"Church, is something wrong?" Kaede approaches Church when he's alone. "If its what Nyu did earlier, I'm so sorry she did that."

"No. It has nothing to do with Nyu. We need to talk." Church seriously explains.

"Okay." Kaede cautiously returns. "What about?"

"How about the fact you've been hanging out with the Reds behind our backs and never told us." Church exclaims.

"Oh..." She forgot, even if things were resolved with Sarge, not everyone would be willing to forgive her so easily.

"I mean, you've been lying to us for the past 6 years and you've never had a problem with it!" Church shouts.

"I always felt bad for not telling any of you, but I was afraid of what would happen if everyone found out. I like both the Blues and the reds and I didn't want either to think badly of me that I had friends on the other side." Kaede explains.

"How did you even meet them! When we first adopted you, we told you we were at war! Didn't that at least raise some concern for talking to strangers." Church says.

"I was ten, alright! I didn't think about it!" Kaede exclaims. "And it all worked out didn't it? Everyone seems friends here."

"Maybe, but what if it was just like that time with the girl you told us about? What if they were just stringing you along?" Church asks. "And even ignoring that, we took you in and you lied to us in return!"

"I'm sorry." Kaede cries out as she lets the tears flow freely.

"Made a girl cry. You proud of yourself." Tucker asks. Church as he approaches.

"Not now, Tucker!" Church exclaims.

"Too bad Tex isn't here to see this. She'd really punish you then." Tucker replies.

"What do you want?" Church asks.

"Do you have a knife?" Tucker asks.

"No. Thats a weapon dude, ask Tex." Church says.

"What do you need a knife for?" Kaede asks.

"We're teaching the alien english with visual aids." Tucker explains.

"How're you doing that?" Church asks.

"Turns out Cabooses gun didn't have any bullets. It was loaded with crayons. I just have to cut one of these things." Tucker explains.

"I can cut things with my invisible arms remember." Kaede reminds.

"Right. I forgot about that." Tucker presents the crayon and Kaede cuts it in half.

"Even then, you don't need Kaede to cut anything. You forget about about your big awesome sword, dude?" Church questions.

"You have a sword? When did this happen?" Kaede asks.

"Oh, I found it when we were attacking this place. I think you were Nyu at the time." Tucker explains.

"Can I see it?" Kaede eagerly asks.

"Hell yeah!" Tucker exclaims as he takes out a small grey object from his hip. Pressing a button, the energy sword activates, gracing Kaede with it blue glow.

"Awesome! Its like a lightsaber, except why is it shaped really weird?" She asks.

"Fuck if I know, I just know its awesome!" Tucker exclaims.

"Rhurrrrrrrrrrrgh!" The alien exclaim as it tackles Tucker and begins beating him.

"Ahh what the fuck!" Tucker exclaims as he's is on the ground, getting his ass pounded (Bow chicka bow wow).

"Whoa! Mahan, Tucker, that thing either really hates that sword, or really hates you." Church laughs.

"Aaaaaaaaaah! Get this fucking thing off me!" Tucker cries. Kaede uses her invisible arms to carefully lift the angry alien off and away from Tucker, leaving it hovering in the air for all the non diclonius to see.

"Come on Kaede, this could be our chance to evaluate how they fight." Church says.

"Not if it hurts Tucker." Kaede affirms.

"You always gotta ruin my fun." Church groans as he walks away.

"You okay Tucker?" Kaede asks.

"Ugh. I'll live." Tucker says as he lazily gets up. He looks up at the struggling alien in the air. "Whats his problem?"

"I don't know, it has something to do with your sword most likely." Kaede guesses. "He was pretty calm till you pulled it out."

"That could be one reason." Tucker says. "Or he just learned english in the span of the time we were talking to Church."

"Why would that set him off?" Kaede asks. Tuckers only response is to point to a chalk board a little ways away. On it said "Tucker (Tuk-r) Money (mun-ee) Give Tucker Money." Looking back at Tucker, Kaede responds. "First contact with aliens and you're going to try extorting them."

"Hey, that was to teach." Tucker defends. "And its unlikely they have earth currency anyway." Soon, Church, Caboose, and Tex come back with Andy in tow who claims he can translate the alien. Kaede puts him down and he speaks. From what Andy tells them, the alien had come to claim the sword, but Tucker had already taken it. Apparently it only works for the hero who "passes the windmill trial" and didn't work for anyone else. "Trial? Please, I fell in a hole, thats not a trial. I'm starting to like this culture though, any dude who trips is a hero. I'm pretty sure that makes Caboose Jesus and Kaede and Nyu are God."

Kaede can only sigh into her palm at her own clumsiness. She did trip a lot or get hit in the head one way or another. She guessed Nyu was the same.

"This all sounds like bullshit to me." Church voices.

"No, he's right. It didn't work for me, remember?" Tex brings up.

