After awhile, Church called for a meeting of all blues to meet on top the base. Kaede thought this was strange seeing they never had a serious meeting since... ever.

"Alright, Vic called and said we should attack the Red base right away. I don't know why but, I guess we're gonna do it." Church says, sounding completely uninterested.

"Why do we NEED to do it though?" Kaede asks.

"I dunno. Cause theres nothing else to do." Church answers. "Besides, we're supposed to listen to Vic's orders. Chain of command and everything."

"Don't worry Kaede. We'll try not to kill any of the Red guys. I know your still friends with them." Tucker assures.

"I make no guarantees." Church promises. "Anyway, he thinks its a good idea for some of us to go through the caves."

'Oh yeah, I never got to exploring those.' Kaede thinks. 'With nothing going on a lot of the time, I wonder why that is.'

Flashback

Kaede stood atop the base completely bored out of her mind, looking out at the barren landscape of the canyon. While looking oit, hoping anything would happen, she caught sight of the entrance to what looked like some caves not too far away. With nothing else to do, She decided she would finally explore those caves.

"Hey Kaede." Caboose greeted. Kaede turned towards him and said her own greeting. "Look what I found!" Caboose exclaimed holding up a bouncy ball. "Catch!" He throws the ball with little warning, hitting Kaede on the head and knocking her off the base. "Sorry! Not my fault! Tucker did it!" Caboose exclaimed.

"Nyuuuuuuuuuuu!" Nyu cried. Apparently the fall breaking her arm.

Present

Oh yeah, it was things like that. Luckily, no other distractions lead to being in a cast for a few months.

"Why?" Tex questions.

"I don't know f, who cares." Church explains. "So me, Tex, Tucker, and Kaede are gonna go right up the middle."

"What about my kid he can't go into battle!" Tucker exclaims.

"Doc, Sister, and Junior, you guys go get lost in the caves." Church finishes.

"Oh." Tucker says dumbly.

"We'll find you after the battles over. Unless we die, in which case we won't find you, and you're gonna have to find us." Church explains. "And if that happens I wanna be buried as far away as possible from these two. And Kaede if she's Nyu when she dies."

"I don't know if I should feel offended from that." Kaede mutters.

Soon, the group of four had arrived at the cliff overlooking the Red base.

"I don't see anything." Church states.

"I'll move up. You three stay here." Tex commands.

"Yeah. Cover me. That way I won't get hurt. Just don't run away." Tex says before breaking away towards the Red base.

"Hey, you don't have to be a bitch." Tucker calls back.

"I'm going down there too." Kaede declares.

"But Tex told us to stay here." Tucker reminds her.

"And you guys can do that. Your guys rifles can provide better cover fire than my pistol." Kaede brings up.

"You do realize we're talking about Church, right?" Tucker brings up.

"Up yours dickhead." Church responds. "And you're just going down there to make sure she's not going to kill the Reds." He turns to Kaede.

"I trust you guys to keep to your word, but I don't trust Tex to... anything, really." Kaede explains.

"Why do you care for them so much?" Church questions.

"Hey, I would do the same if it were you guys. You are all family to me. You are all I've ever had and I refuse to lose even one of you." Kaede declares.

"Thats strangely reassuring." Tucker comments.

"Fine. Just don't get killed." Church groans. Kaede smiles at him before sliding down the cliff to Red base. As she approaches Red base, she spies a hole that wasn't there the last time she was over. Looking into it, its deep then she thought it would be.

"Theres no way the Reds dug all this out. Are these the caves I keep neglecting to visit?" Kaede questions to herself as she looks inside. While looking around, she slips on some unstable ground and tumbles into the hole. After a brief moment of panic, she rights herself and uses her invisible arms to break her fall, leaving hand impressions on the ground. "That could have gone worse." Then, as the universe would have it, some more ground came down landing on Kaede's head, knocking her out for a shot while. When she comes back...

"Nyu?" Nyu looks around at the unfamiliar environment she awoke in. It was dark. Really dark... and scary. Where were the friendly blue people and the friendly red people? "Nyu?" She calls out again, hoping someone would hear her. Nothing but the sound of water dripping. "Nyu scared. Nyu scared." Nyu says, hugging herself in a vain attempt for comfort. "Don't leave Nyu."

After a few seconds she hears something. "Nyu?" She questions, looking to it source. She can't see what cause it.

*SQUEAK*

"Nyu? Nyu!" Nyu is suddenly assaulted by a ton of bats all trying to fly somewhere else. When they're gone, the alternate personality is left curled up and crying on the cave floor. "Nyu alone." She cries to herself.

What is there to do now? The friendly red and blue people have disappeared, and Nyu was in a scary place with mean... flying things.

"Its this way." She hears someone far away say. "Its defiantly this way."

"Nyu." Nyu is brought out of her despair. That was someone. Maybe they could help her.

"So reassuring." Another voice sarcastically remarks. With that, Nyu quickly gets to her feet and runs as fast as she can towards the voices.

"Nyuuuu!" Nyu cries out as she gets closer.

"Sarge, do you hear that? I think its-"

"Nyu!" Nyu cries out with joy, trapping the red one in a big hug.

