A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.

1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.

2. I know that there are a lot of returning characters from part 3, and especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).

3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. (As I said before, I've worked ahead and have already written the first 24 chapters). If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.

4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy, and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 5: Fleeting Escape

It had been a few days since the attack, and Joanne and Jolyne had gathered the statues of Yukako, Koichi, Rohan, Okuyasu, and Josuke. Several Speedwagon Foundation members were present in Morioh. Some had cleaned up the dead body of Akira, and others were giving Jon an autopsy. Jon's full name was Jon Hercules Lelton. His age was 34, he was half Japanese, half American. They couldn't get any more data than that. Meanwhile, the statues were being studied and tested. As Jolyne and Joanne tried to comfort a crying Tomoko who was recently told what had happened to her son, a Speedwagon Foundation worker walked up to Joanne and Jolyne.

"Ms. Cujoh?" he asked. He had a name tag that said 'Binns'.

Jolyne stood up, "Yes, what is it?"

"We have given word to your father of what has happened. He wishes that we escort you to a flight back to Florida. Pack up your things, your flight leaves in a few hours."

"What?" Jolyne yelled, throwing her arms in the air, "What about Joanne? What about Josuke? What about that Stue guy? What about Dio? Does my dad not trust me with any of this?!"

"It's quite the opposite," Binns said, "He wishes to find out about Dio as well. He needs you to tell him everything in detail and he wishes for your help."

Jolyne sat back down, that was a surprising answer, "All right," she murmured. Two more Speedwagon Foundation members escorted her upstairs so she could pack up.

"What about me?" Joanne asked.

"You are to continue your investigation with us." Binns said, "Mr. Kujo has hand-selected three personnel to help you in this investigation."

Joanne was shocked, "Help me with the investigation?"

"Yes," Binns said, "Stue Rod couldn't have gotten extremely far with his injuries, we still need capable people here in Morioh. Now if you excuse me, I'd like to introduce you to the people you'll be working with. They're all Stand users."

A man that looked to be in his mid-twenties walked into the room. He had cherry red hair and wore a dark green robe. Behind him, a man in a wheelchair rolled in the room. He looked to be about fifty years old. He wore a cowboy hat, and boots. The man was smoking a cigarette. The man seemed to have an angry scowl on him. He looked at Joanne.

"Are you the Jones kid?" he asked, his voice was grouchy.

"Yes I am," Joanne said, trying not to sound intimidated. Double Abstract suddenly appeared and whispered into Joanne's ear, "I'm telling you now Jo, this grizzly old geezer is not going to be fun to hang out with."

"I heard that!" The old man stood up off of his wheelchair and a gun appeared in his hand. "Tell that to me again! I dare you!" The man pointed the gun at Abstract.

"Bring it on, grandpa!" Abstract yelled.

The old man seemed extremely angry as he held on to the gun with both his hands, "I'll shoot then! I swear to god I'll splatter your brains to the floor!"

"Abstract!" Joanne said, "Don't provoke him!"

"It's too late for that!" The man pulled the trigger. Joanne squeezed her eyes shut, Abstract couldn't dodge a bullet, this would be how they died, killed by a fifty-year-old man who they thought was an ally.

Joanne opened her eyes when she heard the old man laughing, "I'm not going to shoot you!" the man said through hysteria, "I could never hurt a woman!" Suddenly, the old man's legs began to shake and he fell to the floor. "Sorry about that," the man said, his hat having fallen a meter away from him, "Ever since I got shot in the head, I've been having trouble balancing, but that was twenty years ago, I should learn that I can't stand up for very long." Joanne looked at the man's exposed head. An entire line was up to his forehead, the line went fairly deep into his head, but it had healed since then and was a mere scar. The man must've been pretty lucky to have been shot in that angle and have his brain merely grazed by the bullet.

"Stop fooling around!" A turtle walked out from behind the wheelchair, "I don't like partnering up with you, so you can at least be serious about this, Hol Horse."

The old man wiped tears away from his eyes from how hard he was laughing, and grabbed his hat, "My apologies, Polnareff, I just couldn't help it!"

The turtle disregarded the old man and walked towards Joanne, "Sorry about him, he's spent over ten years in an insane asylum." Joanne just stood there staring.

