First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, in which Kirigiri gets in to a fight with some men, and she nearly died if not for Naegi, and now the plot thickens as she and Naegi are starting to sense a patter as the abduction may be connected to the missing clown case, and they are starting to plan out how to flush out the culprits, and with the circus arc is still ongoing, expect a lot of fun...and suspense, so read on and enjoy!
At an unspecified location the scene shows that Naegi and Kirigiri are nearing the nearest hospital, and she is giving him instructions on what to do, as she told him that he has to stay inside the car and told him not to let anyone see him, knowing that if Naegi is seen wearing the red suit the witnesses may be compelled to call the mental hospital and this would jeopardize the undercover investigation, and the unwanted exposure Naegi would get should his face is seen and identified.
"Naegi...stay inside the car..."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"But..."
"I'll be fine. We can't let anyone see you in that suit...if someone sees you in THAT, they will be compelled to call paramedics...and that in turn would send you to the mental hospital...and that would jeopardize our undercover investigation."
"...oh, right..."
"Wait here...and wait for my call."
"...Okay."
Naegi sweat-dropped seeing her point as he did not want to get into that kind of situation so he nodded as he parked the car and Kirigiri gets off as she headed towards the emergency room where nurses saw her and began assisting her as they went inside the hospital, and Naegi leaned back as he wondered how he ended up in this kind of scenario, he was just tagging along with her in finding a missing clown, and ended up getting interviewed and landed part-time job at the circus, and on top of that, he is assigned to perform as the human cannonball, and he wondered what else awaits him as he is hoping he would not get into another complicated situation.

Ch. 84:Himitsuri ni Iku Junbi
At the emergency room, nurses and a doctor were administering first aid treatment and the bleeding stopped, and the doctor began sewing her left temple to patch it up, and she spent nearly 20 minutes there as she is being asked by the doctor what happened and why she got an injury like that, in which she claimed that she had an accident at home and had to rush here which seemed to have convinced the doctor and he opted not to ask her any further questions, until he asks her how she got here while holding the wound with a cloth.
"So..."
"Hmm...?"
"How were you able to get here while holding that clothnon your head?"
"I rode a taxi."
"Seriously...?"
"Yes. Is there a problem?"
"...well...no..."
"..."
After hearing her alibi, the doctor felt convinced that it was a simple accident, and finished closing her wound, and said that she should spend the night here just to be sure, but she kindly declined saying she has an important school project to turn it, which was actually a fake alibi, and said that once she submits it, she will head home and rest, and the doctor sighed seeing that he couldn't persuade her and he lets her go after she paid the bills, and as she left, she went straight to the car where Naegi is waiting inside, and as she gets in on the passenger side, he asks her how things went, and she said it went well without problems, and she took out her cellphone and called Chihiro, and there she told him to head to her house stating his assistance is needed.
"...and I'll fill you in once you get there..."
"So you're saying my help is needed? Are you investigating some case?"
"Yes...and you're the first person that came in my mind."
"..."
"Chihiro-san?"
"Okay...I'll head to your place."
"Thanks."
"Over and out."
Naegi blinked his eyes seeing that Kirigiri is summoning Chihiro and he asks her what is she planning to do, and she said that she will tell him once Chihiro arrives, as she told Naegi she has a plan on what to do next in order to commence their undercover investigation, and he asks her if she is really going forward, seeing that she had just undergo a minor operation on her forehead, and she said that a small wound would not hinder her especially when she sensed that there is a connection between the missing clown and the abduction of Bismarck Ang-Lee, and she told Naegi to drive her back to the condominium building right now.
"Huh?"
"Yes, Naegi-kun...drive me back there."
"Um...are you sure...?"
"Yes."
"So...what next after Chihiro arrive?"
"Ang-Lee's unit has been tampered...and we need to get there to infiltrate it since we might find some clues...and we may need Chihiro's talent if we are to solve this clown case...and now there may be other factors involved besides those paraglide men..."
"...I see..."
"..."
She stated that she is going to Bismarck's unit to see if she could find a clue at his room which might help her establish an investigation, and he nodded as he drives off and leaves the hospital, and as the car leaves, someone saw the two teens leaving, and the person watching them is none other than Nagito Komaeda, seeing that Naegi is using the red suit to do another investigation for Kirigiri, and he snickered at seeing Naegi stooping so low, seeing that the Luckster has not yet used the red suit to its full potential, yet he is patient enough to wait as he felt that now is not the right time yet to confront Naegi.
"How UNLUCKY of you, Naegi...you still haven't figured out on how to gain full access to that SUIT you are wearing..."
As Nagito left, he is shown to be wearing the super suit and jumps off, flying in the dark skies, and not far, two persons are also near the parking lot having seen Naegi and Kirigiri left, and they turn out to be Kazuichi Soda and Nekomaru Midai, and the two are harboring a grudge towards the two teens, as Nekomaru was turned into a cyborg after being electrocuted at the boiler room several months ago, while Kazuichi is itching for revenge after Kirigiri foiled his attempt to assassinate someone through arson, and wanted to kill Naegi for stopping him.
"Look...it's those two..."
"Thanks to them...I got electrocuted and forced to become a cyborg..."
"...and I lost all of my TOYS to the cops...and my shop closed down..."
"When I get my HANDS on those two...I swear...I'm gonna...!"
"Me too...I wanna barbeque that lavender-haired bitch..."
"Say...how about we go after them?"
"Sounds good..."
"Then we're set..."
As the two are considering going after Naegi and Kirigiri, Kazuichi's cellphone rang, and he answered it, in which the caller turns out to be none other than Junko Enoshima, and she told Kazuichi that he and Nekomaru are going to do an errand at Towa City, in which he and Nekomaru were not pleased, wanting to go after Naegi, but she charmed the two to wait and said that he and Nekomaru are going to OFF someone there, and Kazuichi listens on at what she is instructing him to do.
"You want me to...what...?"
"Yup...THAT..."
"Really...?"
"You heard me."
"Heh...sounds fun..."
"I know, right...?"
"So will you do it...?"
"Of course!"
Kazuichi grinned as he gets to use his arson equipment to kill someone and accepted and turns off the cellphone and told Nekomaru that they are going to Towa City to carry out an assignment, and Nekomaru asks if going there is a good idea, and Kazuichi said it will, stating that Junko wants to get something there and kill a group of people, and Nekomaru seemed to be fine with it as he wanted to test out his cybernetic body to its fullest, as well as to see what Kazuichi is going to do there.
"So she want us to go there and kill someone, huh?"
"Yeah...something like that..."
"I guess that will have to do."
"So you're coming, huh?"
"Yeah...I want to test out this body anyway...to know if I got stronger..."
"Then it's settled..."
"Fine."
"Then it's time to get going...!"
After that, the two boarded the van and glanced at the driver, who turns out to be none other than Mukuro Ikusaba, and there Kazuichi told Ikusaba that they are going to Towa City to carry out an assignment there and told her to make sure that they get to Towa City without being noticed, which Ikusaba asks what they are going to do once they get there.
"Oh...the usual."
"...really...?"
"Yeah...me and Midai are gonna play a bit...care to join us, soldier girl?"
"...no...I'll wait here in the van."
"Okay, then...let us get going!"
"Yeah, get this van started!"
"..."
"Yee-hah!"
Ikusaba nodded and the van moves out as it is leaving Tokyo and heads out for Towa City, where they are going to carry out the assignment of assassinating the parents of Monaca Towa, and to seize control of a factory there which houses high tech equipment and to secure the services of the owner there.

