A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.
1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.
2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).
3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. (As I said before, I've worked ahead and have already written the first 24 chapters). If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.
4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 21: Flood Part 1
"Contact The Wall," Dianne said, "And Miller and Cliff as well. We're going to need all the help we can get." Van Fleet sped on ahead, leaving Joanne, Kenna, Tenmei, and Hozier behind.
"Not yet," Greta said, "You're hurt."
"Don't worry about me," Dianne said, "Redbone!" The red Stand appeared next to her, "I'll use Fletcher's Stand to heal my wounds."
Redbone's chest opened up and Dianne got ready to get in but was stopped when Greta grabbed her arm, "I thought they would kill you." she said softly.
Dianne scoffed, "And I thought they had already killed you."
"You know me," Greta said, "I'm too stubborn to die." She laughed as she pulled Dianne closer for a kiss. Dianne smiled and accepted the kiss, embracing Greta as well.
"After you're all healed up, we'll have this airship to ourselves for a while," she said with a smirk as she pulled her head away from Dianne.
"Looks like we'll finally get some alone time." She said as she gave Greta one last kiss before stepping inside Redbone, "You'd better call the others quick," she said as Redbone's chest closed, "Don't keep me waiting."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Greta said, "I'm making the calls now."
...
"We should get Hol Horse and Polnareff's bodies," Tenmei said, "We'll need to give them a proper funeral."
Joanne felt a pit in her stomach, she had almost forgotten about them. A wave of sorrow filled her body as she came to realize that the two were gone for good. Although Hol Horse would annoy her on several occasions with his constant whining and complaining, Joanne had grown a soft spot for him over the few days she knew him. And Polnareff was the biggest source of motivation in the group. Joanne would listen to his stories throughout the hours of driving. He never seemed to run out of them. He would talk about the time he met and fought against his good friend Abdul, then transition to a story about him being eaten by his zombie sister, then transition to him fighting against a time-warping gang leader in Italy named Diavolo.
"Yeah," she finally said, "I guess we should also give Jotaro a call, he probably needs to know this."
Tenmei sighed, "There's so much to do, yet there's nothing we can do. We just lost our chance to kill Dio… No, Dianne was her name, right? How are we going to track her down?"
"Knowing her," Kenna said, "we'll see her again. The only time I had met her was when she was pretending to be Dio when I first came to the mansion. I remember she grabbed my shoulder as she coldly welcomed me into the 'family'. She said that she can copy and store others' Stand abilities by coming into physical contact with them, right? That means she has my Redbone, she's probably healing her injuries right now. She's not down for the count. If anything, it'll be her that's trying to track us down."
"So we stay together," Tenmei said, "We'll go back to Morioh where we can give Polnareff and Hol Horse a proper funeral as well as consult with the Speedwagon Foundation. Then we can worry about him." Tenmei said as he looked down at Hozier.
"Then you'll take me to church right, Kenna?" Hozier said as he looked up at Kenna, "You promised."
"I know," Kenna said, "I'll help you find your parents, don't worry."
"Then we should meet up with Jotaro and Jolyne, right?" Joanne said, "They're a part of this too."
"That's the issue," Tenmei said, "They're pretty badly beaten up from their Stand attack yesterday, it'll take a few months before they can fully recover. Plus Portobello Belle's injuries might make him retire from this battle."
"Portobello Belle?" Kenna asked, "Who's that?"
"Just a friend of Jotaro's. I haven't met him," Tenmei said, "He lost his arm in the attack."
"Can't you send me?" Kenna asked, "I can heal their wounds with Redbone."
"I already offered," Tenmei said, "But Jotaro was against it. If enemy Stand users hijack the plane and kill you, Kenna, then there's no hope. Since Josuke is out of commission, you're the only healer we can rely on. Jotaro is sure that he and Jolyne should make a full recovery within two months, and that Portobello will find a way to heal himself with his Stand. Kenna, you are our most reliable asset, and you are not allowed to be anywhere alone."
"Gee, this makes me feel special," Kenna said, "So that means I'm staying here in Japan?"
