Ash, who aims to battle the World Monarch, Leon, and Goh, who plans to catch every Pokemon to work his way up to Mew, this is the story of their lovelife and adventures.

Goh POV:

Goh awoke today to a magnificent sight, Ash still wrapped up in string, asleep. Goh looked at him, and gave him a kiss on his cheek which by Ash's facial expression, he seemed to enjoy it, which made Goh happy, only thing is that who was kissing Ash in his dream, if he was even dreaming, was a mystery. Goh continued to look at this sleeping beauty of a victim, then went back to sleep. He woke up a few hours later, to find that Ash had woken up too, and was staring at him with frustration, which Goh found adorable. Ash's expression, his puffed up cheeks, as well as the situation he was in at the moment. Goh quickly pulled up his Rotom Phone and recorded him in that state, which made Ash even more angry and embarassed, as he now started trying to twist and turn to get away from the camera recording him, but only ended up making himself cuter in Goh's eyes and to the camera recording him. "Cut it out!" Ash said annoyed, which was like music to Goh's ears. "You seem to be having fun there" said Goh, teasingly. The funniest part, is that Goh then saw Ash take a moment to consider if he was actually having fun, and then Ash responded with "Maybe, but my back hurts from sleeping like this". "Well then, don't sleep. It'll melt in two hours" Said Goh, who then made his way down the bed and out of the room. "Hey wait Goh! Don't leave me here!" said Ash, but Goh ignored him and left the room anyways. The idea of Ash struggling in there to escape for two hours was wonderful to him, and he left his phone there to record it, so that when Ash got down, Goh would have the video to look at.

Ash POV:

Ash was worried, as the string that was keeping him captured was starting to melt, which was good, but the string that was hanging him by the ceiling was also melting, and Ash would be dropped on the floor there to wiggle around like a worm. Meanwhile, Ash's partner, Pikachu, was staring at him, laughing at Ash's expense. "Hey Pikachu, you're lucky I don't have a bug type on me otherwise you'd regret saying that" said Ash to try and stop Pikachu from laughing, but due to Ash's situation at the moment, Pikachu only laughed more. Ash was about to open his mouth to say something else, but then the string hanging him melted and he fell on the floor, which unkowingly to him, Goh's Rotom Phone was recording. He then wiggled around to try and get out of the door, but it looks like Goh had locked it, and Ash couldn't reach up to get the key. "Hey Pikachu could you-" Ash started to say, but then stopped himself after seeing Pikachu's expression of a clear no. "Fine then, if you really like seeing me crawl and wiggle around like this, I guess I have no choice but to just do that for the time until I escape this" he said, which clearly made Pikachu happy. Ash couldn't understand why that made Pikachu happy, as he never seemed that way before, but he just started doing as he was told instead of thinking.

Goh POV:

Goh spent the morning with the researchers of the Lab doing activities, so if Ash screamed no one would hear him, as he was now trapped with Pikachu, who agreed to help Goh in his quest to put Ash in embarassing situations. Right now, Goh and everyone else were outside, doing Kung Fu excercises with Mr. Mime. That was, until Goh heard Ash say 'Goh!". He thought next up he would hear Ash be mad at him about the whole tying-him-up-in-string situation, but Ash instead continued with "Let's go to the Hoenn region!". Goh was relieved Ash was an idiot, as it seemed he already forgot about the whole situation, and wanted to go battling, in the Battle Frontier Tournament held at the Hoenn Region. They both got their bags, Pokemon, and left.

Ash POV:

Ash already forgot about today's morning, and instead wanted to go compete in Hoenn's Battle Frontier Tournament, to test his skills. Ash and his friend Goh got on the plane, which was a 24 hour flight. To pass the time, Goh suggested they watched movies. Ash was ecstatic to watch some action movies, but it seemed all the movies there were romantic, which Ash wasn't really into, but it seemed Goh was, so he watched them with him and pretended he enjoyed them.

