Charlie Swan sat in his favorite recliner at the house he had owned for nearly two decades. The decorations and list of occupants had changed a little over the years but not much ever truly changed in the sleepy town of Forks, Washington, nor Charlie's life in general, not until recently.
Having exhausted the books on C-PTSD he could borrow from Jasper and Carlisle, Charlie quickly got bored. He read all the books Bella had left behind, including Bitten. Talk about a desperate man! He was minding his own business at the Forks library one day, hiding in an armchair away from everyone else with a stack of books. To his delight, or perhaps general amusement, Bitten had a sequel…Blood.
"That's a good one." said a jolly voice with an unmistakable feminine tone. Charlie jumped and dropped the book in the floor as his cheeks flushed and he scrambled to hide it, though she had already seen it. "Though not many men would be caught dead reading that in public." She giggled. "I'm Mary, the new librarian."
"Charlie Swan, Chief of police."
"I won't tell anyone your little secret if you don't tell mine."
"What's that?" he asked, still blushing in embarrassment.
"I too enjoy reading my guilty pleasures away from everyone else. Werewolf romance."
Charlie laughed and looked up at her properly. She was roughly his age with black hair, large green eyes, and colorful attire complete with earrings shaped like books. She was far from the typical librarian. Though she wore a lot of jewelry, there were no rings. Taking a deep breath to summon some courage, Charlie stood up and looked her in the eye. "Perhaps I can buy you a coffee and we can swap reading lists sometime? I'm afraid Forks doesn't have much but the one diner." He nervously shifted his weight.
"I'd love to."
"Then it's a date." he blurted out, regretting how eager it sounded as soon as he said it.
"It's a date." Mary agreed, walking away to finish shelving books.
"What are you thinking about?"
"The day we met. Was that really four months ago?" Charlie asked, taking a sip of his beer.
Mary took a drink of hers and belched, giggling as she said, "Excuse me. I suppose it was. You're sure they won't mind meeting me as soon as they come to visit you? I don't want to intrude."
"Nonsense. Bella will love you. She's been asking when she gets to meet you from the second I mentioned your name on the phone."
"What if she doesn't like me?"
"I know she will. Talk about Pride and Prejudice. You'll win her over."
"And Edward?"
"He's happy if she's happy. She wears the pants there." he laughed.
"Ah. They should be here soon?"
"Any minute now."
"Dad!" Bella exclaimed, rushing to give him a hug and taking him completely by surprise with her enthusiasm.
"Hey, kid."
"I've missed you!"
"I've missed you too!
"I brought you presents!"
"You better have." Charlie teased. "Hey Edward."
"Hi Charlie."
"Kids, this is Mary."
"Mary!" Bella ran to hug her and Mary laughed. "Dad has told me so much about you! A librarian?! That's cool."
"And to think I was worried." Mary smiled.
"Told ya so." Charlie said. "I heard there were presents?" Edward smiled and handed him a large bag which Charlie eagerly opened.
"Bella, I want you to know that I would never come between you and your father. You always come first to him and I'm good with that. More than good. He told me your mom hasn't even called to check on you. How awful!"
Bella smiled at the woman and admired the stars in the night sky from where they stood alone on the porch. "Thank you. It's good to see him happy. I've worried about him being alone for a long time."
"You worry too much for someone your age. I'll take good care of him. Are you the one that taught him how to cook?"
"The basics."
"He's wonderful! I've never met a man who would not only read vampire romance novels but cook too!"
"Dad reads vampire romance?" Bella laughed. "He used to make fun of it with me but I had no idea he enjoyed it!"
"Oh dear, and I promised I wouldn't tell."
"His secret is safe with me." Bella smiled. "But now I know what to get him for Christmas."
"It's time to choose our first scholarship winners." Esme walked into the room where the whole family was assembled with a stack of essays. "We're going to do one hundred full tuition scholarships each year. Half will go to women escaping abusive situations. Half to anyone at all dealing with trauma. It's about how these essays make us feel. Not just grammar or words chosen. Alright? All applicants will be getting at least their textbooks paid by us, but they don't find that out until we pick the winners." Esme smiled. "Carlisle and I put enough money in a fund that the interest alone should keep it going for a few lifetimes even if there are thousands of applicants."
Carlisle moved to stand beside his wife. "It might be easiest and most fair if we take turns reading them aloud. Not all of them." he laughed. "Our human will need to sleep eventually. But some, the rest we can read on our own and write out votes on."
