"Chief Kurama." One of the techs calls for Kurama on his radio. Kurama picks up. "There was no damage towards the main generators. Looking closer, someone just... turned them off."

"Turned them off?" Kurama questions.

"Why do that?" Shirakawa overhears and asks. "It should have been much simpler to destroy our generators. Why leave them so they could be turned back on?"

"It doesn't make any sense. Something thats happening a lot today." Kurama says. He then gets back on the radio. "Restore power. Than contact the SAT team to get here. I guarantee our intruders will be outnumber, unless Lucy has even more soldiers and not to mention, dicloni, waiting to jump in to attack."

"We'll get on that right away sir!" The other side says before hanging up.

"We can only pray that it'll be enough." Kurama whispers.

"Might I suggest using those suits of armour and weapons we acquired?" Isobe suggests. "If we give them to our SAT reinforcements when they arrive, I'm sure they could mow down scores of those soldiers with that powerful equipment."

"It would be a good idea to prepare them." Kurama mutters. "Fine. Take an escort and continue analysis on the blue armour. Make sure we know every piece of that suit of armour. Same goes for the rifle and pistol he had."

"Understood, Chief." Isobe says before leaving.

"Do you think we can hold out until the SAT team arrives?" Shirakawa asks.

"For the sake of mankind, lets hope so." Kurama says.

"Its definitely this way." Sarge points in one direction.

"Sir, I'm sure we came from this direction." Simmons argues.

"Of coarse we didn't! You must have a glitch in your memory banks. We came from this direction!" Sarge exclaims.

"Memory banks?" Kouta questions.

"Simmons is part cyborg." Kaede explains while fiddling with her helmet, try to fide a way for it to come off. "Everyone forgets about that though."

"You didn't replace my brain! I don't have memory banks!" Simmons exclaims.

"Exactly. You have the flawed squishy human brain. One thats prone to forget. Its settled, we're going this way." Sarge veto's before leading the group onwards.

"Kaede, do you know why these people would want to kidnap you?" Kouta asks.

"I think it has something to do with my horns." Kaede explains. Before I was taken, there was a girl, about 14, who also had horns just like mine. She suggested there were more horned people out there. She called them Diclonius."

"Diclonius?" Kouta questions.

"Sounds badass." Sarge comments.

"But how can do many people have the exact same deformity, according to what that girl was suggesting. There no way it can ALL be a coincidence." Simmons says. "Do they also have your-"

"I don't know what's going on." Kaede interrupts him, deliberately. "Whatever it is, I don't think-"

Kaede puts a hand to her head as if realizing something.

"You don't think what?" Grif asks.

"N-never mind. Let's keep going." Kaede says. Almost a somber note in her voice. Kaede was sending many presence's nearby all feeling different kinds of pain, agony, loneliness, and Hatred among other things. She felt those feelings herself and it was all she could do to remind herself that these weren't her thoughts and she shouldn't let the others know she was feeling them. What the hell was going on in here? To make matters worse, the DNA voice began urging her to "avenge them". What does that mean?

"Anyway, should be just through this door." Sarge says, stopping at, what do you know, a door.

"Uh, I don't think so. Looks like this might be a holding cell or something." Simmons says.

"Why not open it and find out?" Kouta suggests. Simmons does just that, and the door opens.

"Aw, What the fuck?!" Grif curses.

"How's the patient?" Isobe asks.

"He's pretty responsive, even when unconscious." One of the scientists say.

"I'm gonna... build a walrus around..." Caboose mutters in his sleep.

"He was before we sedated him." The scientist finishes.

"You perform the surgery while I take his armour to be analyzed." Isobe orders.

"I'd be careful sir. That armour is really heavy. I'd suggest getting a cart." Another scientist says.

The door to the cell opens.

"That would be the other analysts coming in to help." Isobe says. When he turns around, he is greeted to the sight of a teal coloured soldier holding a strange rifle to him. He can only respond in slight panic.

"Don't. Move." Carolina orders. Meanwhile, Washington checks up on Caboose.

"He's drugged, but he should be fine." Wash tells her

"Baby, I wanna be your girl..." Caboose mutters.

"Get his armour on, then we'll get him out of here." Carolina orders.

"Aw, What the fuck?!" Grif curses. There on the other end of the door stood Doc and Lopez.

"Oh guys, thank God! You rescued us!" Doc exclaims.

"Mierda." Lopez curses.

"Doc?" Simmons questions.

"And Lopez!" Sarge exclaims. "It's nice to see you too, buddy."

