A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.

1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.

2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).

3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. (As I said before, I've worked ahead and have already written the first 24 chapters). If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.

4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 7: Redbone Part 2

Joanne tried to regain her footing but fell back on the ground. "And now this ends!" Kenna yelled. Redbone raised its arm to strike Joanne down. Joanne could feel her breathing slow down and become significantly more labored. Her slowed-down heartbeat was causing less blood to go into her brain. Her vision was darkening a bit. Still, she managed to keep her composure and move away from the Stand.

"Looks like you've still got some fight left in you," Kenna said, "But it's all for nothing!" Redbone reached over and grabbed Joanne by the collar. I'm slowly feeling better, Joanne thought, I just need to stall for time until I have enough energy to summon Abstract again.

"Wait!" Joanne yelled, "Don't knock me out!"

"Give me one good reason why."

"I have friends! They'll soon notice that I'm missing and they'll go after you! It's too risky to take me, is it not?"

Kenna laughed, "Your friends don't matter right now, I will get them after I bring you to Dio."

"What's the deal with this Dio anyways? I was told by Jotaro that he died twenty years ago! What does he want with me? I didn't do anything to him!"

Kenna hesitated for a second, "Do not question his motivations!" She finally said, "I myself do not know how he has survived, I haven't even seen him yet, but I trust that he has a good reason for this."

"You don't even know why you're going after me?" Joanne yelled, "And you've never even seen the guy? How can you put so much fate in a guy that you can't even prove exists?"

Kenna seemed reluctant to respond, "I know people who have met him, that is all the proof I need!"

"Is it though?"

Kenna growled in anger, "Enough! I don't need to listen to you!" Redbone raised its free hand to get ready to hit Joanne's head.

"Abstract!" The Stand suddenly appeared and punched Redbone in the face. Redbone, still holding onto Joanne, gripped its face with its free hand. Kenna felt blood trickle down her nose. "You little bitch!" she yelled.

Abstract grabbed hold of Joanne and yanked her free of Redbone's grip. This caused the left side of her collar to be ripped, revealing her left shoulder and lower neck. Her star-shaped birthmark was visible on the now exposed left side of the nape of her neck. Joanne could feel her heartbeat slowly revert back to normal. She had succeeded in stalling for time.

Redbone lunged at Abstract, who was able to dodge. "It seems in your rage, you have forgotten what has been keeping you safe this entire time!" Joanne yelled.

"What?!"

Abstract grabbed Kenna and threw her in the air. As the girl fell back down, Abstract punched her repeatedly, "Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

"Konoyaro!" Joanne yelled as the beaten-up Kenna unsummoned her Stand and fell to the floor, coughing up blood.

"D-damn it!" Kenna said, pounding her bloody fist on the ground, "Just kill me!"

Joanne kneeled down next to the bloody girl and put a hand on her shoulder, "I'm not going to kill you." She said, "I just need you to tell me everything you know about Dio."

Kenna's breathing suddenly panicked, "No!" she yelled, "Kill me please! If he finds out that I was beaten…" she trailed off as tears rolled down her cheeks, "It will be a fate worse than death!" she said finally.

"You've never even met him, what's there to be afraid of?" Joanne asked.

"No…" Kenna said through labored breathing, "If Dio finds out that I told you anything…" she cried out as her tears kept coming, "Please kill me! Please, please, please! I can't let him find out…"

Joanne suddenly realized something, Jon hadn't killed himself because he was too honorable to rat out on Dio, he had done it to escape whatever punishment might've come his way. Both he and Kenna believed that death was a better option than whatever Dio would do to them.

"Hey, it's ok," Joanne said, "I won't hurt you anymore, I won't hand you over to Dio. Just tell me all that you know, and I'll let you go."

"No!" Kenna yelled, "They'll find me!" she suddenly got up from the floor and jumped towards the flames. Double Abstract quickly caught her and held onto her to prevent her from killing herself. "Let me go!" she yelled in desperation, "Let me burn, please! Let me die before it happens!"

"Before what happens?" Joanne asked.

"There's a flesh bud in my forehead!" Kenna yelled, "I'm not under Dio's mind control, I'm acting on my own accord, but it can hear! If I let out any information regarding Dio, It will mutate my body and turn me into a creature that no longer resembles a human. It will destroy my brain, but make it so that I can still live. I'll spend the rest of eternity living as a mindless mutant freak!"