"Is it just me, Jo, or did that turtle just talk?" Abstract said.

Joanne nodded quietly, not taking her eyes off of the turtle, "Why does it have a French accent…?" she asked quietly.

"I'm sure you're quite shocked with my appearance," The turtle said, "My name is Jean Pierre Polnareff, and I am an old friend of Jotaro Kujo. Please, reach over to the key." Joanne noticed the key embedded into the turtle's shell and reached for its big red jewel. Suddenly, she seemed to shrink and was transported into the key.

"What the hell?!" she yelled as she fell to the floor and quickly got up. She was in a small room. Looking up, she could see the red jewel of the key, now huge, and the outside. "What the hell did you do to me?!"

"Don't worry," a man suddenly appeared in front of Joanne, "This is my Stand ability, Mr. President." The man was tall with silver hair that stood up. He had heart-shaped earrings and looked to be in his early twenties.

"Are you the turtle- erm, I mean Polnareff?" Joanne asked.

"Yes," The man said, "Although this is how I looked twenty years ago. It's a long story, but my body was killed, and I swapped souls with this turtle. This turtle was also a Stand user, which is how I learned to use this room. The turtle's Stand, Mr. President, wasn't used to its full potential though, soon after I swapped souls, I learned how to truly use this Stand. I can manipulate this room however I want. Although, I do hold sentimental value to this room, and I do not wish to change it. I can create anything in this room which is why I appear to you in this form. Anything that goes into this room may be affected by what I create, but none of my creations are allowed to leave this room or interact with anything that isn't inside of it.

"So let me get this straight," Joanne said, "You swapped souls with a Stand user turtle, only to find out that its Stand had another ability?"

"Yeah, that's the short version." Polnareff said, "I'll tell you the entire story someday. But for now, I have one last thing to show you."

A robot-looking Stand with a fencing sword appeared behind Polnareff. "This was my original Stand, Silver Chariot." Polnareff said, "If you meet any trouble with any other enemy Stand users, make sure they go into this room. In the event that you trap them in here, I can take care of them. These were direct orders from Jotaro. I cannot be harmed inside this room, so it's the only way to guarantee victory without any casualties."

"I think I understand," Joanne said, not understanding a single word Polnareff had just said, "How do I get out of here?"

"Just jump up towards the jewel."

Joanne followed Polnareff's orders and jumped. She was suddenly transported back into the Higashikata house's living room.

The old man quickly pushed his wheelchair toward Joanne, "Don't let the French man bother you," he said, "If you need any help, then just call for me, Hol Horse."

"What can you do that he can't?" Joanne asked.

Hol Horse laughed again, "What can I do?" Joanne could see something spinning in Hol Horse's hand, "My Stand is named Emperor, and you know what its ability is?" The object stopped spinning and Joanne could clearly see what it was. "Gun!" Hol Horse yelled, "My ability is a gun!" Hol Horse cackled again as if he had said the funniest joke on the planet. Hol Horse wiped his tears away again, "I can't," he said as he wheezed from laughter, "Oh, that's so funny!"

Hol Horse had stopped laughing, but then thought of his little joke again and burst out laughing again, this time falling to the floor, clutching his sides and gasping for air through laughter, "Oh boy! I can't breathe! Kakyoin, help me get back up to my wheelchair!"

Joanne remembered the man with the light pink hair who had not said a word upon entering the room. The man went over to the crazed Hol Horse and helped him back on his wheelchair. As Hol Horse kept on cackling, he slapped his right knee repeatedly. "Can you believe this, Kakyoin?" Hol Horse said as he brought out his Stand again, "My Stand's ability is a gun!" Hol Horse laughed hard again before grabbing onto the bottom of Kakyoin's shirt.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Hol Horse said as he tried to breathe, "I just can't take it anymore, it's so funny!"

Kakyoin put a hand on Hol Horse's shoulder and spoke for the first time, "Please keep your composure, Mr. Hol Horse, we don't want another accident."

"You're right, you're right." Hol Horse said as he began to calm down, "I guess I got a bit carried away there. Is my coffee ready?"

"Yes, Mr. Hol Horse," Kakyoin said with a sigh, "I already told you it was ready, it must've gotten cold by now."

