The moon was full at doves creek, the only sound were that of the creatures of the night, and a little girl about the age of six sneaking a midnight ride on her pony Adontis through the southern fields of her fathers lands. She had tried to be quiet but the thrill of the midnight ride had taken over her sense of awareness. Although the girl did not know where she was riding Adontis did for he had taken this road before only with out a rider.
The little girl was getting tired and started to fall asleep in the saddle Adontis sensing this, slowed his pace to a walk. After while of walking the little girl drifted asleep and fell off her pony, but the fall did not wake her for she fell on soft heather. Adontis stood beside her, and called out to a friend that he saw walking out of the woods. His friend was a man that seemed ageless he was six feet two inches tall with medium length black hair that was tied back into a ponytail, his eyes were a forest green with hints of gold in them, they held a certain laughter in them that brightened when he saw the girl asleep in the grass. Chuckling to himself he walked over to the horse and it's rider, stooping down he checked the girl for injures then he picked her up, and mounted Adontis.
As he was about to ride to the main house where the little girl lived a voice called out to him from the woods.
"TRINTON! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING!" the voice yelled
"Boshne! Keep it down you'll wake her!" Trinton whispered
"WHY SOULD I KEEP IT DOWN FOR A MORTAL?" Boshne said in a loud voice as he walked out of the woods where Trinton had just come from.
"She's not supposed to know that we are here." Trinton whispered
"THEN I SUGGEST YOU PUT HER DOWN!" Boshne yelled defiantly
"We can't just leave her here!" Trinton said surprised at Boshne
"Why not? she's not our responsibility" Boshne said crulely
"BOSHNE! She is our responsibility!" Trinton said angrily
