Chapter 16:
Training Continues
Twilight, Spike, Storm Heart, and Voltwing entered the training room, while Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash all hung back as they looked through the pool of vision to find the other guardians before Slash could power any more of those glowing orbs.
After Twilight, Spike, Storm Heart, and Voltwing entered the training room, the Alicorn Statue suddenly began to lower down once again and became nothing but a training dojo.
"Now, Electricity is the spark of life, Twilight," Voltwing stated.
"And Wind is the delivery system of all life. Now listen and listen well, because what we're about to teach you has always been a secret," Storm Heart said.
The statue kept on lowering and lowering until it finally disappeared and suddenly became a dojo again as training dummies appeared once more.
"Now, Twilight. You must use your electrical magic not only to zap your enemies but also to throw them off as well. Use one of the dummies and throw them into the props, that will shatter them into pieces." Voltwing instructed the young alicorn princess.
Targets then started to appear behind the dummies, and as Voltwing was instructing her, Twilight then used her electrical magic and then started throwing them towards the targets, shattering them in the process.
"You have grasped the concept well. Excellent work, Twilight," Voltwing said, as he was very amazed and impressed by her quick learning adaptability.
"Now is the time to move onto Wind. Twilight, I want you to chase after the dummies, and when they are within range, blow them away with your wind magic. Remember, defeat them all away before they try to attack you." Storm Heart instructed.
Five more dummies suddenly appeared out of nowhere within the dojo, and when they were all within her range, Twilight shot her Wind Magic at them, and one by one they started to fall from her attacks. Seeing that there were only two more to go, Twilight then hit them with all the Wind Magic she could conjure up. When that happened the dummies were caught up in a small tornado and after being swirled around a bit, they were soon blown away, and defeated.
"Well done young Alicorn, well done, it looks like you have the power of a Wind Alicorn in you after all." Storm Heart said, feeling greatly impressed.
"Now Twilight, I want you to try to throw an Electricity Arc at the dummy. This will entrap them while in the air. Then I want you to run up to them and jump up to it and proceed to melee the dummy." Voltwing explained.
One medium-sized dummy appeared on the dojo out of nowhere just like the others as Twilight flew towards it and zapped it with a bolt of electricity into the air. Then she jumped up and melee the dummy to the ground in defeat.
"Who needs skills without practice? Well done, Twilight, Well done indeed." Voltwing congratulated the young alicorn.
"Now, Twilight, I want you to throw a Wind Arc at the fleeing enemies and then melee them when they're caught in an air cage. Use it, and you will be able to defeat all the dummies in this dojo at once." Storm Heart instructed as Twilight nodded.
Five more sets of dummies appeared out of nowhere just like the others before them in the dojo as Twilight sends some balls of wind and air toward each one of them. Which resulted in an exploding hurricane wind force. Once they hit the dummies, Twilight jumps up and melees them with her aerial combat skills until every last one of the dummies was demolished.
"Celestia will be most pleased with you and your skills, Twilight." Storm Heart complimented.
"I agree as well with you on that, Storm Heart." Voltwing agreed with the silver mare, "You have done well, young one, done well indeed,".
"Now, Twilight, you must prepare yourself for all that you have learned. For your last exercise today, you will learn how to unleash and combine the Electrical Magic Fury Attack…" Voltwing declared.
"...And the Wind Magic Fury Attack at the same time." Storm Heart added.
"Okay, so how do I do it?" Twilight asked, raising a brow.
"After you defeat the small dummies, to defeat the larger dummies, you'll have to fuel all the Wind and Electric magic that flows through and consume you…," Storm Heart explained.
"And when the time is just about right, unleash it into a Wind Fury Attack and Electricity Fury Attack," Voltwing explained further to Twilight.
Four small dummies appeared and surrounded Twilight. Just before they could attack her, she quickly used her Electricity Magic to zap and defeated them. Then three more dummies appeared and before they could attack her as the previous ones did, Twilight then switched to Wind Magic and sent the dummies spinning in the air and melees them. More dummies then appeared in the dojo and Twilight continued to switch from Wind Magic to Electricity Magic and back to Wind Magic again.
After defeating all the small dummies, the larger dummies suddenly appeared in the dojo and surrounded the young purple Alicorn. But fueling all the Electric Magic that she could muster as it flowed and consumed her, Twilight rose up again as a yellow strand of light started to form around her and a ball of yellow electric light appeared below her and…
BOOM!
Twilight had just unleashed her first Electrical Magic Fury Attack.
But she wasn't done yet, because as more larger dummies started to appear in the dojo and surrounded her, she quickly switched her magic. Twilight then focused on fueling all the Wind Magic and rises up again and this time a gray swirl of wind appeared around her and a sphere of wind appeared below her and…
BOOM!
Twilight had just unleashed her first Wind Magic Fury Attack. Two Fury Magic Attacks in one training session.
"Your training for today has been complete, Twilight." Voltwing congratulated.
"Yes, but you did an excellent job unleashing those Fury Attacks, just like Rainbow Dash and Pinkie." Storm Heart added.
After Twilight's training was done once, the Statue again slowly rose back up again and got back into position as the three Alicorns and Dragon headed back to the pool of vision to join up with the others.
