"Wait, Tex?" Kaede questions. Didn't she... explode? Tex then wordlessly charges at Kaede with the intent to do harm. She bodily slams into Kaede, knocking her across the hall, making her slam into the wall at the end.
"Retreat!" Sarge orders as he fires his shotgun at Tex as the other three soldiers ran, Tucker picking up a dazed Kaede along the way. The three soldiers jump into a large storage room while Sarge follows them while covering them with his shot gun and a well placed grenade. Once the four think they are safe, Tucker puts Kaede down.
"Kaede! Please tell me your the one still with us!" Tucker exclaims.
"Ugh... yeah I'm... I'm still here." Kaede mutters. "I didn't expect that."
"Good cause Tex may just kill us with out your help." Tucker says. Just as he's finished that sentence, Tex's hand comes through a wall, grabbing Simmons. She smashes his head into the wall and throws the wall into a large container, squishing him in between. Sarge attempts to shoot her but is stopped and thrown into Grif groin before being pile drived through two shipping containers and into a pile of barrels. By this time, Kaede has recovered enough.
"Keep a distance." Kaede advises him. Tucker pulls out his sword.
"Keep a distance? How am I supposed to slash her from a distance?" Tucker questions. But Kaede has already run out to confront Tex.
She starts off by bluntly striking Tex in the chest, knocking her away from Grif and Sarge and atop a large storage container.
"You think you can attack us and get away with it? Try me, bitch!" Kaede yells to her. She picks up some barrels with her invisible arms and begins throwing them at Tex. Tex avoids them and jumps into a teleporter to appear right o Kaede's lift to deliver a swift punch to her shoulder. "Argh!" Kaede cries out as she backs away, cradling her aching shoulder. 'Okay, teleporters around the room. Gotta look out for that.'.
"Come on you idiots! Can't let Kaede get all the ass kicking!" She hears Sarge call out. With that, she see's him charging, Grif half heartedly walking behind him. Kaede quickly lashes out with her arms, but Tex avoids it while avoiding a shotgun shell from Sarge. She then moves in to quickly grab Kaede only to be blocked by her invisible shield. To her surprise, she grabs onto on of the arms, uses it to deflect another shotgun shell, and then uses it as leverage to throw her into Sarge. Grif tries firing at her with his battle rifle but she dodges his shots, rolling over to him before punching him up landing a few shots in his groin. She then knocks him to the ground and prepares for a big punch.
"Wait wait wait-" Grif begs before said punch is delivered to his manhood, again. She then kicks him into a a box before getting punched a few times by Kaede's hands.
'She still can't see them. If I'm quick with my movements, I can beat her.' Kaede thinks, on the side, she wonders where Tucker and Simmons went.
"Hey! Sweet cheeks!" She hears Tucker say before Tex ducks from an oncoming grenade. "Remember me? Step away from the idiot!"
"Hey!" Kaede exclaims.
"I mean't Sarge!" Tucker corrects.
"Thats fair." Kaede shrugs. He's technically right. Tucker has his sword out and Kaede has her hands ready to strike. Meanwhile, Tex gets in a hand to hand stance as the three circle each other. Their eyes never leaving their opponents. Suddenly, a crate drops down, shielding Tex from the two.
"Hey!" Kaede exclaims.
"Yes! I saved Tucker! Oh wait... I saved Tucker." Caboose groans from... somewhere. "I saved Kaede!"
"Caboose, what're you doing? You're messing up my plan with Simmons. I was supposed to distract her for him." Tucker yells. Kaede then clamps her hands over... where his mouth would be if he wasn't wearing a helmet.
"If you are, why are you yelling it out loud!" Kaede quietly exclaims.
"You ratted me out you son of a bitch!" They both hear Simmons exclaim.
"Oh... oh shit." Tucker groans. The two run around the container as they hear an explosion. The two round the corner to see Tex throw Simmons at them.
"That was awesome." Tucker comments as Kaede catches Simmons with invisible arms. It is then the other two reds get their bearings and ready up.
"What do we do Sarge?" Grif asks.
"I don't know, I've never hit a girl in my life." Sarge says.
"Yeah, I noticed. Try harder." Simmons pleads. Meanwhile Grif picks up a traffic cone to use as a weapon.
"Keep a distance from her." Kaede orders. "If she gets close, I'll push her back. Just keep shooting at her." Tex charges only to be pushed back my and invisible force. Simmons and Sarge fire their rocket launcher and shotgun and miss as Tex retreats to take cover.
"Aim!" Sarge demands.
