Class 1-A had dealt with many unplanned events since the very beginning of their high school career and every event had never failed to make them utterly speechless. This situation was of no exception. The twenty students, even including Bakugo, watched in fear as the celestial mage sported an enraged expression, one that both Bakugo and Midoriya knew meant inescapable fury. After her declaration to the sky, Lucy immediately ran into the direction of the fire.
"Leave this idiot to me!" She shouted without giving anyone a chance to protest.
Before Aizawa or All Might could usher the class to retreat to where the dorms were, Bakugo gnashed his teeth and immediately started blasting his way to follow the blonde girl, ignoring the cries of his teachers. Midoriya, not understanding why the ash blonde boy was following Lucy, then felt his own body move and using One For All, began racing behind Bakugo. Not far behind the greenette, Todoroki had also begun to follow him, surfing through the area using his ice. Both Aizawa and All Might not having a chance to stop them.
The underground pro hero, seeing them follow Lucy without his consent, only groaned in annoyance whilst massaging his temples. He was going to have to punish those three once everything is over. "These problem children, I swear..." Aizawa complained under his breath before turning to All Might. "Keep watch of my class and have them evacuate with the others. Punish anyone who disobeys."
All Might nodded in understanding and watched as the black headed man began to follow the three students into the fire. Lucy had been deemed a hero upon her arrival so she had every right to go into danger, and by the sounds of it, she knew who was the cause of the fire. The same with Midoriya, though instructions from Aizawa should come first, he did have his Hero License so he was qualified to go in and help as well. It was Todoroki and Bakugo, who had yet to earn their license, that were going to be the most in trouble.
"Well, you all heard Aizawa." All Might said as he began moving the class along to follow the other students. "Get over there and wait with everyone else while he gets your three classmates."
If Natsu had expected to find himself in his current situation, he would only be fooling himself. Not only did he have no idea where he was (the lack of ethernano in the air made him believe he was in Edolas for about two hours), but he and Happy seemed to have been separated from everyone else after that bright light surrounded Lucy. Both dragon slayer and exceed had fallen from hole on the side of the building and landed on a side walk of some shopping district from what they could make out.
He had freaked out greatly when he saw Happy at first. The dragon slayer didn't see Happy and Carla return while he and Gray were fighting nor did he sense his presence, smell his scent or heard him approaching. The blue exceed was also confused as to why he was there with Natsu when he should've been flying with Carla to show the authorities the way to the restrained thieves. But then he recalled a bright light blinding him and Carla and concluded that that must've been the one to bring him and Natsu wherever they were.
Everyone around them looked at them weirdly, and every time he asked where in Fiore he was, the answer he would always receive was that no one knew where Fiore was and that he was in a place called Japan. Walking around the district, Natsu and Happy noticed that not everyone seemed human. In fact, though there were many humans around, some had heads of a bird or a snake, extra body parts and some were even down right invisible save for their clothes.
Both he and Happy ended up wandering around aimlessly for four hours, trying to find any more clues as to where they were and catch the scents of his teammates. For some reason, it seemed like Gray, Erza, Wendy and Carla's scents were no where to be foundm, but after turning onto a busy street in a city called Musutafu, Natsu caught the scent of his blonde best friend and partner next to Happy. Smirking at finally locating one of his friends, Natsu made a mad dash for Lucy's location.
The closer he got, the more stronger Lucy's scent became. It was obvious to him that wherever she was up on the crazy tall hill, she was probably still there. When he got there, he was met with the entrance of some huge building, a wall surrounding the entire area. Catching his breath from all the running he had done, Natsu began walking through the gates. Unfortunately, the moment his foot crossed onto the walkway, loud alarms rang throughout the area and before he could blink, the gates were sealed.
Banging on the doors and realizing they wouldn't open, the fire dragon slayer became impatient and took in a deep breath, casting a large Fire Dragon's Roar at the gate. But to his surprise, the door not only resisted his fire (while his attack had set trees on fire and melted some of the wall), but it also reflected it in a way that it would shoot upwards to the sky. Dismissing his attack, Natsu took a step back with eyes narrowed. If the door wouldn't budge, he would just have to melt everything else.
"I don't know what kind of spell you got on this door, but it ain't stopping me ya hear!?" Natsu cried as he took another deep breath. "Fire Dragon's... Roar!"
As he continued to roar at the door, the walls on either side also melting as he did so, his ears began to twitch at the sound of a familiar voice in the distance. One that made him fear for his life as the celestial mage's scent got closer to his position. "NATSU DRAGNEEL! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, YOU ARE SO DEAD!"
At Lucy's threat, Natsu dispersed his fire, seeing the gates finally scorched enough for him to breath through with Fire Dragon's Iron Fist and the walls halfway melted to the ground. His first intention was to run and hide from Lucy before she could land a 'Lucy Kick' to his face or something but at the same time, he could hear running from the other side and four new scents following Lucy's not too far behind. Thinking they were enemies, Natsu turned around and prepared himself to bring down the gates.
Unfortunately, as he was making his running start to blow the gates open, said scorched gates opened on their own the dragon slayer was met with a a flying kick to his cheek. The sandal being worn creating a bright red mark on his face. As Natsu landed on the ground, a blast of cold water was blasted in his face and he had thought it to be Juvia. Yet once he recovered, his body began to shake in fear as a he was met with Lucy's angered eyes looking down on him while her arms were crossed.
"L-Lucy!" He was able to stutter out.
