A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.

1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.

2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).

3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. (As I said before, I've worked ahead and have already written the first 24 chapters). If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.

4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 6: Redbone Part 1

"The trail of blood ends here," Kakyoin said as he examined the grassy open field, "This must be where he was picked up."

"Alright," Polnareff said, resting on Hol Horse's lap, "There's a neighboring town nearby. Hol Horse and I will go to it and see if anyone saw what transpired here."

"What about me and Kakyoin?" Joanne asked.

"Perhaps you two should come as well," Hol Horse said, "After all, this little dude won't be covering much ground by himself." Hol Horse cackled as he gave Polnareff a small pat on the head.

Polnareff gave a little growl, "Perhaps Hol Horse is right, one of you should come with us to investigate whether anyone saw anything, and the other should stay here and investigate the nearby area."

"I think it's better if I stay here," Joanne said, "I have Abstract to keep me company." Double Abstract appeared behind Joanne, "We'll solve this entire mystery before you fools even reach that town!" the Stand said.

Joanne facepalmed, "I'm sorry for Abstract's behavior."

"It's fine," Polnareff said, "optimism is a good thing to have right now."

"Alright then," Kakyoin said, "We'll give you a call if we find out any information, make sure to tell us immediately if you find anything."

Joanne nodded and Hol Horse and Kakyoin headed towards the village, Polnareff still on Hol Horse's lap. As they disappeared in the distance, Joanne and Abstract began mildly scanning the area. After about five minutes, Abstract stopped, "Ok, I'm bored." the Stand said.

"It's barely been five minutes," Joanne said, investigating the trail of dried blood, "You think you could liquify this? I'm sure a blood sample of Stue would come in handy." Abstract touched the blood, and it liquified and turned back to normal before getting sucked into a tube around her waist.

"Ok we got the blood now, can we leave?"

Joanne shook her head, "You have the attention span of a five-year-old, let's at least keep looking around for another half hour."

"Another half-hour!?" Abstract groaned, "God, this is so damn boring!"

"I have no idea how I manage to put up with you."

Abstract shrugged and began passing her hand through grass randomly, liquefying it to help pass the time.

"You're going to have to fix all that, you know?"

Abstract shrugged again, "Only if I feel like it."

Joanne decided to ignore her Stand and keep looking around. She soon spotted a person walking towards her.

"Excuse me!" The person called. She was female. She looked to be 16 like Joanne, maybe a year older. The girl began to lightly jog towards Joanne.

"Hey stop!" Joanne said, "Don't come any closer!"

The girl stopped jogging, "Is something wrong?"

She could be an enemy, Joanne thought, Abstract, stay on your toes!

Way ahead of you, Jo, Joanne heard Abstract's thoughts, If this girl tries anything, I'll punch her until she cries!

"Don't take a single step closer!" Joanne said, "Who are you, and what do you want?"

"My name is Kenna," the girl said, "I'm looking for someone."

"Whoever they are, they're not here. Leave, now!" Joanne said.

Kenna smiled, "Why are you being so fussy? I'm just asking for you to help me find someone!"

"You don't need my help, go look somewhere else!"

"Really?" Kenna said, "Are you sure? I'm positive you might've met him before."

"What's his name?" Joanne asked. She supposed that this "Kenna" girl would leave once Joanne disproved that the person she was looking for had not come into contact with her.

"I think you know him pretty well, actually," Kenna said with a smile.

"I asked you what his name is, answer the damn question!" Joanne was losing her patience. The sooner Kenna left, the sooner she could go back to investigating the area.

"His name is Stue," Kenna said, an evil look on her face, "Stue Rod, I'm sure you're already well acquainted with him."

"Abstract, get her!"

Double Abstract rushed towards Kenna to punch her, "Kono kono kono kono kono kono!" Double Abstract's punches were blocked by something. It had a humanoid shape, with multiple bones protruding from it, and indenting its form. The most noticeable part was the ribs, who stuck out from its chest like spikes. The shape had very warm colors, but its bones were dark red. The thing had a face, its gaze fixated on Joanne.

"She's got a Stand!" Joanne yelled, "Abstract, get away!"

"Not a chance!" Abstract yelled, "She doesn't look so tough! Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!" Abstract punched the Stand again. Kenna looked unfazed.

