I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, or any of the ParaNorman characters.
Taylor soon uses her Enhanced Clairvoyance to see thing through Norman's eyes, for he was riding his bike all the way to the hill, during that Taylor heard some Hip-Hop music, and saw Alvin break dancing to impress some girls, but was knocked down and thrown off when Norman passed him. "Oh, that would've hurt," Taylor thought.
Norman soon made it to Mr. Prenderghast's house but stepped back a bit at the sight of it but kept moving. He opened the door, went in and closed it. He gulped called, "Hello?" there was nothing, then asked again, "Mr. Prenderghast?" Norman soon knows that he was dead, and also passed on, so he wouldn't answer. So, he turned on his phone, and used it as a flashlight, and looks around, he soon sees a slug come out a female mannequin's nose, causing Norman to say, "Ugh!" as he winces in disgust. Both him and Taylor, who is seeing things threw his eyes, at the bizarre things in the house. As Norman keeps on moving, he gasped as he heard something squeaking, then continues to a door that has a lit room. Floorboards creak as he slowly approaches the room, but then his phone beeps, and turns off. He soon taps it, while saying, "Oh, come on." He soon pounds his phone, and said, "Darn it." After a few flashes, the phone's light came back on, and Norman flashes it at an old teddy bear. Suddenly the bear's mouth opens, and out came a swarm of moths that were attracted by the light. He grunts as he fans away the moths, but then tosses his phone, walks backwards towards the door, which opens, and he soon trips to lie on the floor on his back. He soon looks, and gasps at the corpse of his great uncle Prenderghast. He soon exclaims in disgust at the body and backs away from it.
"Hey, are you okay?" asked a voice. Norman looks around, then the voice said, "Up here." Norman looks up and sees Taylor's friend Tess. She comes down and said, "That must've been a bad trip."
Norman looked at her in shock and asked, "You can talk?"
"Yeah, I can talk, and though Taylor told you that I was a ferret, I'm actually an ottsel, which means I'm half weasel, and half otter, but anyway, let's get back to business," she put a hand to her ear and said, "Taylor, I suggest you use Clairvoyance on me, since you still have my headband."
"Roger," Taylor replied, who swapped her Clairvoyance to Tess's point-of-view.
Norman then looked at the book Prenderghast's husk was holding in his hand, walks towards it, and tries to take it, but the husk had such a death grip to it. He soon grunts as he tries to get the book, he soon continues to get but then the body hits a desk, causing Tess to say, "Ooh, if he was still alive, that would've hurt." Norman fearfully tries again but was hitting Prederghast's head.
After a few bonks, Norman soon pulled, while saying, "Let go!" He pulled again, and the body was soon standing up, while Norman said, "Come on!"
After one more tug, he soon got the book. Tess soon smiled while Norman chuckles, but then saw the body leaning towards him, and said, "Norman, look out!"
Norman looks and the body soon fell on top of him. The jaw dropped, and the tongue landed near Norman's mouth. He screams, and grunts while trying to get the body off of him. He eventually was off of it, he then panted and shivered after that experience.
"Well, you will be brushing your teeth thrice a day from that experience," Tess said. Norman looks at her with a glare, but then looks at the book, then made a stern look. Tess soon said, while jumping on Norman's shoulder, "I'm coming with you, so Taylor can see this." Norman nodded and began to leave the house with Tess and the book.
Norman now has the book, and Tess is with him so he can fulfill the promise of his late great uncle, will he be able to do it. Anyway, if you're reading this, thank you for reading.