"Everything's been so crazy. First we find this ball that takes us to another dimension. It was so dark and there was nothing here except this girl. She had a really pretty singing voice and we got to talking but somehow we were transported to where ever here is and were immediately captured." Doc explains in his run on sentence.

"Oh yeah, that's great. How about we get going?" Grif asks, clear in his voice he wasn't paying attention.

"Who're these guys?" Kouta questions.

"The brown one is Lopez, a Spanish speaking robot, and the purple one is Doc the... I can't actually remember anything specific about him, but he's Doc." Kaede tells him.

"Hey!" Doc whines. "Who's the new guy?"

"Doc this is my old friend Kouta." Kaede introduces. "The helmet is just temporary, so you'll see his face once we get out of here."

"Nice to meet you." Kouta respectfully greets.

"Genial. Otro idiota que no me entiende." Lopez sighs.

"If you don't mind me asking, whats with the new helmet and no pants?" Doc asks Kaede.

"Its not a look I want coined." Kaede grumbles. "The people here are just perverts. I hope no one took my picture or anything."

"If they did, 20 says at least one person uses it to masturbate." Grif calls out.

"Argh! Don't put such a thought in my mind!" Kaede exclaims. "Ahhh. Now I can't get it out!"

"We have an extra set of armour here you could switch into." Doc says, motioning to Kaede's modified ODST armour behind Lopez.

"Oh, yes! Please!" Kaede moves towards the armour.

"I think we should leave the room." Kouta advises.

"If only Donut were here. Then Red team would be at maximum strength!" Sarge exclaims. " Ow we just gotta get some armour for Kouta."

"Not long now..." Kurama mutters.

"I'm, sorry?" Shirakawa asks.

"It won't be long before the SAT team arrives to suppress the situation." Kurama says.

"But thing have quieted down." Shirakawa states.

"They have, but none of the security cameras show any strange soldiers or Diclonius leaving the building." Kurama states. "I hope there is not an unforeseen factor contributing to all of this."

"Ch- Chief?" Isobe voice comes from Kurama's phone.

"What's the analysis on the armour?" Kurama asks.

"I couldn't, sir. This black and yellow soldier along with this teal soldier came in and held us at gun point until they could get their comrade and armour out of there." Isobe explains.

Kurama internally curses at the added bad luck. "Anything not worth of these two?"

"They both acted more professionally than the brown and purple soldiers and your report of the pink and blue soldiers." Isobe explains. "The teal one was a female and sported an entirely different armour design than the ones we've seen."

"At this point, all we can confirm is we know nothing of Lucy's forces." Kurama says. "How is everyone over there?"

"We are all unharmed. They just held us at gunpoint, took the armour, their comrade, Lucy's clothes and items she came in with and left." Isobe reports.

"I see..." Kurama mutters. "Stay where you are. The other group of soldiers are still roaming around the facility."

"These pair or soldiers differ from the ones attacking us. Could they be a splinter group perhaps?" Shirakawa suggests.

"That wouldn't explain why they would rescue the soldier we found with Lucy, as well as retrieve her belongings." Kurama says.

"Uh, sir..." Another person on the radio, a guard, calls. Kurama sighs at the growing mountain of problems.

"Whats the situation?" He asks.

"Some strange soldier came in and took the Queen! My parter is dead I don't know why I'm alive." The guard panics. "Oh God, I might be infected..."

"Calm down and stay where you are." Kurama orders. "Damnit! When is the SAT team arriving? We can't let her escape!"

After awhile, Kaede came out of the room, clad in her ODST armour minus the helmet, as she still couldn't get the one the institute had put on off.

"Thanks for letting me borrow this." Kaede says as she hands Kouta back his over shirt.

"Yeah, you're welcome." Kouta replies.

"What's with the new helmet?" Doc asks.

"The degenerates that captured me slapped it on. I can't get it off." Kaede explains.

"Why not just use your powers?" Doc asks.

"Powers?" Kouta questions. "What powers?"

"Doc, we're not supposed to talk about that!" Simmons reprimands him.

"Oh chico. Drama." Lopez mutters.

"You have powers?" Kouta asks again.

"Yes." Kaede says, looking away. Before anything further can be said, a few guards round the corner and fire at the group.

"Seems we've lingered too long." Sarge says as he returns fire. "Time to skedaddle."

"I'll tell you everything once we're safe, I promise." Kaede tells Kouta.

"¿Hay algo de romance pasando aquí?" Lopez asks. "Porque si es así, voy a estar harto de escucharlo."

With that, the group makes their retreat.
