Okay, managed to finish this chapter sooner than expected, thus I'll be uploading this chapter ahead of the deadline I made, so here it is…

Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here a new story arc commences, in which for the first time, an extra-terrestrial will be featured, and this would test out Naegi, as he has been using the RED SUIT to face off ordinary criminals, and how he would deal with a threat that is not of Earth…

Well then, read on and enjoy!

Outer space.

Within Earth's solar system, the UFO is seen hovering about, as for the past several months the three aliens have been monitoring the events within Japan, and so far Seraphi and Ophani are pleased that Naegi has done a good job in using the RED SUIT to combat evil in his planet and that he has not uttered another complaint since then, though Cherubi remained mum on this as he is sure that Naegi is bound to make another slip sooner or later.

Ophani noticed her comrade and asked if he still doubt Naegi, which the alien said that he still does as he felt that Naegi is never serious about the role given to him, but she said that Naegi has embraced his role ever since his life is saved a month ago, and urges him to give Naegi a benefit of a doubt and a chance to prove himself.

"You are really too soft, Ophani…"

"Cherubi…"

"I doubt that the Earth boy has learned his lesson…"

"He has."

"I seriously doubt it."

"Come now…Makoto Naegi has already proven himself…"

"I am sure he would flop out this time around…"

"No, he…"

Seraphi then noticed a space shuttle approaching Earth's atmosphere and the UFO's instruments detected something and he informed his two comrades about what he suspected something and tells them to be ready for anything, saying that something odd is going on and that something is amiss within the space shuttle.

Ophani and Cherubi stared at the monitor, and there Cherubi asked if they are going to have Naegi involved in this, which Seraphi said this may be the worst case scenario and that it cannot be helped as they cannot afford to be seen by the Earthlings as the aliens have to maintain their secrecy from Earth at any costs.

"We will wait and see before we make our move."

"Wait…are you saying we should rely on that Earth boy?"

"That may be the case, Cherubi."

"Seraphi…you…"

"Trust me on this. We cannot allow others to notice us."

"…"

"I am sure that there is a reason for this."

"Seraphi…"

Ophani agreed, and the three aliens continued to watch as the space shuttle appeared to be heading straight to Earth, and that the shuttle seemed to be going straight, as if it were on auto-pilot, and there has n=been no signs of anything suspicious going on, though the three aliens can sense that something is not right within the shuttle.

Believe It Or Not by Joey Scarbury
(Opening Song from The Greatest American Hero)

Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself;
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
Should've been somebody else.

Believe it or not,
I'm walkin' on air,
I never thought I could feel so free;
Flyin' away on a wing and a pray'r,
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, it's just me.

Just like the light of new day,
It hit me from out of the blue;
Breakin' me out of the spell I was in,
Makin' all of my wishes come true.

Believe it or not,
I'm walkin' on air,
I never thought I could feel so free;
Flyin' away on a wing and a pray'r,
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, it's just me.

Ch. 113: Shatoru kiki no pureryūdo

Hope's Peak Academy.

The scene shows that classes are ongoing as usual, and things seemed like everything is business as usual, and it appeared that there is no scandal hounding the school after the recent incident where a mob boss took a section hostage just to lure Makoto Naegi out, and it was agreed by the board of directors that the mob boss' actions were that of a deluded person who is acting based on irrationally and by his own actions.

Thankfully Naegi is relieved that he wasn't questioned further after he and Kirigiri managed to convince the school officials that the mob boss targeted the SHSL Luckster due to the mob boss' belief that Naegi resembled a manga character and claiming that the boy POSSESES SUPER POWERS.

The scene shifts at a hallway, where Naegi is walking by, as it was break time and he is on his way to the cafeteria when he accidentally overheard some of the Main Course students, all girls, talking about a rumor about a ghost being in the girls' toilet, and said that the ghost, who is said to be a girl, can grant a person's wish in exchange for something.

Naegi blinked his eyes as he secretly listens to the conversation with the three girls.

"Have you heard…?"

"Yeah…that stupid girl…"

"I can't believe that she would really want to confirm such a baseless rumor…"

"The ghost of Hanako…?"

