"Kouta!" Yuka cried out. No matter how many times he kept coming for the summer, she never got tired of seeing him.

"Oh, hello Yuka." Kouta greets back. The two were currently at the train station were Kouta had come from Hokkaido. He also didn't come alone.

"Nice to see you again Kanae." Yuka greets her younger cousin.

"Its good to see you too Yuka." Kanae says before giving Yuka a big hug.

"Where's uncle? Did he not come with you?" Yuka asks.

"He had to stay behind for work. It'll be just us, is that alright?" Kouta asks.

"Of coarse its fine. Come on, lets get out of here before more people show up." Yuka says before leading the two out of the station and to the stairs they always stopped off at when the two visited.

"I'll never get tired of this sight." Kouta smiles as he watches the view.

"Yeah." Kanae agrees.

"So, we all promise to have as much fun as the last times you two were here." Yuka exclaims, smile as equally wide as the others.

"Yeah!" Kouta and Kanae both exclaim.

With that, the three run off for a whole day of fun. Yuka, during this time and all the other times Kouta visited, tried to garner his attention in a romantic sense but the boy was to dense to Yuka's advances. No matter, he would soon be hers one day.

After the first day of their visit, Kouta had said he would go out alone to draw. Yuka liked whatever Kouta drawing Kouta came back with when he went out during these times. However, she found it odd he insist on going alone. It was disappointing to Yuka, she would have liked to have gone with him just so the two of them could spend some more time alone, but she respected his decision nonetheless. She hoped Kouta would eventually invite her to come with him one time though.

Kouta made his way up the hill, sketchbook and music box in hand. Maybe she would be up there this time. The girl he meet six years ago, Kaede was her name. After he saw her all the way back then, something about her just drew Kouta in, like she hit all the right notes.

He was eager to become her friend and was generally ecstatic when the two had went to the zoo together. However, after that she said she would see him off at the train station, but she never showed up. That greatly disappointed Kouta, he wanted to get to know her, but he had never saw her again. Every time he came to visit, he came to the place they first met hoping she would be there, but was left saddened every time she wasn't.

Looking at it from an outside perspective one could say he was in love with her, but the truth was Kouta didn't really know if their relationship extended beyond the limits of simple friendship. All the more reason to see her again and find out.

Reaching the top of the hill, it was easy to see it was vacant of people. Just trees and the little headstone Kaede made to her friend. Kouta had wondered if Kaede had moved away from Kamakura and that was why he never saw her. He had met all the friends Yuka had at her school and none of them were Kaede, and seeing as it that they were the same age and that was the only school in Kamakura, it seemed to make the most sense.

Finishing his drawing, Kouta headed back down the hill, taking nothing but a feeling of disappointment with him. He didn't know what to expect. If she really had moved away, she wouldn't be here. Still, it gave him some sense of hope to try.

After spending more time with his sister and cousin, looking through shops, playing at the beach, the festival had finally arrived. While Yuka stuck to him like glue as they looked at the many stalls, Kanae somehow got separated from the two. So the two naturally had to go find her.

"Kanae alway does this." Yuka says, disappointment in her voice. "When will she learn never to run off on her own."

"You should try living with her. I have to chase her half the time we're out." Kouta says.

"Kouta, could we take a small break? I need to use the washroom." Yuka explains.

"Uh, sure. Go quickly." Kouta says. With that, Yuka takes off in search of a restroom. Kouta stays in place so Yuka won't be able to find him and in turn, escalate the problem.

However, as he watches people come and go about, he is completely shocked to see something he never thought he would see again. Someone in the crowd had pink hair, much like Kaede's. It went down to about her shoulders and ribbons covered where her horns would be. Additionally, she worn some kind of a black dress. She looked to be looking around for something. Taking this opportunity Kouta approached her and tapped her shoulder to get her attention.

When she turned to see who it was, Kouta got a look at her face and he was easily able to determine it was not Kaede. Along with some facial features being wrong, her eyes were a darker shade of red. She also looked to be about Kanae's age. Maybe this was a family member of hers?

"Excuse me, you look a lot like a friend of mine, do you know a Kaede?" Kouta asked the girl. The girl gave him a stern look.

"I don't know a Kaede, now leave me alone." She said with hostility before walking away.

Well, she was just like Kaede when he first met her. But like her, maybe she was really nice when you got to know her. Before he could ask her more, he heard Yuka calling out his name. Looking to see her coming towards him, he then turned back towards the pink haired girl, only to see she was no where to be found.

"Kouta, what are you doing over here? I could have lost you." Yuka brings up.

"Sorry, just thought I saw someone I knew. It was nothing though." Kouta said. With that, the two continued their search for Kanae. Until...

"Gah!" Kouta cried out as he fell.

"Kouta! Are you okay?" Yuka rushed to help him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just tripped." Kouta explains, looking towards what he tripped over, he was surprised at how he could miss something like that. It looked like a futuristic helmet painted in white with a gold visor. "What is that?"

"I don't know." Yuka simply responds. Kouta picks up the helmet.

"Woah, its surprisingly heavy." Kouta notes aloud. Taking a moment to look around to see if anyone would claim it, he then put it on to be greeted with all the heads up displays inside. "Wow, this is actually kind of cool."

"Don't tell me you plan to wear that thing around like a little kid." Yuka criticizes.

"Of coarse not." Kouta said, removing the helmet. "I just think its kind of cool. I think I'll keep it."

"Kouta! What if its someones." Yuka brings up.

"I don't think anyone would accidentally leave something behind thats this heavy." Kouta counters. "I'm sure its fine. I wanna get a sketch of this thing sometime." Tucking it under his arm, he turns back to Yuka. "Come on. Lets get back to finding Kanae."

The pink haired girl continued on her mission to find the queen, aware that the Institute would still be watching her. Though in truth, she hoped she would never find her. The queen was no doubt preparing to unleash justice on these greedy humans. And when that time comes, she hoped she could stand beside her as the slaughter of the human race began.

I don't know anything about Kamakura besides whats in the show, so I'm sorry if I probably got something wrong. Also, I would really appreciate it you guys told me what you thought of this chapter. Obviously, its a departure from the norm.