"I think it's for the best," Tenmei said before turning to Joanne, "You too. The three of us will stay in Morioh with the Speedwagon Foundation until Jotaro, Jolyne, and Portobello recover. We will determine our plan of action until then."
"What about him?" Kenna asked, motioning to Hozier who was tightly clutching her pant leg.
"We'll have the Speedwagon Foundation contact his parents," Tenmei said as he crouched down next to Hozier, "What's your last name?"
"Um, Byrne," Hozier said.
"Ok then, Hozier Byrne," Tenmei said, "I'll make sure you get back to your family."
Joanne sighed. This whole series of events was such a mess, what would they do now? More importantly, what would Dianne and Greta do? How many other Stand users did they command? Who were The Wall, and when would they be hunted down by them? All these thoughts clouded Joanne's head. She turned towards Kenna to ask her something but completely forgot. The full moon shone light down on all of them. Seeing Kenna illuminated by moonlight, Joanne forgot about what she was going to say.
...
When they got back three days later, Tenmei, Kenna, and Joanne stayed in the Morioh Grand Hotel. Hol Horse's and Polnareff's bodies were buried in Morioh, and Jotaro had missed the funeral. The Speedwagon Foundation had already arrested Loni Dodson and put her in a cell that wouldn't melt from her Stand's acid. Tenmei had talked with a Speedwagon Foundation officer called Binns about Hozier. Binns personally went on an investigation to find Hozier's parents but came back with the news that they had been murdered. He theorized that whoever took Hozier to Dianne's mansion must have killed his parents.
"Damn," Tenmei said, "So we're keeping the kid with us then."
"Why not take him away to an orphanage?" Binns asked, "I'd be more than happy to take him myself."
"The kid's a Stand user," Tenmei said, "He might've inherited his Stand from his parents, did you get any info on them?"
"You're avoiding my offer," Binns said.
"And you're avoiding my question."
Binns sighed, "I'll have my team work on finding out more about the Byrnes."
"Good," Tenmei said, "The kid's safer with me than he is with you."
"What's this about?" Binns asked, anger in his voice, "You don't trust me now?"
Now Tenmei raised his voice, "I am a higher officer of the Speedwagon Foundation, Binns! I seem to remember a certain incident in 2oo5. Weren't you hunting down a Stand user that bombed and killed twenty-three people? And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this person have an airship Stand?"
"Yes but—"
"And didn't you find this Stand user with two college students hiding in a car?" Tenmei continued, cutting Binns off, "You crashed their car and one of the college students got out. You saw his Stand and ordered the others to fire. You killed him. Now, let me ask you one last question, what did his Stand look like?"
Binns swallowed nervously, "An angel. It was the statue of an angel with one of its arms missing."
"Voltaire," Tenmei said, "I came into contact with this Stand, it can replay events ten seconds into the past."
"Yes I remember," Binns said, "As my squad and I shot him dead, he replayed the last ten seconds, and got shot again."
Tenmei sighed, "Dianne mentioned that Voltaire was her dead brother's Stand. Binns, do you have any idea who you've killed?"
"Based on fingerprints, his name was Damien Donovan," Binns said, "The Stand user we were after along with another girl who we presumed to be his sister managed to get away and we never saw them again."
"Dianne was his sister," Tenmei said, "And the Stand user you were after is called Greta. You killed Dianne's brother. You're the person who put her on this path of revenge. Had you not senselessly shot Damien, none of this would have happened."
"H-he brought out his Stand! He was going to attack us!" Binns said, backing away from Tenmei.
"Then use your goddamn ability, Binns!" Tenmei was practically yelling now, "What's the point of having a Stand that disrupts the abilities of others if you're not gonna use it?!"
"I'm not going to use The Space Between, Tenmei! Never!" Binns retaliated, "I got cut by that arrow by accident! I never asked for a Stand, and I'm never going to use it!"
"I can't believe this," Tenmei groaned, "I'm done, Binns! Get out of here!"
Tenmei later told all this information to Joanne and Kenna.
"So Hozier is staying with us?" Kenna asked. It was midnight, and Hozier was already asleep in his hotel room.