"I'll start." Esme said. "Growing up with my mother wasn't easy. You know how childhood is supposed to be a time of joy and play? A time of fun? Sometimes, the child has to learn to be the parent real quick. It sucks. It isn't fair. People may say life isn't fair, but I'm here as proof that isn't true. Life really isn't fair up to a point, but past that point, life is about what you put into it. For me, that's a lot of hard work. I've been working full time since I was fourteen years old. I read homework chapters on breaks. I write essays on lunch. I drink entirely too much coffee just to wake up early for my eight a.m. classes, but you know what? I do it. I do it so I can make a better life for myself and others that come after me. As well as those who look up to me, like my little brother. The world can be a better place as long as we make it that way."
"Wow." Carlisle said.
"Indeed." Jasper agreed.
"That poor baby." Esme put it in the winner stack as Jasper nodded at her, reading the emotions in the room. "It's our turn to take a little care of you, sweet child."
"My turn." Carlisle started, grabbing a paper from the stack. "No child should ever have to experience war. Let me start my essay over. No human should ever have to experience war. But many children do. I did. I was only four years old when we had to escape my country. I don't really remember the days of walking to safety or the sights of our destroyed countryside. What I do remember is my mother crying.
My mother cried for me, for her, and for all the family and friends we had lost. She wept for her country. For her brothers, whether in blood or not. I have lived my entire life never wanting to make my mother cry again. It forced me to be afraid of everything, even once we were safely settled in America. If I got a bad grade, would my mother cry for wasted opportunity? If I burned my toast, would my mother cry for burnt food? She gave so much for me that I couldn't bear to disappoint her, though she never put any unreal expectations on me. Sometimes, you are your own worst critic.
While I was worried about my grades, mother was grateful I could attend school. While I concerned myself with burning toast, mother was happy we had food. How is this relevant to me going to college? I realize now what an opportunity this is. I know that I don't have to be perfect to be perfectly happy. I want to study psychology and counseling so I can help others learn that too."
"And you shall." Alice said, seeing a vision of the essay going into the winner stack and smiling softly. "My turn to read." Alice stood up and grabbed a paper.
"What if they're all winners?" Bella asked.
"Then we'll fund as many as we can, even if we have to throw fundraisers and other events to help raise the money." Jasper promised.
Alice started to read, "While I'm sure you have read plenty of essays about parents and families, my trauma comes from childhood bullies. I've told myself for years that I have it better than most. I have a loving, supportive family who does their best to help me with everything even though we have limited resources. That's why I felt so bad about suffering from C-PTSD. I told myself that people have it so much worse than me. And you know what? They do. But that doesn't make my experiences any less valid.
I don't have to belittle myself or my own traumas just because others have theirs too. In fact, we should all focus on healing and helping each other no matter what we've been through. I want to go to college so I can be proud of the man I've become. And so I can educate others on the lasting effects of bullying." Alice sat the paper down in the chosen pile. "I can see you all have voted yes."
"Why don't we just have Alice read them and put them in the pile we'll decide on?" Emmett laughed.
Alice stuck her tongue out at them. "Because your decisions aren't made until you hear the essays, smartass."
"Oooh, pixie is sassy."
"My turn!" Jasper jumped up and grabbed an essay as a distraction. Bella rested her head on Edward's shoulder, feeling a surge of love and pride for her family. Jasper winked at her and spread her feelings around the room before he began to read.
"Bella!" Alice giggled. "That thing you just decided on – don't change your mind! How funny. He will love it!"
"What if he finds out before it's done?"
"He won't. You can work on it in my room or the attic room Esme made for your sessions when he's busy doing something else. It's such a great idea. What a way to keep him distracted while your change takes place."
"There's something I want to discuss with everyone." Carlisle said to the assembled Cullen family. "I would like to author perhaps the first ever legitimate research paper or book on vampires. I have a theory to test. I'm not sure if the Volturi will be thrilled or completely irritated with me if I publish it so I thought I would start with only family and maybe talk to Marcus first. We used to be close friends, so I'm allowed to visit from time to time."
"What about, Carlisle?" Esme asked.
"Yeah, what's the theory?" Rosalie leaned forward in interest.