"Ushasha!" The Stand yelled as it punched Abstract in the stomach. Both Abstract and her user were sent flying back. "What the hell!" Joanne said as she hit the ground hard and spat out blood, "It only landed a single hit on us! How did it hurt so badly!"

Kenna slowly walked towards the two, her Stand flying idly behind her. "Allow me to give you my full name, I am Kenna Fletcher, and as you might've already guessed, I work for Dio. I recently got a call from Stue. He says that he and Jon got all the targets except for you and Jolyne, is that correct?" Joanne, not answering Kenna's question, reached for her phone.

"Ushasha!" The red Stand punched Joanne again and took her phone. Joanne felt this punch hurt way less than the one she had just received. The Stand's chest opened up and put the phone inside the compartment before closing it again.

"Don't think about calling for help," Kenna said, "My Stand, Redbone, won't allow you to do that. Now, I don't have to kill you. Dio prefers if I bring you in alive. But then again, he did say that I could kill you if necessary. If you want me to spare you, then I have a few questions to ask you."

"Go to hell, asshole!" Joanne said, "Abstract, got anything useful?"

Abstract checked all of her tubes before choosing one, "This oughta do it." she said before throwing the tube at Kenna. Redbone's chest opened up, and out came several small pieces of silicon, iron, plastic, aluminum, and another assortment of things. As the tube opened up, and the liquid began to form into something, Redbone lept in front of it, and it fell straight into its chest.

"What the hell did you do to my phone?" Joanne asked, looking at the bits and pieces of metal and plastic on the ground.

"What is it that you planned on throwing at me?" Kenna asked, "Hm, it feels like a wooden chair that you'd find at a restaurant. It's in pretty good condition too, this would normally be worth $66, but since it's already been used, that does diminish its price to about $40. I can still manage with that."

Redbone opened up its chest, and forty dollars came out. "Now, what can I buy using this?" Kenna thought to yourself, "How about a knife? That way I can cut you up a bit if you're not being cooperative, and in the worst-case scenario, I can use it to slice your throat open." Redbone closed its chest again.

Abstract! Joanne thought We have to figure out this Stand's ability! That's the key to defeating it!

Or we could just kick the shit out of the user. Abstract sprung towards Kenna again. "Damn it!" Kenna said as she attempted to jump away, but was kicked in the stomach by Abstract. "Not so tough now, are you?" Abstract said as she prepared to kick her again. Redbone's chest opened up, and out came a knife and $35. Redbone jumped instantly in between Abstract and Kenna and took in the kick. While Redbone was being kicked by Double Abstract, Kenna reached for the knife.

"Get away, Abstract!" Joanne yelled. But it was too late. Kenna used the knife to cut the back of Abstract's calf. The same wound appeared on Joanne. Abstract stopped kicking and grabbed her wound. This gave Redbone a chance to punch Abstract in the gut. Joanne crumbled to the floor and threw up. That punch felt like multiple punches all at once. "Abstract…" she wheezed, "Get your ass back here!" The Stand, who had also felt the pain from the blow, listened to her user and retreated next to her.

"What do we do now, Jo?" she asked.

"I'm starting to understand how Kenna's Stand works," Joanne said as she got back on her feet, "She converted the chair you threw at her into the amount of money it was worth. And used some of that money to get a knife of the same value. She seems to be able to convert things into different objects of equal value. Take my phone for example. Those pieces of metal and plastic on the floor are the exact same materials that were used to make the phone."

"You've caught on pretty quick." Kenna said as she walked closer to Joanne and Abstract, "Although, I do have a question for you. Your phone was at 86% when I converted it, yes? I turned all of its material into what you see on the ground now, so what do you think happened to the electricity that powered it at 86%? I can't simply make it vanish into thin air, so what did I do with all that electricity?"

Redbone held up its index finger, a spark flew from it. "You can't harm us!" Joanne said, "Even if you use your Stand to electrocute us, there are only up to 6 watts in a fully charged phone! That's not even lethal enough to burn through my skin. How are you possibly going to attack us with that?"

Kenna laughed, "What do you think will happen if this small amount of electricity gets sent directly into your heart?"

