USJ Incident

"I have the perfect plan to escape the villains and save Mr. Aizawa as well!" Izuku says enthusiastically as he hides in shallow water with Tsu and Mineta. "I will summon my tank of the day and we will race past them as Tsu grabs Mr. Aizawa."

"With your luck so far I have doubts with that plan." Tsu says skeptically.

"Even the Churchill would be fast enough for this, we just use the machine gun and it's rubber bullets to push them back then use the smoke bombs almost every tank has to cover our retreat." Izuku explains confidently.

"Just summon the tank and then plan." Tsu says.

"Alright then, here goes!" Izuku says loudly as he raises his arms in the air. "WHY!" he screams before being cut off by Tsu's tongue as the largest tank any of them had ever seen appeared next to them. It looked to be over ten meters long and three wide, with a long continuous track along the hull.

"What is that?" Mineta asks in awe of the massive machine.

"Probably not what we want if we are trying to go fast." Tsu says.

"It's a TOG II*" Izuku says with a look of despair on his face. "While the designers theorized that it could go 24 km/h it never achieved even 14. So, no we're not leaving in a hurry. On the plus side it is very heavy and has a lot of room inside."

"I think the villains have noticed us." Tsu says, looking around with a worried look on her face.

"Of course they have, look at the size of this thing!" Mineta shouts.

"Get in then!" Izuku shouts as he opens a side door while firing a spray of rubber bullets with the Besa machine gun.

As soon as Mineta was helped through the door the tank set off, leisurely exiting the shallow water and heading for the exit. Izuku tried to drive as casually as possible as he estimated Tsu's tongue range against Aizawa's position.

"Why do they get a tank!?" The Handy villain whines irritably.

"It looks rather slow." Kurogiri comments.

"Doesn't matter if it's slow! It's a tank!" The Handy villain shouts.

Suddenly a side door opens and Tsu grabs Aizawa with her tongue before bringing him into the vehicle.

"Got him!" Tsu calls.

"The villains look mad!" Mineta shouts, "Now would be a good time for some smoke!"

"Uhh... so... since this was a prototype, it doesn't have smoke bombs. It does have a smoke round, but with our speed and the guns depression... well... it's useless." Izuku explains nervously as he demonstrates the uselessness by firing a round at maximum depression and it lands quite far away.

"We're doomed!" Mineta whines.

"Loading high explosive." Izuku says stoically as the villains begin to move against them.

"Isn't that a lethal round?" Tsu asks.

"Better them than us." Izuku replies, struggling to maintain a calm demeanor.

But the need to fire didn't arrive as the door to the USJ blasted open and All Might arrived, distracting the villains.

"Stay inside. We're safe in here." Izuku says with a more relaxed note as All Might begins defeating villains left and right.

"Shouldn't we bring Mr. Aizawa to safety?" Tsu asks.

"We should stay here to provide shelter to any students who escape their areas." Izuku argues.

"Alright then." Tsu says, trusting Izuku to make the right choice.

"If you see Yaoyorozu, get her in here, she can make bandages and medical equipment for us." Izuku instructs firmly.

All Might's fight was not as one sided as the students inside the TOG would have liked, but with the intervention of Todoroki and Bakugo, All Might escaped the villain's trap. Of course none of the students opted to take shelter inside the tank, though they did use it to weather the powerful winds generated by All Might's punches, as it would take a lot more than that to move the 80 ton super-heavy tank.

"Your secret weapon is gone, might as well surrender before you get hurt villains." All Might says as he stands heroically in the crater he had created while launching the Nomu out of the facility.

"Impossible! First a tank and now All Might has beaten my Nomu!" the handy villain screams.

"You've lost, villain. Or do you need a physical lesson?" All Might taunts.

Suddenly the villain rushes forward, racing for All Might with a mad smile on his face. In an instant the TOG's engine roars and it moves like no TOG had ever done before, racing towards All Might at a joggers pace, machine gun firing a barrage of rubber bullets. Kurogiri quickly creates a portal to redirect the bullets, but in his haste he fails to notice the main gun depressing.

With a terrific bang the Ordinance Quick-Firing 17-pounder fired a high explosive shell directly at the handy villain's feet, sending him flying with several notable shrapnel wounds.

"Whoa man! Isn't that a bit much? All Might had it under control!" Kirishima shouts.

Before Izuku could respond gunfire was heard from the top of the stairs, the heroes had come.

"Thanks for letting me hide in here." All Might says tiredly as he rests in the large crew compartment of the TOG.

"Of course, it's not like something this slow could help the emergency responders anyway." Izuku replies.

"Don't let your classmates' comments bring you down, you saved me with that shot." All Might says kindly.

"I won't, it's part of my quirk, sometimes villains are going to get hurt." Izuku admits.

"Try not to run anyone over when the press is watching ok." All Might advises.

"I try not to run people over as a principle, you know how hard it is to get brains out of track links?" Izuku says stoically.

All Might lets out a chuckle for that one before turning to look out a viewport. "We should get going. It will take some time to drive back to campus."

With a grumble the TOG began slowly crawling out of the USJ. Soon though, Izuku notices a problem, the TOG was too big to fit through the door, so the responding police get the scare of a lifetime as the massive tank crashes through the wall.

"Oh yeah!" Izuku shouts to All Might's confusion. "What? It just felt right."

"Please don't break down anymore walls on the way back. We don't want people thinking we're escaping villains." All Might lectures with a sigh.

"Spoil sport." Izuku says sadly.

AN: Izuku's luck really isn't with him again. TOG 2* is a wonderfully terrible tank, perfect for a fun day at the beach, but not so good in a fight.

In other news, I'm surprised by the amount of tank enthusiasts reviewing, didn't think there was a lot of geekdom overlap. But I should have known better... I'll think about all the tank suggestions I see, but I'm keeping this story light and funny. Dominating villains in an OP modern tank is not as fun as dominating villains while struggling in a misguided prototype. M1 Abrams or S-tank? The answer is obvious. Tiger 1 or M3 Lee?
