Me: WELCOME BACK! Today is Sunday, March 21. Alright, we've got a question for Zac. It's, "What caused you to start your singing career?"
Zac: *leaning back* Honestly, I've been waiting for someone to ask this.
Wakiya: …rlly?
Zac: mhm. It's an interesting story.
Everyone but Lui, Suoh, and Phi (who is still in his cage): *tunes in for the story*
Zac: *dramatically* …it all started when I was but a wee lil' kid~
Silas: *interrupts* omygod, can you just tell the story straight?
Zac: *wryly* fine. *said with distaste*
Zac: *sigh* okay. *a bit less dramatic* As I was saying… It all started when I was but a wee kid~
Shu: *to Silas* honestly, it's his style. Sorry, but you just gotta deal with it.
Zac: Long ago,,, in a town deep in London that was filled with silence, there was… me *flips hair*.
Wakiya: *shaking head* oh god.
Zac: I was the sunshine in the town's darkness~ I was the starlight to its shadowy grimness. I was the music to its piercing silence~~~
Honcho: *elbows on table, head resting in hands* *stars in eyes*
Phi: *scoffs*
Zac: In my soundless town, it was always me who delivered a melody. I would play instruments and sing from my soul to cure their broken lives…
Lui (thought): *glaring at Zac, annoyed* …you're not curing anything with that story…
Zac: All my peers would embrace my musical beauty and show me that I was destined for greatness. And so I traveled far and made it to Japan, where people immediately recognized my potential and put me on a stage, where my fame began~ from there, I only got better and better until I became what you see today~
Honcho: *claps enthusiastically*
Silas: *groan* that was painful.
…
Free: *studying Zac* …That's not the real story, is it?
Zac: what? No, that's the truth!
Free: *positive now* No, you're lying.
Zac: …
Silas: oh? *interested*
Wakiya: *looks at Zac* Was that… *imitating Zac's accent:* nothing but a fine-tuned hyperbole?
Zac: *sitting lower in chair*
Daigo: What's the real story?
Zac: …fine… Fine! Okay. So here's the truth… *shifts uncomfortably*
Zac: …
Zac: …when I was a kid, I was actually really shy.
Everyone: *truly surprised*
Zac: …I had difficulty making friends— *sees Silas and Wakiya smirking* YES, OKAY. JUST ACCEPT IT FOR WHAT IT IS. Anyway, I struggled in school, until I heard of the Choir club. I joined and finally started to… use my voice.
Everyone: …
Zac: You see, I had always loved music as a child— that part wasn't a lie. I joined, and I realized that I loved singing for people. I loved the crowd. I loved the attention. So, I practiced day and night, and I eventually got pretty good.
Zac: After that, I moved onto the big leagues. I tried out in the town's music contest, and kept moving on until I made it to the country competition. From there, my teacher convinced me to try out for this enormous talent show. And miraculously, I won first place.
Zac: And so my career began. I got put on stage after stage until I became… well… Zac the Sunrise.
*silence*
Honcho: *wiping tears* THAT WAS… THAT WAS BEAUUUTTIIFUUUU-HU-HU-HU-HULLLLLLLL!
Silas: *looking at Honcho like he's crazy*
Wakiya: … *secretly actually liked the story because it relates to his own life (yes, Wakiya had a hard time making friends, believe it or not)*
Zac: So that's my story. NOW YOU BETTER NOT TELL ANYONE THIS. AND I MEAN ALL OF YOU.