"It's not enough to kill me!" Joanne said, "Your attack won't work!"

"I'm not going to kill you with this electricity," Kenna said, holding up the knife, "That's what I have this for. I have the equivalent of 4 watts on the tip of my Stand's finger. Don't you know that hearts give out their own electrical signals? What do you think happens if these electrical pathways are disturbed? Your heart could beat too fast, or in this case, too slow. This can cause lightheadedness or dizziness."

"So you're going to use that to bring me in a weakened state?" Joanne asked.

"Exactly," Kenna said with a smile, "You could always return your Stand and surrender right now, the more you try to fight, the more you'll get hurt, and if you keep this up for too long, I might just have to end up killing you."

This is bad, Joanne thought, Do you have anything useful, Abstract?

I still have that forklift, should I use that?

No, if she manages to absorb that thing, she could create enough materials to end this battle, we need to think of something else.

"The clock is ticking," Kenna said. Redbone moved its finger a bit closer to Joanne, "What do you choose? Surrender, or electrocution?"

Damn it! Joanne thought, There's still something I don't understand about her ability! How come she's not damaged by your attacks? And of the three times, she's hit us, only the first and the last have really hurt. Why didn't the second hit hurt as much?

Why are you asking me? Abstract thought, You're the brains of this operation, Jo.

"Well?" Kenna said, "If you don't return your Stand right now, I'll assume that you want to do this the hard way!"

I want to test something, Joanne thought, Do as I say!

Abstract sprung towards Redbone and began punching it hard "Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

Kenna smiled, "It seems you need to be taught a lesson. Redbone punched Abstract in the face. Joanne fell to the floor. Her nose was bleeding heavily, and her lip was cut along with her inner cheek which was pressed down hard on her teeth. She spat out a bit of blood gathering in her mouth and stood back up.

That hurt like hell! Abstract complained, Was that your plan?

Part of it, I need you to punch her Stand again but punch it lightly.

Abstract punched Redbone fast, but softly, "Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

"You don't seem to get it, do you?" Kenna said, "You don't stand a chance! Perhaps I should just break your leg!" Redbone kicked Abstract's leg.

Pretend to be in pain, Abstract!

Both the Stand and the user cried out in pain as they gripped their leg. I think I understand now! Redbone can also convert energy! Every time she attacked us, it had the equivalent value of energy that your attacks did. She just simply converted the energy of your attacks into energy of hers! That's why the second time she hit us, it didn't hurt as much! It was because you hadn't attacked her beforehand! This time you punched her lightly while making it seem hard by doing it very fast. When she kicked us, I barely felt that much pain!

Redbone approached Joanne who was on the floor gripping her leg. "Don't say I didn't warn you," she said as her Stand lowered her finger towards Joanne's heart. Before the Stand could do anything, Abstract threw another tube. Redbone quickly opened up its chest and took in the tube before even knowing what it would turn into.

"What's this?" Kenna asked, "It appears you have thrown grass clipping at me." she began laughing, "How could that possibly help you now? Were you hoping that I'd be allergic?"

"Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

Redbone blocked all of the punches and absorbed the energy before punching Abstract back. This punch felt normal, it had not felt at all like the accumulation of all the energy Abstract had given her through her punches.

"This just confirms my hunch," Joanne said as she stood back up, "You can only convert one thing at a time. I told Abstract to throw the grass she had liquified earlier at you as a distraction! You could not absorb the punches because you were already turning the grass into something else!"

"You're pretty clever," Kenna said as Redbone opened up its chest and hay fell out, "I still absorbed your punches so I wouldn't get hurt, but I couldn't transfer them to myself, so I used it as a second component for the grass' transformation. I turned the energy into heat and used that to turn all of this grass into hay."

"So you can't transform two things at once, but you can use two things to combine and transform into one?" Joanne asked, a smile on her face, "I know how I'm going to beat you now!"

"Don't be a fool!" Kenna yelled, "Just because you know what my Stand's ability is, doesn't mean that you can defeat me! Look at yourself! You're bleeding all over your leg and your face! You have only landed a single successful hit on me while I have landed multiple!"

Joanne spat out more blood that had filled in her mouth, "I wouldn't take us so lightly, after all, we were the ones who kicked Stue's and Jon's asses!"