"Get real…"

"That's just an urban legend."

"I wonder why that girl is so stupid? I even wonder why she end up in the main course…"

"Beats me…"

According to the three girls, the ghost's name is said to be Hanako, and the ghost can be found at the girls' toilet on a certain time and as long as the person seeking out the ghost is alone, so that the girl's wish can be heard in private.

The girls giggled as they said that some of the girls in the main course are still buying into that rumor as there is NO SUCH THING as GHOSTS, and the girls wondered who started that rumor that quickly spreads throughout the building.

"So…who do you think started that rumor…?"

"Beats me."

"I swear that wasn't me…"

"Really?"

"You sure?"

"Yeah! I didn't do that!"

"Come on…"

"You really get uptight…"

The girls then noticed Naegi standing there and they sweat-dropped, fearing that he might squeal them for spreading the gossip and they asked him not to tell anyone what he just heard, and Naegi asked if they are serious about this so-called ghost inside the toilet, which the girls said that it was just a rumor they overheard from someone, and said that they haven't seen one, and thus the discussion they are having are based on guesses and speculation.

The girls told Naegi to ignore what he just heard since there is no proof and that it is just a silly plain rumor with no basis, which Naegi sweat-dropped as he just nodded in response, which the girls thanked him for keeping his word.

"Say…don't tell anyone."

"You never heard it."

"Right?"

"Uh…"

"Then it's settled."

"You don't know anything."

"See you."

"Huh? What…?"

As the girls leave, Naegi wondered why the girls are being so secretive if what they said is just a rumor, and why are they feeling threatened when their discussion is being overheard. If they believe it is just a rumor, why would they want to cover it up.

Sighing, Naegi proceeded to leave, and minutes later he is approaching the hallway where two toilets are stationed: one for the male and one for the female. He blinked his eyes as he saw a main course student, a girl, appearing to be nervous and hesitant, and cautiously entered the girls' toilet, and while Naegi wants to ignore this and head back to the classroom, he recalled the three girls' discussion, and curiosity got the better of him.

He secretly entered the girls' toilet and saw the student, identified as Nene Yashiro, standing in front of a toilet room, where she appeared hesitant over something until she worked up the courage and spoke to someone there as the toilet room door is closed.

"Hanako-san…Hanako-san…are you there…?"

Naegi approached Nene and asked her if she is referring to the rumored ghost of the girls' toilet, which she stared in shock at being seen by someone, fearful that Naegi would spread gossip about her attempting to call out the so-called ghost.

Naegi waved his hands sideways and calmed her down, saying that he too wants to know if this ghost-thing is real or not, as he revealed that he accidentally heard the rumor and promised not to tell anyone about this, which Nene sighed in relief.

"R-really? You won't tell…?"

"Y-yeah…I won't tell."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks."

"So…are you…?"

"Yeah…I want to see Hanako-san…"

"…"

Feeling relieved, Nene faced the toilet room again and attempted to call out the so-called Hanako the rumored ghost.

"Hanako-san…Hanako-san…are you there…?"

Slowly an eerie voice spoke just as the toilet door slowly opened, which Naegi stared wide-eyed as he felt that the voice is somewhat different as he expected that it would be a girl's.

"Yeeesss…I'm hhheeerrreee…"

As the toilet door opened, it showed that no one is around, and Naegi told Nene that it appeared that someone is pulling a prank, and showed that the toilet room is empty, thus the rumor is just a rumor, which Hanako looked a bit disappointed, but then the same voice from moments ago spoke, which came right behind Naegi.

Both Naegi and Nene stared behind them as they saw what appeared to be a boy, who seemed to be a bit younger than Naegi, smiled and beside him are two SPIRIT ORBS, and Naegi became a bit nervous, but said that there is no ghost, but the strange boy, who introduces himself as Hanako-kun, said that he is the ghost that the rumors stated and that he is here to grant a person's wish in exchange for something as payment.

Naegi refused to believe it as he said that Hanako the ghost is a girl and that he can't be the ghost, but Hanako smiled eerily and said that he is the ghost of the toilet.