"Hello Natsu." She said with malice laced into her voice. "Mind telling me what the heck you were doing, practically destroying the gates, melting the barrier walls AND the buildings inside, hm?"
The dragon slayer couldn't meet the piercing eyes of his blonde partner as it practically mirrored that of Mira's and Erza's glare, but then his gaze drifted to behind Lucy and he could see someone dashing towards the both of them with explosions coming from his hands and a look that resembled Gajeel's but with more bloodlust in it. But it was when the ash blonde boy, that seemed around the same age as Wendy, brought his hand forwards that Natsu got up swiftly and pushed Lucy behind him.
"DIE VILLAIN!" The boy declared as Lucy's eyes widened at the sight of him.
"Don't you dare touch Lucy, bastard!" Natsu retorted.
As the boy set off another explosion, the fire dragon slayer opened his mouth and ate the fire that came from it - leaving the boy completely dumbfounded. The ash blonde boy gnashed his teeth and jumped a few feet back to get some distance, raising his arm up in front of him while connecting his index finger and thumb to create a circle. Natsu just smirked and lit his two hands on fire to cast a Fire Dragon's Wing Attack, but was stopped when Lucy grabbed both his hands and washed his fire away with her water.
"Izuku! Todoroki!" Natsu heard Lucy call.
Confused as to who this 'Izuku' and 'Todoroki' was, he turned to face front to see ash blonde set off his attack. But at the last second, a flash of green lightning and ice came up from behind the ash blonde boy and made him face his attack towards the sky. A large blast of explosions being set off past the clouds. Smelling how good it tasted, Natsu began to inhale a small part of the explosion to head his way. He ate it happily, realizing that it had the taste of caramel on it, satisfying his stomach greatly.
"Wow, thanks for the meal!" Natsu said with a grin, acting like nothing had transpired. "That sure filled up my belly!"
"DAMMIT ICYHOT! DAMN NERD! LET GO OF ME RIGHT NOW!"
Lucy groaned and just grabbed the dragon slayer from the ear tightly, causing Natsu to fall to his knees as he allowed Lucy to drag him towards the three students. As she got closer, Bakugo stopped struggling from Midoriya's and Todoroki's hold. Lucy's seething anger had yet to subside and now she was not only going to take it out on Natsu, who so rightfully deserved it, but on Bakugo as well. Once the blonde mage was right in front of the trio, Midoriya and Todoroki let go of Bakugo as he just stood in place, paralyzed.
"Katsuki... what the hell were you trying to pull just now?" She asked in a malicious tone like how she greeted Natsu. "Did you purposely let out that attack, knowing that I was behind this idiot and that I could've gotten hurt?"
Midoriya and Todoroki couldn't help but shiver at her tone of voice. True, her expression earlier after yelling at the sky for whatever reason was scary enough to send chills down their spines, but the poison in her voice was more terrifying than any expression she could make. Especially since she was talking with the most innocent smile on her lips. Natsu mentally prayed for the ash blonde boy to survive, knowing full well the capabilities of Lucy's anger.
"Um Luce?" Natsu spoke up in a timid voice. "In his defense... I could've eaten the explosion no problem and-"
"Natsu, another word out of you and I will personally tell Erza about everything you did in detail and have her deal with you once she arrives in this world."
Upon mention of the scarlet haired S-Class mage and ignoring her mention of being in another world, Natsu shut his mouth and whimpered softly. "Yes ma'am!"
As Lucy continued to try and get an answer out of Bakugo, who realized that Lucy had only gotten more terrifying than what he remembered from childhood, Aizawa had finally arrived at the scene only to be left speechless. Other than the fact that the gates were completely scorched and parts of the wall and some nearby buildings being partially melted, everything seemed to be perfectly fine and intact. And from what he could see, Bakugo was already getting a scolding, so he only needed to deal with Midoriya and Todoroki.
Soon, Nezu and Recovery Girl came running, the latter ready to heal anyone who was injured. But both mirrored Aizawa's expression as they watched Lucy scold Bakugo while holding, whom they assumed to be the trespasser, by the ear. "Ignoring the fact as to why three of your students are here, Eraserhead, it seems Ms. Heartfilia has everything under control." Nezu noted.
"And no one seems to be injured thankfully. Luckily we didn't call authorities." Recovery Girl added with a sigh of relief. "It seems like the pink headed boy knows the girl. His quirk, and her's from what I saw online, was so impressive from afar but both he and she seem to not be any older than any of our senior students."
"Believe me when I say there is more to the story that I have yet to inform you and the rest of the faculty about our two visitors, Recovery Girl." Nezu replied. "I assume she's told you and All Might of that, Eraserhead?"
Aizawa only nodded as he watched Bakugo brush Lucy off without giving her a proper answer and turned away from the group, making the blonde's anger subside and finally relax. "She has. Though she said nothing about this fellow."
"Neither have I, but I'm sure he's nothing to worry about now that Ms. Heartfilia is here."
"NATSU~~~!"
The three were then pulled out of their conversation, along with the five teens, when another voice called in the distance. Both Natsu and Lucy, recognized the voice and turned around to see their flying blue exceed come up the road with a tired expression. As the three students and three teachers stood in place with their mouths wide open, the celestial mage dropped Natsu immediately and ran towards the blue feline to catch him before he fell from exhaustion.
"Happy!" She cried as she cradled him in her arms. "Are you okay!?"
"Lucy!" The exceed cried in relief as he just let his body relax and his wings disappear. "Natsu... he just suddenly... ran all the way up this hill... without me... and I had to... fly through... this insane crowd... just to catch up to him."
