Tried to fix some of the spelling and grammatic errors as this was a little rushed I will update this fic on occasion but it will focus on Yi Momeru the lead character and his world beyond the martial arts underground world. Please enjoy.

Chapter 1

Day On Kyoro High School

"My name is Yi Momeru. Today is my first day working at the highschool of Kyoro in this quiet area a few tens of kilometers from Tokyo. I will be a teacher to the third year learners. I feel honored to be a catalyst to those that will inherit the future. The potential of the next generation is truly immense. I hope you treat me well while I am in your care". This is the introduction of a man who can claim to be the strongest master in the world currently living. The unassuming young man wearing black pants and a white long sleeve shirt with a blue tie introduces himself to the class of 3-C of Kyoro. The mundane students and teachers notice nothing special and the man.

Only four special students notice the aura that the new teacher emanates, the way it spreads encompassing the whole room. They also notice the ki while it is not threatening it makes it obvious who is strong in the room. The man is young and attractive having neck length jet black hair, spotless face, kind eyes, thin lips and no facial hair one would swear to be seeing a bishounen it was the height that dispelled any notion of femininity standing at 2.3 centimeters tall. The petite frame of the man belies the god of war physique that is mostly hidden by the long sleeves and pants. The man weighs in at 90 kilograms. This is without the weights that are placed all over his body. He currently weighs five times his body weight at 450 kilograms. This is because of the multiple weights weighing down on him. Even under this strain he still moves with the mobility of a top class athlete. This is evidence of an earlier incident that showed his light footedness.

30 minutes earlier.

Yi park's his oldmans people car, an itasha if anyone has seen one in a parking area that is in full contrast of the modern cars. The car itself has a certain classy feel. He alights and takes in the view before him. The building in front of him has a steady flow of learners entering. He heads toward the building with a general entrance. As he enters the door a faculty member coming up the stairs in a matter of seconds, the approaching Yi blindsided by the corner of the descending stairs bumps into Ono Kyoko-sensei the female faculty teacher is knocked off balance and as she was about to fall Yi quickly move behind her and pushes her to the other direction where he was standing moving quickly again the teacher falls into Yi's arms catching her in an embrace the closed eyed Ono-sensei slowly opens her eyes. She is met by the sight of a handsome young man. She develops a slight blush and a starry eyed look for a second. The awkward situation that attained looks from the present students appeared as if the female teacher was about to fall as she tripped over from the stairs and was saved by the male teacher. This is dispelled by the question of Yi "Are you alright sensei?.". Ono regaining her composure answers" Yes, thank you... ". Seeing the unasked question Yi lets go of Ono and says" I am Yi Momeru the new substitute teacher for the third year class. It is my first day here in Kyoro. Please treat me well.". Ono also introduced herself and showed Yi to the principal office to get the necessary paperwork done. Then at the assembly Yi was introduced to the whole school. Bringing us to the present moment.

"I will be teaching biology as the main subject but you are free to consult me on Physics, Mathematics and English. My expectations are few chiefly being that you all excel in your studies and make this final year in Kyoro a memorable one.". Yi having attained fall command of the class said" Today we are not going to be doing anything but self introductions. ". To all students that were introduced only four caught Yi's attention, two females and two males. Kenichi Shirahama, Natsu Tanimoto, Miu Furinji and Renka Ma. These were high class disciples, but the most interesting one was the Shirahama boy who had this glint of light in his eyes. Yi felt a little excitement whirling up from within, nearly disturbing his ki control. The slight tremor was felt by the four disciples as quickly as it appeared it ebbed away regaining composure. The monotony of the school hours continued until it ended by lunch time. This is when it was proven that the new teacher was a bachelor of all the staff members as he went out of the school for lunch.