"Until further notice, yes," Tenmei said, "I'm going to tell him tomorrow about his parents."
"Isn't that too cruel?" Joanne asked, "The poor kid's only seven."
"He deserves to know," Tenmei said, "And the sooner the better."
Joanne sighed, "That's fair, but the kid's gonna be devastated."
"I know," Tenmei said, "But this is the right thing to do." He stood up, "I'll let you guys get some sleep, we'll talk more in the morning." Tenmei left the hotel room. Kenna and Joanne had been staying in a two-bed hotel room, while Tenmei and Hozier were staying in a room together. The Speedwagon Foundation was paying for the rooms. Joanne didn't know why, but when she found out that she would be sharing a room with someone, she got butterflies in her stomach. She felt strange but oddly happy.
The next day, Tenmei told Hozier about his parents. He didn't take it lightly and was devastated. In the following days, Kenna, Joanne, and Tenmei frequently visited the statues of Josuke, Koichi, Yukako, Rohan, and Okuyasu to see if anything had changed, but their status stayed the same. Speedwagon Foundation officers were constantly checking for enemy Stand users, and looking in the sky to make sure Greta wasn't coming nearby.
...
Two months later
Joanne had been spending a lot of time with Kenna. She had taken her around Morioh. Joanne showed her the Italian restaurant that heals any injuries or illnesses, she had shown her a rock off a small cliff that supposedly bounced a girl back up after she had attempted suicide, and she had shown her the talking book in the Morioh library. Joanne felt comfortable around Kenna. She often felt a bit flustered when she got close to her. Kenna also seemed to get shy or flustered whenever she got close to Joanne, but usually made some sort of excuse like "It's getting kind of hot, isn't it?" or "Hey, what's that over there?" to get farther away. Whenever Kenna got too close to Joanne, it was as if her brain shut off, and she had to get away to turn it back on. Thankfully for her, Joanne didn't seem to notice.
This time around, Kenna and Joanne were just walking around, not going to any place in particular, just enjoying the afternoon breeze. As they walked around and talked about what movies they liked, Joanne noticed something.
"Hold on, Kenna," she said, "Tenmei's coming."
"Sorry to interrupt," Tenmei said as he approached the two, "But I've been looking for you."
"Really?" Kenna asked, "What happened?"
"Jotaro just called," Tenmei said, "He along with Jolyne and Portobello will arrive here in a week."
"Really?" Joanne said, "That's good news. But what are we gonna do then? Do we have any leads on Dianne and Greta's whereabouts?"
"Unfortunately not," Tenmei said, "Those two have covered their tracks well, they're doing a damn good job at staying hidden. But this leads me to believe that they're planning something. It's been two months already, unlike the several Stand users we had to face in three days, we've seen no enemy activity. And we know that there are other Stand users, right?"
"Yes," Kenna said, "Danielle Miller, Bill Cliff, and The Wall. At least. There could even be others that I don't know about."
"Hm," Joanne said, "Has that spider girl cracked yet?"
"Loni Dodson has refused to answer any of our questions," Tenmei said, "Even when we used Redbone to remove her flesh bud she still refuses to say anything."
"Stubborn bastard," Joanne muttered, "Let Abstract and I see her, we'll make her talk!"
"I could see if I can arrange that," Tenmei said, "But you are not allowed to harm the prisoner. You may threaten her all you like, but it's too dangerous to get close to her with her Freakshow."
"Yeah, I remember," Kenna said, "I was no match for her when I tried to rescue you, Joanne."
"Give yourself more credit!" Joanne said as she put her hand on Kenna's shoulder, "Not only did you help me get out of those webs, but you used Redbone to free yourself. I bet you if we interrogate her together, we'll make her tell us everything she knows."
"Well," Tenmei said, "I'll see what I can do. I only came here to tell you two about Jotaro. I'll tell you if you get approval to talk to Loni Dodson." Tenmei waved goodbye before walking away.
Kenna sighed, "Well, I guess I should get going, we'll meet up later if the Speedwagon Foundation approves of our interrogation."
