A Quirk of Warships?

"Stop Kacchan, heroes don't use their quirks like this." a young Izuku says nervously as he stands in front of a crying child.

"He needs to learn his place, as do you Deku!" Bakugo shouts before unleashing tiny explosions with his hands.

"I'll stop you!" Izuku shouts as he raises his fists.

"Without a quirk? Give up and let me beat you!" Bakugo shouts with a laugh, knocking Izuku's fists into the air.

A sudden crash of metal and a resulting gust of wind shocks Izuku into opening his eyes. In front of him was a wall of metal, and Bakugo was nowhere to be found.

"Was that you?" Izuku asks the child behind him, who shakes his head.

Izuku then notices a connection to the metal and instinctively reaches for it. His mind is suddenly bombarded with information as he gains control of the thing in front of him.

'It feels like it should be able to move, but it isn't.' Izuku thinks before deciding to find his mother.

Soon enough he found his mother and Bakugo's staring at the thing he had summoned.

"Is that a ship?" Inko asks.

"Looks like an oil tanker." Mitsuki Bakugo comments earning her a kick in the shin from a passing man.

"That is no oil tanker, that is a battleship!" The man shouts angrily.

"What is a battleship doing in a park?" Inko wonders.

"I think it might be my quirk." Izuku says quietly.

"So your quirk summoned this beauty?" The man asks.

"I think so, what is it?" Izuku asks nervously.

"That is a Nelson Class battleship, one of the finest ships ever built. One of the class did the hard work of sinking the Bismark! Even hit it with a torpedo! Only battleship to ever hit another with a torpedo!" The man explains enthusiastically. "I'd have liked to see the Germans try to land on British soil with these girls on patrol. One word of a German invasion and the captains would have sailed to the nearest Royal Marine base and shouted 'Get in, we're hunting nazis' before beaching the battleships in the middle of the landings and turning themselves into the most irritating 35000 tons in existence."

"I see." Izuku says dumbly as the many spectators wonder where this crazy had come from.

"In the end the only part of this ship the German army encountered was her 16 in shells sending their tanks flying." The man says with some sadness.

"Izuku, how did this happen exactly?" Inko asks, trying to pull her son's attention away from the man.

"Kacchan was being mean to a kid with his quirk, so I went to stop him. But he blew my hands out of the way and I closed my eyes in fear. Next thing I know there's a wall of metal in front of me." Izuku explains.

"And where's Katsuki?" Inko asks.

"Haven't seen him or his lackeys since." Izuku answers innocently.

The two parents share a look before sprinting to along the edge of the ship frantically looking for the lost child.

AN: I was going to write something like this as the first time Izuku uses his tank quirk, but HMS Nelson just kept showing up. In the end I just wrote this, maybe one day I'll think of a tank and insert it here, until then enjoy...

I have heard of Sabaton, not really my thing but it is enjoyable at times. I had to look up SCP-516, and it's interesting, perhaps an evolution to Izuku's quirk one day, a bit of sentience would be interesting. Sweet Kagamine Kiss, I enjoy your works as well, they make me want to write more fluffy chapters. The Maus will come one day, but it's not easy, it needs to have sufficient narrative weight (get it) or it will feel wasted.
