Kaede explained her horns, her alternate personality, and why she was with the blues. Simmons was pretty understanding and more fascinated with her horns as he listened and worked on one of the teleporters. However, Sarge was getting bored and threw the group back on track to finding O'mally.

"I've programmed one of the teleporters to Blood Gulch. That should help us with Donut. Now we're just missing Grif and Church." Simmons explains.

"I've got it!" Sarge exclaims. "I put a listening device on one of the suits of armour I built. We can use that to find where they are."

"Did you put listening devices in everyones armour?" Kaede asks.

"No. Just the two I gave to the blues. We just gotta pray its the one with Grif." Sarge says. "Of coarse, it is acceptable to lose him. Thats just the nature of things."

"How about we check before we start throwing his funeral." Kaede blankly states.

"Yeah. Just use the device," Simmons agrees.

"Find." Sarge grumbles as he pulls out a remote with two buttons.

"Oh, Buttons!" Caboose exclaims. "Can I push the button to make it go?"

"Okay, just this once." Sarge says, handing the device to him.

"Yay! Thanks!" Caboose exclaims before pushing the button.

"I wonder if Nyu would do something similar?" Kaede asks herself aloud.

"Caboose. Theres nothing more to do with that device. You can hand it back to Sarge." Kaede says.

"But theres one more button. I'm really curious." Caboose says.

"No Sarge! That tool over there!" Simmons exclaims.

"This is totally different than working on vehicles. Making me frustrated!" Sarge exclaims as he and Simmons continue working on a teleporter to Blood Gulch. Sarge throws said tool behind his back, hitting Kaede square in the face.

"Ow!" She exclaims as she is hit. "Nyu?"

"Woah! Nyu? How did you even get here so fast!" Caboose exclaims. However, Nyu is not paying attention to him and has her eyes trained on the device Caboose is holding, more specifically, the unpressed button.

"Nyu? Nyu." Nyu says as she examines the button. This reminded her of this one time a few years ago.

Flashback

Waking up, it was all just another day for Nyu. Getting out of bed and looking at the calendar, not knowing what it was but it looked important, and being oblivious to the fact she skipped out on a few days.

She then went to the shower to wash herself, just like Church and Tucker showed her how. Taking off her pyjamas and looking in the mirror, she noticed something was different about her. Two bulges protruding from her chest. Those weren't there yesterday. Since the last Nyu had been awake, Kaede breasts had started growing out.

Being the child in mind that she was she touched the in an effort to figure out what they were. Upon simply poking them a few times, she outright grabbed them and squeezed. That felt good.

"Nyuuuuu." She lets out softly before doing again. It felt so good. She did it a few more times occasionally moaning out her name until...

"Kaede! Whats taking so damn long!" She hears Church shout.

"Nyu!" Nyu shouts, stopping what she was doing and heading right into the shower. Church was scary when he was angry, which was almost always. She'd have to try that later.

Present

Maybe if she poked at that thing, something similar to that time would happen.

"Nyu!" She exclaimed before pushing the button.

"Nyu!" Caboose exclaims. "I was gonna do that." He says angrily.

"Nyuuuuu." Nyu looks down with sadness.

"So, this is Kaede's alternate personality she told us about." Simmons muses as he watches on while working and directing Donut with the teleporter.

"Yeah. She seems... happy." Sarge says.

"She acts like a child, just like Kaede said." Simmons notes. "Besides the limited vocabulary, I think keeping her out of trouble shouldn't be too hard. Unless she does something REALLY unusual."

Nyu, noticing Caboose is upset, attempts to make it up to him. She grabs his and and plants it on one of her breasts.

"Nyuuuu." She purrs as she makes him squeeze it.

"Sarge... whats going on?" Simmons weakly asks.

"Simmons... I don't know. I've never seen a lady do that before." Sarge states.

Once the teleporter was completed, Sarge, Simmons, Caboose, and Nyu walk through to appear in a snowy area.

"Cold!" Nyu cries out upon exiting the teleporter. She crosses her arms and violently shivers.

"Yeah... thats gonna be a problem." Simmons states.

"Lets hope she grows into that armour fast." Sarge states. "Environmental controls for the win."

"Here, Nyu. Hugs make everything warmer." Caboose says before enveloping the young girl.

"Nyu." Nyu says back as she returns the hug. Tex, Donut, and Tucker (in black armour) then run out of the teleporter. Tex runs straight out and away from the group.

"Yeah! I knew I could fix a teleporter. I guess these hands aren't just for manicuring after all." Donut exclaims.

"Nyu!" Nyu exclaims before running up to Donut and hugging him.

"Awe. What a warm greeting." Donut says as he returns the hug.

"Whats with all the black on your armour?" Simmons asks to Tucker.

"Just me? What the fuck!" Tucker exclaims.

"Nyu! Nyu exclaims once again. Running up to Tucker and hugging him. His hug was warm. Very warm. Maybe too warm. Okay, its hot! "Nyu!" Yells as she breaks away from him and belly flops into the snow. "Nyu..." She says upon getting relived of that burning feeling.