"Uh… Yeah!" Joanne said as Kenna walked away as well, leaving her alone.
"Yo, Jo! What's bothering ya?" The Stand appeared.
"It's nothing to worry about, Abstract."
"C'mon, Jo! You're hiding something from me!'
"I am not! I just wanted to hang out more with Kenna, that's all."
"Jo! Do you… Like Kenna? Like like her?"
"What?!" Joanne's face grew red, "N-no… Just leave me alone!"
"You stuttered!" Abstract began to laugh, "You've totally fallen head over heels for her! That's hilarious! Next thing you know, I'm gonna be hooking up with Redbone!"
"It's not like that!" Joanne said, hiding her face, "And even if it was, it wouldn't be that big of a deal."
"Whatever you say, Jo. I'll leave you be, but call me if you need some help with your love poem."
"Love poem?! Get out of here, Abstract!"
Abstract laughed before disappearing, leaving Joanne, a blushing mess, to sit down and sigh. She looked up, the sky really was beautiful today.
...
Two months ago
It had been a few hours since Dianne's escape. She had healed all her wounds with Redbone and had spent her time in bed with Greta.
"It's been a while," Dianne said, under the covers with Greta.
"Well, we haven't had much alone time recently," Greta said, laying down next to Dianne, stroking her hair, "Van Fleet is heading to pick up Miller and Cliff, so we don't have to worry ourselves for another few hours."
"That's a relief," Dianne said, "After all the shit I have to deal with, It's nice to spend some time in bed with my wife." Dianne reached over and kissed Greta on the forehead before grabbing a wedding ring off a counter and putting it on. She walked to the end of the room next to the door and grabbed a robe to cover up her bare body. Greta smiled as she reached over to the counter, put on her own ring, and walked towards Dianne, hugging her, "I love you," she said.
"I love you too," Dianne said as she brushed her hand on Greta's bare back, "Now put on some clothes, I'll make us something to eat."
Half an hour later, the two were fully clothed and eating in the sitting area where the passengers could sit down and hang out. It felt really empty with just the two of them there, but Greta was well accustomed to only having two or three people in her airship. As Dianne stretched and adjusted her sitting posture, she heard a loud clunk from another room, "What was that? Did you hear that, Greta?"
"I did. It came from the engine room."
"Damn!" Dianne rose to her feet, "Did Kakyoin and the others sneak on board somehow?!"
"I don't know, surely they wouldn't have waited three hours before attacking us."
Dianne sighed, "Red Nightmare." The fog showed up right next to her and began to take the form of something.
"I'll use Amplifier to transport directly to the sound."
Greta looked as the fog took up the shape and color of the metallic Stand.
"Stay here, Greta," Dianne said, "If they try to attack, I'll use Above Earth to separate them from me. But you're defenseless, so stay here no matter what. I don't want you getting hurt."
"I understand," Greta said, "Don't die, Dianne."
Dianne looked back at her and smiled, "You know me, I'm too stubborn to die."
Greta smiled as another bang could be heard and Dianne disappeared along with Amplifier. She appeared in the engine room, right where Greta had said the sound was coming from. She looked around, ready to send anyone to the farthest wall using Above Earth, but was surprised when someone with bad burn marks and tattered clothing came into view.
"Khan?" Dianne said in disbelief, "Greta said you died. But look at you, you survived the crash!"
Khan didn't notice Dianne, he winced with every movement of his burnt skin. Nearly all his hair had been burnt off, and the little patches that remained were singed. He tried to stand up, but fell on the metal floor and let out a loud bang that echoed throughout the engine room.
"Khan? Can you hear me?" Dianne walked closer to the injured man, "I might be able to heal some of your wounds, but I can't replace all the skin you've lost. But I can make all the pain go away, you must be in such indescribable pain right now." Dianne kneeled next to Khan as Amplifier turned into Redbone and opened up its chest.
Khan looked up and saw Dianne, "Lord Dio!" He said with a pained voice, "Am I talking right now? Are you talking right now?"
"What? I'm not sure I understand."
