Empress Teta, 3996 BBY

Sirius glared at the hologram of the helmeted alien that had dared to attack his people. For he had always considered the Tetan system to be his home ever since he had fallen through the Veil. And now these Mandalorians had attacked his home while they were still trying to rebuild from the damage done by the Krath, which was rather extensive.

Sirius was not happy about the fact that they were being attacked during a rebuilding period. And the leader of the Mandalorians, this Mandalore the Indomitable, had just challenged him to single combat on Kuar. Eyeing the longsword that had been by his side since his wedding day, Sirius smirked at Dennis, who stood beside him. After today, the Mandalorians would never be the same again!

Kuar

Sirius eyed his opponent across the battlefield. Sirius had agreed to let Mandalore the Indomitable set the terms of the battle. Mandalore had seen fit to use a Basilisk War Droid that had been modified specifically for him. Sirius did not have a mount, however. In fact, he hadn't even brought his lightsaber into combat. Only his wand and the sword that Teta herself had given him in his wedding were with him. But that would be more than enough.

As soon as Mandalore began to fire at him from his mounted droid, Sirius fired a powerful Reductor Curse at the droid, causing the droid to explode and throw the Mandalore violently from his mount. The crash caused several injuries, including a badly broken arm that was rendered useless. While extremely potent offensive weapons, the Basilisk droids had very weak armor, and didn't stand a chance against the magic of Sirius Black.

Sirius walked over to the battered form of Mandalore the Indomitable. Defeated, and knowing that his warriors would never again follow him after being beaten so embarrassingly, Mandalore looked up at the man who defeated them. "You have won. Kill me, and lead my men better than I have," Mandalore said in defeat.

"As you wish," Sirius said, and brought his sword down, beheading the man who desired to conquer his home in front of the Mandalorians he once led. Sirius then took the mask from Mandalore's head, as he knew that the next leader was chosen by donning the mask. He had run into them a couple of centuries ago and had learned quite a bit about their culture. And he knew that he could not be the next Mandalore, as he had a responsibility to the Tetan people. So he turned towards the Mandalorians.

"Who among you deserves to be the next Mandalore? Who among you was second in command of the Mandalorians?" Sirius called out. A Taung Male stepped forward.

"I am," he said, and no one disputed that fact judging from the complete silence from the Mandalorians. Or he was the only one brave enough to step forward. But either way, there was no doubt that this one deserved the title.

"Then I believe that this belongs to you, on the condition that you never return to the Seven Jewels of the Tetan System again," Sirius said firmly. The Taung Mandalorian quickly agreed, and donned the mask, and named himself Mandalore the Ultimate. But before they could turn to leave, they were stopped by a surprising request.

"Wait! Take me with you, and teach me the way of the Mandalorian. The Taung species will eventually die in battle, and you are already dangerously close to doing so. But a culture can live forever. Teach me your ways, and I can help you make sure that the Mandalorians will be remembered forever," Dennis said passionately.

Dennis had been mesmerized watching the Mandalorians battle the Tetans before the match between their leaders had been arranged. He had developed a taste for battle over the years that could not be sated, and desired combat that the Jedi Mages would not be able to provide him. Especially with a growing number back home calling for a more isolated Wizarding community on Endor. A brief conversation with one of the Mandalorian warriors had revealed that they would be a perfect fit for him.

"Dennis, are you sure about this? Harry won't like this, and there's no way the isolationists back home will let you come home if you go with them. They barely tolerate me as it is, considering their leaders aren't particularly fond of me," Sirius warned him. And it was true. The only reason he hadn't been banned from seeing the kids was because Harry and several others believed in what Sirius had been doing and because he was Harry's godfather. It didn't help that Ernie and Draco, who had surprisingly been in agreement on this after seeing or hearing about the disaster on Deneba, either didn't trust or like him.

Draco, Ernie, and Harry had managed to come to a compromise, though. No outsiders were allowed on the planet of Endor. They wanted to secure the future of the magical world before involving themselves in the greater galaxy, which Sirius could understand. The galaxy was a big and scary place, something they had realized after the droid attack on Deneba.

So considering the attitude back home, there was no way that they would let someone who worked with a group of professional soldiers around the kids. Especially since Hermione and many others would consider the Mandalorians war criminals. Mundungus wasn't allowed to come around for similar reasons. Not that he wanted to, considering what Hermione had threatened to do to his manhood if she saw him around the school again after she had caught him hauling illegal contraband on his ship eight years ago. Sirius hadn't seen much of Dung since then actually.

"I know. But this is something I need to do. War is all I know, and it's what I am good at," Dennis said with a determined look on his face.

