After finally convincing Kaikaina to find Church to finish the orientation, Kaede sits on the group as she thinks about both events both recent and past. As fun as it was to hang out with the Reds and Blues... her family, it was feeling a little exhausted. It wasn't that she was starting to get bored with them or anything like that, but she felt she needed some time to herself. Maybe a vacation was in order. After all, its been six years since she's last been in Kamakura. Six years since she's last saw Kouta. Maybe tomorrow she would ask Tucker if she could take a trip back.

Kaede was thrown from her thoughts by the sound of an explosion.

"Retreat!" She hears Church yell, followed by unintelligible screams by all the others. Soon, the others all crowded into her little spot to take cover from the gunfire.

"Whats going on?" Kaede asks after everyones taken cover.

"Just Tex being a bitch again. You know, the usual." Tucker casually says.

"Then why is she shooting at us?" Kaede asks.

"How do I know?" Church asks. "Why are you acting like this is unusual?"

"Its unusual for her to shoot at me. Not unusual for her to be an asshole." Kaede answers.

"Church is right, it is usual for Tex to shoot at us." Caboose comments.

"Yeah, you would know. You were her target practice." Tucker reminds him.

"Shouldn't we get her to stop." Kaede says.

"Yeah. I'll get right on that." Church says.

"Uh, aren't you like, the leader or something?" Kaikaina questions.

"Uh- yes Sister, I am the leader, which is why I'm officially appointing you, or field negotiator." Church responds.

"Like we need one of those." Kaede mutters.

"Awesome!" Kaikaina exclaims. (We're just gonna call her Sister from now on, cause its what everyone calls her that and its easier to write)

"Yes, congratulations, we're all very proud of you." Church says quickly. "Your first job is to get Tex to stop firing at us."

"Cool." Sister says before standing straight up, into the line of fire. Kaede uses her invisible arms to shield her from the front however, it was unnecessary as she didn't feel anything hit them. "Hey, Tex! Stop shooting you stupid bitch!" With that, she gets back behind cover.

"Nice negotiating." Tucker remarks.

"She's not firing. I think that actually worked!" Church exclaims.

"Maybe she's trying to lure us out." Kaede suggests.

"Fuck, thats a good point." Church concedes. "Then again, maybe she's out of ammo. I'll check." Church stands up only for a sniper round to be fired at his face, however, its stopped by an invisible force. "Nope. She still has ammo." Church comments as he crouches back down. "Thanks Kaede."

"What would you guys do without me." Kaede comments to herself.

"Freeze! Nobody move!" Tex exclaims as she appears before the group, rifle trained on them.

"We're already not moving. You could have just said everyone keep doing what you're not doing." Tucker comments.

"Shut up!" Tex yells at him.

"And why should we listen to you!" Kaede yells to her. Standing straight up and moving in front of the blues, her invisible hands poised to strike. "You better give me a damn good reason for me not to rip you apart right now!"

"My reason is that O'mally isn't in Doc anymore. He's jumped into somebody new, and I'm not trusting anybody, until I find out who." Tex explains. Kaede stands down but still glares at her.

"Yeah, we already know all that. We're on top of situation." Church explains.

"You are? Then who did O'mally jump in to?" Tex asks.

"Oh. Yeah, I meant, I meant we were on top of everything up until that point." Church clarifies.

"Typical." Tex scoffs.

"None of us are infected Tex, but I'm a little worried about the tank. She's been acting really weird lately." Church explains. "Can an A.I. implant in... Tex?"

"Who's the girl?" Tex bluntly asks.

"Thats Kaede." Caboose answers.

"She meant Sister." Kaede clarifies.

"She's just our new recruit." Church answers.

"You mean to tell me I'm only gone a few weeks, and you guys get yourselves a new girl?" Tex questions. Kaede recognizes the situation. Tex was jealous, though why, she would never know. Tex seemed to dislike everyone here to put it mildly. She must care for them on some level. She imagined she would feel something similar if she found out Kouta had ended up with another girl. Did he- no. Can't think of that right bow.

"Whoa. Tread lightly dude, tread lightly." Tucker voices.

"Oh man. This is not gonna work out well for us." Church says.

"Dude, are you kidding? We finally have three girls on our team. You know what that means." Tucker says.

"No. I don't know what that means." Kaede voices.

"Co-ed Softball team." Caboose explains. "I'm gonna go get my base ball racket."

"Tucker, I know what you're thinking, and its not gonna happen." Church says.

"Oh, why not?" Tucker questioned.