The three disciples were having their lunch on the rooftops as they watched the new teacher drive away during lunch. It was Tanimoto that spoke first and said " This new teacher... ". A hint of suspicion in his voice. Kenichi asked" What about him?.'' With genuine inquiry. "Something doesn't feel right about him.". Still voice was laced with suspicion. It was Renka that spoke" So you have noticed as well. ". Holding a similar suspicion as Natsu but more sure of her intuition. All eyes now focused on Renka to expound upon this suspicion. She continued" I noticed earlier the way he carries himself. His movements have a lot of purpose as if he is controlling... no not controlling more like manipulating everything within his surrounding area. ". Miu interjected" Is it my imagination or was there a brief ki disturbance earlier as if someone released their ki unintentionally for a split second. Kenichi reassured her that he felt it too." I felt it also but it was strange that I thought nothing of it. Do you think it was the new teacher that released that ki?.". There was a brief pause when suddenly a disembodied voice spoke " There's only one way to find out. ". All looked up to the source of the voice which belonged to Niijima Haruo aka demon king, alien. It was Kenichi who asked" What do you mean Niijima?. ". Puzzled how they are going to go about that. Niijima answered" I mean we have to find out if he is just a normal teacher or a hidden assassin disguised as a teacher sent by the remnants from Yami to take out those that stopped them and their plans. I also get suspicious when the underground or the internet has nothing on him.".All four teenagers had a thoughtful expression seeing that Niijima had done some checking and found nothing on the new teacher. Meanwhile...

Yi pulled up to the parking area of the train station and got out descending the subway stairs to get to the eatery. They already had his order. As he sat there the 12:15pm train arrived. The passengers alighted among the throng a young woman wearing a long trench coat carrying a wrapped package. The young woman is fairly attractive in form. She had emotionless eyes and a permanent pout. As she steps out of the train the perception of the world by Yi suddenly turns monochromatic and a disturbance of ki is felt. Yi stops eating his lunch, lowering his chopsticks and turning to the incoming crowd. All but one is highlighted in color. A young woman about Yi's age if not younger by a year or two. If Yi was a mundane man seeing this sight of her he would have concluded a love at first sight. Yi is not a simple man as this woman is also not a simple woman. He could not hide from her as much as she could not hide from him. The light release of ki by Yi drew her attention. The two finally made eye contact. A brief non-hostile message was exchanged at that glance, even an invitation sent by Yi to the young woman. Yi returned to his lunch, eating away the few scraps left.

The time was 12:20 PM. A hesitant damsel in the name of Shigure Kosaka decided to break one of the rules she lived by as a sword hunter. Ever since she started sword hunting she would never turn aside to do anything until she returned to Ryozanpaku with her prize. Today she broke her rule sitting two chairs away from Yi. The waiter or stand minder approached her asking what she will be having. She asks for instant ramen. As Yi finishes his lunch he gets up and goes to the counter and orders two Anmitsu desserts paying for them and checks the time 25 minutes before the end of lunch time. Then moves towards Shigure. She tightens a bit as he approaches. Two steps from her he stops, looks at her form without focusing on any part and greets her also asking to sit on the next chair beside her. It is now that her order comes. She eats in silence not taking any side glance and five minutes later she is done. The two Anmitsu are served. She looks at Yi then the Anmitsu dessert then back at Yi. That is when Yi introduced himself " Hi, my name is Yi Momeru I am a teacher at Kyoro high school. ". That caught her interest. She introduced herself" I...am...Shigure ". Yi hearing this said" Nice to meet you Shigure, a token of my friendship to you. ". They enjoyed the Anmitsu. Talked for 5 more minutes. With 15 minutes left until the end of the lunch. Yi got up from the chair and said" I better not be late in returning from my lunch break. I don't want to make a bad impression on my first day. Be seeing you Shigure. ". As he left his form spoke of strength and control. Stirring at the Anmitsu that Yi was having she reached for it and as she touched it a heavy feeling of ki came upon her as if she was near the elder. 'That man is strong.' She thought. Then she thought about Kenichi and Miu and the danger they might be in if... She stopped that trail of thought and resolved to find out if this man was a threat or not to her disciples.