"We can help," Joanne said, "Trust me. I know a guy who could help you."

Kenna broke free from Abstract's grasp and fell to the floor, "You don't understand! It's connected to my brain! I'll die if it's not removed carefully! I'm even too scared to use Redbone to remove it! Please just kill me now! I'm worthless anyways! It'd be better if I died here!"

Joanne reached down and gave Kenna a firm hug. "I won't let Dio harm you." She said gently, "I promise you that you'll be safe. You just have to trust me, ok?"

Kenna stood motionless for a second, her face was bright red. She eventually wrapped her arms around Joanne and squeezed her tight, "I don't want to die!" She said through tears, "But it's my only option!"

Joanne gently rubbed one of her hands on Kenna's back, "No it's not." she said calmly, "Don't you feel safe in my arms? Like I said before, I promise that you won't be harmed anymore."

Kenna gripped Joanne hard as she burst into tears, "I'm scared!" she said, "You're my enemy, why are you being so nice to me?"

"I understand the circumstances you're in. I hold no grudge against you. I want you to feel safe in my presence."

Kenna sobbed some more as she squeezed Joanne tightly.

...

Kenna Fletcher was born in 1992. However, her mother and twin sister soon died from a failed C-Section. Kenna's father fell into a great depression and had a hard time caring for himself, let alone Kenna. This caused the girl to be malnourished and bullied in school. Her father's depression was relentless, and it got worse with time. He soon became an alcoholic and lashed out at Kenna multiple times. When Kenna was 10, she received a knock on her door. A police officer reported that her father, who had left to go buy alcohol, got in a fatal drunk car crash and died. Kenna was put into foster care. Her new foster parents were worried about her mental health because she was very quiet and barely spoke a word. She was scared to go out and meet new friends and was even enlisted in a special program in school where she was in a classroom by herself. She was too scared to stay in a classroom full of other kids.

Her foster parents soon became more worried after realizing that she'd start crying at random times for no reason at all. These episodes were caused by all of the constant bullyings from the kids at her old school and the memory of her abusive father. These traumatic events left an impression on her mind. At one point, her foster parents caught her attempting to end her own life so they sent her to a suicide prevention and rehabilitation institution. At the age of 13, she was let out only to be confronted with somber news. Her foster father had died of cancer and her foster mother could no longer care for her.

While in foster care, waiting for her new family, a 14-year-old Kenna encountered a lady that looked to be in her early twenties. "Fate has not been kind to you, has it, Kenna?" the lady asked.

"Who are you?" Kenna asked, "How do you know my name?"

"It is my job to keep tabs on those left in the dirt by the cruel hands of fate." The woman said, "My name is Greta, and I need you to come with me."

Kenna was hesitant to listen to this "Greta" lady until she said something truly intriguing, "I can give you a power that could allow you to change things for the better. Your life has been nothing but misery has it not? With this power that I'm offering to you, you could have the potential to change the fates of those you love."

That was all Kenna needed to hear. She escaped from her foster care and went with Greta. Kenna was led into a peculiar-looking airship. On both its sides were the words "Greta Van Fleet" in big bold letters. "Stay here, Kenna Fletcher," Greta said as she led Kenna to a seat in the airship. She came back with a peculiar-looking arrow. Greta gently grabbed Kenna's hand and cut her fingertip on the arrow.

"Ow!" Kenna said as she instinctively jerked her hand back and sucked on the blood coming out.

"Sorry about that," Greta said, "but I needed to do that. You want your power, do you not?"

Kenna nodded as she took her finger out of her mouth. The cut had been very shallow and the bleeding had already stopped. Kenna thought she heard something from behind her and saw a big red figure standing behind her, its bones sticking out and indenting its skin. Kenna screamed as she jumped off her seat, "What the hell is that thing?" she yelled.

"Don't worry," Greta said as she approached the red figure, "This thing is called a 'Stand', and it's yours to command. It has a special ability that only you can access."

"Stand?" Kenna asked, still frightened, "What does all of this mean?"

"You'll see in time, Kenna Fletcher."

