Ash, who aims to defeat the World Monarch, Leon, and Goh, who dream of catching every Pokemon to work his wag up to Mew, this is the story of their lovelife and adventures.

Goh's POV:

Goh was determined. He had not managed to prank Ash in any way since their week long trip to Unova, which was months ago. He knew that today would have to be the day where he got back on the Mudsdale, and trapped Ash in another one of his "sticky situations" as he liked to call them. He decided he'd go catch plenty of Pokemon that day, so he started off by training Scorbunny with Ash so it could fight stronger opponents. Scorbunny battled against Ash's Pikachu, in training, where Pikachu used Quick Attack and Scorbunny met it with a Double Kick, Goh's favorite move that Scorbunny knew. He recalled back to the first time he met Scorbunny, where it used Double Kick to hit Ash's butt, sending Ash floating for a few seconds while Goh could see his adorable butt jiggle up and down. Goh decided that if all else went awry, he'd have to resort back to that strategy tonight to torment Ash. Then however, something no one could have expected happened. Goh's Darmanitan walked in, and made fun of Scorbunny for not knowing any fire type moves, which made Scorbunny angry. It tried to use an Ember to prove it wrong, but it ended just making an incredibly small fire light instead. Darmanitan looked at it for a second, then burst into laughter as Scorbunny stood there dazed, in defeat. After that, Scorbunny kept trying to learn a fire type move, with Ash helping it, and Darmanitan ridiculing it. Goh's childhood friend and daughter of Professor Cerise, Chloe, walked in to look at what was happening. "You should stop" Goh told Scorbunny, who was clearly tired after all that effort. "That's enough" Goh continued. Darmanitan simply just laughed and walked off, making Scorbunny mad, who started chasing it in the process. "Stop, Scorbunny!" Goh told his Pokemon. "Your Quick Attack and Double Kick have gotten really strong! It doesn't matter if you can't use a Fire move". Goh couldn't imagine using a powerful fire type move on Ash like that, due to the possible danger, of burning Ash's outfit. As previously mentioned, Goh didn't want to see Ash in his full glory unless they were together, and Goh wasn't planning on risking such a thing. Not just that, an attack like that could only happen inside the lab, as otherwise the outside world might see what Ash looked like, and Goh wanted to keep that part of Ash to himself, not let it open for the world to see. Even more so, Goh liked attacking Ash with his Pokemon's moves because it made Ash embarrassed, which in Goh's eyes made him cuter, if Ash himself or his clothes were burned, Ash would be too busy with that to give Goh the satisfaction of his adorable expressions. Goh by no means would let his Scorbunny do any of those things to him, and wanted to get Scorbunny to appreciate the attacks it already has instead. "It seems Scorbunny doesn't agree with you" Ash told Goh. "Well.. you can't do what you can't do" Goh said slightly nervous, trying to justify his decision to his friends who had no idea of his true intentions. Scorbunny turned at Goh and started furiously stomping the ground and walked away, chasing after Darmanitan. After that, the two boys and one girl went inside the lab to eat breakfast. "Goh, you're heading into the city to catch Pokemon today, right?" Ash asked Goh. "Yeah" Goh said, laughing to himself from inside, as he knew Ash had no idea what Goh was planning to do to him. "Is catching Pokemon fun?" Chloe asked. "It's super fun!" Ash assured her. "You should come with us!" He offered, his silly mouth still stuffed with food. "No thanks" Chloe denied. Goh loved seeing his two friends, Ash being more of a "friend" in quotation marks, interact like that, he felt as if it was himself he was seeing cut up into two people and turned onto the extreme. Goh stopped thinking of that however, when he saw Scorbunny wasn't with Pikachu and Yamper, and instead still at the Cerise park, trying to learn a fire move. "Don't worry, it will come back!" Ash told Goh, when the two boys had made their way down to the city so Goh could catch some Pokemon. Goh heard a sound from behind him, and turned around to see Scorbunny came back to him, smiling. "Thank goodness! All right, let's go catch some Pokemon!" Goh said, and together with Ash continued on their way. "I can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon we'll find!" Ash said. 'You'll wish you had waited Ash' Goh thought to himself, silently giggling at what he would do to Ash if everything went to plan. The two boys split up and searched all around Vermillion City. From alleyways, to the seas, to high up in the tall buildings, to the streets, to the parks, they found absolutely nothing. "There's nothing around.." Goh said to himself in frustration, as things were going as badly as possible. "I thought we'd at least find a Pidgey or something right off the bat". Goh would appreciate any Pokemon. With almost any Pokemon he could find some use, some clever idea to torment Ash with. Yet the universe gave him nothing at all. Then he felt Scorbunny tap his shoulder. "What is it Scorbunny?" Goh said annoyed, as he was looking at his phone to see what Pokemon were nearby. Scorbunny tapped his shoulder again. "Hang on, I'm looking up what Pokemon are in this area". Scorbunny hissed at something, and Goh looked over to see that a Pelliper was sitting right beside him and Scorbunny! That couldn't be more perfect, he could think of so many things to do to Ash with just that one Pokemon! He got ready to command Scorbunny to attack it... until Scorbunny decided to use "Ember" again and just made another small light of flame, letting the Pelliper fly away. "What are you doing, Scorbunny?!" Goh was furious, the perfect opportunity and Scorbunny just wasted it right in front of his eyes. "After it!" He said as he started chasing it, Scorbunny following right behind him. "I can't believe we found a wild Pelliper..." Goh said in disbelief, as something like that is extremely rare and unlikely to occur. "We gotta catch it!" He continued, as the