"Congratulations on getting your tank driving license Eri." Momo says kindly as she leads her grown up adopted daughter into her hero agency.

As they enter Eri's eyes are immediately drawn to a pair of what were obviously tanks under covers.

"What tank did you get me?" Eri asks once the two had come to a stop.

"You will have to find out for yourself." Izuku answers as he comes out from between the two tanks with Ochako.

"Help me remove them?" Eri asks, despite growing up she was still on the short size and she nothing she tried let her grow taller than even Ochako.

"Of course Eri. Three, two, one, pull!" Ochako shouts with her usual enthusiasm.

"Whoa!" Eri comments, eyes wide in shock at the rare tanks in front of her. "You got me an M6?"

"Yes we did, we knew it was something you've been looking for." Momo says.

"I've wanted the Wright radial engine forever!" Eri shouts with excitement. "Where did you find it? Or did papa Izuku finally summon one?"

"I summoned one before, but that was before Momo had her scanner." Izuku admits.

"We got to look at a B-17 bomber after doing a favor for a museum." Ochako explains.

"Cool!" Eri shouts before climbing up the tank and opening the engine bay. "Give me a week." she says after a moment.

At the end of the week the group met at a drag strip.

"So, how much power do you think she added to that tank?" Izuku asks.

"That's a trap question and you know it." Tsu says.

"How much could she add? It is a 715 kW (960 hp) engine?" Momo asks.

"Well, as an aircraft engine put into a tank it has been detuned somewhat. Eri has 30 L in 9 cylinders to work with. I think one of the variants at the time had over one thousand kW (1400 hp)." Izuku explains.

"Oh no." Tsu says with serious worry, wondering yet again how the sweet girl had acquired a love of power similar to Ochako's love for big guns and Momo's love of big tanks.

"Don't worry too much, it still weighs 57 tonnes." Ochako says placatingly. But the calming effect is lost as the roar of a big radial engine begins approaching slowly.

"I think I will stay out of my tank during our race." Izuku quickly states, looking at the tiny panzer he had summoned that day.

"You think the M6 will beat your Panzer I C?" Momo asks.

"With Eri's modifications it's more than possible." Izuku admits.

"But all the weight?" Ochako questions.

"Eri will have added enough power, but more importantly will have ditched the terribly outdated automatic transmission for something newer." Izuku observes as the massive tank rolls to a stop next to the tiny german light tank.

"I'm ready!" Eri shouts through the driver's hatch.

"Tell us what you did!" Momo demands.

"Nope, race me first!" Eri insists.

"Just let her go, this is her first tank." Izuku says before Momo could insist.

"Fine." Momo agrees, "But don't hesitate to take control if something bad happens."

"I will." Izuku replies, sadly realizing he would have to be in his tank.

Soon enough the two tanks had reached the front of the queue. Izuku was lucky to have found this track as it was owned by a man with an asphalt control quirk. This made it easy to repair and as such the man allowed anything to race, including heavy tanks.

As the lights begin their starting sequence Izuku takes one last look at the massive tank. He actually hoped Eri was faster since then he wouldn't be crushed when the big tanks brakes struggled to stop it. Eri already had made a habit of forgetting to upgrade or one time even repair her brakes.

As the go is signaled a tremendous roar drowns out all other sound and the big tank actually has some track slip before taking off, easily outpacing the much lighter tank.

Izuku did manage to catch up a bit by the end of track but it was already lost. The only thing left was to stop.

The big M6 did stop, several meters into a forest at the end of a large field past the end of the track. And her brakes were on fire.

"Why is there always a fire?" Izuku mutters irritably as he grabs his tank's extinguisher to help Eri, who had already jumped onto the engine deck with hers.

The arrival of Momo and Ochako with the tracks fire crew swiftly put it out and the group had a moment of rest while Momo created the replacement parts.

"So, what did you do?" Tsu asks with some irritation.

"Not much, I just re-tuned it and increased the compression a bit. Then I added a pair of turbos and a pair of superchargers. And then I gave it an electrically operated dual clutch transmission." Eri explains.

"How much power is that?" Izuku asks.

"I couldn't find a dyno big enough, but it should be around 2200 kW (3000 hp)." Eri answers.

"And what did you do to the brakes?" Momo asks.

"Well..." Eri says looking away.

"I need to hear it from you." Momo demands, holding a burnt out brake component.

"Nothing." Eri admits, looking at her feet.

Everyone merely sighs.

"I'll figure something out next time." Eri says.

"Good, now let's finish fixing this and go home." Izuku says, "I will be driving though."

"Aww." Eri pouts.

"No arguments." Izuku insisted.

"I'll lift the panzer onto the M6 when the repairs are done." Ochako says, before helping Momo lift the brake parts up to the engine deck.

"And I will go arrange for this field to be repaired." Tsu says before hopping away.

AN: how about that? A far future chapter with a teenage Eri and a bit of fun with one of the more interesting tank prototypes. M6 actually has more horsepower than almost any other US tank, and it is one of the first tanks with an automatic transmission, though they also had an electric option. Oh, I didn't clarify in the chapter but there are 2 M6s one for Eri to modify and the other for the collection and as a reference for when the modifications go too far.

Anyway, let's see the reviews: I'll do a sequel to the Sci-fi tanks chapter soon, you all have good suggestions. I will be ignoring the baneblade variants, there are plenty of other interesting tanks. I will also address if tanks are outdated or not. Quick answer: it depends!

P.S. I'm too tired to edit properly tonight, but I want to get this out so it is what it is...
