Soon, UNSC personal arrived and Kaede received proper medical attention (No thanks, Doc). After a swicheroo involving Church's empty armour and Agent Washington and the theft of one of the UNSC's hornets, of which Kaede severally questioned. they were on the way to... some place else.

"What happened with Church?" Kaede finally asks, still shivering from the cold. Why did this thing leave its passengers exposed?

"He went in after her. He didn't come out." Caboose "explains."

"Translation please." Kaede asks.

"Church went inside the memory unit to find Tex, but it shut down and he's trapped inside now." Simmons explains.

"Wha! How do we get him out!" Kaede exclaims.

"Far as Wash explained it, we can't." Simmons explains. "Unless we can magically stumble across someone who can by all logic, get him out."

"Hey, was this thing always this low on fuel when we left?" They hear Grif from the driver seat.

"But I think our concern is surviving the imminent crash to come." Simmons continues.

Memory Unit

"Hey Tucker! I think the reds just got a delivery." Church cries out. This was his seventh iteration so far and needless to say, who knew simply remembering the past was so hard.

"Yeah dude, Nana just scoped it out. She says the Reds got a car of some kind." Tucker says.

"Yeah, the jeep... wait. Who's Nana?" Church asks,

"Nana. You know, the kid we picked up from the orphanage all those years back." Tucker explains.

"Wha- that was Kaede!" Church exclaims.

"Dude, what the hells a caw-day?" Tucker asks.

"Tucker! Tucker!" A girl that, much like Kaede, had pink hair and horns on her head appeared, though her hair was much shorter and her eyes were more magenta then red. "Nana's saw that the car has a big gun on it that can fire really fast!"

"Good job Nana." Tucker says, giving the girl a head pat. "Its a good thing she's so obedient. Those red guys are so screwed."

"Yeah... obedient." Church absentmindedly agrees. 'Okay, so I only miss remembered Kaede. I can still work with this.'

"Yeah! Nana did good! Can Nana get a pat on the head from you papa?" The K.O. Kaede asks.

"Huh?" Church questions.

"Nana wants a pat on the head from you Papa for doing good." Nana explains.

"Yeah, I can't take this. I'm out." Church says before switching to another iteration.

Iteration 9

"We could probably pick up two or three chicks a piece with this thing." Tucker explains as he and Church look at the tank.

"Oh look at you. What are you gonna do with two chicks?" Church asks.

"Church, women are like Voltron. The more you hook up, the better it gets." Tucker explains.

"Yeah... say, wheres Kaede? Shouldn't she be out here with us?" Church asks.

"Kaede? She's probably in the base brooding again." Tucker explains.

"What happened?" Church asks.

"What happened indeed. She's always been like that. Locked in her own room, blasting Korn around the base, dressing like a goth." Tucker says.

"Caboose! Did you let the cat outside!" The two hear Kaede scream from inside.

"He looked like he wanted to play put there." Caboose says defensively.

"Agh! Go get him!" Kaede yells at him.

"Oh, and theres that cat she likes." Tucker says. "And the fact that when she's not angry at everyone, shes strangely happy all the time."

"What?" Church questions.

"Yeah, but thats just how a chick functions." Tucker says.

Iteration 12

"Hey Church! You dropped your grenade." he hears Tucker yell. Church walks over to where Tucker and Kaede are standing guard.

"I didn't drop any. I-" Church stops when he realizes Kaede is wearing black and pink armour of the same type he and Tucker are wearing. "When did you get that armour?"

"Huh? I've always had this. Got it when I enlisted." Kaede says.

"What? You didn't enlist! We accidentally took you from an orphanage!" Church exclaims.

"Uh, yeah I did grow up in an orphanage but once I was old enough, I enlisted." Kaede explains.

"So anyway, Church. The grenade." Tucker gets back on topic. "I was just trying to hit on Kaede when we noticed it."

"I would call that hitting on someone." Kaede says. "That was piss poor at best. Besides, I already have a boyfriend. We're getting married once this whole war thing blows over."

"From that Kouta guy you keep talking about?" Tucker questions.

"Oh my God, stop! The grenade came from the reds you fucking morons. And once again I misremembered Kaede again. At least its not a Female Caboose and Nyu team up again." Church sighs.

"What the hell is he talking about?" Kaede asks.

"The fuck should I know? Anyway, you should get with me. I can show you a way better time than that Kouta guy." Tucker prompts.

Iteration 28

Church arrived in the iteration to find a bunch of pink haired horned girls all in various clothing, crawling around the place.

"What the fuck! How does this even happen!" Church exclaims.

Iteration 35

Church took a look around. Everything seemed normal. Church looked to Tucker. He looked normal.

"Okay, what have we got today?" Church asks.

"Temple, Mariko found her way into my masturbatorium and she saw... things. I told you it was your responsibility to keep her out!" Tucker exclaims.

"Guys! I did it! I found the cure to the vector virus!" Caboose jumps in.

"Yeah! Whatever Loco!" Tucker calls at him.

"I'm sorry, I'm so confused." Church says.

"Its simple. KEEP MARIKO OUT OF MY ROOM." Tucker exclaims.

"I cannot fathom how the iterations keep turning out like this. You'd think the names would at least be right." Church mutters before moving on to another iteration.

Iteration 42

When Church appeared, he saw Kaede walking towards him from the red base. probably got done with another of her secret visits.

"Hey Kaede, hows your day going?" Church asks.

"Its been great." Kaede smiles. Church notices she is missing her horns. Whatever, slight cosmetic fluke. So long as she acted the same, it was fine. "That smell..." Kaede says as she smelt the air. Curious, Church also sniffed the air.

"I don't smell anything." Church says as Kaede takes a few steps closer.

"Sorry. I can't." Kaede says.

"You can't what?" Church warily asks.

"I can't hold myself back! Because I am a vampire!" Kaede cries as she lunges onto to Church, biting his neck. Church cries out as he feels fangs sink into his skin. "So yummy." Kaede says as she continues to suck Church's blood.

Damn! How many iterations would he go before this was over!

Another Universe: Hokkaido

With high school over with Kouta prepared himself for what was to come next. He was thinking of going to college, but seeing at his low grades he was probably gonna end up at one of the low end ones. The closest one of the "Safety schools" as he liked to call them, was in Kamakura. He would probably have to move their to attend. Yuka could help him out, if she wasn't moving anywhere else that is.

Unlike him Yuka was smart, and got good grades all around. At least, thats what he heard. She was probably headed off to a more high end college. A thought then hit him. What if Kaede could be going to that same safety school he was attending? It was nice thought, but one he brushed aside. 'Its been eight years now. She probably doesn't even remember me.' Kouta thinks to himself. 'And besides, what are the chances that she'll end up there?'

AN: Holy fuck have I been busy this hiatus. Haven't even got time to write much down. (Don't worry. So far the next chapter is fully written and ready to go and both the chapter after that and the Halloween special are halfway done, so I'm not falling behind.) It may take longer to update, so don't go worrying if a week or two passes and no new chapter.
