I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Qwark, or any of the ParaNorman characters.

Taylor hears the bell rings, and she sees the kids, she soon put her goggles to see what Norman is seeing, Norman soon closed his locker, which had a message saying, 'see yu tomorrow FREAK'

Taylor soon took off her goggles, and sees Norman leaving the building, she soon asked, "So how'd it go for school?" Norman looked at her and her friends then kept on walking, Taylor soon went to him, and said, "Must've had a bad time."

Suddenly they heard some panting, and saw Neil running up, and said, "Norman, wait up!"

Norman looked, and said, "Despite having them with me, I keep telling you, Neil. I like to be alone."

"So do I!" Let's do it together," Neil replied, being all enthusiastic about it. This caused Taylor to smile. Norman looked at Neil, who soon said, "You shouldn't let them get you down. They always do stuff like that to me."

Norman looked at Neil, and asked, "Why?"

Neil turned, and said, "Because I'm fat. And my allergies make my eyes leak. And I sweat when I walk too fast. And I have a lunch box with a kitten on it. Ooh. And I have irritable bowel syndrome."

"Okay, that part was a TMI, kid, too much information," Taylor replied.

"I guess there's a bunch of stuff," Neil said, he soon looked at the group and said, "By the way, I'm Neil, Neil Downe."

"Taylor Fearbrave, and on my shoulder is Tess, and with me is Qwark," Qwark gave her a look, and Taylor said, "Okay, Captain Qwark." He then smiled for the correction.

Norman looked and asked, "Anyway with those issues, doesn't it bother you?"

"No. You can't stop bullying. It's part of human nature. If you were bigger and more stupid, you'd probably be a bully, too." The continued to the statue the tourists were while Neil continued, "It's called 'survival of the thickest.'"

"Psst!" said a voice.

They looked at the statue and Neil said, "That statue just 'psst' at us."

They soon see Prenderghast peaking at them. He soon looked at them, and asked, "Do you know who I am?"

Neil asked, "The weird, stinky old bum who lives up the hill?"

Prenderghast went to the other side of the statue, and said to Neil, "I was asking him!" He was pointing at Norman.

Norman backed up a bit, and said, "Yeah, uh, I know." Norman tried to walk away from him, while saying, "I was told not to talk to you. Sorry."

Prenderghast soon moved Neil out of the way, and asked Norman, "And you know why you're not supposed to talk to me?" Norman shook his head no in reply, then Prenderghast said, "I can see ghosts, too!" This surprised Norman a bit, as his great uncle continued, "And I know that's not all you've been seeing lately, is it?" He soon paused and continued while doing dramatic movements, "Bad omens? Things you can't quite explain. Strange faces peering through the veil?" Taylor knew he was right from that vision both her and Norman saw during rehearsal. He soon held on to Norman, and asked while showing the statue of the witch, "And I'll bet no one told you about the witch's curse, did they?"

Norman looks at the statue, then replied, "Actually, we're learning about it in school."

"Oh, oh! I'm a tree!" Neil said enthusiastically.

Prenderghast groaned, then said to Norman, "There's something you really need to know. This is the most important thing you will ever hear. The fate of everyone depends on it!" He paused, then said to Norman, "Now, listen close. The witch's curse is real! And you're the one who has to stop it." Norman gasped at that, as his great uncle continues, "You've got to use your gift," he paused then wheezes, "of talking to the dead." He then was wheezy coughing, then said, "Because, if you don't, the witch's..." some of the words were lost in translation due to his coughing and wheezing, he soon fell to the ground then said, "Oh, oh. This is the most important thing of all!" He gasped, then said, "You've got to..." but then coughed, then said, "You've got... You've..." He soon was coughed, but then an apple hit him.

Leave him alone!" Neil said, Prenderghast growled, to turn to Neil, who held something, and said, "Don't make me throw this hummus. It's spicy."

Prenderghast cowered and exclaimed fearfully, he soon looks at Norman, and said, "This ain't done with!" He soon walks to Norman, who backs up, as his uncle said, "You'll see it soon enough." He paused, leaned forward, and said, "Watch for the sign." He soon clapped, and laughs wheezily, then winced at Neil, who still has the hummus, then left.

Neil soon nodded, and said, "Geez, what a dirty old creep."

Norman looked and said, "He's, my uncle." He soon looked at Taylor, and said, "You looked like you believe what he said."

"You have no idea, especially of what I had gone through so far Norman," Taylor replied.

"What?" Norman replied.

"I'll explain later," Taylor replied back.

Neil soon went to Norman, and asked, "So is it true?"

"What?" Norman asked.

Neil asked with enthusiasm, "You can see ghosts, like everywhere, all the time?"

"Uh, yeah," Norman replied.

"Awesome!" Neil replied, then said, "Ooh, ooh! Do you think you could see my dog, Bub?" Neil soon felt down and said, "He was ran over by an animal rescue van. Tragic and ironic." He soon felt enthusiastic again, and said, "We buried him in the yard. Could you see him?"

"Maybe," Norman replied.

"Sweet! Come on!" Neil said, while grabbing Norman's and pulled him.

Taylor soon took Tess's headband and said, "Sorry Tess, but I want you to follow Prenderghast something tells me something might happen." Tess thought, then nodded, and left to follow Prenderghast.

While the ottsel went to him, Taylor and Qwark to follow Neil and Norman.