Kenna was brought to a mansion where she met a wide assortment of people, all of them said that they had a Stand, but only a few actually trusted her enough to show them to her. For three years Kenna lived in this mansion and trained with her Stand. She soon found out that her ability was to change things into something else of equal value or something else that was made from the same material. For her entire life up until now, she could change nothing. So many tragic things had happened to her, but now she had the power to change anything she touched. With her newfound courage and ability, she vowed to serve Dio, a man she had never met, but only heard about. He apparently resided somewhere within the huge mansion, but very few people had actually seen him. She was told of the Joestar bloodline and how it needed to be eradicated and volunteered to go after it if Stue Rod and Jon L. were to fail.

But now that she had fought and lost to a member of the Joestar bloodline, Joanne, she couldn't help but feel comfortable, being held in her arms. She felt some familiarity as if she had met Joanne before.

Joanne and Kenna's embrace ended, the two girls looked at each other, both of their faces bright red. "Thanks," Kenna said, averting her gaze.

"Sorry for beating you up so badly," Joanne said, "If you want, you can use Redbone to heal your injuries, I'm sure you must be in a lot of pain right now."

"Thanks," Kenna said again as Redbone appeared. It would be so easy to use her Stand to chop off Joanne's head right now, but that thought didn't even cross Kenna's mind as Redbone's chest opened up. "Wait," Kenna said, "You should get in first, you're bleeding a lot." Kenna pointed to Joanne's leg which had been bleeding ever since it was cut with the knife, "If that's not treated, you'll bleed out to death."

Kenna reached into her pocket and pulled out an iron nail, "Here, take this in with you to replace all the blood you've lost." Joanne blushed as she took the nail from Kenna's hand. "Thank you," she said as she crawled into Redbone's chest as it closed. Joanne was not worried that she'd be betrayed, Kenna was being too sincere to betray her now. The inside was very dark, and although the compartment inside Redbone's chest had seemed rather small, for some odd reason, Joanne didn't even feel cramped inside. This must be part of her Stand ability, she thought. It appears that she can fit bigger objects inside. That must explain how she was able to melt down that forklift. Joanne felt her wounds slowly close, and the metal nail in her hand slowly disappeared.

Soon, Redbone's chest opened back up, and Joanne crawled back out looking as good as new. All her wounds were healed, and even the collar of her shirt which had been torn had returned back to normal.

"I'm surprised you trusted me enough to do that," Kenna said.

"You're not going to harm me," Joanne said, "I can see it in your eyes.

Kenna blushed, "My eyes?" she averted her gaze as she stepped into Redbone's open chest. She stayed there for about fifteen seconds before coming out, fully healed. Kenna held her hand on her forehead, feeling for the flesh bud under her hair.

"I'm scared, Joanne." She said, "I've seen what happens if this flesh bud is activated. I don't want that to happen to me. I don't want to die either, but it is a better alternative. I'm so scared I don't know what to do!"

Kenna's face was full of tears again, and Joanne embraced the girl again. "Don't worry," She said, trying to soothe the girl, "We can fix this, I promise."

"Are you positive that you know someone who can take off this flesh bud without messing with my brain?"

Joanne ran her hand through Kenna's hair, "I am. Do you trust me?"

Kenna slowly nodded. Joanne let go of the girl and looked deep into her eyes, "Those are not the eyes of a killer." She said, "What are you doing working for Dio?"

"It wasn't really my choice," Kenna said, "After I got my Stand, I was taken to…" Kenna trailed off, "I can't say anything else without triggering the flesh bud."

"It's ok," Joanne said, "I understand. I'll go call my friends right now, but I need my phone to do that, can you fix it?"

Kenna nodded as she walked towards the pieces of metal, silicon, and plastic. She picked them up and put them inside of Redbone. "I used up all of the energy in your phone. I'm going to need your Stand to punch mine so I can convert that into energy to charge your phone."

"Alright," Joanne said as Abstract appeared.

"Kono kono kono kono kono!" Abstract punched Redbone, who absorbed the energy from the punches.

"Thanks, Abstract," Joanne said as the Stand was finished punching.

"If you need me to punch anything else, don't hesitate, Jo."

Joanne nodded and the Stand unsummoned. Redbone's chest opened up, and Kenna gave Joanne her now fully charged phone. Joanne quickly dialed the phone and waited for the call to be picked up.

"Hey, Polnareff," Joanne said, "I came across a Stand user that was working for Dio, but she's with us now. You said that you went to Egypt with Jotaro to stop Dio, right? Do you think you'd be able to remove a flesh bud without harming the person?"

