Dear Mr. Lewis

A Letter
Author's Note: Just a little thing I wrote for The Lion's Call, Writing Contest #20: Write a letter to C. S. Lewis from a Narnia character. I chose Reepicheep.
Your Authoress,
Pippa Johansen
Dear Mr. Lewis;
It has come to my attention that you have portrayed me as a hero in the books Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I must though, take a slight offence to the fact that you had my tail cut off. However, you did restore it, therefore, I have no bitter feelings. I must also take offence to when you allowed Eustace Scrubb to swing me about by my tail. That was one of the less enjoyable parts. I applaud you for making me so fast and swift. I would, however, have made me a bit better at the game of chess. Though every time I lost, I lost valiantly. I greatly thank you for creating their Majesties King Peter, King Edmund, King Caspian, Queen Susan, and Queen Lucy. I must admit that Eustace Scrubb was a fair companion as well. I must bid you farewell.
Most Sincerely,
Reepicheep the Mouse.