"Your warrior spirit serves you well. You'll make an excellent Mandalorian," Mandalore the Ultimate said. He had always thought that new blood would soon be necessary, as the Taung would indeed eventually die out thanks to war casualties and recent breeding difficulties. He looked forward to seeing if this young man was as capable as his mentor. A powerful young man like this would be a huge asset to his people.

"Very well. Good luck, Dennis. May the Force be with you," Sirius said, seeing that Dennis had made up his mind. So they parted as friends, knowing that it might be some time before they saw each other again. Sirius just hoped that it wouldn't be on opposite sides of a battlefield.

Yavin IV, two years later, 3994 BBY

Ulic sighed as he watched Exar Kun conversing with one of his former colleagues from Dantooine. A Cathar Jedi named Crado had been convinced to follow them despite Exar being openly called a Sith Lord on Ossus. A dozen other Jedi Knights and Padawans had come with Crado, enticed by promises of power and Force techniques long forbidden or forgotten by the Jedi Order. They hadn't known what was waiting for them, and they hadn't stood a chance. They all belonged to the Dark Side and the Sith now. Antonin Dolohov and Exar Kun made sure of that.

Exar had also managed to find some descendants of Sith warriors on Thule that had survived the counter invasion after the Great Hyperspace War. A hundred Sith had pledged their alliegance to the new Dark Lord of the Sith. A few of them were rather gifted at channeling their anger, turning them into what Antonin Dolohov called "Sith Berserkers." The name had stuck, especially since Antonin had been rather adamant about not calling them Sith Marauders. Apparently the name of Sirius's ship had some deeper meaning.

Ulic couldn't help but admire the Sith sorcerer. The man knew dark side secrets even the Sith on Thule had forgotten. He was an excellent warrior and a capable general that had turned a rag-tag group of Sith, Dark Jedi, and Massassi into a formidable fighting force over the last three years. Something that the whole galaxy would soon see for themselves. Ulic was growing impatient, however. Exar was taking far too long to do anything, as he believed that it would take time to devise a way to defeat the Jedi and their Mage Allies, especially since they no longer had control of the Tetan military.

"What are you brooding about, Ulic?" Aleema asked as she walked up beside him. Aleema, while angered by the loss of the Empress Teta system to her ancestor, had flourished on Yavin IV. She had become even more adept with her sorcery under the tutelage of Victor Dolohov. Apparently her having Sirius as an ancestor had some benefits, as she had taken to the strange magics of the Mages like a Mon Calamari to water. Luckily for her, magic was in her blood in ways that she had never realized. She had grown very powerful over the last three years.

"I believe that Ulic grows tired of waiting for Exar to finish training his Jedi with my father. Can't say I blame him there, we should be taking the fight to the Republic instead of wasting our talents sitting around," Victor said. He had been training nearby by using a tree as target practice when he had spotted Ulic brooding.

"Hm. Lord Kun and Lord Dolohov will strike when the time is right. You should trust them instead of questioning them," Aleema said snootily, and walked away, making sure to sway her hips as she did.

"Treacherous little minx. Watch out for that one, Ulic. A woman like that would slit your throat if it benefited her without a moment's hesitation, just like she did with her cousin," Victor said as he watched Aleema walk away.

"I will keep that in mind. I suppose I would be a fool to trust her," Ulic said after a moment's thought. While Aleema claimed to love him, she was an extremely ambitious woman who had already betrayed her own flesh and blood. He would definitely keep an eye on her from now on.

"Agreed. I suppose she's right, though. Exar and my father have a plan, not that they have shared it with me. I still feel like that the time to strike is now," Victor said. He was not happy with his father keeping secrets, and was even less pleased at the birth of his little brother Vladimir that his father had with one of the female Sith from Thule last year. He feared that he was being replaced, and believed that he needed to prove his worth.

"Exactly my point! Crado has told us that a large majority within the Senate are convinced that the threat of the Sith is over since the Republic retook the Empress Teta System three years ago. The Jedi have had no success convincing them otherwise. The Republic has lowered their guard, and they are vulnerable. Now is the time to strike!" Ulic said passionately.

"I agree. Which is why I took the liberty of acquiring some assets that will help us do that. Follow me if you're interested," Victor said as he turned and walked away. Ulic's curiosity had been peaked, so he followed Victor to a cave a couple of miles into the forest. And what he saw in front of the cave blew him away. Almost literally, as blaster fire obliterated a tree right beside them.