"O-Oh, my bad little buddy." Natsu apologized while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "Didn't realize that I had left you behind!"
"I can't believe you Natsu! I swear-"
"Um... Lucy?" When the blonde heard Midoriya's voice, she turned around to face him when she realized that Nezu, Aizawa and Recovery Girl were also watching them. She mentally sighed, knowing that she had some explaining to do as well as compensate for the destroyed property. Hopefully, they would accept her jewels as payment. "Is that a talking cat?"
After apprehending Natsu from more destruction, Lucy apologized to Nezu on his behalf while Aizawa began to scold his three students (Midoriya and Todoroki more so than Bakugo since the boy seemed to have gotten enough from the celestial mage). Lucky for her, Crux came out on his own accord and told her that there was a spell in the book that brought them to Japan that could reverse the damage. The cost being a good portion of Lucy's magic power being drained since it was a time spell, a magic she wasn't well versed in.
Since she didn't really want to pay for such massive damage with the little jewel she had, who knows how much the gate cost alone, Lucy just sighed and opened the book and turned to its respective spell. Besides Recovery Girl, everyone else present from this world was already aware of Lucy's magical capabilities and knew better than to doubt the idea of being able to turn back time. Besides, they already had Eri, who's quirk was literally turning back time on humans, under their protection.
They watched in awe as Lucy's body was surrounded in her golden aura, her arm extended in front of her as a beam of light bursted from her finger tips as it surrounded the scorched doors. The six quirk users watched in wide eyes as the gates began to revert to their prior state, the light then spreading out to the damaged walls and reverting them to normal as well. Once that was done, without hesitation, Lucy passed through the open gates and reverted any damaged building as well. Everything back as if nothing happened.
When she fixed the final building, the blonde girl fell to her knees in exhaustion. Luckily, Natsu dashed to her side and caught her before she collided with the ground. "Luce! You good? Your magic power..." Natsu asked, feeling slightly guilty since she casted the spell to fix his mistakes.
Lucy realized that she must've used a lot more of her magic power than she had thought. Midoriya, Todoroki and Happy rushed after her with worried looks (Bakugo mostly just walked over) but she just brushed them off while Natsu helped her sit up. 'I'm not completely low on it but I definitely used more than half...' She thought looking up at the three students.
"Lucy!" Happy cried worriedly, flying over to her and landing on her lap.
"You're not completely drained of your magic power, are you Big Sis Lucy!?" Midoriya asked, unsure of what to do.
'Big Sis?' Natsu and Happy thought in unison as they met eye contact with the blonde.
The celestial mage, sensing their confusion, just waved them off. "I'll explain everything in a bit." She reassured them as she stood up. "Izuku, you don't have to keep calling me that, you know? You were calling me Lucy just fine a while ago."
The greenette blushed in embarrassment, the action causing the dragon slayer and exceed of Wendy. "Sorry... I guess I can't help it."
Lucy just smiled softly at the boy and ruffled his head. "I can tell. You still call Katsuki by his childhood name while he still calls you Deku. It's nice to see you like the name now though." She said. "You and Katsuki can call me whatever you both want."
Bakugo just scoffed as he crossed his arms and turned away from the group. "Tch... I didn't ask for your permission, Blondie."
"But Heartfilia... are you really okay though?" Todoroki asked. "You seemed pretty exhausted just a few seconds ago."
The blonde girl then told them that it was just because there wasn't much ethernano in the air and unlike usual, in which her body naturally refills on magic power with ease, her body had to take the particle in sparingly as a means to keep the flow of ethernano in the air going. It was then that Natsu popped the question as to where exactly were they and what exactly brought them in this 'weird place', as he called it. That's when Lucy decided that it was best to explain everything once they both found a place to stay.
Which is how the trio found themselves at Class 1-A's dorms with Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki and Aizawa. The pro hero had thought it best that the three fairies were better off under the watchful eye of U.A. After all, the media was looking all over for Lucy as to question her and if Natsu and Happy were to be included in that, who knows what would happen. Nezu, agreeing with that idea, then decided that the three stay at Class 1-A's dorms, much to Aizawa's annoyance even though he wasn't surprised.
On their way to the dorms, the three students realized that the alarms had gone off and that the student body was returning to their dorms. Looks like the staff was going to have to discuss what had happened and what the situation was. Walking behind Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki, Lucy began filling in Natsu and Happy what their situation was and just what kind of world they were in. The dragon slayer was pumped when he heard that everyone in the school had different sets of unique powers and couldn't wait for a fight.
Once they got to the dorms, Aizawa reassured the class that everything was fine and that it wasn't a villain who had attacked the school. He then informed then that classes had been cancelled for the day and they were free to do whatever they want at the dorms, much to the majority of the class' pleasure. They were about to celebrate when Aizawa glared at them, enabling his quirk while he was it, to settle them down to add in the other news, gesturing to the fairies.
"Oh, and these three will be staying with you for the time being." He added as he began to leave the dorms. "Don't go causing trouble and keep an eye on them."
Natsu then stepped up, his signature grin plastered on his face. "Alright! Now that the boring stuff is outta the way, yo! My name is Natsu Dragneel of the Fairy Tail guild, but you guys can just call me Natsu! Sorry for the scare earlier. I thought Luce was being held captive here or something."
"He can go overboard sometimes, sorry. But my name is Happy, Natsu's loyal exceed!" Happy added.