"I don't care, I don't care!" Hol Horse said as he let go of Kakyoin's shirt, "Just give it to me!" Kakyoin sighed as he walked out and soon came back with a cup of coffee that was noticeably not steaming.

"Thank you, thank you!" Hol Horse said as he eagerly grabbed the coffee and began drinking it in huge sips.

"So, what the hell is wrong with this old sack of shit?" Double Abstract said as she pointed at Hol Horse.

The old man suddenly spat out his coffee and got back on his feet, "Who are you calling an old sack of shit?!" he yelled.

"Do you need to check your ears, old man, of course, I'm talking to you!"

"Abstract!" Joanne yelled, "Apologize right now!"

"No," Double Abstract said as she crossed her arms.

"Why I otta!" Hol Horse yelled as Emperor appeared in his hand. Before things could escalate any more, Kakyoin, who had coffee all over his shirt from when Hol Horse had spat it out, lightly pushed Hol Horse back down on the wheelchair and led him outside before closing him out.

"I do apologize for Mr. Hol Horse's behavior." Kakyoin said as he began to remove his coffee-stained shirt, "I'm trying my best to keep him in check. But you know, he's been through a lot."

As Kakyoin had fully taken off his shirt, Joanne could see a rather big scar on his stomach. It almost looked as if something had punched a hole through him. "Please excuse me," Kakyoin said as he walked out the door to grab a new shirt.

Where does Jotaro find these guys? Joanne thought.

"We're a strange trio aren't we?" Polnareff said, "Still, we're the best available people here."

"Best available?" Joanne asked," You mean there are others?"

"There are," Polnareff said, "I have many great friends in Italy, but they have their own problems to deal with. For now, you're stuck with us."

"May I ask a question, though?" Joanne asked.

"I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have," Polnareff said.

"What's the deal with Hol Horse?"

...

Jotaro had just won against Dio in Cairo, Egypt, he returned home with his grandfather, Joseph Joestar. Jean Pierre Polnareff meanwhile, returned to his home in France. Speedwagon Foundation members were sent to clean up the mess from the 50-day expedition. This included gathering every surviving enemy Stand user that the Stardust Crusaders encountered, and putting them under a high-security Speedwagon Foundation prison. Of the 27 enemy Stand users that the Stardust Crusaders encountered, 12 were killed during the journey. These 12 being, Gray Fly, user of Tower of Gray, Captain Tenille, user of Dark Blue Moon, Forever, user of Strength, Devo the Cursed, user of Ebony Devil, J. Geil, user of Hanged Man, Nena, user of Empress, Enya, user of Justice, N'Doul, user of Geb, Pet Shop, user of Horus, Kenny G, user of Tenore Sax, Vanilla Ice, user of Cream, and Dio, user of The World.

There were a few enemy Stand users who died due to their injuries in battle. There were 5 of them, Steely Dan, user of Lovers, died in the hospital after Jotaro punched him repeatedly, Cameo, user of Judgement later died from an infection in the burns he received from Muhammad Avdol's Magician's Red, Alessi, user of Sethan, died from his wounds caused by Jotaro and Polnareff, and both D'Arby brothers, the users of Osiris and Atum, the elder, Daniel J. D'Arby, having died due to a heart attack soon after he lost his poker game to Jotaro, and the younger, Telence T. D'Arby died from his wounds caused by Jotaro's Star Platinum.

This left the surviving enemy Stand users in Speedwagon Foundation custody. Rubber Soul, user of Yellow Temperance, was locked away but had escaped five years later and hasn't been seen since, ZZ, user of Wheel of Fortune, has been transferred to a normal prison where his Stand is useless and is serving time for five more years. Arabia Fats, user of The Sun, is in a special containment cell that pumps out cool air every time he tries to heat things up with his Stand. The Mannish Boy, who had lived his entire life with the Speedwagon Foundation after being apprehended when he was just a baby, has forgotten the fact that he even has a Stand and has been released as a normal civilian. Midler, user of High Priestess, is in a cell that can not be broken with minerals, thus leaving her Stand useless. The Oingo Boingo brothers, users of Khnum and Tohth, have also been released and now use their powers for good. The remaining sword of Anubis has been slowly buried under the Nile River over the past 20 years due to waves, and has not been found. Mariah, user of Bastet, has been kept in a special cell that has no magnetic objects remotely near it.