"Hold your fire, HK, he's with me," Victor called out. Immediately, the firing weapon stopped, revealing a HK-13 assassin droid, recently liberated discreetly alongside almost one hundred others from a Czerka Weapons factory on the moon of Justa in the Mid Rim. They still had no idea the identity of the thief, and weren't about to admit publicly that they had lost droids that just happened to be similar to the one that instigated the Great Droid Revolution over twenty years ago. They had managed to avoid being connected to the HK-01 droid and wanted to keep it that way.

"Any chance you're going to tell me where you got updated models of the droid that started all that trouble on Coruscant?" Ulic asked casually as he gazed upon all the deactivated droids. He intentionally kept the word "revolution" out his sentence. He did not want to give the machine any ideas.

"Nah, giving up my inside source would set a bad business precedent," Victor said with a smirk. Ulic frowned slightly, realizing that the Mage was enjoying keeping information to himself and was rather smug that he had acquired these droids.

"I have to admit, I'm impressed. Why aren't you telling Exar or your father this?" Ulic asked curiously, deciding not to press him about his source. The fact that he was keeping secrets was more surprising anyway. It was unlike Victor to keep something like this from them. He and his father seemed close, after all.

"My father is a great man. He has fought in many wars and survived them all. In order to step out from his shadow, I must do something worthy of acclaim. Telling him or Lord Exar about my droids doesn't accomplish that to my satisfaction. Plus, they've been keeping secrets from me lately, so it's only fair that I do the same. It'll be sweet when I do something that no Sith has dared to do in over a thousand years without them," Victor said.

"What are you planning to do?"Ulic asked him. He could understand the desire to prove himself, and the reason for his desire to spite Exar and Antonin. They both were annoyed by the fact that Exar and Antonin were keeping parts of their plans a secret from them.

"I intend to raid the Republic shipyard on Foerost and take the ships there. I have some allies of convenience that will meet us there and take control of the fleet. They will attack the Jedi Library on Ossus and keep the Jedi's attention from our true target: Coruscant. While everyone is focused on the attacks on Ossus and Foerost, we will go to Coruscant, kill the Chancellor and bring the Republic to its knees by destroying its military in a single blow. It's time we show the Republic and the Jedi the true power of the Sith!" Victor said, grinning evilly.

"These allies, can they be trusted with something like this?" Ulic asked. He loved the plan but was concerned about staging a foolish attack on Ossus. Going after the Jedi without Exar's permission would no doubt anger the Sith Lord.

"They are a simple band of pirates and mercenaries under the command of a greedy and foolish Hutt that I have manipulated into doing this. He hates the Jedi, and I managed to convince him that they were behind the death of his brother. The Hutt and his mercenaries likely won't even survive the attack, and will take the blame for the attacks on both the shipyard and Ossus. And many Jedi will die as a result. A worthy distraction, I think," Victor said with a dark chuckle.

Ulic couldn't help but grin at the diabolical plan. Victor had him hooked. With the power of the Dark Side and these droids at the disposal, the Republic would tremble in fear at the power of the Sith!

Ossus

Odan-Urr felt the attackers and their intentions through the Force as they approached Ossus. The old Jedi Master knew what he needed to do, and he took solace that his last act would save the lives of his fellow Jedi and serve the Order he had spent over a thousand years as a member. While Odan-Urr had expected that he would die among his books after a thousand years of life as his Master had predicted, he also remembered that his Master had said that he would have a chance to remembered as more than just a Jedi Master and a scholar.

Sirius, who had stopped by earlier that day to visit his old friend, felt it too. And he realized what the elderly Jedi Master intended to do, sensing his intentions through the Force. And he didn't like it one bit.

"Odan-Urr, your body may be able to channel that much power for a moment, but the stress of doing what you're thinking about doing will kill you," Sirius warned him.

"It is long past my time. My millennia with my books is up. And now my chance to be remembered as a both a scholar and a hero and save the lives of the innocent in the end has come. Just like Master Ooroo said, remember?" Odan-Urr said with a small smile, remembering his late Master Ooroo's final words.

Sirius remembered them well. The great Jedi Master had sacrificed himself to stop the minions of the Sith, and now his prized apprentice would would do the same over a millennia later. Sirius knew that Odan-Urr had made his decision, and he couldn't help but respect it despite his sorrow at losing one of his oldest friends. He knew that his friend was old, and that it was nearly his time as it was. Odan-Urr was ready to become one with the Force, and Sirius owed it to him to respect his final wish.

The two old friends embraced one last time and said their goodbyes. "May the Force be with you old friend," Sirius said through his tears.