"I believe vampire gifts are due to traumatic experience. Everyone deals with trauma differently. In humans, some people develop PTSD and C-PTSD while others with similar life experiences do not. I propose that certain immortals respond to trauma by developing a gift. That it isn't random like we had previously thought. Let me give some examples.
Edward can read minds because he always worried about what other people were thinking. Jasper can feel emotions because he worried about what people were feeling. Alice has visions of the future because she was concerned about the future. Emmett has extra strength because his concerns were on taking care of his family. These things were likely in response to trauma, not seeing something coming, not knowing someone misinterpreted something that was said badly until it was too late, not wanting to anger a parent or someone, etc.
Outside the family, Aro might have been traumatized by people close to him misunderstanding him and so his mind reading only works on those he can touch. Eleazer can detect the gifts of others because his trauma comes from watching those he loved feel worthless. I believe he recalled his brother committing suicide while he was still human. So he tries to bring out the gifts in others.
Zafrina can project images and show others what she wants them to see because she may have needed a quick getaway in the past or perhaps she made fantasy worlds in her head and learned to show them to others. I'm not really sure…"
"It's a great start." Edward said.
"An intriguing one." Jasper agreed.
"Makes sense with my gift." Bella said.
"Indeed." Carlisle started, "It was your gift that gave me the idea."
"The implications of this…" Jasper started.
"I know. I'm honestly not sure how the Volturi will react. I don't believe healing the trauma will get rid of anyone's gifts. Especially because most immortals don't even remember their human lives. Aro might take offense to me making assumptions of his personal life, though. I was always closer to Marcus. I think it best I study the family and perhaps the Denalis first, then I'll take my findings to Marcus for his opinion."
"It sounds lovely." Esme said. "A lot of immortals become upset when they realize they don't have a special gift. Perhaps it can help them feel better about themselves as well."
"Indeed." Carlisle agreed.
"You wanted to see me, Edward?" Jasper asked.
"I have a theory."
"Bring it."
"Carlisle's idea about gifts being a result of trauma. Do you think my mind reading is a result of hypervigilance when I was a human? I admit to still being too hypervigilant now too. In particular around Bella since she's still human."
"Not for much longer."
"I know. I wonder though, if I could learn to relax that, do you think I could lessen my gift? Like I would have to concentrate to hear other's thoughts instead of having them thrown at me all the time?"
"Perhaps."
"I'll mention this to Carlisle too but I wanted your opinion."
"It's worth a shot. And we can test this one. You think it'll ease up once Bella is immortal and thus a lot safer?"
"I do."
"Never a dull day in this family." Jasper smiled. "One of us being a human doctor wasn't enough. Now we're going all vampire doctor too."
"Hey, though we don't practice technically three of us are doctors."
"About that…" Jasper held up a piece of mail. "In a few years, it will be four. I admit to still struggling a little to being around humans, but I can take it a class or two at a time and do a lot online. I'm going to become a psychologist."
"Congratulations! That's a big decision!"
"I know. I'm excited. Alice told me all about it before I even finished my application letter."
"Bella's been up to something. Alice is concealing her thoughts about it well. So is Bella. She give you any hints?"
"Even if she had, I wouldn't share." Jasper smiled and clapped Edward on the shoulder. "Now, go present your theory to Carlisle. He's going to be so excited."
"Hey Bella, I want to give you a present. In private." Alice grinned.
"You think the others won't find out about it soon enough?"
"Oh, they will. But I want to see your face."
"Fine." Bella got up from where she was comfortably snuggling Edward and followed Alice outside. Alice picked her up and took off running.
"I can't believe you wrote your novel that fast! What did it take – like a week?!"
"Two weeks to type. I already had most of it planned out in my head. I just had to get it to paper… well… computer."
"Don't kill me-"
"I can't. You're a vampire."
Alice giggled. "But I sent it off to a publisher. They love it! They want to publish it!"
"Are you serious? I did it to annoy Edward and give him something to laugh about while I'm changing. Not for anyone to actually read it!"
"I know. You aren't mad at me."
"No. I'm in shock!"
Alice laughed. "I knew you wouldn't be mad. I saw it. I didn't bribe them. I promise. They love your unique take on vampires and really want to publish it!"
"Dad will be thrilled. Can you believe him and Mary love vampire and werewolf romances?"
"I can. I keep an eye on your dad in my visions. I see him picking them out on occasion."
"Won't it make people suspicious though?"