"Ah Kaede!" Sarge exclaims.

"Actually Sarge, I think thats her alternate personality. Nyu." Donut explains. "And it looks like she has been crying." Donut opens up his arms to welcome a hug to which Nyu gladly leaps into.

"What happened?" Simmons asks.

"She can't speak very well. She won't be able to tell us." Donut explains.

"Look at the bright side. If she's captured by the enemy, she won't be able to give away any information." Sarge says.

"You know, I just noticed that Nyu's communication situation is similar to Lopez's." Simmons states.

"What do ya mean similar? We can understand Nyu on some level." Grif brings up.

"I didn't say exactly the same, I said similar." Simmons corrects.

"And just like Lopez, I can understand Nyu perfectly!" Sarge exclaims.

"I think thats a bit of a stretch, Sarge." Donut brings up.

"What. Of coarse its not!" Sarge exclaims "Listen, Nyu was crying because she was so traumatized by the blues inherit evil that she came down here to find us." He then pats Nyu on the head assuringly. "Don't worry little missy. You're safe now.

Nyu breaks her hug to look at Sarge.

"No." Nyu says, shaking he head.

"Guess that proves that, Sarge." Grif remarks.

"Eh, shut up ye turd." Sarge shoot back at him.

"Mean things hurt Nyu!" Nyu exclaims.

"Mean things?" Simmons questions.

"The blues?" Sarge asks. Nyu shakes her head.

"Mean fly things." Nyu clarifies.

"What?" Simmons exclaims.

"Flying things? You mean like bats?!" Grif panics. Nyu tilts her head to the side. She never heard of bats before. But orange one seems to be scared, just like they scared Nyu. Maybe the were mean to him too.

"Yes." She exclaims.

"We outta listen to her Sarge. There could be more in here. In the mean time, lets go attack that blue base!" Grif exclaims before running ahead of the group, Nyu following behind him.

"Note to self. Get pet bats." Sarge says to himself.

Soon, the others catch up with the two and find their way to the surface. Nyu is overjoyed to see the familiar canyon in which she was technically born in.

"Theres the base." Sarge observes.

"It looks like they're in trouble." Simmons states, referring to the blues atop their own base. "Is that that bounty hunter guy? That guy's a dick."

"Nyu?" Nyu questions.

"Hah! The blues have over extended themselves and spread their forces too thin! Classic blunder. Change of plans, men. Instead of hitting Blue base, we're gonna take back our own base!" Sarge exclaims.

"Nyu!" Nyu exclaims.

"Thats the spirit, Nyu!" Sarge exclaims. A tank rolls past the group toward Red base.

"Tank!" Grif exclaims.

"Oh shit!" Simmons yells.

"Rechange of plans, men! Blue base it is." Sarge orders. The reds move toward Blue base, however, Sarge is stopped when Nyu tugs on his arm.

"No! No go!" Nyu exclaims.

"But Nyu. Can't you see Blue base is open for attack!" Sarge exclaims.

"Nyu! Nyu!" Nyu begs, pointing to the Red base.

"Nyu, we can't get back our old base. Its too heavily fortified! So we must take Blue base. I know the decorations are of a terrible colour, but its better than nothing!" Sarge explains. He then runs off to join his subordinates.

Nyu looks downcast. If she had more words, she could make red understand that she just wanted to help her friends. She remembers white person (Wyoming) and he was not friendly the last time she saw him. But how could she help. Checking her pockets for something useful, she finds a small box and a thing that looked like the thing everyone carried on one of their legs (pistol). The second thing has to be something that can help. Pocketing the box, she takes the pistol (holding it correctly by pure luck) and charges forward.

As she ran forward, she had a strange feeling. Deja-vu was it. She stops to lay a hand on her head.

"Ugh. That was weird." Kaede states before moving forward.

After a few rounds of this happening, Kaede (cause she's in control now) makes it to the base.

"Uhhhh, whats going on?" She asks herself. "And why do I have such a headache?"

"Reggie!" She hears a familiar voice exclaim. She looks to see the tank parked right beside the Red base. Didn't she just help disable Shelia, but wait, that wasn't Shelia's voice it was...

"I'm coming to help! Don't start without me!" She hears Caboose exclaim.

"Caboose, get the fuck outta here!" Tucker exclaims. Sniper shots hit the ground in front of the blue soldier.

"Okay bye, I don't want to help anymore." Caboose says as he turns around and comes back where he came. Kaede looks up to see Tucker atop the Red base holding a sniper rifle.

"What the fuck is going on! Is this some kind of weird dream!" Kaede exclaims. There was no way Tucker was holding a sniper rifle.

"Kaede! Run!" Tucker yells to her.

Kaede books it away from the tank just as a it fires on the ground she was occupying. Taking cover behind a rock, she assess the situation.

The tank was firing on a fleeing Church and Tucker and they seemed to know exactly what they were doing, so they we safe for now. It seemed the tank was the only hostile force, so she readied her invisible arms to fight it. She then hears multiple sniper shots. WHAT NOW! She looked back to Church and Tucker to see them fleeing from a large crowd of identical looking white armoured soldiers.

Yup. This has got to be a weird dream.