After a brief pause, Joanne said, "Ok yes, I'll wait here." and hung up.

"Don't worry, Kenna," she said, "The person I spoke to once said that he had a flesh bud inside him as well, his Stand will make it easier to remove it."

"Thank you so much!" Kenna said, embracing Joanne again. This was the third time the two had hugged in the past ten minutes, but Joanne didn't feel awkward. She actually kind of enjoyed it.

Within ten minutes, Hol Horse and Kakyoin, who was carrying Polnareff, arrived. In that time, Joanne and Kenna managed to get rid of the flames that were scorching the grassy field they were in. "What the hell happened here?" Hol Horse said as he looked at all of the burned grass.

"Let's worry about that later," Polnareff said, "Get her inside my key."

"D-did that turtle just talk?" Kenna asked in surprise, pointing at the turtle in Kakyoin's arms.

"Do not worry about Mr. Polnareff," Kakyoin said, "We need to remove this flesh bud as fast as possible if we want information about Dio."

Joanne and Kenna entered Polnareff's key and were transported into the small room inside. "What is this?" Kenna asked, "Is this Polnareff's Stand ability?"

"Yes and no," Polnareff said as he appeared, looking like his twenties self, "I'll explain everything some other time, but for now, I'm going to need you to lay down on this couch and stay absolutely still."

Kenna lay face up on the red couch on the wall of the room. "I'm going to need you to close your eyes for this," Polnareff said as Silver Chariot appeared behind him. Kenna obliged and kept her eyes shut. Joanne watched as Polnareff parted the hair on Kenna's forehead to reveal the flesh bud. Silver Chariot pointed its sword at it and swiftly plunged it into her forehead. Joanne nearly yelled out after seeing the sword go into her forehead, but the sword slowly came out, taking the flesh bud with it. It squirmed as its tentacles were all slowly removed. Polnareff then threw the flesh bud to the floor and crushed it under his foot.

"Ok, you can open your eyes now."

Kenna opened her eyes and saw the squashed flesh bud. She quickly ran her fingers along her forehead and felt that it was gone.

"I can't believe it!" She yelled in excitement, "I had that thing in my head for three years! Do you know what it feels like knowing that if you accidentally spread any information regarding Dio, this thing could mutate me? I had trouble sleeping at night! But it's finally gone! Thank you so much, Mr. Polnareff!" Kenna went to hug Polnareff, but her arms went straight through him and she fell to the floor. "What the hell?" she said, "You're not even real!"

"This is an illusion caused by Mr. President," Polnareff said, "This is how my body used to look. But never mind that." Polnareff looked up through the big gem in the ceiling, "Why don't you two come in here as well?"

Suddenly, Kakyoin and Hol Horse appeared inside the room too. Hol Horse wasn't in his wheelchair, so he quickly sat down on one of the red Coushiny chairs. "Alright then," he said, pointing at Kenna, "Let's see what you've got to say about that piece of shit Dio."

"Well," Kenna said, disregarding Hol Horse's last comment, "He's here in Japan. He along with some of the Stand users that work for him reside in a ginormous mansion north of here. It's roughly a three-day trip by car, but much faster in an airship.."

"Airship?" Kakyoin asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"There's a Stand named Van Fleet that is bound to an airship." Kenna said, "Its user is the closest thing I've had to a mother these past three years. Her name is Greta. I'd like to avoid doing any harm to her if possible when tracking down Dio. Defeating Dio is our only goal, right?"

Polnareff, Hol Horse, and Kakyoin nodded.

"So let's do it without harming Greta. She was one of the few people that was actually nice to me."

"We'll see what we can do," Kakyoin said, "But if this Greta gets in our way, we might have to battle her as well."

"I understand," Kenna said solemnly, "But promise me that we'll only attack her as a last resort."

"I promise," Kakyoin said, "Now, I'll need you to give me the exact coordinates so we can go get Dio first thing tomorrow morning."

"So, does this mean that you're joining us?" Joanne asked.

Kenna got up from the couch and looked at the four in the eyes, "Yes, I will be joining you on your journey to take down that son of a bitch, Dio."

...

"We've made it." Greta said, "How are you holding up, Stue?"

"Been better," Stue said, "But then again, I've been worse."