At the condominium building, Kirigiri gives Naegi a spare trench coat and motions him to follow her as they head for the 14th floor to get to Bismarck's room unit to find any clue that may lead to the identities of the two men who abducted Bismarck, and as they arrived, she tries to open it but the door was locked, and she attempts to open it until the door was opened and she raised an eyebrow when someone else greeted her, and as she showed her detective badge, she asks him if the abduction incident is reported, and the man denied such a thing, and she said that Bismarck Ang-Lee was abducted in this room, but the man said there is no such person here, saying that this room is a dating service, which he showed ber around, and her eyes widened seeing that he room was rearranged and that the broken windows were replaced, and the man said that she must have gotten the wrong place.
"There...as you can see...this place is like this ever since..."
"..."
"And I assure you...there is no Bismarck Ang-Lee...and no abduction as you claim..."
"..."
"I believe that you got the wrong place..."
"..."
"Well...that's about it..."
"..."
Naegi saw Kirigiri's fist clenching and he can tell that she us upset, but her stoic expression kept her from giving herself away, and she left with Naegi coming along and he asks her what is she going to do now, seeing that the scene of the crime has been tampered, and there she told him that aside from the circus, she sensed that something else is involved, and she is sure that this is more than just a cover-up, and she said that she will require Chihiro's assistance in this case.
"We head to my place."
"Kirigiri-san..."
"I am sure now...the circus is not the only thing involved in Mr. Nikolaivitch's disappearance...the dating service at that unit...Mr. Ang-Lee's abduction is also involved..."
"..."
"We'll discuss more of it later. Right now we head there...and we will fill in with Chihiro about what we gathered so far."
"Okay."
"Let's go."
"..."
She and Naegi leaves the condominium building and headed for the car as they are now heading to Kirigiri's house to set up their next plan in conducting an undercover mission as they now have several objectives to accomplish, and they are:
- find Piotr Nikolaivitch
- who took Bismarck Ang-Lee
- find the connection between the circus, Bismarck, and the dating service.

Looks like Kirigiri and Naegi hit a roadblock as the evidence has been tampered, and she is now sure that there is a cover-up, and senses a connection with this and the circus, and now she is determined to solve this case and Naegi is reluctantly pulled along for the ride.
Nekomaru Midai and Kazuichi Soda are back, though in a cameo as they are about to carry out another spree…
Mukuro Ikusaba also appeared and she is helping the latter two as Enoshima vocally appeared and this may be a foreshadowing of what's to come…