"Of coarse it didn't work for you, you're a girl." Church explains. "Mean you can't even work the entertainment centre back at the base. Doesn't mean the remote control is mythically attached to us."

"Excuse me. I'm a girl and can work the entertainment system just fine." Kaede pouts.

"You can just barely work the computer." Church brings up. "If anything goes beyond searching something up on Google, you're clueless."

"Alright then smart ass, you pick it up." Tex demands. Kaede picks up Tucker sword, he dropped in his beating, and floated it over to him with her invisible arms. She tried to activate it with her arms to see if they could bypass that rule, however the sword remained dormant.

"Go on." Kaede nudges as she holds it to him. "Prove to us women just can't activate this thing." Church takes a moment to look at it before looking to the alien.

"Hur hur hur hur." He taunts him.

"Nah, I'll take his word for it." Church chickens out.

"Blargh blurg blabu blarg." The alien continues.

"And now you gotta go with him to fulfil the prophecy." Andy translates.

"Fuck you." Tucker responds.

"Blar blarg blargh, hnnk hnnk." The alien shoots back.

"Heh heh heh, good one. Uh oh yeah, he's... he's not too thrilled about it either." Andy translates.

"See I knew this was a bad idea." Tucker says. "Sorry to fuck up your quest, dude, but I'm not goin."

"Aaand if you don't go, he'll destroy the base, and kill everybody here." Andy adds.

"Alright, have fun guys." Church farewells.

"Kill us all. I'd like to see him try." Kaede challenges.

"Oh, come on. A quest could be fun, right guys?" Tex asks in an uncharacteristically sweet voice.

"What do we have to do?" Tucker sighs. The alien speaks as Andy translates.

"First we go to the burning planes of Honka hill. Then we'll cross to the freezing planes of blargganthia." Andy explains.

"The burning plains are next to freezing plains?" Caboose questions. "I bet theres some pretty wet plains in between."

"This is so dumb, I'm not doing this." Tucker complains.

"Hey, newsflash, you don't have a choice. You're the one who picked up the sword and locked it to yourself." Church argues.

"I know! And I'm used to picking up things and not getting attached. ...I'm talking about women." Tucker brings up.

"I know, yes, I got it." Church sighs.

"Hey, if you look at it a different way, then you did do that." Kaede says. "You picked up me."

"Damn, there goes my analogy." Tucker sighs.

"Don't worry Tucker, we're not gonna send you alone." Tex assures.

"You're coming with me, Tex?" Tucker questions.

"Me? Hell no! This is the first thing you wimps have done that actually sounds dangerous." Tex clarifies.

"Don't worry Tucker, I'll go with you." Kaede assures.

"Thanks Kaede. Hey Tex, how're you scared of a little quest when a teenager is willing to go."

"Because I'm not suicidal like her." Tex shoots back.

"Hey!" Kaede exclaims.

"Great, Kaede's coming with me. I assume you aren't coming, Church." Tucker states.

"Then you've assumed right." Church states.

"Good, cause you're a worst fighter than I am." Tucker insults.

"That said, someone else is going with you." Church brings up.

"What, who?" Tucker asks. He and Caboose share a look and he realizes. "No fuckin way. I am not going with him."

"Oh, oh, oh, I hope we meet a Cleric along the way. None of us know how to heal." Caboose ignores them.

"Blarhun?" The alien replies.

"He says he's a healer." Andy translates.

"Oh good." Caboose says with relief.

"Heh heh, not really, they eat their wounded, heh heh heh." Andy laughs.

"So aliens get paid to cannibalize their own kind?" Kaede questions.

"Heh, never thought of it like that." Andy says.

"Okay, so, um, Tucker is a fighter, uh, Crunchbite is the healer, Kaede is the tank, and I am the powerful... and intelligent, wizard. Morphumax.

"How is the girl with out armour a tank?" Andy questions.

"I can block bullets with my invisible hands. Just think of me like Dva from Overwatch, only I don't need a mech to be the tank." Kaede explains.

"Invisible hands... sure." Andy says with disbelief. "And what the hell am I supposed to be?" Andy questions.

"You're the good looking and stealthy archer." Caboose answers,

"Bow and arrow- I don't have any arms, you freakin moron!" Andy exclaims.

"That is what makes you so stealthy. This is going to be the best party ever." Caboose says with excitement.

"I'm gonna fuckin' die." Tucker deadpans.

"Oh, cheer up, Tucker. This'll be fun." Kaede assures. "And none of us are going to die."

"I dunno, from what this guy says, theres gonna be a shit load of danger on this trip. I dunno if even you can handle it." Tucker says.

"Oh please, you've never doubted my powers before, why start now?" Kaede asks. "I've tested them, nothings too strong for them to cut and they can block bullets. We're in the clear here. In fact, Caboose? Why aren't I the wizard. I'm technically the one who uses "magic"".

"Oh. I guess your right." Tucker says. "Heh, lets go start this quest!"

"Hell yeah!" Kaede exclaims.