"Oh it's no problem, we were just surprised and all so-" As the dragon slayer's casual apology sunk into Yaoyorozu's mind, along with everyone else's, their mouths all dropped to the floor.
"NO WAY! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WAS BLASTING ALL THAT FIRE!?" They all exclaimed.
Natsu and Happy blinked twice in confusion as Lucy just facepalmed and sighed. "Gee, is it that surprising?"
"Well, when Lucy told us of your type of magic before running off, we expected a monster or something! I mean we have a hero here who's quirk can actually turn them into a dragon, but you're just on a different level!" Kaminari said. "I bet Endeavor, who's fire quirk is the strongest out there, wouldn't be able to stand yours!"
"Wow! You said you're an exceed, right!?" Ashido asked as she picked up Happy, the girls surrounding the blue feline. "What is that anyway? A type of species in your world? How are you able to talk!?"
Happy just chuckled, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "Well actually... it's a little complicated."
Lucy watched the scene with a small smile while leaning against the wall and her arms crossed. Natsu was always like this whenever people younger than him marvelled at his strength. He was like that with Romeo since he was young, the same with Wendy and now with Asuka. It was when she heard a grunt that she watched from the corner of her eye as Bakugo began to leave the common area and go up the elevator, Midoriya and Todoroki's eyes following his disappearing figure with a worried expression.
Realizing that she had yet to have a proper conversation with her adoptive younger brother, save for her scolding back at the school's entrance but that didn't really count, the blonde girl decided that Natsu and Happy would be fine in the common room telling Class 1-A of their many adventures in the guild. So, she went and tapped Izuku's shoulder from behind, getting both his and Todoroki's attention and pointed towards the elevator with one hand while the other rested on her hip.
"Mind telling me which floor Katsuki's room is? I need to talk to him." She said as Midoriya only replied with a nervous look.
Todoroki, sensing his hesitation, answered for him. "I'm not sure if that is wise, Heartfilia." He said, causing Lucy to tilt her head to the side. "Usually, when Bakugo retreats to his room like that, it's probably best to leave him alone."
The celestial mage just chuckled at his concern for most likely her safety. She didn't blame him though. After all, both Izuku and Katsuki had yet to see her for almost a decade now. Knowing the greenette, Lucy could easily tell that he believed Katsuki had changed so much since they were kids and she could see how it may be true. But she didn't take pride in being his older sister for nothing. Since her explanation in the Gamma Gym, she knew something was off with his behaviour.
"Thanks for the concern, Todoroki." She said, placing a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "I may have thought my time here was a dream, but I know Katsuki just as much as Izuku does. Well... understand him is probably the better word. I don't really know what he's like nowadays save for what Gemini told me earlier."
"But you'll still go and talk to Kacchan, right?" Midoriya asked as she gave him a firm nod. The greenette sighed and put a hand on the back of his neck. "His room is on the fourth floor. There's a label next to the doors so it should be easy to find."
Lucy ruffled his head again and turned on her heel to walk away. "Thanks! make sure Natsu keeps out of trouble for me okay?" She asked, before pausing to rush back to the two and grab Midoriya's shoulders. "How much food do you have in your fridge!? Actually! Better yet, how much food do you hold in your kitchen!?"
Todoroki raised his eyebrow at her quick turn around, wondering why the celestial mage would even ask that. "Uh... we have two fridges and a large pantry for canned foods, snacks and other things. But why do you-"
"Have some of your classmates, lock the pantry and fridges unless it's time to eat! It's important that you do!"
"What!? Why do we gotta do that, Lucy?"
"Listen Izuku, unless you want a month's worth of food supply to disappear in one whole night, you WILL lock up the fridges and pantry for protection!"
"I still fail to understand what the point in all this is, Heartfilia."
Lucy shot a glare to Todoroki as she pointed directly at Natsu and Happy socializing with everyone else. "Ever heard that dragons have big appetites? Well let me tell you: It. Is. Very. Much. True!" She said in a hushed and annoyed tone. "And that cat? He will eat all your fish within three seconds, I can guarantee you that!"
"...Oh."
As soon as Bakugo made it to his room, he stripped himself of his hero costume and put on his black tank top and some house shorts. Grabbing his towel he wiped off any remaining sweat that was on his arms and neck and just sat down on his bed in silence. The only light present being the one peeking through his drawn curtains. He had received a big earful from Lucy and though he should be frustrated, he actually felt somewhat relieved than anything else.
It had felt like a lie to him, seeing Lucy in front of him and Deku with the smile on her face still the same as when they were kids. He used to be shorter than her. Now, he towered over her by a few inches. She wasn't quirkless anymore like Deku, though she already explained that it was magic that she had and not a quirk, and she was stronger than he would like to admit. Bakugo was ready to forgive her for not coming back all those years, but that went down the drain when she revealed that she was from another world.
To him, it felt like the world was punishing him even further. Regardless of the fact that he got over his guilt from basically being the reason for All Might's retirement, Bakugo knew there were some other mistakes he had made thanks to his over confidence. He believed that, in the end, Lucy being there was just some dream. And like every dream, she would disappear back into his subconsciousness as a faded memory. She was his big sister after all. He wanted her to stay and not leave again... as childish as that sounded.
Her leaving almost a decade ago made both him and Deku sad. His and Deku's mom would always come up with excuses as to why they couldn't contact Lucy, not even so much as a phone call. And when he realized that she was never coming back, Bakugo realized that he was back to being the only child in a big house. Him being a child, he believed Lucy to have abandoned him and that she decided to forget him and Deku. He called her a liar and a fake... even though he never really meant it.