"I-I can read your lips, Greta taught everyone in the mansion how to read lips… But… I can't hear! I can't hear a damned thing, Lord Dio!"
"Calm down, the burns probably irritated your ears, maybe Redbone can help."
Khan nodded before stepping inside the Stand's chest. He felt his wounds heal but knew that all his lost skin would not return, he'd have horrible scars for the rest of his life. But he didn't care, all he wanted was his hearing back. Within a few seconds, Redbone's chest opened back up, and Khan crawled back out.
"Can you hear me, Khan? Your wounds are healed, you're not going to die. I need you to tell me what happened. You must've been suffering for hours… Why didn't you make noise earlier? We would've come sooner."
"No…" Khan said, "I can barely make out your voice, but it's so soft that I can't understand you. I'm not completely deaf, but I might as well be… Lord Dio, I had fainted from the pain, I couldn't describe to you what it felt like to be pinned down between the walls of this airship and be slowly burned alive. Had Greta not immediately begun to restore her Stand with her ability and put out the flames, I surely would've died. I only regained consciousness recently. Lord Dio, I am sorry for being too weak to stop the Joestar and her group."
Dianne sighed, "What a mess. But I'm glad you're alive, Khan, there is so much that happened, so much that I need to tell you. But I'll save the story for when we get Miller and Cliff."
"Miller and Cliff?" Khan asked as he tried to stand up again, "What are you planning, Lord Dio?"
"Please, call me by my real name, nobody's around. Besides, I'm done keeping secrets from the others."
Present-day
...
Van Fleet was parked several kilometers away from Morioh; four people exited it. The first one was Dianne, who used Elastic Band to change her body into that of a blond woman, contrasting her black hair. The second was Khan, whose entire body was covered up, he wore a trench coat, and around his wrists were gloves that concealed his burnt hands. Around his neck was a scarf, and he wore a metallic mask with two holes for his eyes. The mask had two other holes on its side for breathing and a slit indent for where the mouth would be. Around Khan's ears were hearing aids which helped with his partial deafness. He wore a top hat over his head to conceal his now fully shaven, scarred head. The last two people were a man and a woman who looked to be in their late twenties or early thirties, definitely older than Dianne and Greta.
"Are you sure they're here?" The man asked.
"It's the most likely scenario," Dianne said, "Remember what we planned?"
"Yeah yeah," the woman said, "We didn't spend two months on this for nothing."
"Good," Dianne said, "This may be our last chance in killing the Joestars. Thank you for trusting me even when I deceived you."
The man laughed, "It's kind of funny, I always thought you were a muscular man, but you were just a hot chick."
Dianne scoffed, "Don't get too comfortable around me, I could still kill you in an instant, Cliff."
"I didn't mean anything by it," Cliff said, "I was just stating a fact."
"Hold on," Khan said as he looked behind him, "Miller, where are the others?"
The woman turned around, "They're coming. I can hear their footsteps."
Two more people came out of Van Fleet.
Miller smiled, "I'm glad you joined us, Clayton, Eaden."
...
A/N: And that's chapter 21! This marks both the conclusion of the first major story arc and the introduction of the second. In total there will be either three or four, I haven't decided exactly how I wanna go about the ending, but I'll get there when I get there. If you were or still are expecting some sort of giant flood to swoop down and kill everyone, then I'm sorry to disappoint. This chapter is named after an album by the band, They Might Be Giants. Hozier's last name, Byrne, is a reference to the real-life Hozier's last name which is also Byrne. Binns is named after Henry Binns, a member of the American music duo, Zero 7. Binns' Stand, The Space Between, while only mentioned, is also a reference to Zero 7's song of the same name. Now that I've got all the musical references out of the way, I'm glad to fully confirm that not only are Greta and Dianne in a relationship, but they are in fact married. You might have noticed that Greta had a ring during the Amplification chapters, and Dianne was also wearing a ring last chapter. I'm also glad to confirm both the return of Khan Miran, who survived the crash and June Eaden and Ally Clayton. Why are Eaden and Clayton working with Dianne? Tune in to find out! See you all next week for Episode 22: Flood Part 2.