"Sorry sir!" Simmons squeaks. Large objects are then thrown over Tex's cover upon the likes of a teleporter, a few barrels, and a fairly large storage crate, all of which were deflected easily by Kaede. She then readies her pistol as Tex jumps out from her cover and runs towards them. Before anyone can fire, however, she quickly turns and dives into a nearby teleporter.
Before she can realize what this means, Kaede feels a hard impact in her back. She drops her pistol as she is thrown to the floor. Tex picks up her pistol while beating up the other reds and blue while Kaede slowly recovers.
'Damn. I'm stronger than her, but she keeps outsmarting me someway.' Kaede thinks as she slowly rises to her feet. 'No matter what I try, she'll find a way around it. How can I beat that?'
"Oh no. Grif!" She hears Simmons exclaim. She turns in time to see Tex pull the trigger of her pistol aimed firmly at Grif's head. Expecting the horrible sound of a bang followed by Grifs brains splattering all over the floor, she is pleasantly surprised to hear a clicking sound. Wait, when was she out of ammo?
Thinking back, the only conclusion she could come up with was that she dumped it when she was Nyu. At least one good thing came of her, that she knew of so far.
"Oh. Good things Nyu wasted all her bullets on target practice." Tucker says. Target practice? Kaede didn't think Nyu would be the type from what she heard. Tex then dropped the pistol and readied of a large kick.
"Protect me cone." Grif begged as he help up his "weapon" of choice. Tex, however, did deliver on that kick into his crotch, knocking him into Simmons and the both of them quite a ways away.
"Watch it!" Simmons exclaims
"You watch it." Grif shoots back.
"You idiots, let me show you how its done." Sarge says before getting punched in face so hard, he's thrown over to the other two reds. Tex then knocks Tucker off his feet, but before she can do anymore damage, she is punched back by Kaede's invisible arms.
"We need a new strategy. We can't overpower her." Kaede says to the recovering Tucker.
"Damn. Everything I can think of, I know she'll win anyway." Tucker says.
"She can't be unbeatable." Kaede says. "Think. Did she display any weaknesses during our time together." She quietly mumbles. Oh yeah, wasn't she quite prone to sneak attacks? Kinda ironic for someone like Tex, but this could work. "I got it! You and the Reds try to stay alive and distract her when I'm gone."
"When you're gone? What kinda plan is this?! You're not gonna go kill yourself, are you!" Tucker exclaims.
"No time to explain, and no." Kaede sums up. She then quickly charges at Tex, swinging her invisible hands wildly. 'Unfortunately, this all depends on the slim chance that I won't become Nyu.' She thinks as Tex quickly back pedals out of her striking range. Kaede keeps dodging until Tex kicks an assault rifle laying on the ground at Kaede, making her lose her footing.
She uses her invisible arms to catch herself before she falls, and Tex makes her move. She delivers punch right into Kaede's gut sending her up and away from the fight. The punch hurt like a son of a bitch, but despite this, Kaede barely managed to break her fall with her arms, smashing into various equipment on the way. When she finally lands, she feels herself losing consciousness.
"No. Stay awake, Kaede." Kaede mumbles to herself as she attempts to get up only to stumble back down. "N-no." She whispers before falling unconscious.
"N-nyuuuuu." Nyu cried as she awoke. She hurt all over. Why? Upon opening her eyes, she saw she was inside. Good. Its not hot anymore. Wait! Where is Tucker? Is he safe? Is he alright? Did the bad men get him? Then where is she now? Summoning all the strength she could, she lifted herself up to stand and awkwardly moved towards the sound of a metal banging of some kind.
When she arrived, she was greeted with the sight of Church! However, he was being beaten up by Tex with a metal ball.
"No!" Nyu cries out before jumping on Tex's arm to stop her, however, she is effortlessly thrown off. "Nyuuuuu!" She cries as she lands. Everything hurts. As she gets up, she feels a hand on her shoulder.
"He's got this." She hears someone that sounds like Simmons say. She looks towards the person and- wait, that is Simmons.
"Nyu!" Cries out as she hugs him but quickly pulls back. "Owy." She moans.
"Damn. It looked like she hit you hard. I wouldn't be surprised if some bones are broken." Simmons says.
"Well, you can heal up as we watch these two get reacquainted." Sarge says, referring to Church and Tex.
"Ugh. Yes please." Grif moans as he tosses away the med pack he was holding to his crotch.
"Except you Grif. Go fetch another med pack for Nyu." Sarge orders. Grif gives off a loud groan before stumbling off.