Goh POV:

Goh hid all the movie tapes from the collection, except for the romantic ones. He wanted to see how Ash felt about romance, so they watched romantic movies for the entire trip there. Something unexpected happened however, when at some point Ash asked Goh "Goh?" "Yeah?" "Do you love anyone?". Goh was shocked to be put in the spot like this, with how direct and unexpected Ash was. Obviously Goh loved Ash, but he couldn't tell him. "Not really..". "Oh, because you seemed to enjoy watching these" "Oh I do, obviously, but it's not because I love anyone, I like seeing other people fall in love" lied Goh. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Goh asked "Ash.. do you love anyone?" "Nope". Goh was surprised to see how quickly Ash responded, and how genuinely he said it. The good thing is that Ash wasn't in love with anyone else, but the bad thing was that he wasn't with Goh yet, either. "Do you enjoy watching these romance films?" asked Goh. "Yeah of course!" said Ash, which Goh figured to be a lie to make Goh happy, which he at least appreciated. "What do you like about them?" Goh asked. "The truth is, I've never been in love with anyone" Ash said. "These movies however, make me feel as if I might find someone who loves me and I love too" he continued. This time, he was telling the truth. Goh recognized the tone in his voice. 'Trust me Ash, your love is sitting next to you' Goh said in his thoughts.

Ash POV:

After about 23 hours of watching romance movies, Ash actually started enjoying them, and wished someday he would find love too. Truth be told, he knew many girls who liked him, but for no reason, Ash never found himself caring for any of them as more than 'just a friend'. His thought process was interrrupted however, when the plane finally landed, and he and Goh were in Hoenn. "Who did you enter?" Goh asked Ash as they were on their way. Ash understood why Goh asked, as this was a 2v2 tournament, and Ash only had Pikachu. That's when Ash pulled out a surprise, and opened a Pokeball, which out came Mr. Mime.

Goh POV:

Mr. Mime? Really? That felt like a weird pick to Goh, but whatever. Ash then asked Goh who he entered, which Goh answered with "Scorbunny and Scyther". He wanted his Scyther to get stronger, as unfortunately it had not yet learned the move False Swipe, which Goh wanted. Goh then however saw a Taillow flying, and started chasing after it, leaving Ash behind. A taillow was similar to a Pidgey, and he had an idea of those two picking up Ash by the shoulders, then doing funny moves with him in the air, while Goh recorded. He loved the idea, and thankfully for him, his Pokeball landed correctly, and he caught Taillow, which was his first Hoenn Pokemon. 1/135. Continuing his search, Goh found a Mightyena, an aggressive Pokemon. Goh thought this was perfect, as it would most likely attack Ash, without even being commanded, and could get him in some funny situations. Goh chased after the Mightyena, only to unfortunately find out it was owned by a Pokemon Trainer named Hodge. Even worse for Goh, Hodge was sitting next to Ash talking on a bench. Goh was worried what would happen if Hodge felt the same feelings Goh felt towards Ash. Usually he would chalk it up to them talking about battles, but after the romance movies, where Ash stated he wanted to find love, Goh was worried Hodge was the one he found. Especially since Hodge started teasing Goh, similar to the way Goh teased Ash. This made Goh mad, as well as Scorbunny, who went to kick Hodge, only to be stopped by his Mightyena who growled at Scorbunny. With a kick ready, Scorbunny figured Goh would enjoy Ash's butt being kicked, so Scorbunny turned around and did so. As always, Goh looked over towards Ash's bouncing butt, a sight he always loved watching, and afterwards he looked back at Hodge to find that he hadn't looked over. That was a good sign, as it meant he wasn't interested in Ash. But then Goh's paranoia kicked in. What if he was, but didn't like teasing Ash this way? What if Ash liked the way Hodge would treat him more than Goh? Goh felt frightened. And then, the matchups for the tournament came out, and Goh's first opponent was Hodge. Goh realized that since Ash loved battles so much, if Goh gave him a good battle and beat Hodge, Ash would fall for him. And so it was on, a battle for Ash's love. When the battle started, Hodge sent out his Mightyena. Goh sent out his Scyther, who has a type advantage. This would be great for Goh's first ever official battle. Obviously, Goh wanted to hit hard, so he started by boosting Scyther's attack with Swords Dance. Then it was Hodge's turn, and Scyther went down in just one attack. This was bad. Goh looked over at Ash, and could tell he was dissapointed by Goh's performance. Goh then sent out his starter, Scorbunny. Scorbunny went to attack with Double Kick, then fell victim to a Snarl Attack, and fainted. In front of the love of his life and an entire audience, Goh showed just how much of a loser he is in battling, and how great Hodge is. Ash and Goh rushed to the Pokemon Center, to get Goh's Pokemon healed. Goh felt ashamed. That Ash could never love him back. So he ran away, but before he left the door, Ash told him one thing. "Goh, you will be there for my battle, won't you?". Ash sounded desperate for Goh to stay, and Goh realized that even if Ash didn't love him, he would always be his friend. Goh walked out the door, and went to catch Pokemon. He searched through the forest, and had one particular Pokemon he was looking out for. Wurmple. He loved when he tied Ash in string, and wanted to do that again, but differently. He wanted to subject Ash as victim to all forms of String Shot trapping. But Caterpie and Weedle weren't enough to do it without Ash escaping in some way. And with one Wurmple joining them, it still would not have been enough. However, Wurmple has a random split evolution. He could get multiple Wurmple, and no one would question him as to why, when in reality he would just want to enjoy Ash trapped like a bug in a Spider's web, with Goh being the proud spider looking over at his cute victim. Goh searched around for a long time, and managed to find 3 Wurmple, before he looked at the time and realized Ash's match was upcoming. With his newly caught Wurmple however, he was now at 2/135 for the Hoenn PokeDex. Definitely some good results. Goh hurried over to Ash's match, and saw him using Mr. Mime against Hodge's Hariyama. Ash's battles were something else. Mr. Mime had Psychic moves, which Ash used to his full advantage, trapping Hariyama in a Barrier and moving it around with Psychic. Goh wished he had a Psychic type too, being able to trap Ash and make him do all sorts of embarassing stuff and movement while his cute face begged Goh to let him go would be precious. Hariyama went down, and out came Mightyena. The same Pokemon that defeated Goh and made him look like a loser. And to make matters worse, Mr. Mime refused to battle any further, and Ash was left with Pikachu only. Ash's Pikachu was strong, but so was Mightyena. The battle went on and on, and at one point they even made a hole in the ceiling. Goh knew however that the battle ended, when Mightyena threw Pikachu with great force and speed towards the ceiling hole. Pikachu would go through it, fall down, and faint. However, Ash's strategy was something brilliant Goh could never expect from an idiot like him. Ash told Pikachu to use Electroweb on the hole, and Pikachu then launched back and defeated Mightyena with a full powered Iron Tail. Ash had won, and Goh couldn't be prouder of his love.