"They all believe it's fiction just like everything else published about us. As for your dad, he knows we're supernatural but isn't at all concerned with the details. Ask Edward about telling Charlie he can read minds."
"Wait, dad knows?!"
"Yeah. How do you think they kept an eye on us eating lunch with your mom the day before the wedding without coming in the restaurant?"
"Oh my God. I can't believe he didn't tell me!"
"In his defense, you two were kept apart that day and pretty busy the next. And ever since." She giggled.
"True." Bella agreed with a blushing smile. "Alright, let's do this. You gave them a pen name though?"
"I did."
"I would like a copy to gift to Charlie and Mary. As well as Edward."
"Already done."
"Can the proceeds go to the scholarship fund?"
"Sure thing."
"You really think people want to read this?"
"It will be a best seller." Alice promised.
Bella smiled. "I was only joking about most of it. I hope no one takes it too seriously."
"They won't. And they will love the part on page one ninety-four…"
"Oh no."
"Oh yes. I didn't make a single edit."
"Well, there goes dad believing I'm still a virgin."
"You're married!"
"And?"
Alice hugged her. "And I love you, sister."
"I love you too. Thank you for doing what I was too afraid to."
"Atta girl! I wouldn't have done it if I saw you getting upset. But I knew you'd be happy."
"What a nice gift you have."
"Yours is pretty cool too. Blocking mind-readers!"
"True." Bella agreed.
"I have something to tell you, Edward, Bella. I'm sorry it wasn't done fast enough to show you in person but once you're feeling better, we can all go, if you'd like."
"What is it, mom?" Edward asked.
"Well, since you two have been traveling it's been a lot easier to keep secrets." Esme smiled affectionately and handed him a ring of old-fashioned keys. "When you told us about your trip to Chicago and how the neighborhood has fallen apart, well, I couldn't let that happen. I know how much it means to you. I bought the entire block and had all the houses restored. I didn't touch yours other than to check on it."
"What are we going to do with all those houses?" Bella asked, "It's a lovely idea, though!" She quickly added.
Esme patted her hand. "The keyring is symbolic. We only technically 'own' yours now, Edward. You see, the others have been lovingly updated and gifted to a few Chicago universities for their most needy students to use while they are in school. Those who might not do well in a traditional dorm room or who might struggle to afford room and board. They are to be used without fees as long as the school doesn't let them decay or get mistreated. The deeds are placed in a trust."
"Mom." Edward stood up and took her in his arms. "What would I ever do without you?"
"The world needs more Esmes." Bella smiled, hugging her next.
"Think nothing of it. You've inspired us all so much, Bella. All these years we've felt like we were missing something. I know now what it is. Two somethings. Purpose. And you. Though you aren't a thing."
"Are we talking about things?!" Emmett shouted over his video game. "I measured mine last night-!"
"No, Emmett!" Esme shouted.
"I meant my cactus plant!"
"Sure you did, son."
"Are you ready, my love?"
"Almost." Bella smiled. "You have us in a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere, thankfully large enough to accommodate the whole family in case we need them. This really isn't a cabin though. I don't know why you call it that. More like mansion." She rolled her eyes playfully. "We're together. There's plenty of wildlife for when I wake up thirsty. You let dad know I would be out of contact for at least a couple days. I spent last weekend with him so we would have some time together. What are we forgetting? Oh, I have a present for you."
"Aren't you my present?" Edward asked, his eyes twinkling in happiness that Bella was really his.
"If you keep talking like that we're never going to get this done."
"Ew!" Emmett shouted from another room, not hiding the fact that he was eavesdropping.
"I am going to show you exactly how I feel about your nosiness when I wake up stronger than you!"
"Bring it on!"
"Anyhow!" Bella walked to a bookshelf in the bedroom with them and handed Edward a book.
"Love's Bite? What is this?"
She giggled. "Something for you to read while I'm changing. I know you aren't going to leave my side for the next three days."
"You're kidding, right?"
"It started out as a joke. I thought it would be funny to write one to annoy you since you hated Bitten so much. A somewhat accurate vampire romance to your specific complaints. But Alice sent it off to a publisher. They loved it, so… maybe I'm on to something."
"You wrote this?!"
"Look at the dedication page."