That's why when she began scolding him back at the school gates, the first thing he had thought was: 'Ah... so my big sister really has come back'. He was relieved that the girl in front of him wasn't an illusion (because no dream could ever make Lucy scold him in a realistic manner), even though he knew she would have to leave with her friends eventually. He wanted to talk to her like old times when she used to live in his house, but with everyone down there... he just couldn't.
So when he heard a knock at his door, assuming it was Deku (because only Deku would dare to knock on his door when he clearly wanted to be alone), the ash blonde boy was ready to blow him up. Only to hear a completely different voice and see a completely different person on the other side of the door. "Katsuki? I'm opening the door."
His body stood paralyzed as the blonde girl stepped into his room to close the door behind her. He didn't think that she would follow him up there, especially since everyone including her two weird friends were downstairs. "...Lu- What're you doing here, Blondie?" He asked, channelling his tough persona and crossing his arms.
Lucy just rolled her eyes as she walked passed his body and further into his room. "I'm just going to ignore the fact you'd rather call me 'Blondie' than by my name and open your curtains." She said. "It's too dark and dreary in here."
"Tch. I was just... planning to take a nap."
"Yeah right." She retorted letting the afternoon sun in and then taking a seat on his bed. "You always kept saying you were old enough to not take naps anymore and insisted that naps make it harder for you to fall asleep at night. Plus, you can't lie to save a life, you're noble like that."
Not liking how she saw through him, Bakugo just scoffed and leaned his body on his dresser. "So? What do you want? Did the nerd and Icyhot or anyone else put you up to this?"
"No. I came here on my own accord. Izuku and Todoroki actually tried to stop me." Lucy replied as a matter-of-factly, pausing to stare outside the window. "I came 'cause I know something is bothering you."
"What's it to you?"
"Of course I'm concerned. I'm your sis-"
"You are not my sister."
"Katsuki... I-"
"My sister left almost a decade ago and never came back. She forgot about me and Deku and decided that it was better off to abandon us. Yeah, Deku cried but he got over it. Eventually, he left her in the past and I did too! So don't go trying to pretend to be someone you're not! You're just wasting your time."
It was silent for what felt like an eternity. Bakugo hadn't meant to say all those things, but they just soft of came out the more he spoke. He had expected Lucy to react negatively. Whether she would just leave silently or feel guilty and then leave, he didn't really care. But no. Of course, she didn't leave. When the ash blonde boy looked at her, he was just met with a small smile and soft brown eyes. The same eyes his sister would hold whenever she could feel his pain from using his quirk to the point of damaging his hands.
"...When I woke up after leaving, I ran to my mother and asked her if I could play with Izuku and Katsuki." Lucy finally spoke. "But she acted like she knew nothing and told me that I must've dreamt you, Izuku, auntie Mitsuki, uncle Masaru and auntie Inko up. When I asked Capricorn about it, he said the exact same thing."
Bakugo's eyes widened when he heard that. 'They lied to her about us?'
"I was sad for about a week and a half... and I soon believed that everything was just a dream I would soon forget, but I didn't." She continued, lacing her hands together. "Coming back here, I realized that my mother probably wanted me to forget about you all... because she and Capricorn knew that I wouldn't be able to come back. Same with auntie Mitsuki and auntie Inko."
"How do you know that?"
"After arriving here yesterday and escaping the media, auntie Inko was the one to find me and jog my memory. She immediately brought me back to your house and when I saw your mom and dad, I cried so much out of relief and happiness. I told them about my world and they told me about yours. How you and Izuku were and what they did after I left."
"Hmph... old hag spoke too much again, didn't she?"
"Maybe a bit." Lucy replied, chuckling lightly at how her reunion with the Bakugo couple went. "But I was relieved. In the end, I just knew my over confident and impulsive brother was the same as I remembered... albeit with small differences."
Still holding in his emotions, not wanting to get all mushy, the ash blonde boy turned to meet eye contact with Lucy when she said that he was the same as before with smaller differences. "Hah!? What's that mean?"
Lucy chuckled again, knowing that he would react like that, further proving herself right. "You're still competitive and determined to be a hero. You still won't hesitate to bring a villain down when nearby. You're still aggressive and impulsive. You still tease Izuku and you still can't lie." He grumbled at her points. "But you're much stronger and capable than before. You acknowledge your peers in silence."
"I don't give a damn about any of those shitty extras! Besides, you wouldn't know! Your spirit thing didn't mention any of it!"
"Actually, I was watching your class from afar before making my entrance." Lucy stated, causing him to gape at her. "You say you don't give a damn, yet with Kirishima and Kaminari, you don't hold back on your strength when sparring. You know that they're both strong and I could see the determined grins on all three of your faces. The three of you were trying to push each other past your limits."
"Tch... what are you? A stalker now?"
Lucy just smiled as she stood up from his bed and walked over so that she stood in front of him. "Nope! I'm your sister!" She said, making him turn away from her since he couldn't refute that statement. "Now stop being all grumpy and accept that I'm here already! I can also tell that you've been denying it up until I started yelling at you for nearly blowing me up."
At those words, Bakugo looked at her with wide eyes and gnashed teeth, his arm instantly covering his face to hide his flustered blush. "Sh-Shut up! I haven't denied jack shit!" He protested. "Y-You're... You're just trying to mess with me!"