"Jon…" Kenna said, "When Stue called me, he said he was with Greta and the others, but he never said anything about Jon, what did you do to him?"

"Same thing we'll do to you!" Abstract said, "We beat the absolute shit out of him!"

"Where is he?" Kenna asked.

Joanne looked away for a second, "We were going to interrogate him, but he ended his own life before we could make him answer any questions."

"Ushasha!" Redbone punched Joanne, "Ushasha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha!'

Joanne fell to the floor, "Damn it… Abstract, come help me out!"

Abstract who had felt the same pain and had fallen to the floor as well got back up and reached for a tube, "I don't care how risky this is! I'm going to use it!"

"I'll kill you, bitch!" Kenna yelled in rage. Redbone grabbed the knife and got ready to strike Joanne. The tube flew in between Redbone and Joanne as it transformed back into a forklift. "Ushasha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha!"

The forklift was fully formed which blocked Joanne from the multitude of punches. Blood spurted from Kenna's fists as she looked at the dented and damaged forklift.

"Two successful hits," Joanne said, "Now we've landed two successful hits on you."

"That's it!" Kenna yelled angrily. Redbone's chest opened up and it was able to suck the entire forklift inside before closing. "Abstract, get her now!"

"Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

Redbone once again intercepted all of the punches. "Is that all you've got?" Kenna asked, "You're just giving me free materials and energy at this point!"

What could she possibly do with a forklift and all that energy? Joanne thought, Powering it up would be of no use to her, she's clearly planning something else.

Don't sweat it, Jo, Abstract thought, Clearly there is nothing she can do, if I keep punching away, she's eventually going to run out of space to put all that energy. A forklift can only be powered up so much, she won't be able to absorb the extra energy, that's how we'll beat her!

Abstract kept punching away, making sure to hit as fast and as hard as she could. Redbone simply stood there and took in all of the punches. Eventually, Abstract grew tired from the repeated punching.

I swear I've been punching this bitch forever!

I don't know what to do, Abstract. Joanne thought, She's clearly using this energy for something, but I don't understand what. She needs to use up all of the energy she has, she can't simply delete it all in thin air. She has to use it all, so what is she doing with it?

"Getting tired already?" Kenna said with a smile, "I was hoping to get more energy from you. But if that's all you've got, I'll make do with what I have."

Abstract she's about to do something, get back!

Abstract jumped back so she was beside her user. Redbone's chest opened up. A glowing liquid seeped out of it and upon touching the ground, all the grass around caught on fire. "I turned all of your energy into heat to melt this thing down!"

"Abstract, liquify all the grass around us now!" The Stand quickly ran her hand through the grass and liquified it before the fire could spread.

"What's the matter?" Kenna, who was standing safely on a patch of dirt, said, "Can't handle the heat?"

"She's limiting our movements!" Joanne said as the fire spread around them.

"I wish I was able to liquify this fire!" Abstract said, "But it's not tangible! It's merely a chemical reaction! I'll see if I can put it out before it spreads any quicker." Abstract reached for a tube on her belt with her left hand so as to not resolidify it and threw it. The tube opened up, and a liquid spilled on the fire in front of them, putting it out.

"There, the fire should stay off the wet grass in front of us."

"You think that can stop me?" Kenna said. Redbone shot out more molten metal, but this had a straight trajectory for Joanne. Abstract quickly ran her right hand through the wet grass, and the liquid reformed into its original form, another wooden chair. The chair acted as a shield as the molten metal hit it instead and set it ablaze.

"You're just digging your own grave at this point," Kenna said, "It's not too late to surrender, if you return your Stand, I will simply knock you unconscious, but I promise to spare your life."

"No," Joanne said with a smile, "Return your Stand, and I promise to spare your life. I will simply knock you unconscious."

"You're bluffing!" Kenna said, "There is no way you can beat me now! You're just trying to buy some time until your friends return, is that it?"

"Ushasha!" Redbone got ready to leap forwards and knock Joanne unconscious.

"Now, Abstract!"

Double Abstract grabbed a tube with her right hand, and it turned back into its original state. The fishing rod she had used in her battle against Koichi was held proudly in her hand. "What!" Kenna yelled in surprise, "Redbone, fall back!"