"Love is beautiful, painful, intense, and unpredictable. Love is immortal. Don't give up. You never know when it might hit you. Stupid, shiny Volvo owner." Edward laughed. He started to talk several times and kept closing his mouth, unsure of what to say. "Am I going to regret reading this?"
"Page one ninety-four, perhaps."
Edward stared at Bella and she laughed loudly, squealing as he grabbed her in a hug and tossed her on the bed, carefully cradling her in his arms so she wasn't hurt. "I am going to miss being able to scare you."
"Just think, I will never have to sleep. You won't have to hunt without me. You don't have to stress about me dying anymore due to choking or spider bite or…"
"I know." He kissed her cheek. "I can't believe you wrote a vampire romance novel!"
"I gave dad and Mary a copy."
"Bella! They are going to figure out our secret!"
"Because I gave them a work of fiction like the crap they both already read? You told my dad you're a mind-reader!"
Edward chuckled nervously. "Touché. You sure you're ready for this, love?"
"If you ask if she's sure one more time, I'm going to come bite her myself!" Emmett shouted. "I will drink her like a Capri Sun!"
Bella laughed, "He's trying to make you angry, isn't he?"
"No!" Emmett shouted.
"Just do it. The sooner you do, the sooner we have forever."
"Forever." Edward promised. He kissed his wife slowly, taking his time to make sure she felt his love and gentle care with each brush of their lips. "I'm sorry about how much this will hurt. I love you so much."
"I love you too. I'm ready. I want this."
Edward kissed a slow path down her neck, stopping to inhale her scent and relish the sound of her strong heartbeat before whispering his love and sinking his teeth in. Though she tried to stay quiet, Bella screamed from the pain. It was enough to make Edward stop after only one delicious mouthful, which he savored for as long as possible. The venom started work immediately. He didn't kill her. He had done it!
Edward did his best to make her comfortable and sat in quiet reflection of their lives together, but especially the last six months or so.
They spent their first night as husband and wife in their cabin in Forks, enjoying peace and quiet and each other before traveling for nearly a day to reach Brazil. Their world travels started at Esme's private island and continued to every continent except Antarctica, though Bella had pouted adorably when he told her no penguins were involved on their travels. He had made sure to find her an aquarium after that and even arranged for her to pet a penguin and an otter. Bella had never looked happier, except perhaps their wedding day.
He made sure she sampled a variety of foods and human experiences while they traveled. Things she wouldn't be able to do as a vampire were given particular precedence, like sampling cuisine and petting cute animals. Bella swore she had gained fifteen pounds. She was as beautiful as ever.
He kissed her cheek and held her close as she cried quietly while venom took hold in her body. "I know, love. You don't have to be quiet. I know it hurts. I remember."
Bella was stubborn though and wanted to spare him as much pain as possible. She started to go in and out of consciousness but one thought kept her grounded. Edward.
When Edward's reminiscing caught up to present day, he remembered the book sitting beside him and opened it to read.
Have you ever seen someone walk into somewhere boring, like a cafeteria, and had your breath taken away by nothing more than their appearance? No? Me neither. Well, not exactly. I first saw my vampire at school. He was hot, for sure, but I knew I wasn't good enough for him. Until one day, I was. Imagine my surprise when he sat beside me one day. He sat beside me!Boring, normal me…"
Edward snorted. "Oh love, you have never been boring or normal."
There was a bunch of loud laughter from the living room where Alice had been quietly reading a copy of the book to the family now that they knew the secret.
"Did you really do what's on page one ninety-four?!" Emmett asked a bit too loudly. "I'm impressed!"
"Oh no…" Edward turned to the page and cracked up laughing. "Bella how could you! You told me you would never tell anyone." He swore there was a ghost of a smile on her lips.
Bella woke up two and a half days later, because when had she ever been one to follow someone else's schedule? She had stayed mostly quiet during her transformation. Members of the family took turns reading or talking to her in case she could hear them. She could, at times.
The first thing Bella noticed was a delightful smell unlike anything she had ever experienced before. It was like lilac, honey, and the air on sunny days. There were hints of wood smells too, likely the cabin they were in. Bella suddenly remembered where she was and who that smell belonged to. She opened her eyes with a gasp.
Her words caught in her throat as golden eyes caught all of her attention. How had she failed to notice the faint flecks of green before? They were so beautiful…
"Bella?" a voice asked that sent a pleasurable chill down her spine. "I know it's disorienting. You're alright. You're safe."
