I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Qwark, or any of the ParaNorman characters.

Taylor and Qwark with Norman were soon back at the Babcock residents, then Taylor heard Perry said, "I really don't think we should be leaving him."

"Perry, you promised a meal that someone else microwaved," Sandra said, while she tried to look at herself in the mirror to get ready.

Perry pointed upstairs, and said, "He's probably up there right now, fiddling with his Ouija, or his orbs, or whatever it is he's got up there! This is not good!"

They soon heard a door closed, Taylor looks at Norman, who was walking around in his room, then he looked at something that made him jump, which was a poster that had a zombie on it with words saying, 'THE DEAD RISE!' He stared at it, then jumped again at a zombie head lamp, which he turned off, he moves somewhere else, but then tripped on something that squeaked, which was a zombie slipper, he sighs, tosses it over his shoulder, and looks at his zombie poster decorations over his bed, then gasped after his cell phone rang, which caused Taylor to asked, "You have the Halloween movie theme set as a ringtone, despite I never saw that movie?" He pushed a button on his phone, causing it to beep, he looks at it, along with Taylor which it read, 'Come to the window!' Norman looks out his window for a bit, and yells, and went down. Taylor looked and asked, "What's wrong?" Taylor looked down and saw Neil wearing a hockey mask. She soon asked, "Despite I didn't see that film either, and sorry if you're sensitive to this but, aren't you supposed to be a bit thinner to be Jason, Neil."

Norman looked down, as Neil moved his mask up and asked, "Do you want to play some hockey?"

Norman got up a bit, and replied, "You know, I've kind of got other things on my mind right now."

Neil then asked, "Is it all that walking dead stuff again?"

Norman sighed, and replied, "Mr. Prenderghast appeared to me in the bathroom."

"Ew," Neil replied.

"No! His spirit," Norman said, paused, then said, "He says the witch's curse is real, and I have to go up to the old graveyard and stop it before the sun sets tonight."

Neil said nothing, then asked, "So, you want to come play a bit later?"

Norman looked at him, and asked, "Didn't you hear what I just said?"

Neil replied while rubbing his hands, "Yeah, but I thought my idea was the less likely to get us eaten."

Norman shook his head, and said, "Just go home, Neil. I'm better off on my own, anyway."

Neil soon said, "But..."

"Go home!" Norman said, as he closes his window.

Taylor soon felt a present, and put on her goggles, set them to Median Vision, and saw Norman's Grandma, who said, "Sheesh. Who rattled your chains?"

Norman sighed, and replied, "No one." Taylor soon waved hello to Norman's grandmother. This caused Norman to be surprised, and asked, "Wait, you can see her?"

"Oops," Taylor said, she soon sighed, and said, "Yes, I can, but only through my goggles on a setting called Median Vision." Norman was surprised, then Taylor said, "But that's not all I can do." She soon tapped the gem on her staff, which soon turned her invisible. Taylor soon reappeared, and said, "And your action figure I asked to borrow, I used it for something called Enhanced Clairvoyance, which helps me see things through your eyes."

Norman soon was surprised, then asked, "Wait so did you see me with Mr. Prenderghast?"

"Yes," Taylor replied, paused then said, "I was about to turn it off when you went into the bathroom, to respect your privacy, but soon saw you weren't well, you know, but I did see also the visions you were seeing."

Norman thought, then nodded, they soon see his grandma look out the window to see Neil leaving, but then Norman said to his grandma, "Dad says I'm not supposed to talk to you anymore, Grandma."

Grandma rose from Norman's bed, and said, "Jerkidiot." She soon paused, then continued while struggling to get out of the bed, "If I were a poltergeist, I'd throw something at his head." She soon grunted, then said, "You know, by rights, I'm supposed to be frolicking in paradise with your grandfather. But I'm not."

Norman soon asked while playing with his action figures, "So, why did you stay?"

"I was never one for frolicking," Norman's grandma replied, paused, then continued, "I'll bet there's no cable or canasta up there, either. Besides, I promised I'd always look out for you."

Norman sighed, turned, and said, "So it's your duty."

"Uh, in a manner of speaking," Norman's grandmother replied.

Norman soon asked, "And you would do it, no matter what?"

"Of course," his grandmother replied back.

Norman looks at his toy, and said, "Even if it was something really scary?"

His grandmother put a hand to his toy, and replied, "There's nothing wrong with being scared, Norman, so long as you don't let it change who you are."

Norman soon smiles at her, then she moves away, straight to the poster of a woman screaming, and he soon had a stern face, looked outside, and asked Taylor, "You're coming, right Taylor?"

"Sorry Norman, I need to stay and try to watch your sister, however," she turned to Qwark, and said, "Qwark, I want you to go to town, in case things go awry."

"Got it," Qwark replied, saluting her.

She smiled, and then asked, "You got something that belongs to your father that I can use Enhanced Clairvoyance on?" Norman nodded and gave her one of Perry's hats.

Taylor soon sees Courtney painting her toenails, as she said, "So I said to her, 'Girl, come back when and talk to me when your basket toss gets 12,000 hits on YouTube!'" She chuckled, then said, "Yeah. No, I said that. Yeah, I'm stuck on lame patrol. Tonight's going to be a total yawn." Suddenly they heard the door slam, this caused Courtney to groan loudly, and yell, "Norman! You better not be sneaking out you little weirdo!"

Taylor sees Norman leaving on his bike, while Qwark left to get to town, but Taylor soon got something to help her see things through his eyes, which was a replica of one of his blasters.

So, Norman now knows a bit of Taylor's abilities, and is off to try to stop the curse, will he do it, and how long can Taylor hold off Courtney? Anyway, if you're reading this, thanks for reading.
