Cute new farmer boy in town

Hey I'm May and I live in Rosebud Village with my Grandpa. My mommy doesn't live with us but I hope she does soon. Oh, today was the day this really nice guy came into town. His name is Andy. He played with me and Stu today and I like Stu, he's really fun to play with. Well I decided to start writing in this diary because when my mommy comes home she will want to know every thing that happened while she was gone. This is what happened today:

I ate my breakfast then asked grandpa if I could go play with Stu. He said yes. As I was walking to Stu's house I saw Ann and Karen at the square. My grandpa said that it was bad to listen to other peoples conversations, but Ann and Karen weren't bad people so I could listen…… What are conversations anyway? I should ask grandpa later. "Ann! Ann! Did you see the new farmer boy in town he is sooo cute!" Karen whispered to Ann. I have great hearing my grandpa says. I was hiding in a bush and it was fun. "Yah Karen I did see him, he is really cute. He came into the inn awhile ago to get some food."

"Oh do you think he's still there?" Karen asked with a wide grin on her face. "I don't know lets go see." Ann replied giggling.

They ran off and now I was really interested in finding out what the 'cute new farmer boy in town' was. I think Stu is a boy but he isn't new and….ill just have to ask Stu. I ran over to Stu's House because he was probably already mad about how late I was. I'm always late even if we didn't plan to play together.

"Hi Stu!" I yelled as I got to his house.

"Hey May!" he hollered right back. I asked Stu if he had seen the 'cute new farmer boy in town' yet. I really wanted to know what it was.

He said no and I told him it should be our quest for the day to find out what it was. He agreed so we went to the last place it had been spotted……the inn.

At the Inn…

"Hey Stu! I've never seen that guy over there before maybe he knows what the 'cute new farmer boy' is. We ran over to him and he said, "Hello, who are you two? I'm Andy."

"I'm Stu and this is May." Stu introduced us.

I asked him, "Hey do you know what the 'cute new farmer boy in town' is?"

He gave me a weird look then said, "I don't know maybe the 'cute new farmer boy in town' is me?

"You? Why would it be you!" I said.

"Well first I own a farm and im new in town." He said back.

"YOU OWN A FARM! OHHH ARE THERE ANIMALS AND AND AND COWS ANDANDAND SHEEP AND OH OH OH HORSES TOO?" Stu said with lots of excitement.

"Would you two like to go see it?" He asked.

"YES" we said in unison.

Andy told us that he didn't have any animals yet though because he just moved in. All he had was a dog. I have a dog too but it was fun to hang out at Andy's ranch.

We played a long time at the farm then we both went home. Well we might not have solved the mystery of the 'cute new farmer boy in town' but maybe Andy's right and it is him….I may never know…..