"Edward." She pulled his face to hers and kissed him roughly, as they hadn't seen each other for months. The days apart had certainly felt that way to both of them. She couldn't get enough of him. He smelled and tasted incredible. He wasn't holding a thing back from her. He didn't have to. Loud laughter from the living room snapped her out of it and made her toss him off of her. He landed in the floor with a thunk. The laughter got louder.
"Is everything alright in there?"
Bella growled and jumped to her feet. Edward smiled proudly as he restrained her. "It's alright, love. It's only Carlisle making sure you aren't trying to kill me."
"Seduce him, is more like it!" Emmett laughed his booming laugh.
"We're fine."
"Oh my God, Edward! I'm sorry!" Bella remembered throwing him into the floor.
Edward laughed. "Don't be. You're stronger than me now. You'll have to remember that."
Bella smiled. She was stronger than Edward! "You're so beautiful."
"Even as an immortal, you still don't describe me anywhere near manly enough. Besides, you're one to talk." Edward smiled and caressed her cheek. Bella leaned into his touch. How was it that he felt warm? She smiled. "We're the same temperature now." He observed.
"Take me somewhere."
"You need to hunt?" he asked. "I'm sorry. I should have taken you first thing."
"No, I mean, my throat burns a little. But I want…" Bella leaned closer to Edward to whisper in his ear. "you."
"As if I can't feel the horniness coming off from you two in waves!" Jasper shouted from the other room. "In all my life, I have never seen a newborn want anything but blood. Only you, Bella!"
"Can I see them?"
"Of course you can, love."
"Can I arm wrestle Emmett?"
"After you've hunted, you'll be stronger then." Edward laughed. "And not in the house. Esme will murder us all."
"I would never murder dear, sweet Bella."
"But the rest of us, maybe, huh mom?" Emmett asked.
"Exactly." Esme agreed.
Edward opened the door separating the two rooms. "May I present my lovely, immortal, indestructible," he laughed as Emmett wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. "wife, Bella Cullen."
"Hi everyone."
"You're so gorgeous!" Alice shouted, running towards Bella with a giant mirror. "Look!"
Bella stared, her eyes growing wide as she barely recognized the person looking back. It was her, but had she always been this stunning? Her hair was full and a deep chestnut color with red streaks. Her eyes were big and inquisitive, but not unnaturally so. Her noise was straight and rounded. Her lips were full and pouty. After a minute, she realized the venom hadn't changed her actual appearance too much. It had given her confidence. "Wow." she whispered.
"I'm a lucky man." Edward agreed.
Bella looked up at her husband and smiled. She felt at peace. She felt at home.
Edward looked into his wife's eyes and realized for once the only thoughts in his head were his own. He was home.
"I strongly suggest we let these two be." Jasper laughed. "The bloodlust is non-existent in this one. The lust, however..."
Bella growled playfully and the entire family left with a mixture of laughter, jokes, and happy sentiments that Bella was alright. Edward was safe. Everyone was together and all was well. As it always would be.
Charlie Swan sat in his familiar old recliner, except now, there was a lovely lady stretched out in his lap.
"Want to try out page one ninety-four?"
Charlie blushed, shook his head, admired his Mary, and then blushed some more. She laughed loudly. He had never felt more at home.
Author's Note: That's it! Home is officially being marked complete! It felt appropriate to end with Charlie since that's how it began.
I cannot thank you enough for your love, encouragement, and friendship as I've worked on this fic. Even when updates became sporadic, when chapters were hard to write, or when I decided to change the rating and include a little smut, you all stuck with me. Thank you so much! It has meant the world to me and really helped me get through the rough year on all of us that was 2021. I have personally read every review and comment and treasured each of them. I wish you all the best and a happy New Year! At some point, I hope to write an original novel about C-PTSD with a similar feeling to Home. I never realized just how many of us deal with it until I started writing Home.
Twilight wise, I hope to finish You Are 17, but I will have to re-read it first because I haven't updated in so long I've forgotten what happens. Lol! I'm also working on another long story called Emeralds which has been in the works for nearly a year. I have not published any of it yet but hopefully soon.
I run a small Facebook group called Canon Twilight Fanfiction if anyone is interested. Sorry if I haven't responded to all of your comments there and in other places from the last chapter yet. I have been full steam ahead on the epilogue.
With love & a belated Merry Christmas (barely!),
