IRON

ORANGE(trailer 2)

The fire crackled ahead of her as she and her 'brother' sat listening to the man ahead of them. He was an older huntsman, one who had garnered the attention of ginger haired girl. 14-year-old Rhea Equine Titian and her 13-year-old scarlet red haired foster brother Issac Ignis watched in fascination as the man spoke.

"Did you kids know there are three kinds of huntsman?" the man asked. Both teens shook their heads. The older huntsman felt a grin grow on his face before looking back at the fire. He held his thumb out as he began.

"Those who fight for strength," he extended his pointer finger.

"Those who live for pride," he extended his middle finger.

"And those who can read the tide of battle. Yep, those are the three." his gaze grew distant before he locked eyes with Rhea. Rhea shuddered as a feeling of uneasiness washed over her.

"Him, he was a huntsman they called Pixy. A fearsome huntsman I had the pleasure of fighting with, once upon a time," he looked away from Rhea, "but that was a long time ago." his gaze grew distant once more.

"Before you two fully invest into this life, think of which kind of huntsman you are." Larry Foulke spoke before rising from the fire and walking back into the woods. Rhea and Issac sat, the wise words of the huntsman steeping in their mind. She looked up at the shattered moon, seemingly looking form guidance.

'Which do I fall under?' she thought.

2 years later

Rhea's gatling gun spun as dust rounds poured from the 7 barreled monster. In front of her was a Ursa Major, a large grimm for her first time fighting them. Issac was busy keeping the attention of a pair of beowulves, and the teachers were nowhere to be found. At first, she felt her knees begin to shake, but when she watched her foster brother charge the pair of beowulves, all fear had left her body. The dust rounds did little to the monster of a... well monster. It began its charge, cleaving through tree limbs as though they weren't there to begin with. Her eyes widened as her weapon clicked empty, a curse escaped her mouth as she dodged the ursa's paw mere moments before tearing her head off. She swung her heavy weapon at the ursa's unprotected throat. The monster hacked slightly giving Rhea the time she needed. Pistons and gears moved as the receiver of the massive gatling shifted in their shape. The seven barrels merged, forming a long polearm as the receiver formed a hammerhead that she slammed into the incoming grimm paw. The weapon exploded in a flash of blue as ice encompassed the ursa's paw leaving it disoriented. She slammed the hammer beneath her feet, letting the shockwave of ice dust pick her off the ground, then spun in the air before slamming the hammer on the ursa's head. The ground shook as ice once again encompassed the grimm. Rhea landed, allowing herself to smirk in satisfaction. She at her foster brother, seeing two dissolving grimm carcasses and her brother giving her a wide grin.

"So, that was unexpected," Issac began slowly before laughing, "but we handled it like a badass!" he shouted in laughter. Rhea felt herself laugh.

"Good job, you managed two whole beowulves, truly you are the huntsman that we need." Rhea knelt on the ground before Issac, who grinned with a slight tint to his cheeks.

"Yeah, I know I'm awesome." he spoke before he felt his words die in his mouth and his eyes widened. Rhea sighed.

"It's not dead, is it?" she asked. Issac shook his head before drawing his two short swords.

"Nope," he said.

"It's just pissed off now, right?" Rhea said as she hefted her hammer into both her hands. Issac shook his head before charging the 10-foot-tall monster bear. Rhea ducked under the paw that swung for her head once again, not able to catch the one going for her side. She flew through the air bursting through two trees before landing on her feet. Issac shouted for her but quickly dodged another swipe from the grimm. Rhea stood up and rolled her neck popping the joints before charging the ursa's unprotected rear. Her hammer began to glow blue as ice formed around the head. She once again slammed her hammer to the ground, letting the shockwave send her at the ursa. However, the ursa seemingly expected this as it stood on his find legs and extended both its paws outwards almost like it was asking for a bear-hug. Rhea quickly slammed the hammer into the grimm's chest, not doing any noticeable damage before it grabbed her and began to squeeze. Rhea let out a cry of pain as the monster roared and bit down on her shoulder. Her aura prevented the teeth from puncturing her skin, but it still hurt like hell. A flash of fire sliced across it's back causing the ursa to roar in pain before Rhea slammed her forehead into the snout of the grimm. Its arms opened dropping Rhea, who charged the standing grimm and ran into the grimm's abdomen. The massive grimm wobbled before falling flat on its back, exposing its underbelly. She watched as Issac stabbed both his short swords into the monster's neck. The grimm roared once again, wiggling as it tried to reach Issac.

"Hammer it down!" he shouted, Rhea nodded as she grabbed her hammer and hefted it above her head. She pressed a button on the shaft causing the hammer to change from the glowing blue to a glowing red. Fire poked from the sides of the hammerhead before she slammed it down on the grimm's stomach. It howled in pain as a torrent of fire engulfed it. Once the fire died down the two students watched the grimm's lifeless body. Soon it began to dissolve and they both sighed in relief. The two fell to the ground on their back, panting heavily. Issac looked over at his sister before he began to laugh. Rhea looked back at him before cracking and laughing her own tune.

"Oh, mom is gonna kill us." Rhea spoke with certainty. Issac breathed heavily.

"Yeah, I'm more scared about what Oak will do." Issac said quietly. The two heard rustling in the bushes, and dread slowly took over. They were drained, that fight was nothing like they'd been told. Issac slowly stood before reaching for Rhea, who took his gloved hand. The two rose and weakly held their weapons at a ready stance. The bushes rustled once more before revealing their teacher, one Ms. Redwood.

"Thank Oum, you two are okay." she sighed in relief before rushing towards the two. The two students sighed and dropped their weapons.

Two hours later

One slow bullhead flight later the two students now sat in the cafeteria of Pharos academy. Students surrounded the table as Issac and Rhea recounted their fight.

"The ursa got me, had me in its grip, and bit down on my shoulder," Rhea said darkly, eyeing the crowd for reactions. The younger students were looking more pale than usual, while some of the older ones scoffed. "But I didn't cry out, I didn't let it break me..."

"She totally screamed?" Issac interrupted. Rhea glowed bright red as the crow started laughing. Rhea responded by slamming Issac's head into his tray of food. The crowd gasped and watched with baited breathes. Issac rose from his tray, wiping a glob of mashed potatoes off his face.

"I deserved that." he grumbled before motioning for Rhea to start. Rhea smirked victoriously before starting off once again. When she finished her story, some of the crowd cheered, while the others smiled and said their own congratulations. Rhea smiled as Issac held a cup of fruit over her unknowing head.

"RHEA EQUINE TITIAN AND ISSAC MUTATIO IGNIS!" the voice of Olive Grace Titian echoed throughout the cafeteria. The two blanched as Issac dropped the cup of fruit on Rhea's hair. She couldn't be angry with him. She was too afraid of her rapidly approaching mother, and she never hated the smell of oranges.