The celestial mage just shrugged, realizing that this was just Katsuki being Katsuki. Ruffling his hair like she did Izuku, much to his annoyance, Lucy made her way to the door and opened it, much to Bakugo's confusion. "Anyways, come downstairs with me. Natsu and Happy are probably going out of control by now. Plus, you reek of sweat... even though you smell like caramel."
"I WAS GOING TO SHOWER UNTIL YOU BARGED IN!"
"Oh, so you were not going to take a nap?"
"CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP!?"
After Lucy's talk with Bakugo, everyone from Class 1-A was surprised to see the ash blonde boy join them in listening to the three fairies' stories after his shower, seating himself next to Lucy. What's even more, they noticed he was genuinely interested in the stories the three fairies had to share rather than the bored and unimpressed look he always had plastered on his face. And what's more, he actually addressed Lucy by her name instead of 'Blondie' like before! The only other person he addresses by a name is Midoriya!
Natsu, Lucy, Happy and Bakugo didn't seem to mind, or notice for that matter, but it seemed telling their stories made them oblivious of the subtle fear the entire class had watching Bakugo. Midoriya was the first to recover from his fears. He concluded that the talk between him childhood friend and his adoptive sister went well, which he should've expected in the first place though he had his doubts, but Lucy did say she understood the ash blonde boy's behaviour better than most people.
When making dinner, Lucy decided to help prepare it when she found out that Bakugo normally helped with cooking. The moment she heard his specialty was spicy, since that was how Bakugo liked his food, she sighed in relief since it was apparently Natsu's favourite like his. Also, it was to protect the kitchen. Both Midoriya and Todoroki, as well as Yaoyorozu, Sato, Shoji and Uraraka who helped them with locking the pantry and fridges, soon understanding why the celestial mage said to protect the food.
Natsu and Happy, upon smelling the scent of cooked food, dashed for the kitchen in a second and was the first to be seated at the table. When they got their food, the students watched in awe as they inhaled their very large servings of food (especially surprised at Natsu since Bakugo and Lucy made his portions extremely spicy) and before they could get more, Lucy kicked them away from the kitchen while yelling that this was not the guild where they could eat all the food they wanted.
Once dinner finished and everything had been cleaned up, the students brought Natsu and Lucy up to the fourth floor to show them their temporary rooms. The dragon slayer and exceed would be staying in the free dorm next to Bakugo and Lucy would stay in the room next to Uraraka's. At the mention of their designated rooms, Lucy asked if there were locks on the doors and windows. Natsu and Happy had left to shower so no one really understood why locks were a concern.
"Uh... yeah there are locks on them... but why do you look so nervous, Big Sis Lucy?" Midoriya asked.
When she realized that everyone was looking at her weirdly, Lucy just scratched the back of her head with a flustered smile on her face. "Oh don't worry about it! It's not that important... I hope."
Bakugo raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "What? Does it have to do with pinky and his cat, Lucy?"
'I don't think anyone would get used to him calling someone other than Midoriya/Deku by a name rather than a physical feature.' Everyone thought except for said greenette and Todoroki.
Lucy was about to brush off his question when a stomp came from the elevator. A clean and clearly angered Natsu at the door while Happy just flew next to him with a disappointed look. "WHO THE HELL YOU CALLING PINKY, BASTARD!?" He shouted loudly, stomping his way to grab Bakugo by his shirt collar, his free hand already lit up in flames. "YOU LOOKING FOR A BUTT KICKING? IS THAT IT!?"
Not backing down from the dragon slayer's words, Bakugo raised his hand and made mini explosions go off from his palm. "Oh yeah? You think you can beat me, pinky? I'd like to see you try!"
"First off, my hair is salmon! Not pink! And I'll fight you right here right now, no hesitation!"
"Then come at me, you coward!"
While everyone else just watched the two stare at each other with dumbfounded expressions, Kirishima and Happy trying to stop them from destroying the dorm (knowing Aizawa and Lucy would definitely kill them if there was any property damage), the celestial mage just sighed and opened the door to her room to grab a towel from the closet inside. Uraraka noticed her and walked up to Lucy with a smile, reminding the blonde of Wendy and Carla.
"You going to freshen up, Heartfilia?" She asked.
"Yeah, nothing says goodbye to a long day like a nice hot bath. Also... you can call me Lucy if you'd like? Me, Natsu and all of my friends aren't really about the whole last name basis thing."
"Oh okay! You can call me Ochako then." The brunette replied, happy that Lucy was so easy going despite being a hero (though accidental and didn't have a hero license either). "Do you need to borrow clothes? You might be able to get some clothes from Yaoyorozu."
"No need, Virgo can just bring clothes for me." Lucy reassured as she waited for the elevator to open. "I think I've gotten more than half of my magic power back so I should be good." Once that was settled, Lucy waved as she left for her bath.
When she was done and dressed in pyjamas that Virgo brought her, Lucy made a beeline to her room and quickly locked it and the windows. She didn't see any sign of Natsu or Happy in her room and relaxed. She didn't know what she would do while everyone from Class 1-A is in class, but maybe she could use the time to research more about the book and see if there was a way to go back to Earthland and at the same time to come back when she wanted. That way she could visit Izuku and Katsuki on days off.
But the blonde girl would worry about that in the morning. Closing the curtains, turning off the lights and getting in bed, Lucy allowed herself to drift off into dreamland while thinking about when the rest of Team Natsu would arrive in this place. If Natsu and Happy arrived a day after her, would that mean that Gray, Erza, Wendy or Carla come tomorrow? And if so, what time tomorrow. She really hoped that if it was Gray next, she prayed that he didn't fall on Natsu or anything.
