Searching In Yakyakistan - Part 2:

Twilight's Electricity and Air Powers

After Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie have taken down a few soldiers of the Dark Army, they continued on their quest to rescue the two guardians However, as they began to move on, they saw a big Ape Commander lifting his weapon up and creating a blue fire barrier in front of them.

"Are you kidding me? Now, what do we do?" Rainbow Dash complained, crossing her arms.

Thinking carefully, Twilight looked around until she saw another catapult and a few more of those big snowballs. Then she looked ahead and passed the barrier and saw a pile of dynamite and an idea came to her.

"I got it! Pinkie, come and help me move this into the catapult," Twilight said to Pinkie as they both pushed and loaded the snowball into the catapult and then launched it over the barrier and right into the pile of dynamite. The Apes saw the dynamite landed and had its fuse close to the end and panicked.

When the dynamite exploded, the explosion scattered the soldiers everywhere, defeating them and the Commander in the process. And the barrier disappeared, allowing the heroes to move on. But their work was not done yet, as another Commander came and blocked their path with another blue fire barrier.

"Oh, come on! Again?!" Rainbow groaned as two more Ape Creatures came running and four more were jumping through the air and landed.

Twilight, Rainbow, and Pinkie managed to defeat them as some of them were throwing stickers of dynamite at them but the Mane 3 managed to dodge them and even kicked them away. But they aren't done yet. Flying above the air were giant Bat-like creatures holding what looked like crates and dropped them as they exploded, revealing more Ape Creatures, five of them.

Twilight used her magic bombs to scatter them apart, Rainbow created a medium-sized twister to suck up two soldiers into it, and Pinkie was using electricity to shock and zap them. After defeating them, the Mane 3 saw the Ape Commander hooting and hollering before retreating as the barrier dissolves.

"Yeah, you better run!" Pinkie called to the commander, shaking his hoof.

After the barrier had dissolved, Twilight then ran in front of them, "Come on! He might know where the guardians are!" She said as they chased down the commander. But as they continued to follow, flapping was heard and a shadow was seen looming over them.

"You girls think that might be Slash?" Spike asked, knowing who was flying over them.

"I sure hope so," Twilight answered.

"Wait, 'hope so'? Why would you say that, Twilight?" Pinkie asked in shock.

"Well, if it wasn't, it means there could be more than one evil Alicorn around here," Twilight explained in worry as flying high above them, and leaving Yakyakistan, Slash was flying off somewhere as he lets out a demonic whinny.

"Oh yeah, I hope that was Slash too," Rainbow Dash agreed, hoping it was only Slash here.

Meanwhile, the Ape Commander from earlier was standing on a platform hollering and retreated as a blue fire barrier appeared and barrels started rolling down towards the Mane 3 and Spike. Luckily for them, the barrel exploded on a barrier, keeping them safe. Twilight, Pinkie, and Rainbow knew they have to do something to stop those bombs.

"We gotta stop these bombs from rollin'," Twilight told her friends as she looked behind herself and saw more big snowballs on the ground near the tree, with armored yak trolls scouting around the area.

The Mane 3 handled them with ease and after that scuffle, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were handling the Ape Creatures while Twilight and Spike managed to push the snowball into the catapult and launched it right to where bombs were coming from and…

Once again…

KA-BOOM!

"Come on!" Spike called to the mares, With the bombs demolished and the barrier gone, The Mane 3 and Spike continued on their way to find Voltwing and Storm Heart. That is until they came across a small tower where they saw three armored yak trolls coming out and charging towards them. But above, a thundering cyclone beam appeared from above and blasted towards the Mane 3 and Spike. More specifically toward Twilight.

"Watch out!" Spike yelled, holding up his hand.

"Take Cover!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she, Spike, and Pinkie ducked out of the way.

Twilight couldn't move out of the way fast enough and the cyclone have already hit Twilight right on her horn as she fell backward on her rump and became a little dizzy from feeling the force of two different powers surging through her body. The armored yak trolls kept on charging as Rainbow, Pinkie, and Spike approached her, wondering if she's alright.

"Twilight, are you alright?" Spike asked.

Twilight shook her body as she then felt a funny feeling, "Hehehe, Th-that, that tickles," She chuckled at something unknown tickling her. Then, as Twilight started bursting out laughing, her horn was starting to glow yellow, and then suddenly, zaps of electricity shot out and zapping the yak trolls knocking them out cold.

"She looks okay to me," Pinkie assured, recognizing the electricity magic.

"Don't count on it yet. Look," Rainbow pointed as more armored yak trolls came running towards them.

But then Twilight smirked as her horn started glowing again, but gray this time, as it sent a huge gust of hurricane-strong winds right at them blowing them away and over the cliff to their doom.

"Eeyup. She's okay," Spike commented.

"Whoa! Twilight, that was awesome!" Rainbow cheered, recognizing Twilight using wind magic this time.

"How in Equestria did you learn how to use Electricity and Air like that so fast?" Pinkie asked, in shock and surprise.

Twilight raised a brow and rubbed her chin in confusion, "I don't know, Pinkie. After I was hit by that lightning cyclone, I felt like the elements they were connected to just woke up those elemental powers inside me," Twilight guessed.

"Well, whatever it was, I have a feeling that electric and wind magic might come in handy for us saving Storm Heart and Voltwing," Rainbow Dash suggested.

"And maybe, they might help you master your new powers, Twilight," Pinkie suggested.

"After we rescue them, of course. So which way is the nearest to the interior mountain?" Twilight asked, wondering which way they should go.

"This way, come on," Rainbow Dash said, pointing in the direction of the fortresses as she flew off with Twilight, Pinkie, and Spike following her.