Ash POV:

After beating his opponent, Hodge, he and Goh went to the plane for a ride back. "Another 24 hour ride, huh?" Ash said to Goh, tired. "Yeah.. Hey, wanna watch some action movies? I thought it would be fitting after your match!" said Goh. "Actually... I'm more in the mood for another romance movie" Ash told Goh, which seemed to make him happy. "Well, which one do you wanna watch?" asked Goh. "How about this one?" Ash said and then picked a gay romance movie. "Why that one?" Asked Goh, in a state of both confusion and excitement. The truth is that Ash picked that one for two reasons. The first being that he noticed since yesterday, that all the people who were interested in him were girls, and when he found out they liked him he was flattered, but he didn't feel anything in return. Ash wanted to explore his own sexuality to see if he was truly gay or not. The second is that he suspected Goh was gay, as when they watched all the other romance movies the previous plane flight, Ash noticed Goh only ever looked at the man, barely ever the woman. "I don't know, I just figured we'd try something different!" lied Ash.

Goh POV:

Goh was ecstatic. Obviously he knew Ash wasn't interested in him at the moment, but the possibility of Ash being gay made him happy. He had a chance. But he knew he could never confess as long as they were in the Cerise Laboratory as research fellows. Until then, he would have to enjoy putting Ash in helpless situations. Speaking of those, when they got back to their dorm, Ash told Goh "Man, I'm so ready to get to bed!". "You are, aren't you?" said Goh with a look on his face that made Ash uncomfortable. By the look on his face, Goh knew Ash had just remembered the String Shot incident. "You're... not gonna do that again are you?" said Ash, worried. Goh loved that expression on his face, and to make Ash worry more, he kept staring at Ash for a few seconds, which only made him worry more. Then Goh stopped staring and sent out his Caterpie, which used String Shot to cover Ash's mouth, making him unable to speak. Then, he sent out Weedle, and with Caterpie they pulled back Ash's hands when he tried to remove the string, and tied them behind his back. Ash tried to run, but the bugs used String Shot to grab his legs, making him fall on the floor, then tied them up too. Goh loved seeing Ash panic like that, and was recording the whole thing. He then sent out his 3 wurmple, and together with the Caterpie, instead of wrapping Ash in String, this time they instead made a small cage of webbing and put Ash inside, then hanged the cage on the ceiling, right next to Goh, so he could look at his cute, helpless victim while sleeping.