"It's true. I am a ghost."

"If you are…"

"I am."

"But…I heard that Hanako is a girl…"

"You're mistaken."

"Eh?"

"What were you expecting? A transgender? A transvestite?"

"…"

To show proof, Hanako PULLED his head, SEVERING it from his body, and Hanako said that this is proof that he is a ghost, for he already dead from the very start. Seeing this caused Naegi and Nene to shriek in fright, and both bolted out from the bathroom and are RUNNING FOR THIR LIVES while screaming.

"EEEEEKKKK!"

"WWWWAAAHHH!"

"A GHOST!"

"WWWWHHHOOOAA!"

"I'M OUT OF HERE!"

"WAIT! DON'T LEAVE ME!"

"I DON'T LIKE GHOSTS!"

"WAIT FOR ME!"

Since the hallway is empty at that time, no one heard Naegi and Nene screaming…except for Maizono, who happened to pass by and accidentally saw Naegi entering the girls' toilet, and she wondered what Naegi is doing there, suspecting him of doing something indecent, but after eavesdropping on the conversation, yet failed to hear Hanako's voice, Maizono felt that Naegi is doing something foolish like wanting to confirm that rumors about the toilet ghost.

Sighing, Maizono entered the toilet and went to the toilet room to urinate, and seeing that it is empty, she decided to use it, and while peeing, Maizono wondered aloud about the so-called Hanako the ghost and if this ghost-thing is real, until giggling to herself that she is actually believing the rumors.

"Hanako the ghost…it's just a rumor…besides…there's no such thing as ghosts…"

However, as she looked upward, she saw Hanako-kun FLOATING IN THE AIR and smiled eerily, asking for her name and for her wish, claiming that he can grant it as long as she has something to give in exchange. Maizono stared wide-eyed in reply.

"Hello."

"…"

"You wish to see me?"

"…"

"I can grant a wish…as long as you offer something in return as payment…"

"…"

"So…tell me your name and…"

"…"

Seeing that Hanako is floating in the air, she started to tremble yet she put up her appearances and called him a pervert doing a TRICK so that he can peek at her, but Hanako-kun smiled and pulled his head from his body, separating it, and Maizono became terrified and shriek out loud, running from the bathroom, screaming in fright.

In her frenzy, she accidentally left her panties behind yet she was so terrified to notice it as she ran straight to her classroom to seek solace and help, and because the hallway is empty at this time, no one heard the screams and it was business as usual.

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at NASA, where American officials are staring at the monitor and they appeared to be contacting someone, which they got no response, and it turns out that the American officials are trying to contact the space shuttle that is hovering above Earth, which is been going on for months.

The American officials are worried as they haven't heard from the astronauts and wondered if something happened to them, and as the NASA officials are trying to determine their course of action, the monitors showed that the shuttle started to move and made a discovery on what is about to happen next.

"Sir!"

"What?"

"The shuttle's moving! It's heading back to Earth!"

"What?"

"The shuttle…"

"Contact the shuttle! They're not supposed to head back without making clearances!"

"I tried, but there's no answer!"

"What did you say?"

To Be Continued...

Hope you liked this chapter, as the new story arc is under way, where the three aliens reappeared again since the last few arcs ago, and it looks like they are going to play a role here…

While there's no action yet, it's just the start as I'm building up the suspense and a little slice of life at school wouldn't hurt, since most of the setting is at Hope's Peak Academy…

Okay, since this is a story arc about the space shuttle and all, why did I brought a pair of characters from another anime series? Well, since the new anime, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun premiered last January 10, I sort of watched it on my cable channel in the Philippines, and after seeing the first episode, sort of decided to use them to make a cameo appearance.

This is due to the fact that the series is animated by Lerche, the studio that brought the Danganronpa anime years ago. And I decided to use the main characters as an Easter egg-sort of freebie…

Preview:

As Naegi and Kirigiri are busy at Hope's Peak, the space shuttle is about to descend, where it would reveal which country would it land, and it might compel Naegi to spring into action…

See you in 6-8 weeks (probably around late February or early March)…

Reviews are welcomed, but needed…