"You're lucky that I was able to patch you up a little bit after I dropped Scallion and Stevana at an airport to head to Florida. I didn't have much time after picking up that kid."

"Yeah, yeah," Stue said, "I just can't wait to be back. Dealing with the Joestars has been such a pain in the ass."

The airship landed on a mansion on the side of a mountain, "Don't get too comfortable just yet," Greta said, "Dio called me. He wishes to talk to you personally."

Stue's heart dropped. He began sweating intensely, "D-did you say th-that Dio wanted to see me?"

"I did," Greta said.

"The only time Dio wishes to see someone is when he's greatly displeased," Stue said. His voice was shaking and his body was trembling.

"Perhaps," Greta said, "You know how displeased he gets when people fail."

"B-but I didn't fail!" Stue said, his voice still shaky, "I was able to get Koichi Hirose, Yukako Yamagishi, Rohan Kichibe, Okuyasu Nijimura, and Josuke Higashikata!"

"Yes, but your mission was to bring them back. You didn't really do that, did you? You might as well have come back empty-handed."

Greta helped the trembling, injured, Stue out of the airship and into the mansion. Multiple other people in the mansion greeted Stue with looks of pity. Clearly, they knew that Dio was displeased with him. Stue trembled as he slowly walked up the stairs to the top floor, and inched his way to a big doorway. Stue slowly opened the heavy doors and stepped into the dark room.

"So you actually came." a cold, chilling voice called out. Stue immediately took a knee, "Lord Dio!" he said, his voice filled with fear, "Y-you requested my presence?"

"I did. Why do you think I called you here?"

"Because I failed my mission, Lord Dio."

"That's only half of it."

"Lord Dio?"

"Not only did you fail the mission, but everyone you turned to stone is now in Speedwagon Foundation care. Our chances of ever getting the bodies you turned to stone are next to zero, do you understand?"

"Yes, Lord Dio."

"Not only that, but you could've possibly led the enemy right to me."

"What do you mean, Lord Dio, I killed all witnesses!"

"No, you failed to check the body of the man who let you in his car. He is still alive."

"Lord Dio! I beg for your forgiveness!"

"I am not usually forgiving, but I will make an exception just for you. I will give you two options, and only two options."

"Thank you, Lord Dio!" Stue said hopefully.

"Your first option is death."

All hope was eradicated from Stue's body.

"And your second is to be mutated by the flesh bud and be used by me to test out new Stands."

Stue fell to his knees, leaned over, and put his hands in front of him. His breathing was ragged, and sweat dripped off his face and fell to the floor. Stue already knew what option was better, but he didn't know if he had the strength to say it. But he knew that keeping Dio waiting was a dangerous thing to do.

"Well?" Dio asked, "What do you choose?"

"I-I…" Stue could barely talk through the fear in his body, "I choose… d-death!" He choked out these words. He wanted so badly to plead to Dio, but he knew that that would only anger him.

"You barely even hesitated." Dio said, "I respect that. I will remember you, Stue Rod."

Stue's eyes grew with fear as the vampire suddenly appeared in front of him. His golden hair was easily seen through the darkness. He had a scar going all the way around his neck. He had three moles on his left ear. And most noticeably of all, he had a star-shaped birthmark on the left side of the nape of his neck.

"Lord Dio-ughh!" Stue's words were cut off when he felt Dio's arm go straight through his chest. Stue coughed up blood as he took one last look at Dio before falling on his back and dying. "Such a waste of potential." Dio muttered, "Your Stand was truly one of a kind. Don't worry, I'll use its ability to leave Josuke and the others into stone statues so they don't go after me as well." Dio walked away from the bloodied body as the doors closed.

...

A/N: And that's chapter 7! Our JoBro, Kenna Fletcher has joined the team. And like true JoBro fashion, she has a fight with the JoJo and they immediately become friends! Anyways, at some point towards the end, Greta mentioned that she "picked up a kid". Don't worry about that too much, but keep it in the back of your head until a later chapter. It'll probably come up again around chapter 18, I just thought that I might tease it a tad bit now. I really like Kenna's Stand, Redbone, and I have already planned for a lot of creative ways it can be used. Also, I know that Kakyoin has barely been featured and we haven't even seen his Stand yet, but I promise that by the next chapter his return will be explained. Anyways, see you all next Friday for Elastic Band and Vertigo Part 1.