"Because girls can't share anything. Not even an apartment. Every time girls live together, within six months, they all hate each other, and somebody gets stuck with a twelve hundred dollar phone bill." Church explains.

"Is that true?" Kaede asks. "If so, I guess it was a good thing I didn't have a roommate back in the orphanage."

"Yeah, its true. But as long as we get to watch them make up, who cares." Tucker says.

"I guess that would work." Kaede says. "I really need to get out more. I was planning to talk to you about that, but I think that can wait till later."

"Alright then." Tucker agrees. "We gotta ask for leave sometime anyway. We've been here YEARS. They gotta let us have a break, right?"

Afterwards, the blues determined that Shelia was the one O'mally had taken possession of. It was decided that someone would distract her while Tex snuck up from behind and disabled her. Everyone was quick to look at Caboose for the distraction, but Kaede volunteered. She could defend herself if the tank turned hostile. She didn't know if her invisible arms could block tank shells, so she would have to keep a more evasive strategy in mind in case things went awry.

So now she was casually walking up to Shelia. Now, Kaede had never been the best conversationalist, but she was confident enough that she could sufficiently distract Shelia.

"Hello, Shelia. How are you doing." Kaede politely greeted.

"Oh, hello Kaede. Actually, I'm not functioning at my optimal capacity. My internal diagnostics indicate I am having mechanical issues. How are you?" Shelia asks. Like any other sensible person, if a persons day wasn't good, Kaede didn't want to hear it. The exceptions were people she was close with like Kouta and the Reds and Blues so she could help them though their bad day. However, she barely knew Shelia. She could count on one hand the amount of times they ever talked. So already she was off to a poor start.

"Uhh... I'm not doing so well myself. This heats really getting to me, especially with all my black clothes. I would dress in a different colour if I had any clothes in different colours." Kaede attempted. "But I don't, besides, I like my colour scheme. How do you feel about yours?"

"I like any customization features making me, what some would classify, a plain jain. I really don't like that." Shelia explains. Okay, that didn't work.

"Oh... uh... sorry to hear that." Kaede mumbles. What else could you talk about with a tank? Then, she got it. "Oh, Shelia is there any music you like?"

"I'm not really into music as I've never really heard any besides Lopez's wonderful song." Shelia explains.

"Right..." Kaede responds not know what she's talking about. "Theres this one song I love. It was given to me by a good friend, would you like to hear it?"

"I suppose I would." Shelia responds. Yes! This should keep her busy AND they wouldn't have to awkwardly talk. With that, Kaede pulled out her music box and opened it up, letting Shelia listen to the sweet tune of Lilium. "This... this sounds quite lovely-" And then Shelia shut down. Her barrel dropping down as her sentence was cut off.

"Yeah! Try running now O'mally!" Kaede taunts.

"I wouldn't be so sure." Tex says from the back of the tank.

"Why is that?" Kaede asks as she moves over to that end of Shelia as well, Church and Caboose also joining in.

"Looking at her A.I. slot, theres only enough room for Shelia. If O'mally were to take possession of this tank, he would need to have either deleted her or removed her." Tex explains. "Meaning this was a waste of time."

"Can we be sure?" Church asks.

"I guess your right. O'mallys pretty crafty, he could have found a way around that. If we're to know for sure, we need Shelia back online." Tex says.

"So you wanna turn her back on after we went through the trouble of turning her off." Kaede questions. "You're disabling her guns first, right?"

"Sadly, its too much of a mess back here to do that." Tex says. "We're gonna need to move her."

"I know, you can put her in my head, like O'mally! I've got lots of extra room up here!" Caboose exclaims.

"Yeah, I bet, and, no. Shes not that kind of A.I." Church explains.

"She can only be moved over to a similar class of vehicle." Tex explains.

"Wait a minute, the ship! Can we move her to one of the on board computers?" Church asks.

"If we set up a hardline, yeah, I bet we could do it." Tex agrees.

"Church wait!" They hear Tucker yell. He runs out of the base, towards the group.

"Huh?" Church questions.

"Church hold on a second I got something to tell you." Tucker exclaims.

"Tucker what, what is it?" Church asks.

"I just wanted to say, I got a hardline Tex could use. Bow chicka wow wow." Tucker exclaims.

"So you have super hearing as well as super vision?" Kaede asks.

"Naw, I'm more like Superman where as I know where I'm needed." Tucker explains.

"That makes a weird sort of sense." Kaede mumbles.

"Naw, I still don't get it." Caboose says.