two kept chasing after the white and blue bird. Eventually after a long chase, the two ended up next to a large box thing, with no sight of Pelliper anywhere. "We lost it..." Goh said, exhausted and disappointed that he missed this golden opportunity to score. "I just don't have any catching luck today..." Goh said devastated. He had no idea what he did wrong to deserve this. He couldn't even find something as weak as a pidgey or a rattata. "What's this?" He said as he looked at the large, transparent box, which he found had a door, and a green machine inside of it. Before he could do anything however, the floor started lowering, like a secret platform or something, until it suddenly fell down and full speed, letting Goh fall on top of.. Team Rocket? "What? What?" Goh heard them asking in confusion. Suddenly, the three people assisted by the three Pokemon inside a cramped box filled the space and had nowhere to move whatsoever, until the door gave way and they fell out all at the same time. "W-Why'd you come out from under that box?" Goh asked, panting for breath. "I-It's not a box! It's a phone booth!" Jesse corrected him. "Phone? Booth?" Goh asked, having no idea what one is. "He doesn't know, meow!" Meowth said, as if it was common knowledge. "Kids these days don't know what phone booths are, meow!" "I told you didn't I? This is way too conspicuous an entrance to our base" James told Meowth. "What?! You've got a base under here?!" Goh asked them, in shock. "Why, where did you get that from?!" James asked in response, trying to cover up what he said prior. "It's too late now, James" Jessie informed her comrade. "Let's get him!" She said, and suddenly their gacha machine dropped from the sky, as the pulled out a Poliwrath and a Chewtle to attack Goh with, at the same time Ash arrived to help out. "You okay?" Ash asked Goh. "Yeah" Goh assured him. Chewtle used a Water Gun attack against Scorbunny, so Goh commanded it to dodge and use Double Kick. Instead, Scorbunny refused to listen, and tried to use Ember instead, miserably failing yet again, before getting blasted by Chewtle's super effective attack, taking out Scorbunny in one hit. "Well done, Chewtle!" Goh heard Team Rocket celebrate, before getting blasted off by Ash's Pikachu using Thunderbolt. "That Chewtle was really strong" Ash told Goh, who was holding the fainted Scorbunny in his hands. Thankfully, Scorbunny managed to wake up. "Are you okay Scorbunny?" Goh asked it, Scorbunny nodding in response. "Say, Scorbunny, why did you use Ember instead of Double Kick back there?" Goh asked his Pokemon, which instead of answering simply just jumped out of Goh's hands and tried to use Ember. But before it even managed to finish it's attempt, Goh grabbed it by the cheeks and tried to explain to it that it needs to stop. "Didn't I tell you? You should focus on the moves you can actually use, and fight in a way that's true to yourself." Instead of agreeing with it's trainer however, Scorbunny instead kept throwing a tantrum, still in Goh's grip, before escaping, and trying to use Ember again and again and again, to no avail. Goh looked at it, feeling sorry for it. "Listen to me! That just isn't good enough!" Goh snapped at Scorbunny, who refused to pay any attention to what Goh was saying. And it still didn't, as instead of listening to him, it got mad, and kicked Goh in the butt! Goh finally felt what Ash had felt whenever he was the victim of this, but Goh was too worked up over this situation to think about that. "Just accept that there's some things you can't do!" Instead, Scorbunny kept stomping the ground in anger. "Oh, what now?" Goh said in frustration. "Fine, then! Have it your way." He told his Pokemon as it stormed off, crying. "Scorbunny!" Ash called out, trying to stop it, but it kept running. "Goh, you're not gonna follow it?" Ash asked Goh. "No." Goh answered him. This day was an absolute disaster for Goh. His Scorbunny wanted to learn a move that's against Goh's plan, he was unable to catch anything, Scorbunny wasted his golden opportunity of catching a Pelliper, he lost a battle to Team Rocket, and to top it all of, managed to get into the same place he's subjected Ash to multiple times already. "What's gotten into it? I tried so hard to bring out Scorbunny's strength in battle." Goh said to himself out loud. "Really?" Ash said in shock. "Yeah!" Goh answered him, confused. "Oh, I see" Ash said. "But that battle was, how do I put it..." Goh looked over at Ash in complete confusion. "You and Scorbunny really weren't one". "One?" Goh asked, trying to figure out what Ash meant. "Yeah! Like how when Pikachu and I battle, it's like we merge into one being! And then it's like our chest starts boilinf and blazing up... and we go all 'Ba-Ba-Ba-Bang!'" "I have no idea what you mean..." Goh told Ash. "Then you've gotta stick with Scorbunny until you do get it!" Hearing this left Goh surprised. He knew Ash was brave and kind, but never thought Ash had genuine, smart advice he could give people. He took Ash's advice and together they searched for Scorbunny, until finally the found it at a park, still trying to learn Ember. "Scorbunny is dead set on using a Fire move huh?" Ash said. The entire day Goh was against Scorbunny using a fire move, but now he had decided to put Scorbunny's needs above his own, and went over to help it. However, before he could even say anything, Scorbunny took one look at him and dashed off, until it ended up stumbling back onto Team Rocket. Team Rocket sent out their Chewtle once again, and Goh spoke to his Scorbunny. "There might be a Fire move you can use", which made Scorbunny visibly happy to hear. "This time, we'll win for sure!" He assured Scorbunny, and gave it a small rock to use. Scorbunny used it's powerful feet to kick the rock, and successfully used a Fire type move! Ember! Then, out of nowhere, a blue light surrounded Scorbunny, as it evolved into a Raboot, marking Goh's 3rd Galar Pokemon Dex Entry! Raboot used Ember against Team Rocket once more, sending them blasting off for the second time that day. Goh couldn't be happier. He held out his hand to high five Raboot and... it walked past, leaving him hanging.
