A sudden "ding dong" rings over the facility, grabbing Nyu's attention.
"Now initiating standard safety protocol. Armor lockdown in progress. All units, stand by for lockdown." A voice says. Nyu watches as Tex is encased in a shield... thing of sorts, immobilizing her.
"What- what's happening? Caboose what did you do to her?" Church frantically asks.
"Yes! Yes! I did it! I am the biggest hero ever! I beat up the girl!" Caboose cheers.
"Hah hah, yes! See, that's how you do it Grif; face your enemy man to man. Or in your case, woefully inadequate man to woman. And then when she's distracted, use superior technology to take her out. *sniff* Reminds me of prom night." Sarge exclaims.
"Nyuuuu." Nyu says. She should watch out for this superior technology.
"We didn't do anything, she shut down." Grif explains.
"I am the best!" They hear Caboose cheer
"Uh, hey guys? What do you think that voice meant by 'all units'?" Simmons questions. The three reds are then encased in the same force field substance.
"Hrr, h-gr I can't move." Sarge grunts
"I did it, I- not my fault! Not my fault! I did not do this! The computer made suggestions! And the default option was yes!" Caboose yells.
"Well this is just great." Grif strains.
"Nyu! Nyu!" Nyu worriedly says before try to move Sarge. When her hand makes contact with the force field, it shocks it and forces it back. "Nyu!" She cries out in pain as she moves back, cradling her hand.
"What's happening? Caboose! Make it stop! Make it-" Church cries before falling victim to the same circumstance.
"Nyu! Nyu!" Nyu cries out to him. She rushes away from the group to find Caboose. After looking around for a bit, she finds the room Caboose was in. "Stop! Stop!" Nyu cries.
"The computer won't let me! She's mean!" Caboose says.
"But Caboose. You haven't even tried. You were too busy saying how it wasn't your fault." The computer says. Then Nyu would try.
"Nyu! Stop..." Nyu didn't know what was happening to them, much less new the words.
"Stop? Stop what?" The computer asks.
"Stop..." Nyu pointed to the frozen Reds and Blues.
"What?" The computer question again.
"Nyu!" She says to Caboose. Urging him to make it stop.
"Ending Armour lock." The computer then says.
"Nyu!" Nyu happily exclaims. She did it! Only Church's unlocked. "Nyu?" She questions.
"Shelia, unlock Tucker too." Church orders. Nyu deflates. She didn't help. Caboose notices this.
"Ah, don't- Don't worry Nyu I'm sure- I'm sure you help Church with the armour lunchable thing." He assures. "And he couldn't have done it with out you.
"Shelia, can they uh, can they hear me?" Church asks.
"Affirmative." Shelia responds.
Caboose presses a button. "She said yes!" His voice was really loud, it made Nyu jump.
"We heard her, dipshit." Tucker calls back.
"I know. I just want to use the microphone. It makes me sound super loud. I'm not sure you can tell." Caboose explains.
"Nyu." Nyu wanted to do that. She hopped over and tried to press the button but Caboose stopped her.
"No Nyu, I'm using the microphone." Caboose says.
"Nyu. Nyuuuuu." Nyu says as she keeps reaching for the button.
"No! I have it!" Caboose exclaims. He accidentally hits the button as the girl and blue soldier wrestle each other, broadcasting thier fight to everyone else in the facility.
"Nyu! Nyu!" Nyu says as she keeps trying to hit the button. Caboose fights back.
"No! Stop Nyu!" Caboose says.
"Shelia, please mute them." Church says amongst the fighting. Shelia complies.
"Aw man." Caboose stops fighting right when Nyu was making a strong push, which causes her to fall to the floor and hit her head. "Oh. Not my fault." Caboose 'apologizes' to the unconscious Nyu.
Once Kaede wakes up and Caboose explains to her what happened, (the best he can) the two join the blues and now unfrozen reds around the still immobilized Tex.
"I'm waking her up." Church declares.
"No way buddy. You must have missed the smashfest we just went through. I ain't repeating that." Sarge brings up.
"I'd have to agree." Kaede adds. "We all know how volatile Tex is, all of us put together can't beat her in a fight. Granted, I wasn't trying to kill her during our fight, but still..."
"Hey, we made a deal: I unlock you, you have to help me with her." Church shoots back.
"I made no such deal." Kaede says.
"I was talking about the Reds." Church says.
"This affects the entire group. I say we put it to a vote. All those in favor of waking her up and letting her kill us, say Aye." Simmons suggests.
"Aye." Church quickly says. "Caboose?"
"Present." Caboose responds.
"No, we're not doing that. Just say aye." Church clarifies.
"You. Oops I mean me!"
"No; Aye."
"Church."
"Just say aye."
"Oh, I get it, right, sorry. My left eye or my right eye?"
"He votes yes."
"I would also like it noted I was present."
"Okay. And everyone in favor of not doing that thing and leaving her asleep and not getting killed by the person we're not going to wake up because nobody is that stupid, say Nay." Sarge counters.
"That was like a, quadruple negative." Simmons complains.
"Just vote." Sarge grumbles
"Nay?" Simmons questions.
"Nyu, I mean, Nay." Kaede says.
"I didn't even understand the question, so I'm just gonna say Blueberry." Grif responds.
"Good answer. You commitment to laziness would be commended if it was something to commend." Kaede pats Grifs shoulder.
"Huh? Sure, yeah, whatever you say Kaede." Grif grumbles.
"Anyway, we win. Majority vote." Kaede beams.
"Fuck it, veto, she comes out." Church declares.
"Thats fucking bullshit!" Kaede cry's out.
"Yeah! Every time you go against democracy, an eagle dies!" Grif adds.
"Oh, we are not having this conversation right now. She comes out end of story." Church affirms. "Sheila, is there any way to turn her, only you know, partway back on?"
"No, I am sorry. I can either leave her in lock, or take her out of lock. There is no in between." Shelia answers.
"So she's either completely asleep, or full-on bitch. Sounds like my ex-wife." Tucker says.
"You were married?" Both Kaede and Caboose question at the same time.
"Haw-ha- gross, I hope not." Tucker says.
"Well, we have to do something." Church says.
"Why do people always say that; We have to do something? We don't have to do anything. Lets just let sleeping maniacs lie." Grif says.
"Sometimes the lazy option is the best option. This is one of those times." Kaede says.
"Yeah!" Grif cheers.
"Aw, damnit private Grif! Now you're corrupting Kaede!" Sarge exclaims.
"Are you saying we SHOULD wake her up to give us an ass kicking again?" Kaede questions. Sarge grumbles, but otherwise stays quiet.
"Here, let me try this." Church suggests before entering his "Ghost" form and entering Tex. Meanwhile, everyone is left to wait.
A short time later, Church comes back out and into his own body.
"What did she say?" Tucker asks.
"Okay, I think we got it all worked out." Church says.
"She cool?" Grif asks.
"As cool as she ever was." Church answers.
"That does not inspire confidence in me." Grif says.
"Wake her up Shelia!" Church calls.
"Affirmative." Shelia responds. The reds silently and quickly back up while Kaede puts up her shield. "Ending recovery mode, all units." Tex gets up with a groan.
"Uh, how're you feeling?" Church asks. Tex responds by walking up to Tucker and punching him. Hard.
"Batter now." Tex responds.
"What the fuck!" Tucker cries out. Kaede is about to attack when Church responds-
"Oh right. I forgot to mention one thing..."