Lastly, there was Hol Horse, user of Emperor. After being shot in the head by his own bullet and hospitalized, he began to go crazy. It didn't help when the Speedwagon Foundation put him in a bulletproof cell specialized for the insane. Hol Horse was in this cell for ten years. During these ten years, Hol Horse, although a bit crazed, had a lot of time to think. He soon realized that his true enemy was not the Crusaders, but it was Dio. If it wasn't for Dio, then none of this would have happened. It took many years of convincing, but Hol Horse was eventually let out. For the first few months, he was under constant supervision, for he was still not right in the head. Eventually, Hol Horse was a trusted member of the Speedwagon Foundation and helped catch several Stand users.

...

Three Days Ago

Stue Rod used all of his remaining strength to get back up. The fall from the building was not very pleasant. As he limped away and onto the road, he noticed a car passing by. "Sweet… Little… Rock…" he said quietly, as he dragged himself closer to the car. The rock Stand was able to grab onto the car and stop it.

"What the hell was that?" The driver said as he looked out his car window and saw the bleeding man on the floor.

"Help me… please…" Stue said.

The driver got out of his car and helped Stue onto the passenger's seat, "What happened to you?" the man asked, "Do you need to take you to the hospital?"

"Give me your phone!" Stue grunted, "And don't take me to a hospital, take me to the edge of the town!" The man hastily grabbed his phone and passed it to Stue before driving off.

Nearly ten minutes later, the man stopped his car, "Well, this is the edge of town. Are you sure that you don't want me to call an ambulance?" Stue opened the car door and practically fell down to the floor. "No, I'm fine," he said, "I thank you for your help."

Right before the man could turn around in his car, Stue whispered something, "Sweet Little Rock." as the car began to drive forwards, a rock wall rose over the front wheels and the car crashed into a nearby wall. The windshield cracked open, and the man was knocked out after the airbags slammed his head back onto the seat. Stue limped towards the car. "Sorry about that," he said, "but I can't leave any traces behind, I hope you bleed out quickly and painlessly while you're in your state of unconsciousness."

Stue continued the rest of the way on painfully on foot, and he eventually collapsed from pain and exhaustion. "Damn it," he muttered, "They better find me here."

Stue, still bleeding heavily, closed his eyes. Up above, an airship about 240 meters long landed. Out stepped a woman who looked to be in her thirties. "Is that you, Stue?"

Stue opened his eyes, "Greta?" he mumbled, barely awake, "Is that you?" The woman picked up Stue and brought him in the airship which instantly rose to the sky as if nobody was driving it. She laid him down on the floor as the airship flew farther and farther from Morioh. Inside there were four other people, three women, and a man, they all looked to be somewhere in between 20 and 35. "Where's Jon?" one of the women asked.

"He's dead for all I know," Stue said, "Just get me the hell out of here!"

"Hold on just a minute!" One of the women yelled as she stood up from his seat, "You two had a mission, did you not?"

"We got almost all of them," Stue replied, "All that's missing is the two Joestar girls."

"Two?" the man asked, "What do you mean by two?"

"Jon never gave you a call?" Stue asked, "I knew I should've done it myself. We found out that the mother of Jotaro Kujo had another child sixteen years ago. That means that our two remaining targets are Jolyne Cujoh and Joanne Jones."

Greta thought for a second, "Fletcher is within the area."

"Fletcher might be able to beat them," one of the women said, "But just in case, why don't you drop two of us off?"

"Alright then, June," Greta said, "I'll drop you and Ally in the nearby area in case Fetcher fails."

"What about us?" The man asked as he gestured towards himself and the other woman aboard, "Weren't we all supposed to go and get Jotaro?"

"Are you saying that you need help in taking down Jotaro, Scallion?" Greta asked.

The man whose name was apparently Scallion took a few steps back, "What, no?! My Stand can't be beaten, Stevana and I can take care of Jotaro no problem!" Scallion hugged the girl next to him and gave her a kiss, "Ain't that right, honey?"

Stevana smiled, "Yes, Scallion and I can beat Jotaro even without the help of June and Ally."

"So it's settled then," Greta said, "I'll drop off Ally and June in case Fletcher fails, then I'll take us to Florida so Scallion and Stevana can take out Jotaro. Then, Stue and I will make our way back to Dio."

