First off: belated happy New Year and welcome to 2022. Last month I said that this fic will be ready by the end of January, but for a reason it ended up getting delayed, in which I won't make any excuses. It is because I caught the COVID despite getting vaccinated, and I believe that I have gotten the Omicron variant. Thankfully I managed to recover while isolating myself inside my house but as a result working on this and my other fanfics slowed down, hence the late update of this fic.
Now that I finished my explanation…time to get down to business…

I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here, a new story arc commences where Rangiku is the next female character to be paired with Jinta, and this is where the younger boy would find himself getting embroiled with, especially as this arc is connected to the previous arc…

Ch. 14: Jinta x Rangiku part 1
The next morning, Rangiku woke up and stretched her arms as she had a rather good sleep, though she smirked after last night's events, in which it was rather chaotic, but in a fun way, as she managed to calm a raging Soi Fon after she saw Yoruichi BUCK NAKED with a NAKED Jinta, in which Soi Fon believed that the younger boy SEDUCED Yoruichi, and is ready to use her Zanpakuto on the younger boy.
However, Yoruichi told Soi Fon that Jinta is innocent and that it was Yoruichi herself who INITIATED it, and yet Soi Fon refused to believe this and said that she is going to stay here until Urahara and the others return, which Yoruichi said it is fine, but Soi Fon would get a bit ballistic, when she checked the guest room where she saw Yoruichi sharing a bed with Jinta.
Rangiku had to calm Soi Fon down as she pointed out that the two are wearing their clothes and they didn't do anything risqué-like.
"Now, now…calm down…"
"How can I...? That brat is…"
"Nothing happened…"
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes. Look...They're in their pajamas…"
"…"
"There's nothing to worry about…"
"…"
Soi Fon twitched her eyes as she still couldn't accept that Yoruichi had a ONE-NIGHT STAND with Jinta, and she is forced to temper her actions and much later things are doing well at the shop as customers flock in while Soi Fon stared in disbelief seeing that Yoruichi is using her SEX APPEAL to entice male customers to buy the products.
Yoruichi then asked Rangiku if she wants to join in and she might entice more customers, which the latter finds it challenging, and said that she will join her in a moment as she would try out some NORMAL CLOTHES and act like a normal person.
Soi Fon stared in disbelief and asked Rangiku if she is really serious about this, which the BUSTY captain smiled in reply.
"You…are you serious?"
"I am."
"You're the lieutenant of the 10th Division! Why would you…?"
"You ought to loosen up a bit, Soi Fon."
"Huh?"
"Since we're in the human realm…try to act human. And try acting like a lady…that way you can attract a guy…"
"What? No way!"
"Hee-hee…"
As Jinta came out and is ready to assist, which Soi Fon glared at the younger boy and he sweat-dropped at what she is doing to him, but then Rangiku came out, wearing a summer attire, but this also showed her cleavage, and Jinta blushed deeply which Soi Fon sees this as an act of perversity and she smacked the younger boy on the head.
As he clutched his head in pain, Soi Fon warned him not to get any perverted ideas especially if alone with Yoruichi, and the younger boy defended himself and insisted that it wasn't his fault if he finds Rangiku attractive, which made Soi Fon stared in suspicion, and asked him if he has any NAUGHTY THOUGHTS, which Jinta blushed and deny the accusations.
"So now you're being aroused…?"
"What?"
"Are you…?"
"Of course not!"
"Are you sure?"
"I am…"
"If I caught you peeking at Yoruichi while showering…"
"Will you knock it off already?"
Rangiku then went between the two and urged them to relax and not get into an argument, saying that they should be relaxing since it's summer today, and there she smiled at Jinta and asked if he finds her sexy, which the younger boy blushed again and admitted that she is, which made her smile.
As a REWARD, Rangiku hugged Jinta, and the younger boy was flustered as his face was pressed against her chest and cleavage, while Soi Fon stared wide-eyed in surprise and disbelief, and she pulled the younger boy back and pinched his cheeks and told him not to get any PERVERTED ideas, reminding him that he is facing one of the top generals of Soul Society.
"So now you're becoming more aroused…?"