When the morning did come, unfortunately, those on the fourth floor did not expect to receive a loud wake up call at seven o'clock. Especially not a shriek that came from Lucy's room.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
Uraraka and Ashido dashed out of their rooms in less than a second and tried to open Lucy's locked door, worried if something had happened to her. Meanwhile, Bakugo just slammed his door open upon hearing his sister's yell and ran over to her room as well. His slamming of the door then woke a still sleepy Kirishima and a confused Shoji. They were confused as to why Natsu and Happy had yet to bust down a door too (considering that it was his partner who yelled) and continued to try to open the door.
"Lucy! What happened!?" The girls continued to call. "Are you okay!?"
"Oi Lucy! If you don't answer I'm going to-"
"LUCY KICK!"
"AH!"
However, before Bakugo even attempted to blow the door down, the door bursted open by itself as it fell forward and breaking its hinges with a body laying flat on top. Realizing who it was, the girls blushed a dark red while the guys just stared at the head of pink that had collided with the door beneath them. Followed by angry stomping, the five students watched as Happy flew away in panic back to his and Natsu's room while the temporary owner of the room came out with an angered expression on her face.
"NATSU DRAGNEEL! WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT YOU AND HAPPY SLEEPING IN MY BED!? How the heck did you even get in!? I definitely locked the-" When Lucy stepped out the doorway, she noticed the two girls and three guys staring at her with flustered faces and her cheeks became flushed in absolute embarrassment. 'Dear Mavis, just strike me where I stand.'
"Lucy..." Bakugo spoke up in a somewhat menacing but scared tone (the blonde wasn't really sure what to call it). "Pinky... does he always sleep with you in your room?"
Lucy immediately began waving her hands in the air, her blush intensifying at Bakugo's word choice. "IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" She cried. "On Earthland, Natsu and Happy live in this really old house with just a hammock so when I moved into town they found out I paid a lot of money for a really good mattress and since then have been sneaking into my house to sleep on it and now it's a habit!"
Surprisingly, the five students were able to understand everything the girl had said even though she sped through it in panic. Averting their attention from Lucy to Natsu, who had yet to move since landing on top of the broken door, Kirishima knelt down and poked Natsu's shoulder to see if he was even conscious after the collision between him the door. After about thirty seconds of poking, a tired groan came from the dragon slayer as he sat up and ruffled his hair.
"Oh... is it morning already?"
The five students just stared at the pink headed slayer with their mouths hung open, Lucy forgetting her embarrassment as her angered Bakugo-like expression returned to her face. "DON'T BE STUPID! HOW DID YOU GET INTO MY ROOM WHEN I LOCKED EVERYTHING!?"
"Gheez Luce, don't gotta be so noisy." Natsu replied, his sleepy expression making it clear he wanted five more minutes in dreamland. "I just sent Happy into the vents and he unlocked the door from the inside is all."
'He says that so nonchalantly like he didn't just break into her room!' The five students thought.
"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WOULD CALL BREAKING AND ENTERING, IDIOT!?"
"Whoa Bakubro, I gotta admit something." Kirishima said as he got the ash blonde boy's attention. "I didn't really get how she could be your sister, adoptive or otherwise, but after seeing her angry like this... it makes sense!"
"Huh?" Bakugo asked before letting the red head's words sink in. "WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN, SHITTY HAIR!?"
As the red head tried to fend off the ash blonde boy's rising anger, the five students and two fairies heard the elevator open and out came Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. It seemed like the black haired girl had heard the ruckus from the floor above and woke up the boys and Asui in concern. Concluding it had something to do with the three other worlders, Todoroki suggested that the both of them should go check while the others do what they need to. What they didn't expect was to hear the last thing Natsu had to say.
"Luce... I'm going back to sleep." He said tiredly while walking back into her room. "Call me when breakfast is ready."
Meanwhile, down at the city, a fire had just broke out inside a restaurant. Authorities had already gathered at the scene and pro heroes were already going in to rescue any trapped citizens inside. Ambulances came left and right as more and more people were retrieved from inside the burning building and many had fresh burns that would surely scar if not treated properly or right away. Among the bystanders of the incident was a young girl with blue hair, looking around the area with her cat companion.
She didn't seem relatively worried about the situation much like everyone else, but instead was more so desperate to look for something or someone, her eyes going every which way to identify the thing she was looking for. "I don't think Natsu's the one who caused the fire this time, Carla." The girl said with a sigh of relief.
"For once in my life, I'm quite disappointed." The white cat in her arms replied as she, too, continued to look around. "Out of everyone in our team, he's the one that's easily spotted from afar."
As the bluenette continued to walk through the crowd, she couldn't help but take notice of the many injured waiting on the sidelines for medical help to arrive. As a healer herself, she had the urge to help people who were hurt. It was practically second nature to her. She wasn't a strong fighter, but she prided herself on being able to heal when others cannot. So without hesitation, the blue haired girl made up her mind and headed towards the injured civilians.
"Wendy? Where are you going?"
"Well let's be honest with ourselves, Carla. We have no more leads as to where Natsu and the others are." Wendy noted to her exceed. "So why don't we help these people out and see if they've seen anybody?"
