I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Bentley, Qwark, Mz. Ruby, or any of the ParaNorman characters.

Norman and Tess soon went to the town graveyard, with Taylor still seeing things through Tess's eyes. Norman soon looks at the sun, which is almost set, he soon looks down an archway made of tree branches and went in but exclaimed as he slipped down with Tess. He soon looks at something that some brambles, moved them, and found an engraving saying:

HERE LIE BURIED
THE SEVEN VICTIMS OF
THE WITCH'S CURSE

"This is it," Norman said. He soon pushed through the branches, and caused his hair to be all messy, but it eventually stuck back up, and saw the seven gravestones of the victims. Norman looks at the sun, then took the book out of his backpack. He sighs, and said, "Read from the book, stop the curse, go home, and pretend this never happened." He opens the book, which was hard to get the page to stick due to the wind whistling. Norman clears his throat and begins reading, "Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there lived a king and queen in a magnificent castle." Norman looked in disbelief, and asked, "What? A fairy tale?"

Taylor was confused, then used the action figure to get to see it through Norman's eyes, but then suddenly someone took it from Norman's hands and thought, "Uh oh."

"Hey!" said a voice, Taylor soon took off her goggles, and saw Courtney, who asked, "Okay, weird girl, where's my weird brother?"

"Uh, possibly at his friend's placed," Taylor lies with a grin.

Courtney looked at her scoffs, and said, "Okay, I'm going to get him, and you're coming with me."

Courtney grabs Taylor's hand, who said, "Oh, okay."

Taylor soon puts her goggles back on, and sees Norman and Tess near Alvin, who must've followed them. He held the book and asked Norman, "Ooh, what have you got there, Geekula?"

"No! Give it back!" Norman protested, trying to get the book back.

Alvin laughs, and said, "Oh, I can't wait to see everybody's faces when they hear about this one."

"No, no. Don't! Alvin!" Norman said.

Alvin looked at Norman and said, "Hey. Nobody makes me miss out on a possible date with a girl that almost had some interest in talking to me." Norman looks at the sun, which was finally setting, while Alvin continued, "Yeah? Thought so! You got nothing to say."

"Uh-oh," Norman said.

"Dang straight, 'Uh-oh.' That's what happens when Alvin gets around here," Alvin said, as the sun finally sets while he continues, "'Uh-oh, is that Alvin?' 'Uh-oh, Alvin's going to make me run home to Mommy.'"

Suddenly a high pitch sound came, as if an announcing intercom was playing, and the three, and Taylor might think she and Qwark will hear it as well, as a familiar voice came on and said, "Wake up citizens of Blithe Hollow, tonight is the night of the death of your fellow witch. I am Mz. Ruby, making this announcement from her burial spot, I am here to tell you that the curse was real, it was held at bay by your eccentric bum, however, he tried to pass his duties, but the individual has failed, this is now causing a thickness of a voodoo vibe. Despite this though, I won't be taking part in helping her with her vengeance, since I am waiting for someone that came to this place to stop me and mainly the witch. Hear that, girl? Until you come to me, I won't do any dead raising since this is part of the curse!"

Mz. Ruby soon laughs, and some clouds soon came up, thundered rumbled, and the clouds took the form of a face of a witch. Alvin looks and said in a whimpering voice, "Uh-oh." The witch soon cackles, while Alvin asked, "What is that?"

"It's her," Norman replied.

"This is not good," Tess said, Alvin was shocked at Tess talking, she looks at him, and said, "Yes, I can talk, but now's not the time for that we have bigger problems."

Soon the clouds swirled around, taking shapes of hands, causing the three to exclaim fearfully. The claws soon moved straight towards the area where the three were, and the witch shrieks, causing Norman to gasp and covered his ears, and Alvin to make a shrill screech and cower behind Norman. The claws soon dove down and into the ground, which cracks. They soon heard some thudding, and Alvin asked, "What's that sound?" The ground began moving, and out came a hand, causing the three to yell and turn. They soon exclaim fearfully and heard some growling as zombie began to rise from its grave, causing Norman to yell, they all looked and another one pops out, groaning as it turns its head in place, then another one pops out groaning, and crawling out of its grave. One by one the zombies begin to come out, until the last one which read 'Judge Hopkins' thudding was heard, and the trio see now Judge Hopkins rising from his grave, and roars.

"We're in serious trouble," Tess said.

Norman soon took the book from Alvin, he soon reread the part he tried to say again, while Alvin said, "Make it stop, please, now please!"

Norman stammers, and yelled, "It's not working!"

Hopkins growls, but then somehow said, "Stop!"

Norman whispery asked, "Stop?"

"You must stop!" Hopkins said.

"What?" Norman asked.

"Norman? What are you doing?" Alvin asked, then winced, ran off, and said, "I think I peed my pants!"

Norman closed the book, Tess got on his shoulder, while he said, "Wait!"

Norman pushes past the zombies, while Tess looks back, as the zombies follow them.

So, Norman has failed to stop the curse, and the dead have come, what will Taylor do, since she knows the curse has happened, and Mz. Ruby said she's not using her voodoo powers, yet.