Rangiku then pulled Jinta from Soi Fon and told her not to be too hard on Jinta, stating that the younger boy hasn't done anything wrong, but Soi Fon pointed out that Jinta is thinking of something perverted and might try something, which Rangiku laughed and said that it shows that Jinta recognize the ATTRACTIVE FEMALES of Soul Society.
Soi Fon twitched her eyes as she couldn't believe what her fellow comrade just said, but then Rangiku applied some icebags on the younger boy's cheeks and said that his summer will be a good one which he asked how, telling her that Urahara and the gang always left him behind during summer vacation, and he tended to the shop all by himself.
Rangiku listened intently and thought of something, and said that he should ask Urahara to invite him to the next outing, which Jinta sagged and said it won't work as Urahara and the gang always left before he could say anything.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Urahara is always like that."
"…"
"So asking him is useless…"
"Surely Urahara isn't…"
"He is."
"Jinta…"
"…"
Yoruichi came and overheard the conversation and there she offered that she would ask Urahara to let Jinta tag along in the next outing, which the younger boy doesn't look enthusiastic, reasoning that Urahara always took the gang with him and made the younger boy stay and look after the shop.
Yoruichi patted his shoulder and said that she will see to it that Urahara would listen, and Jinta was persuaded to give it a chance.A
By then Uruhara and Tessai, along with Ururu Ichigo, Sado, Rukia, and Renji, arrived, and Jinta sighed as the shop becomes "lively" again now that everyone came back, and Yoruichi asks Uruhara how is their trip at the beach went, and asked why the sudden arrival, in which Uruhara said that the beach owner had to made everyone leave because of an EMERGENCY, but he is able to buy something, and there Urahara brought out a bag full of souvenirs and gives one to her and then at the rest, and he brags about how many sexy girls pass by and then gives the rest of the souvenirs to the others, and there he realized that he forgot to buy one for q and apologizes to him Jinta just looked away, seeing that it was déjà vu as this always happens whenever Urahara came back after an outing.
"Ah-ha-ha-ha...sorry about that..."
"..."
"I really forgot about buying you one..."
"..."
"Don't get upset."
"…"
"I promise I'd buy you one..."
"Don't say anything if you can't keep your word..."
By then Tessai greeted Yoruichi and she greeted him in return, in which Tessai asks how everything went given that she spend the entire day alone with Jinta, in which Yoruichi said that she is fine and that Jinta was "well-behaved" and a "gentleman" which Uruhara and the others finds it suspicious and Tessai was also suspicious as well, and he directly asks Jinta if he did anything perverted to Yoruichi, in which he flatly denies, yet he is afraid that if everyone finds out about the "SESSION" he got from Yoruichi, it'll be trouble for him.
"I did not do anything to her!"
"Liar!"
"I'm not!"
"If I find out that you do anything perverted...I'll summon my TRUMP CARD..."
"I told you I was behaving! I even looked after the shop just like you told me!"
"I got my eye on you...so you'd better..."
"I told you I have no intention of doing that!"
"Like you're the one to talk..."
By then Uruhara claps his hand and said that since they are here, the shop will be open for business and Tessai told Jinta to get to work, and the younger boy sighed in annoyance as it's going to be another day, and he is annoyed that both Uruhara and Tessai are seemingly taken him for granted as he was left at the shop and never got a souvenir from them after their trip to the beach.
As everyone are unloading and chatting, Rangiku glanced at Jinta, seeing that he is upset as aside from not given a souvenir, he feels like he is treated like an errand boy and not part of the FAMILY, and she discreetly talked to Yoruichi about it and the two females agreed that they should talk to Urahara about always taking Jinta for granted.
"Yoruichi…"
"Yeah…"
"Looks like Jinta was right…"
"…"
"Maybe we should…"
"I understand…I'll talk to Urahara about it…"
"I'm counting on you…"
"Okay."

Two days later, the shop earned a lot of income and Uruhara came back after attending to some place and told everyone that he just played a lottery and won a prize, revealing that he has won a major prize, which he can go to a beach resort for free and can invite some friends, and Tessai is pleased, especially Ririn and Kurudo while Noba remained silent, and there Uruhara told Tessai to call Ichigo and his friends as he wanted to invite them to the planned outing.
"Everyone…guess what…"
"Huh?"
"I won a prize…"
"Really? You won? What prize is that?"
"A free entrance to another summer beach resort!"
"Really? That's great!"
"Yup, and you're all invited!"
"Yoruichi…you're invited as well…"
As everyone are getting ready, things were quite lively inside the shop, and soon Ichigo,.Orihime, Chad and Uryu arrived, and they were quite surprised to hear that Yoruichi and Soi Fon are invited as well, and there Soi Fon told Ichigo and Uryu not to make any more perverted comments aimed at Yoruichi, which the two boys deny.
"What?"
"No!"
"We wouldn't!"
"Of course not!"
"We're not perverts! Right, Uryu?"
"Quincies are not sex maniacs! Soul Reapers, maybe…"
"Uryu!"
"Just kidding…"
Jinta was silent as he has a feeling that he would be left behind again, and he is proven to be correct as Urahara tells the younger boy that he is to look after the shop, which he didn't rebut like the usual and he just stare in silence.
"Oh, Jinta…you need to stay here…"
"…"
"We need you to look after the shop…"
"…"
"You are best suited to be on guard…so we're counting on you…"
"…"
"So I take it as a YES...?"
"…"
Jinta said nothing and turn around to make preparations, as he is mentally seething in annoyance when told that he will get to stay and look after the shop, all by himself once again, as he realized that no matter how much he complain, Uruhara's words are absolute, and is unable to rebut or refuse, and he went to his room while the rest are getting ready to leave the shop, while Rangiku stared at Jinta's room, seeing that the younger boy is visibly upset at being left out once more.
"That kid is really upset…"