"Sounds like a plan," June smiled.

...

Present Day

Joanne said her goodbyes as Jolyne went to board the plane back to Florida. She was accompanied by several Speedwagon Foundation members in case of an attack. As Joanne, Hol Horse, and Kakyoin, who was holding Polnareff, walked out of the airport, Kakyoin's phone rang. "Yes." he said, "We're on our way!"

"He's awake," Kakyoin said as he hung up his phone and looked at Hol Horse and Joanne.

"Who?" Joanne asked.

"Hop into the car, I'll tell you on the way."

The three drove until they reached the Morioh hospital. Several Speedwagon Foundation members allowed them clearance to visit a hospital room. In it, they saw an injured man in the hospital bed.

"Kakyoin sir, Hol Horse sir," a Speedwagon Foundation member said, "This man just woke up from his coma due to the injuries from his car crash three days ago, he might have some news that you'd be interested in."

"What's your name, sir?" Kakyoin said as he kneeled down beside the bed of the injured man.

"Somano Juruisuke. Who are you, what's going on?"

"Listen to me, Somano," Kakyoin said, "You're going to be alright, you were rescued by an ambulance and you are going to make a full recovery. I just need to ask you a few questions and we'll be on our way, can you manage that?" Somano nodded nervously.

"Alright then," Kakyoin said, "Did anything bizarre happen before you crashed?"

"Yes," Somano said, "There was an extremely injured man in need of medical attention that I picked up."

"Did this man do or say anything suspicious?"

"He only asked for my phone and told me to drive out to the edge of Morioh."

"Phone?" Kakyoin looked at the Speedwagon Foundation member who shook his head, "The phone's been destroyed, it's been stomped on by the looks of it."

Kakyoin sighed, "Ok, Somano, do you remember what the man you picked up said?"

"Um yes, I think so." Somano said, "He was talking to a girl, he told her to pick him up five miles out of Morioh."

"Is that all?" Kakyoin asked.

"Yes," Somano said, "That's all I remember."

"Ok, thank you for your time."

Hol Horse moved his wheelchair closer, "Hold on, I just want to run a test real quick." Emperor appeared in his hand and he aimed it at Somano, "I don't believe you, tell me everything, goddamn it!"

Somano just looked at the crazed old man in shock.

"Mr. Hol Horse," Kakyoin said, "He's not a Stand user, he can't see your Emperor."

"Oh damn, I forgot!" Hol horse pulled away from the room and started laughing, "Why does this happen all the time?" He pointed at Somano, "I'm sorry for spooking you, I just needed to make sure you weren't hiding anything." Hol Horse rolled his wheelchair out of the room, cackling like a mad man.

"Sorry about him," Kakyoin said as he gave Somano a pat on the shoulder, "I appreciate your cooperativeness and I hope you make a quick recovery."

With that, Kakyoin and the speechless Joanne left the room.

"So what now?" Joanne asked.

"Now, we go and investigate," Kakyoin said, "We now know where our enemy could potentially be. We should set off soon."

"I can't believe it," Polnareff said, shaking his head. Joanne had completely forgotten that Kakyoin was holding on to the turtle.

"If Dio has really returned," Polnareff continued, "Then we're in a lot of trouble."

...

A/N: This is basically the epilogue to the Rocketman and Sweet Little Rock arc. A few interesting things happened, Jolyne's going back to Jotaro in Florida, and Stue Rod survived. And Hol Horse and Polnareff are back! Glad to see some more returning faces. Speaking of which, why is Kakyoin here? Didn't Dio blast a hole through him? And even if Kakyoin survived, he'd be 37 years old, this doesn't fit the description of the 20-year-old Kakyoin in this chapter. What's going on? I don't know... Actually, I do, but you guys will have to wait to find out! The last few things I want to talk about are the new characters featured at the end. Especially Greta. In case you didn't know, Greta and her Stand, Van Fleet is a reference to my favorite modern rock band, Greta Van Fleet. Please check them out, I heavily recommend them. We also got introduced to four other characters. Don't forget their names, but the most important name to remember is "Fletcher" who's already nearby. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed, and see you all next Friday for Redbone Part 1.
