After arriving at the facility and navigating through the maze that was the main building, the Reds, Blues, Wash, and Kaede found Carolina kneeling defeated surrounded by what looked like Tex clones.

"B-better luck next time, C-Carolina." She hears one utter out in a distorted, robotic voice. Kaede spies Donut ready three plasma grenades in one hand, and she knew this would be the coolest she ever saw him. He threw all three which hit separate targets with deadly accuracy and stuck smack on their face.

"Nine points, ya dirty whores!" He cries out at the robots. Carolina rolls towards the group just as the grenades explode. Wash extends his hand towards her.

"Get up." He orders.

"What are you doing here?" Carolina asks, genuinely confused. She takes Wash's hand, and is hoisted to her feet.

"I told you they're not so bad once you get to know them." Wash tells her before handing her his pistol.

"Oh. I thought this wasn't your fight." Church says as he appears.

"Come on, overwhelming odds with little to no chance of success? How could we resist?" Sarge tells him

"You got a problem with that, Church?" Tucker asks.

"Guys, I am an asshole. I admit it, and I will gladly accept any and all smart-ass remarks after this is over. But I'd like to point out the fact, that we're standing in a room full of crazy Freelancer robots that are ready to completely and utterly fuck our shit up." Church points out.

"Oh, I knew you were just angry and didn't mean what you said. No hard feelings." Kaede tells him.

"God, you are just an unbearable optimist." Grif groans.

"That depends on the situation." Kaede informs him.

"Cheesy forgiveness speech later, then?" Tucker asks.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Sarge agrees.

"Lock and load people." Carolina announces as she checks her pistol. Everyone readies their weapons including Kaede who readies both her invisible arms and pistol for use. Caboose then charges into the mob of Tex bots without warning, plowing through a good number of them before coming to a stop.

"My name is Michael J. Caboose." Caboose says in a deep voice. "And I..." He slams his assault rifle into an approaching Tex. "hate..." He uppercuts one and sends it flying into the air. He drops kicks another and sends it plowing through the other robots. He grabs one by the legs and swings it around before letting it go and crash into the other drones. Then, he stands. "TAXES!"

"Its Texas you idiot!" Grif yells to him.

"That too." Caboose agrees before firing his assault.

"Come on everyone! Nows our chance!" Washington orders. And with that, the group charge.

"For our ancestors' ancestors! Attack!" Sarge screams before the two forces collide. Kaede fires off her pistol at the group before getting in range to start using her invisible arms to tear apart the Tex bots. From there, she uses her arms to both defend herself and attack along with her pistol at the oncoming Tex bots all while taking care not to accidentally attack one of her friends.

Two tried to attack from above, only to get sliced up by her arms as she shot another one. She pushed back three that tried attacking her from behind right into the path of a charging Caboose. Kaede backs up as she slashes and shoots the near unlimited bots. She looks to her sides to see she's backed into a circle created by the Reds, Blues, Wash, and Carolina.

"It's not working! There's too many of them!" Simmons cries.

"Anyone got any suggestions! I'm surprised we've even lasted this long since its Tex!" Kaede yells.

"Well, these ones feel weaker than the usual." Tucker explains.

"Bullshit. Feels the same to me." Grif complains.

"Well does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this then!" Kaede reaffirms.

"Alright, stand back everybody. This is going to get a little...personal." Church says. Church splits himself up into hundreds of copies and enters the drones.

"Wha... whats going on?" Kaede asks, alarmed by the multiple Churchs.

"He's searching for the real Tex. From there, he'll end this." Wash explains.

"You think that little fairy of a blue can beat that half shark, quarter jaguar, quarter cybernetic murder woman?" Sarge asks. Then, the robots stopped moving and glitch out a bit before they all drop to the ground followed by Church reappearing.

"Uh, you know, you could have done that before I got punched in the nuts by twenty of them at once." Grif says.

"Yeah, but where's the fun in that?" Tucker responds.

"Nice going there, Church. I guess sometimes little fairies really do make wishes come true." Sarge says.

"I could have told you that!" Donut exclaims.

"Why didn't you then?" Kaede asks.