But it was too late. Abstract swung the hook which dug deep into Redbone's arm and pulled her into the burning chair. Kenna's arm started bleeding from the hook before flames erupted around her body. Redbone, now on fire, jumped away from the chair and towards Kenna. All of the contents within Redbone were quickly dumped out of its chest before Kenna jumped in.

"You almost had me there," Kenna said through Redbone, "I've got to admit, that was an impressive attack. But sadly it was for nothing." The flames slowly left Redbone as it stood there, its arms protecting the chest panel while Kenna hid inside.

I don't know what she's doing! Joanne thought, We almost had her! Konoyaro!

Redbone's chest suddenly opened back up, and out came Kenna, looking as good as new. "Thank god I have this Stand," Kenna said, "I used it to revert my body back to the way it was. Essentially, it took in all the energy from the fire around me to stop the burning, and just changed the shape and color of my burned skin so it's just as good as new. I was lucky that I was only lightly burned and lost some skin cells. Redbone can't create something out of nothing, so if I was burned badly enough, I wouldn't have been able to heal myself because parts of my body would have been burned off."

"Damn it!" Joanne said, "There goes all of our progress in this battle!"

Kenna giggled a little bit, "All of that work for nothing! I feel great, while you're looking a bit worse for wear."

Joanne looked at herself, she had been sliced in the back of her calf, she had been hit in the stomach hard twice, she had been punched in the face hard and was still bleeding from her nose, lip, and mouth, and she had been hit hard again while testing Redbone's energy transfer. Kenna was right, she wasn't looking too good. The fire surrounding her wasn't helping either.

Abstract! I'm out of ideas, do you have anything useful?

Nope! I've used up pretty much all I've got here.

Ok then, follow my lead. Joanne thought as she raised her hands, "Alright then, there's nothing else I can do. I surrender." Double Abstract disappeared as she returned to her user, "Just please put out these flames, I've inhaled too much smoke."

"I knew you'd come around to your senses," Kenna said. Redbone put a random rock in its chest before going around and sucking up all of the flames. It soon spat out the now molten rock on a patch of dirt. "No tricks," Kenna said, holding up the knife, "Or else."

"I wouldn't dream of tricking you," Joanne said, her arms still in the air.

"I'm going to go behind you and knock you out painlessly." Kenna said, "If I even see your finger twitch, then I'll cut you with this knife deep enough to hurt like hell, but not so deep as to make you bleed out to death." Joanne nodded as Kenna got behind her and got ready to chop at the back of her neck. Just before she could land her hit, Abstract suddenly appeared and grabbed the knife blade with her left hand. Kenna yanked the knife back in surprise, cutting Abstract's hand. But it was too late. The knife liquified in her hand and was instantly sucked into a tube around Abstract's waist. "What?!" Kenna yelled, "You said no tricks!"

"I certainly did," Joanne said, "But Abstract didn't promise anything!"

"Kono kono kono kono kono kono!" The punches hit Kenna and sent her to the ground.

Kenna began to laugh, "Not even that can save you!' Redbone appeared and plunged its finger through Joanne's chest. Joanne felt the finger reach her heart and send an electric shock. Redbone swiftly removed the finger and disappeared. Joanne could feel her heartbeat slow tremendously. She could see the world around her spinning and was struggling to stay on her feet. She felt dizziness and nausea as she fell to the floor. Abstract disappeared from Joanne's lack of focus. "Did you forget about the electricity at the tip of Redbone's finger?" Kenna said with a laugh as she stood up and peered down at Joanne, "That was a fun battle but sadly, it ends here!"

...

A/N: And that's chapter 6! I'm still keeping a couple of mysteries like where is Greta taking Stue Rod, and why is Kakyoin still alive from you for now. We do get to meet Kenna Fletcher though. She was foreshadowed at the end of the last chapter. Her Stand, Redbone, was a late change, originally it went by the name "Last Breath", and had a different ability. I ended up changing it for a more useful ability and changed the name to Redbone. If you guys don't know, Redbone is a band most notable for their song, "Come and Get Your Love". This is the song that Peter Quill listens to at the beginning of the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Anyways, thank you for reading, and stay tuned next Friday for Redbone Part 2.