The white exceed thought on it for a second, unable to deny the sky dragon slayer's words. The both of them had unexpectedly found themselves sitting on the grass at some random park nearby with no knowledge as to where they are or how they got there. Luckily, Wendy was able to catch a faint trail of Natsu, Lucy and Happy's scents mixed in the air and thus started their search to figure out what was going on. Unfortunately, the scent faded off and that was when the duo saw the rising smoke from the fire.
"Well... I guess if we must."
Wendy smiled at Carla and immediately ran to the civilians. When she got there, she put Carla down to stand on her own and knelt next to the injured. They had looked at her with confused eyes but relaxed when she reassured them that she was there to help. The kindness in her voice was enough, so it would seem, and Wendy began to work her magic as her hands began to glow a soft blue green. The injured were scared at first but became shocked when they saw their small burns and wounds healing, leaving no remains behind.
Noticing the fairy heal the injured at a rapid rate without so much effort, many bystanders' eyes looked at her with impressed looks. Besides Recovery Girl, whom they all knew worked in U.A, there hasn't been another person in the world who was able to heal people almost instantly. And unlike the pro hero, the bluenette was able to treat each of the victims' wounds without limit. As if the wounds were never there to begin with. It was also obvious to the crowd that Wendy knew what she was doing.
Once the sky dragon slayer had finished healing all the victims of the fire, the last victim being one with a twisted and burnt leg, the medics and ambulances finally arrived at the scene. One by one, the medics came out of their designated vehicles and was ready to take away the injured, but was only met with the said victims bowing down in thanks to the young girl and her cat. Looking around, the fire had been put out but it was obvious that it was one large and chaotic fire. So there should be injured people at the scene.
Approaching the crowd that was filming videos left and right, one of the medics got one of the bystanders' attention. "Excuse me, ma'am? We were told that there were many injured here. If you could be so kind as to show us where they are-"
"Oh there's no rush to get the victims to the hospital anymore. You see that little lady with the cat there? She healed all of them in a few minutes before their injures could cause scars."
"I'm sorry? That child healed all those people's wounds?"
The bystander nodded enthusiastically. They had taken a video of Wendy healing the injured and began showing it to the medic, fast forwarding so that they could see how quick the healing process was. "If I hadn't known better, I would've thought she was Recovery Girl turned young."
The medic's eyes widened as they watched the video. The process of Wendy healing all those wounds had been too smooth. Too easy. The blue green glow surrounding her hands seeming to have absorbed the injuries into non existence. They wondered just what kind of strong healing quirk she had. It didn't seem like the type of injury mattered or how severe it was, but rather the size of it all. Thanking the bystander, the medic went to inform their colleagues so that they could go ask the bluenette some questions.
"Thank you so much, miss!"
"All my wounds are healed now thanks to you!"
"What kind of healing quirk is that?"
'Healing quirk?' Both Wendy and Carla thought, not understanding that kind of terminology.
"Are you interning with a pro hero nearby?"
"Are you a student from U.A!?"
The many questions being thrown at her suddenly began to overwhelm Wendy as she couldn't understand just what in the world they were talking about. Though she had grown exponentially since joining Fairy Tail, she was still a shy girl when it came to talking to too many strangers at once. She just wasn't the type to like the attention (she was only able to be one of the Sky Sisters because Sherria was there to support her). Of course that didn't mean that she would allow herself to just be trapped in the crowd.
Gathering her confidence, Wendy took Carla in her arms so that they wouldn't be separated and put on a serious face (much like Erza and Lucy when they meant business). "I'm sorry but I actually got separated from my team while on a job." She said, wisely not mentioning Fairy Tail as it was obvious they were no longer on Earthland or in Edolas.
"Your team? Ah, so you must be an intern then."
"Well who's a part of your team? Maybe we've seen them around."
Glad that the crowd was willing to help her, Wendy began describing her guild mates to the best of her ability. She started with Erza before going to describe Natsu, Happy and Gray. The four of them being the most noticeable within their team. But surprisingly, no one recalled such people walking around. With only one more person to go, the bluenette began describing Lucy as she did the others. Ignoring the lit up eyes when she mentioned the celestial mage's whip and her celestial keys.
"You said your friend is a blonde with brown eyes!?" One of the bystanders asked excitedly, catching the authorities, medics and heroes' attention (the heroes had been updating the authorities on the incident a few metres from the crowd). "Does her quirk also involve transforming into her hero costume, by any chance?"
The fairy thought on it for a moment before nodding her head slightly. "I don't think she would call it that, but yes." She confirmed. "Does that mean you've seen her around?"
Another bystander then took notice of Wendy's guild mark on her right shoulder, the bluenette was just wearing a simple sundress so her shoulder's were showing, and realized that it was the same shape as the one on the mysterious blonde hero's right hand. "Yes we have! She's the talk of town right now! The celestial hero!"
'Celestial hero?' Wendy and Carla thought with a raised eyebrow. 'What exactly did Lucy do when she landed here?'
"Can you tell us about her!?"
"Do the other members of your team have unique quirks like you and her!?"
"Where is this Fairy Tale agency she's a part of!?"
Becoming overwhelmed with questions again, this time about Lucy, Wendy and Carla met eye contact and nodded to one another. Taking in a small breath to gather some air and ethernano, Wendy aimed her face to the ground and casted a Sky Dragon's Roar to propel her and Carla off the ground into the air, taking everyone by surprise as they had only thought the girl to have a healing quirk. What shocked everyone even more, however, was when Carla sprouted wings on her back and flew Wendy and her herself far away.
Watching the scene from the ground, everyone at the site only had one question: Just what kind of quirk users does this Fairy Tale have?