"Heh. Even when covered up, she knows a blue. I'm beginning to like this Nyu." Sarge happily says.

"She did that because my armours just hot you dumbass." Tucker explains.

"Someones salty." Sarge mutters.

"I can help you clear it off again." Caboose offers.

"Ohh! I'll help!" Donut adds. The two go with Tucker to clean his armour. Nyu walks back to Sarge and Simmons with the cold coming back to her in full force.

"Sarge, whatever we have to do here, we need to do it quick. Nyu will freeze if we're out here too long." Simmons explains.

"Right. Its best we move out then." Sarge agrees. Luckily, they didn't have to move out long as O'mally appears atop an icy precipice.

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! You fools have fallen right into my hands!" He taunts. "Only now, do you realize the folly of your follies, hahahahaha. Prepare for an oblivion in which there is no preparation."

"O'mally! The reds and blues are working together now you can't hope to beat us!" Simmons exclaims.

Well... O'mally didn't win, but the reds and blues didn't either. Something happened, involving Church, and all of a sudden, the cold started to turn to heat. When Nyu woke up, replacing the fozen white plains was sandy rock. It has been a long hour.

"Nyu sleepy." Nyu says to herself before dozing off. Somehow, sleeping would make things go back to normal. With that, Kaede awakens to the sight of the desert.

"Ugh. What'd I miss now?" Kaede groans as she gets up.

"What happened?" She hears someone beside her say. She turns to see Tucker getting up.

"Tucker!" She yells before tackling him in a hug. Fortunately, he is not burning hot at the moment. "I thought you were dead." She starts crying into his shoulder.

"Yeah. I thought I was too." Tucker says as he hugs her back.

"Hey! They're awake!" Donut exclaims. Kaede wipes the tear trails from her eyes to see everyone minus Church is here.

"Take it easy Kaede. Tucker. You've been out for awhile." Simmons.

"I've technically been out for longer." Kaede brings up.

"Whats going on? Who are you people?" Tucker asks.

"He has amnesia." Donut states. "Tucker. Don't worry. You are safe. We're the reds, we're your mortal enemies. Wait. That didn't sound right."

"Can we have an actual recap here? The last thing I remember was talking to Caboose in the janitors closet." Kaede says.

"The fuck? When did that happen?" Grif asks.

"Oh yeah, the split personality thing." Simmons realizes.

"What split personality?" Donut asks.

"Oh yeah. I haven't told you guys yet." Kaede realizes.

One explanation later.

"That is SO cool." Donut says.

"It does explain why you kept saying nothing but Nyu those few times." Grif says.

"Whats it like when she's awake?" Donut asks.

"Like going to sleep. When I wake up, I don't know what has happened or what she did while I was asleep." Kaede explains.

"Fuck, now I want a split personality." Grif says. "Sleep it off while the other me does all the work."

"How did you get it?" Donut asks.

"I kinda got shot in the head." Kaede says.

"Good news, Grif! I can get you that new personality you wanted!" Sarge exclaims as he levels his shot gun to his head.

"On second thought, maybe I should just keep my mind to myself. No need to divide it." Grif says.

"Nice, words and things. We're in the future!" Caboose cries.

"The future? Oh I can't fucking wait to hear this one." Tucker says.

"Obviously Lopez's weather matrix combined with the power of bomb 21 combined to create an explosion so large, it caused a temporal rift in time, that cascaded through the bio-" Sarge starts.

"Whoa whoa, wait a second. Wait a second. I don't understand." Tucker interrupts.

"And I just remembered I haven't gotten my explanation." Kaede brings up. "Did you say Lopez had a weather matrix?"

"Yes, mam! Made it myself." Sarge boasts.

"This is gonna take awhile." Simmons sighs.

"Which is why we use my skit!" Donut suggests.

"Yes." Simmons states.

"I don't wanna do that dumb skit." Grif says.

"Skit?" Kaede questions.

"Yes!" Caboose says.

"Caboose, you know what they're talking about?" Kaede questions.

"No, I was just agreeing with everyone. It sounds fun." Caboose explains.

"Should have figured." Kaede mutters.

"Great! Places everyone!" Donut exclaims.

Tucker and Kaede sat and watched Donut lazy excuse for a play unfold... until Caboose predictively wreaked it all.

"That... explained nothing." Kaede states.

"Yeah. In that time, I could have told Kaede what had happened when she was Nyu up to the point I can remember." Tucker agrees.

"So, way to waste our time Donut." Kaede adds. Donut falls to his knees, anime tear water falls coming from his... visor.

"What happened was your buddy Church set off a bomb, which when combined with the weather machinery in Lopez, made an explosion so large it destroyed the present." Sarge explains.

"I'm never getting answers." Kaede groans, giving up completely.

"Destroyed the present! Then when are we!" Tucker exclaims. Meanwhile, Kaede says silent, holding her head as if she was getting a headache. It was meaningless to press on, as Tucker was finding out, so best just to stay slient.
