow and purple lipstick. Meet the reason Sam Manson can't stand cheerleaders - Paulina Sanchez.

"Possible..." Paulina growled, looking angrily at the redhead teen hero. "I don't know what you did, but I should be cheer captain at MHS...NOT YOU! And I'll stop at nothing to make sure I get what's mine. NOBODY OUTDOES PAULINA MARIA SELENE SANCHEZ! NOBODY!"

Paulina's friend and fellow cheerleader, Star Strong, placed a hand on her right shoulder to try and calm the Latina down. "Paulina, you alright, girlfriend?"

Paulina just shoved Star aside. "Shut it, Strong! I don't care what people say about Kim Possible! I don't care if she's a world-famous teen hero! She took the cheer captain position that was rightfully mine! Now I want revenge!"

This got the attention of Bonnie Rockwaller. "Did I just hear someone say they want revenge on Kim Possible?"

"I do...and you are?"

"Bonnie Rockwaller...I've wanted Kim's spot as captain since she did the impossible routine I set up for her at her cheer tryout years ago," Bonnie explained.

Paulina smiled "I want revenge on her for taking the cheer captain spot that should've been mine...until someone got Casper High School shut down!"

Bonnie cackled and took Paulina's hand. "I believe this could be the start of a wonderfully evil friendship..."

"Oh no...I gotta warn Kim!" Star said to herself as Kim was trying out a pair of new recruits - Amanda Lopez and Melissa Chase, fresh out of Jefferson County Middle School in neighboring Danville.

By 9:30 AM, cheer period was over and the squad (outside of Bonnie and Paulina) had determined that Melissa and Amanda had both made the squad. Once back inside the locker room, Sam was the first to greet Kim as she, Danny and Tucker had Tetslaf for 3rd period gym.

"How was cheer period, Kim?" Sam asked cheerfully.

"It was alright, Sam," Kim replied with a smile. "However...there was one girl who seemed to have it out for me and no, it wasn't Bonnie this time. I'll tell you about Bonnie at lunch period."

Sam knew exactly who she was talking about and growled. "Paulina Sanchez. She's the reason I have an aversion to cheerleaders. Had no one spoken up about Casper High, she would've been cheer captain of that squad. She might know that you're cheer captain here and might be planning to overthrow you. Be careful!", the goth warned.

Kim nodded and replied, "I'll keep my eyes peeled. Thanks, Sam!"

Little did the new friends know, Paulina had overheard this from the showers. While shaving her legs, Paulina growled "She associates with that Goth loser Manson? That must mean she also hangs out with Fenton and Foley...and Fenton has had an obvious crush on me since middle school. Maybe Bonnie and I can use that to our advantage..." she said to herself. "But now that Manson has warned Possible about me, that redheaded vigilante will have it out for me more than ever. One false move and it's game over. Bonnie and I will have to be cautious if we want to get at Possible and Fenton..."

It was barbecue day at lunch period. Sam, of course, had brought her own vegetarian bag lunch from home. But Danny and Tucker (especially Danny), had gone for the whole spread...only for Danny to be nailed by barbecue ribs thrown by Dash Baxter.

"FENTON! I was supposed to be the high school football star, just like my dad was! But because someone leaked Casper High's secrets, I can't! But I know who I can take my frustrations out on!" Dash bellowed.

What he didn't expect was for a certain redheaded teen hero to roundhouse him to the ground.

"But...but that's impossible!"

"No..." Kim teased, flipping her hair. "But real close..."

Dash was shocked that he would be on the receiving end of a brutal takedown. "Hey...you're that cheerleader from earlier..." Dash said in awe. "I'm Dash Baxter - quarterback, hottie, top of the social food chain..."

Kim quickly pushed him aside. "You're also a no-good arrogant jerkwad who attacks people just because you feel like it. I may be a cheerleader, but I don't go for the stereotypes of having nerds do my homework or dating jocks. And I certainly don't take too kindly when people attack my friends..." Kim warned, grabbing Dash's shirt. "You got that, punk?"

This scared Dash, with his inner circle - Kwan, Paulina and Star - looking on at one table; Danny, Sam, Tucker, Jazz and Ron looking on at another.

"Y-Yes...M-Miss Possible..." Dash cowered.

"Good. Now scram, you football scumbag!" Kim shouted, shoving Dash back to his table.

Looking at this, Sam gave a grin. "Alright...I so like this girl!"

Jazz cheerfully giggled "Told ya she was cool, Sam!"

"I know...didn't believe it at first, but Kim totally put Dash in his place!"

Jazz then looked at her brother. "By the way, Danny...I'm on to you..."

Danny froze "What do you mean, Jazz?"

"The awkwardness, stuttering, blushing...you have a crush on Kim!"

Nothing got by Jazz. She was a straight A student, likely destined for an Ivy League college. Danny had to save face. He thought up a lie and he thought it up quick.

"What?! That's crazy! We just met her, Jazz!"

Jazz giggled "Sure...believe what you want, Danny. But I can read you like a book."

Ron looked to Danny, then back at Kim. "Danny? Crushing on Kim? That is SICK AND WRONG!" the blonde shouted. "By the way, Danny...what's this I hear about you being half-ghost?"

Danny gulped. Ron was on to his secret and the two had just met. Not only is his crush on Kim out in the open but soon his superhero secret may be out too...