"And also with you," Odan-Urr replied. Sirius then helped his friend to slowly walk towards the steps of the library that he had spent a millennia building and protecting. And then Odan-Urr reached his hands in the sky as Sirius steadied him with both body and the Force, as the ancient Jedi Master reached out into the Force and pushed, using a long-forgotten and extremely powerful version of Force Push to thwart the attack.

Gordo the Hutt smiled viciously as he and his forces approached Ossus and the Jedi Temple there. At last he would have his revenge on those accursed Jedi! Hopefully that bitch who had been disrupting his business and freeing his slaves was down there. He also suspected that the Jedi were behind the death of his favorite brother, Bogga. Unlike the rest of the Hutts, he did not believe that his brother's death was an accident. The sorcerer's words had only solidified that belief. And now the Jedi would pay!

But as he and his men flew closer to the planet, warning lights and alarms started blaring. One of the ships in his fleet was hurtling towards his ship! The last thing Gordo and his men saw was a fiery explosion that sentenced them into oblivion. And as the rest of the ships tried to escape, they inexplicably lost control and crashed, some of them into the sun! There were no survivors.

Odan-Urr smiled as he witnessed the explosions that signified the destruction of the enemies that had sought to hurt the Jedi Order. A multitude of Jedi watched as the Jedi Master vanished, joining the Force after serving the light for over a thousand years. And Sirius held the robes of one of his oldest friends and wept.

On Yavin IV, Exar Kun, Aleema Keto, and Antonin Dolohov felt what had happened, as did the fallen Jedi that had joined them. They had been in the middle of a training session when it had happened.

"Dismissed! Everyone except Aleema, Crado, and Antonin. I need to speak with you," Exar barked at the Dark Jedi, who bowed and left the room. Crado and Antonin approached the Dark Lord of the Sith, hoping Exar could shed light on the situation. They could tell that something had happened on Ossus, but neither was certain of what it was.

"Where exactly did Victor say he and Ulic were going? I think we both know that they were behind this," Exar asked Antonin.

"Agreed. While we would have felt it if Victor was on Ossus, he likely hired someone to attack there. Mercenaries, probably. If I know my son, he more than likely is using the attack as a diversion to mask his real target. I can't believe that he would do something so reckless!" Antonin lamented.

"Where do you think his real target is?" Crado asked. The Dark Jedi from Cathar had come a long way since Exar had left the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, growing in both confidence and skill thanks to the tutelage of both Kun and Dolohov. Although Exar felt that Crado's insight through the Force could use some work, as it was painfully obvious where they were going.

"It's Coruscant. They intend to take the capital world of the Republic," Aleema said.

"Yes, and I believe that this is a good opportunity to accelerate some of my plans. Antonin, take Aleema, Sion, and Jorak to Korriban. It is time for us to fortify the home world of the Sith. Take the tentetareks and the Leviathan larvae with you on your magically expanded ship. Leave the majority of the Sithspawn there and return, but I want Aleema, Jorak, and Sion to take a few Tentetareks and drop them on the Jedi Outposts on Kashyyk and Tython. Aleema, scatter the rest around the Outer Rim. I want the Jedi distracted," Exar told them.

"What about me, Exar?" Crado asked.

"Don't worry, Crado, I have plans for you and the Jedi you brought with you. I think it's time for the Jedi Masters to learn to fear the power of the Sith," Exar said with an evil grin.

Coruscant

Seamus groaned as he sat in his recliner in one of the many penthouses owned by Blaise Zabini on Coruscant. He was seriously regretting letting Katie and Cay convince him to come with them to Coruscant to talk to the Senate. Master Vodo was convinced that his former apprentice Exar Kun had been the one behind the attack on shipyard at Foerost and believed that the Galactic Senate should prepare for what he believed to be the inevitable war on the horizon.

Seamus knew that the Krevakki Jedi Master was right. He had seen Exar Kun on Cinnagar. He had allied himself with that sadistic bastard Antonin Dolohov and his son, as well as Aleema Keto and Ulic Qel-Droma. Thinking of his his friend's fall to the Dark Side still hurt. He had warned Ulic that his plan to infiltrate the Krath was a bad idea. But the stubborn bastard had refused to listen. And neither Nomi or Cay had been the same since. Neither had Seamus, if he was being honest with himself. Although the person who had the most alarming change in temperament since Ulic's defection was Michael Corner.

Michael had never liked Ulic, and Seamus was certain that Ulic didn't like him either. And while their personalities would inevitably clash regardless of circumstance, that was not the main reason for their mutual disdain. No, it was the fact that they were both in love with Nomi Sunrider that was the root of their issues with each other. And the fact that Nomi had chosen Ulic had not helped matters, especially now that Ulic was gone. Michael seemed to be under the deluded impression that he now had a shot with Nomi.