"So... I guess our work here is done?" Simmons asks.

"There's still the director." Wash reminds them

"No. What comes next, Carolina and I need to do alone." Church tells them. Church then disappears and Carolina slowly walks into the next room.

"So... we wait outside and make it all dramatic for when they get out?" Donut asks.

"Lets just go." Sarge groans in agreement. Before long, the group has moved outside where Caboose and Donut find Carolina's mongoose to play with while Kaede watches them to be sure they're safe. The others simply wait for Carolina and Church.

Eventually, the two emerge from the facility.

"Any shit any shit happen while we were gone?" Church asks,

"No. Its pretty quiet considering who we're talking about." Kaede answers. "Did you do what you needed to do?" She asks.

"What I needed to do, yes. What I wanted to do, no so much." Church answers.

"Huh?" Kaede asks. "What do you mean."

"Lets just say, I relearned a valuable lesson." Church tells her. Caboose and Donut, finished with the mongoose, begin playing catch with a ball Donut had.

"I would also like to apologize for my behaviour towards you and the others." Carolina tells Kaede.

"Oh, um, it- its no problem." Kaede says.

"Carolina's gonna be sticking with us from now on. We've been talking of heading back to Blood Gulch. After all, it seems to be where we belong." Church tells her.

"Hey! Is that what I think it is!" They hear Tucker exclaim.

"Blood Gulch? Can't we just go back to the place we were at earlier, Valhalla? It has nicer weather." Kaede argues.

"I mean... I guess that could work too." Church mutters.

"I'm sure we can discuss it with the others." Carolina assures them. Donuts ball lands in between the group then.

"Hey Caboose! You dropped your ball!" Kaede yells to him.

"Kaede, don't you recognize that?" Tucker asks her as the rest of the BGC approach.

"No. Should I?" Kaede asks, looking at the ball. It was purple and sort of alien looking in design. The ball began glowing.

"Hey, I remember that." Church says. "Thats the thing that-"

A bright flash of light encompassed the area, after it subsided everyone was gone.

Japan - Kamakura

A bright flash of light engulfed the beach that, once extinguished, revealed 8 soldiers, 1 A.I., and 1 pink haired girl.

"-Brought us to Kaede..." Church finally finishes.

"This was the teleporting grenade you talked about?" Wash asks Kaede.

"Nyu?" Nyu asks.

"What?" Wash voices.

"Transporting must have caused her to switch personality's." Simmons explains. "Strange. Using a teleporter never caused this effct on her before."

"Nyuuuuu." Nyu says in awe as she surveys the place.

"Maybe cause it transported us further than you think." Tucker says.

"What do you mean by that?" Simmons asks.

"Well if you'll see, before you is Kamakura Japan. Kaede's hometown." Tucker says. Simmons looks around.

"It looks like a city from 5 centuries ago." He responds.

"Yeah. We've either teleported through time, or through dimensions." Tucker says.

"That doesn't sound possible." Carolina says.

"Clearly its possible if we're here." Sarge says. "Maybe when Kaede wakes up, she can take us on a tour. Maybe find a new Red base here."

"Really?" Grif groans.

"Awesome! Lets do its Sarge!" Donut agrees.

"Nyu!" Nyu happily exclaims as she runs into the city to look around more. This place looked amazing!

"Yay!" Caboose cries as he follows after her.

"Looks like we have to catch up with our kids first." Church says.

Yuka stood waiting at the train station for over ten minutes now. He should be here. She checked her watch, and sure enough, his train should have passed through the station. Maybe it was early and since Kouta would have gotten off, he wouldn't have seen her and wandered off on his own. Damn it. Everything is already not going according to plan. Yuka was just about to leave when she heard some one yelling down the street.

"Nyu!" A girl with a blue bow in her waist length pink hair ran by with a look of pure excitement on her face.

"Wait for me, Nyu!" What looked like a man in blue, futuristic armour ran by chasing after the girl.

"Ju- Just what the heck is going on!" Yuka cries out. The two ignore her and disappear down another street. That was strange. No matter. Its unlikely those two would cross paths with her again anyway.
