Umm... posted this in the Young Hercules bit, bit no one seems to check that out much. And it is a 'Hercules' story, and theis topic doesn't specify 'Legendary Journeys'. I don't own the YH characters, or the mythological characters. I also don't own Neila and Dea, they are my friends, and they own themselves :)

Jason was running through the hallway of the academy as fast as he could. Anyone watching him would think there was a hydra after him, or Medusa; no one would have guessed he was late for Feducious' class.
He was late coming home from Corinth, he'd had a meeting that morning, and a parade the day before he had to be present for, but he wasn't sure he was going to be believed this time.
He and his friend, Hercules, Iolaus, Neila and Dea, were often going off gallivanting. Whenever they were late back and were caught, they would always blame the fact they were in Corinth accompanying Jason for a meeting in Corinth. How many times had that excuse been used this Spring? It was the truth this time, but was all the lies in the past make the present truth a lie?
He was worrying so much about his explanation that he didn't see the girl until was sprawled on his back on the ground facing her.
"Walk much?" she muttered pushing herself into a sitting position, gathering the scrolls she had been carrying.
"I'm sorry," the prince apologised, pushing himself up a little and helping her pick up the scrolls. "Are you hurt?" he asked.
She shook her head, "My bracelet broke my fall," she said picking up a snapped silver chain.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Jason said sincerely.
The girl shrugged, "It's not a big deal," she said, but he couldn't help feeling bad.
The prince pushed himself into a sitting position and offered her a hand. She ignored it and got up herself. "You new here?" he asked. When she was at full height he could see her better. She had long dark brown hair, and, and pair of green eyes. He definitely hadn't seen it her before.
But to his surprise she shook her head, "Not new, I just used to be invisible," she said bluntly.
Jason nodded, she was one tough girl. "I'm Jason by the way," he said.
She nodded, "I know."
"You do?" he'd never gotten that reaction before. Most people are impressed with that piece of information.
"Yeah, you're the Crowned prince of Corinth," she said and put the scrolls on the floor. The Prince looked on confused. She pulled a dagger from her belt, a weapon he hadn't noticed she was wearing. "I've coem here to kill you," she said holding it up.
Jason swallowed, he had definitely not had that reaction before!