Miu, Renka, Kenichi,Natsu and Niijima noticed the arrival of Yi as he pulled up to the parking lot and got out of the car. The four teenagers noticed the air around the new teacher had quakes like tremors as if holding something back. They noticed Yi composing himself and walking towards the main entrance. Five minutes later the bell rang signaling the return to class as the break ended. As the four entered the class they saw Yi stirring out of the window seeing his back but not his face. This made all four hesitate for a moment. All four sensed that this man was strong. At the window the new teacher felt a familiar ki that quickly disappeared as he looked through the window. He had a faint quiver of a smirk on him as he stirred out of the window. He composed his facial features to hide any emotion and turned with a neutral expression meeting the four teenagers entering the class. The four teenagers seized in their stupor were released as the new teacher said "How was your lunch?.". The four did a double take as the new teacher was only two steps from them. All of them had a questioning look on their faces. It was Renka that answered. She was nervous and as a quirk of hers when nervous ,she reverted to speaking in Chinese answered" It was without incident. ". The teacher had momentarily frowned then smiled and said in Chinese" That is good to hear.". With a nod the four moved to their seats. The rest of the class filled in the monotony of the time remaining of the day was spent without incident. At 14:00 PM the bell rang signaling the start of the club activities. The students filled out going about their clubs. This is the time when he went to the staff room to socialize with the other teachers. The staff room had six female teachers and the youngest being Ono-sensei. She was the one that approached the new teacher Yi and said " Thank you for earlier it could have ended badly for me.". Yi replied "It was no trouble at all Kyoko-sensei". Ono said" Please call me Ono.".Yi replied "If you call me Yi.". There was a slight blush on Ono that quickly disappeared. The two exchanged a casual chat. At the same time the principal exclaimed" Oh! everyone is here, Momeru-sensei how was your first day?.". Yi smiled at the older man, principal Fukujiro Yasunaga and said " It went without incident sir.". The older man nodded and continued " Well then since today is the first day there is no agenda to hold a viable meeting I think early dismissal is in order.". A lot of the staff released a sigh they did not know they were holding. Yi, seeing this, raised his hand and said " Sir if I may since I am new I would like to have a tour of the building and grounds.". The older man said " I see no problem with that, Ono-sensei could you kindly escort Momeru-sensei to tour the building. ". The two made for the door.

Their first stop was the gymnasium where the gymnastics club was practicing their routines. The Furinji girl was clearly the ace of the club. Another note was a girl by the name of Chihiro Takashima a level or two below the Furinji girl. The two teachers remaining inconspicuous did not disturb the club activities. This is of course on Yi's part of using the technique Presence masking a technique similar but more advanced from the one Niijima once used. Since not only does it mask one's presence it renders them invisible being able to be detected by masters class level Martial artists. Having observed enough they went to the acting club. There they found Natsu surrounded by his harem of girls again they observed without disturbing the club. Yi observed that the young man truly hated acting and was only doing it to fool the mundane. They moved to the karate club where the first years were doing a set of kata's that are well known in the competitive sport of karate. Internally he sighed as the demonstration paled to the true art of karate both existing in different planes with an insurmountable gulf between the two practices. They left the young ones practicing and went to the physics club. Inside Niijima was teaching the new recruits of the Shinpaku alliance computer skills and questionable stealth techniques to spy on the unsuspecting. The computer skills impressed Yi as he observed. They moved on again and went to the kendo club, the kendo club was having a spar with the long spear club. The two duelists were at it showing the level of their mastery of the sword and long spear. This exhibition was meant to sway the spectators to join either club. It was fun to watch but the level they were at was middle class disciple tier and lacked the suspenseful moments higher class disciples and experts bring to a sparring match. They moved on and went to the garden club. The only one present was a girl pruning the shrubs while humming a soothing melody. The other member was coming in the club house with a wheelbarrow when he lost control of it when he noticed there were two other people his club president was not aware of. The girl was by his side to check on him and fortunately nothing major was afoot condition wise.

