"Don't worry Eri, even if the festival's been canceled, we can still have fun." Izuku says after Gentle Criminal had infiltrated UA and canceled the school festival.
"But you all worked so hard." Eri says.
"Not everyone, they didn't have anything for me to do." Izuku says honestly, as his random quirk and lack of personal fitness, at least compared to other hero students, prevented him from being much help. "Let's go for a drive."
"A drive?" Eri asks curiously.
"Yeah, I summoned this Luchs today and while it was useless against Gentle, it's still in one piece and good to go." Izuku explains.
"Ok, let's go." Eri agrees and the two hurry to the dorms where Izuku has some spare tanker helmets.
Izuku sat carefully in the commander's position with Eri on his lap. She was wearing an oversized leather helmet and oversized leather knee and elbow protectors, since they couldn't find Momo and had to grab Tsu's set.
"Here we go!" Izuku cheers as he floors the tank and races out of UA heading for some of his favorite local roads.
At first Eri was a bit frightened by the wind and noise of the little tank, but as soon as she turned around she saw the bright smile on Izuku's face as he raced along a coastal highway and she decided to wait a while before saying anything.
Eventually the excitement spread to Eri and she was smiling as the two terrorized the motorists and when a speed camera caught her smile as they raced by the police quickly forgave the charge.
