Kaede, clad in her ODST armour stepped into the gateway. Once she entered through it, she found herself in what looked like an old train, like the ones in Kamakura.

She raised her Assault rifle and readied her vectors as she slowly explored the train. Dr. Grey said this was a test to determine a true warrior, so something could jump out and attack her any moment. She went train car though train car and nothing was there. In fact it was too eerily quiet. That changed however when she reached the last train car.

Standing there in all her nude glory was DNA voice.

"I should have known you would be the one I had to fight." Kaede venomously says.

"Oh, you wish." DNA replies.

"What does that mean?" Kaede demands.

All out of seemingly know where, more entities begin to appear, surrounding her. There was O'mally, Wyoming and a few clones, The Meta, a few Tex bots, Felix, and Locus.

"Never mind." Kaede groans, readying her vectors. Meta and DNA should be the only challenges here, everyone else is fodder, Kaede thinks to her self.

The Tex bots charge and they're all decapitated easily. Kaede opens fire on Wyoming, killing his clones and forcing him to take cover. She then blocks bullets fired from both Locus and Felix and then spies the Meta charging at her. She smacks him back with full force of her vectors, knowing his over-shield made a lethal strike impossible.

She then catches a knife thrown by Felix to which she shoots him in the head before throwing his knife into O'mally, burring the blade in his face. The Wyoming comes out of cover only to be sliced in half and have Kaede take his cover to avoid taking more fire from Locus.

She then peers out of her cover to spy DNA voice. The bitch was just watching! Both Locus and the Meta had gone invisible. Using her vectors, she sweeps the area in range of herself and actually catches the Meta.

She holds him up like she just caught a fish and watches as the Meta struggles. She spies a shimmer in a corner and throws Meta into it, and into Locus with enough force to kill him. She then drops her assault rifle and fires at Metas neck with her pistol until she has run out of ammo in her clip before taking his head off his shoulders. That was easier than she though.

Whirling around to DNA voice, she launches herself at her and vectors clash. Spying an opening, Kaede plunges her Vector into DNA's heart.

"Got you." she says before squeezing making DNA writhe in pain and collapse to the ground. "I told you, I'll make my own destiny. Humans and Diclonius will live in peace." With that, Kaede violently rips DNA's heart out.

DNA looks to Kaede wide eyed, and said to her in a weak whisper. "Kaede... I'm... proud of you. We have completed our purpose."

"What!" Kaede recoils back. Looking back at the pile that was Locus and the Meta, it is now a pile of Sarge and Tucker. Running over to them, she runs her fingers through their armour. This was real! Looking to O'mally, she is met with the gruesome sight of Yuka with a knife between her eyes.

Looking to Wyoming, she see's Caboose lying on the ground without his head. To Felix she see's Nana bleeding her brains out. The Tex bots where replaced with Donut, Mayu, and Lopez, all spewed around the car. The Wyoming clones were replaced with Grif and Simmons bleeding out. She looks to DNA to be greeted with Kouta's wide unseeing eyes and a big hole in his chest.

"Your destiny is complete my Queen." She hears someone whisper to her. Kaede can only collapse to her knees. She had killed them. Not DNA, her. She lets out a wailing scream as she cries.

"No! Please! No! I don't want to live like this! Please no! Tucker! Sarge! Kouta!" She cries as she lays in fetal position around the corpses of her family. The family she murdered. And with a flash of light, thankfully, the nightmare went away.

I'm introducing my little sister to RVB and she's been liking it so far. We'll watch a season together every night. While I was watching the season 13 episode "Locus of Control" with her when I got the thought "What if Kaede went through the gateway?" And then I made this chapter. Sorry if this was short, this chapter along with the last I just quickly wrote as I thought up the idea. (Both to get these ideas into the story as quickly as possible and to delay the next chapter which I am struggling to write) Anyway, hope you enjoyed.