This amazed Yi as it was the first time being detected while he was using the technique. What amazed him was the fact that a disciple level was able to sense his hidden presence since he expected someone who can mold and hold their ki to be the only one that can detect him while using presence. Yi had a thought that this kid, no Kenichi, was more impressive than he appears. A genius maybe or someone who went through a lot to get to the level he was at. He could not be an expert as they did not have the ability to continually hold their released ki. Kenichi felt like a disciple level yet showed remarkable intuition of levels higher than the disciple level abilities. There has to be someone remarkable who is cultivating this young man. At this thought the masters of Ryozanpaku felt a cool breeze pass by. Yi took this moment to say" Ahm!.". The two met the gaze of the two teachers. He continued, " We were just checking the school, are you alright Shirahama?". He added the (kun honorific) the same way Akisame addressed Kenichi. It was Izumi that spoke first " Oh!, Kyoko-sensei, Momeru-sensei I did not hear you enter. ". Kenichi answered" I am fine, just a little bump.". Yi smiled then nodded and turned to Ono-sensei and said "Kyoko-sensei I would like to tour the garden and talk about botany with young Shirahama. Will you wait here with Izumi until the tour is concluded". Ono-sensei just nodded, being placated by the smile of his colleague. Yi moved toward the two teens and stretched out his hand to Kenichi and said" How about a tour to this beautiful garden, young Shirahama. ". Kenichi, not sensing any malice, took hold of the offered hand and lifted himself off the ground. The two moved off to the roof where sprouts were growing. What impressed Kenichi was the ability for Momeru-sensei to recall all the plants in their common names and scientific ones similar to what Chikage did when she first joined the garden club. On the roof they came upon a seed bed that had yellow and white flowers. The center being yellow and the petals being white. Yi said " Is this chamomile?. ". Kenichi answered" Yes it is, it is the European variant. ". Yi remarked " That explains my suspicion since only plants that I have seen in this garden are native to the island of Japan. ". Kenichi said" Yes it is a foreign plant with useful properties among which is the flower vibrance. ". Yi had a thoughtful expression and said" When it is ready to harvest, set aside one hundred of the plants for me. I am like you, a student of botany and also of herbology. I would like to assess the medicinal value of the plant.". To reassure him Yi placed a hand on his shoulder and said " It is a good job you and Izumi are doing in this garden. ". There was a disturbance of ki 300 meters from the school which quickly settled down but did not disappear. At which Yi turned to and smiled. Then said" It is good that you not only cultivate this garden but yourself. It makes me wonder what it would look like when it blooms.". Kenichi remarked" A good garden has good tenders.". This made Yi exclaim "Oh! I see.". A minute they spent talking about plants' medical value and uses. After five minutes the talk died down a bit and Yi's observations saw that Kenichi Shirahama was firmly planted in his beliefs and convictions which reminded him of himself. Yi said" You should head back first. I will linger a bit here and join you momentarily. ". Kenichi went without protest leaving behind Momeru-sensei. As Kenichi closed the door to the balcony he paused as he sensed ki released from outside momentarily turning everything black and white this also Miu felt the ki having felt the sensation knew that it was Momeru-sensei presence. Natsu stopped mid sentence on the practice of his on the Cheerleading club felt the disturbance to a surprise was Niijima who felt a chill though not directed at him. Yi was using a technique similar to the elders' obstructive lung called Presence. He asked" What fascinates you Shigure?. ". Shigure eyes widened at sensing Yi behind her. She turned to look behind her yet no one was there. Did she imagine the presence behind her she asked herself. Yi's presence spoke again in front of her " My apologies about that. ". Yi said, making Shigure stare into the emptiness before her. He spoke again" It is a reprehensible act to approach a maiden from behind .". Shigure turned her gaze to the direction Yi was and on his face on the balcony can make out a smirk. She nodded and said "There is only one man I know that can do that.". She spoke without pause which caught Yi's attention. Yi exclaimed" Oh! seems to be an interesting man. You should introduce me to him one of these days. ". Yi sounded as if he was floating mid air in front of Shigure. She smiled a genuine smile for the second time in her life. The smile was returned by Yi though faint from 300 meters and said" Be seeing you Shigure. ". As he walked into the garden club. The two members were tidying up the place and Ono-sensei was still there. Yi spoke first" Thank you Kyoko-sensei for the tour, I saw more than I would not have seen if I was not in your company. ". They left together leaving the two teens behind.

Terms in the story and meaning

Bishonen - is a Japanese term literally meaning "beautiful youth (boy)" and describes an aesthetic that can be found in disparate areas in East Asia: a young man of androgynous beauty.

ki - the circulating life force whose existence and properties are the basis of much Chinese philosophy and medicine.

Itasha - an itasha (痛車, literally "painful car") is a car decorated with images of fictional characters from anime, manga, or video games (especially bishōjo games or eroge).

Anmitsu- (あんみつ, rarely 餡蜜) is a Japanese dessert that dates to the Meiji era.

I am still working on chapter 2 of this story and I plan to make it 5000+ words if possible and add more action a fire scene but not to the death.