Seamus knew better, and was seriously concerned how Michael would handle the rejection. They did not need him causing a scene in front of the most powerful senators in the Galactic Senate at the event tonight where he planned to make his move. Blaise had suggested a Senate Ball that he was hosting as an opportunity to promote their cause and coax the wealthy elite and Senators with deep pockets to lend aid to the Jedi to track down Exar and Ulic.

Blaise had done very well for himself on Coruscant, building his status and wealth and rubbing elbows with the wealthy and powerful. He and Pavarti had become quite the power couple, building Karma Industries into a company that was considered the trendsetters in fashion, as well as the top information brokers in the Core. Seamus wasn't the only Mage who suspected that Blaise was running more than a few illegal businesses on the side. Harry was definitely suspicious of Blaise at the moment.

But both Blaise and Harry knew that working together was to their benefit. So Harry had ignored the rumors coming out of Coruscant. To be fair, most of them were completely ridiculous. The idea that Blaise had managed to build up a crime syndicate in the Outer Rim under their nose was laughable. Plus, Blaise would never get involved in the slave trade, as Harry would kill him for it. Harry Potter HATED slavery, and for good reason. Seamus figured the Republic would take care of these criminals that called themselves the Exchange sooner or later. In Seamus's opinion, were amateurs trying to flex muscles they didn't have.

Nevertheless, Seamus still wasn't very happy with Blaise right now. He was seriously regretting coming to him for help. Now he was stuck going to this stupid Ball and watching some play Blaise had put together that was going to be shown live on stage. He was pretty sure that it was called Hamlet or something like that. Apparently Blaise's mother had been a huge fan of William Shakespeare. Something about her loving a good tragedy. And he had to play nice with a bunch of pompous prats all night on top of that!

At least he wasn't the only one being subjected to this torment. Michael, Katie, Cay, Nomi, Harry, and Daphne would be there as well. Harry had been strong-armed by his wife Daphne into coming and supporting her old friend. Daphne had also brought her and Harry's eight month old son, Regulus "Reggie" Black, named in honor of Sirius's younger brother. Daphne had been unwilling to leave her child on Endor. Daphne missed the fancy dances and dinner parties that she had enjoyed as a girl, and Harry had agreed to take her and come as her date.

Oss Willum, Shoaneb Culu, Dace, and Qrrrl Toq had been sent back to Ossus by Master Vodo after the attack that had caused the death of Master Odan-Urr the previous day. They would help protect Ossus in case of another attack. Vodo and Sylvar, his apprentice from Cathar, would also not be attending. Sylvar was having a hard time dealing with her mate Crado's defection to the Sith, and Vodo decided to stay back and help her work through that. The Cathar mated for life, and the thought that her chosen mate Crado may never return to her was heartbreaking to her.

"Ready, Seamus?" Harry asked, poking his head into his room. He was dressed in a sharp black suit, and his hair was combed back and lying flat for once.

"Yeah, as ready as I'll ever be I suppose. I see Daphne finally managed to get your hair to lie flat. Never thought I would see the day," Seamus said, grinning at his friend. Daphne had taken personal offense to the fact that his hair couldn't be tamed, and had made it her personal mission to create a potion to tame the wild Potter hair that he had inherited from his father. It appeared that she had finally succeeded.

"Neither did I, but Daphne can be quite scary when she puts her mind to something. I wouldn't be stuck here if she wasn't," Harry said. He loved his wife, but absolutely hated dealing with politicians and their ilk while being dressed up in a penguin suit.

"Yeah, but at least you are guaranteed to be getting some afterwards. I have to do this for free," Seamus grumbled.

"Only if he behaves," a female voice said from the doorway. Daphne Greengrass stood at the doorway, in a strapless baby blue dress that sparkled as she walked. Her blonde hair was flowing past her shoulders. Pavarti had done an excellent job on her dress. Both men were struck momentarily speechless at her beauty. Harry recovered rather quickly, though.

"I am truly the luckiest man on Coruscant to be able to accompany such a beauty to the ball tonight," Harry said smoothly, causing his wife to blush slightly and swat his arm.

"Flatterer. Have you told them yet?" Daphne asked him.

"Told us what?" Blaise asked as he walked into the room, followed closely by Pavarti, Michael, and Katie, who was holding Reggie. In response, Harry put up a few silencing charms around the room to keep their conversation private.

"In seven days, the Wizarding World will be isolating itself from the rest of the Galaxy. I will personally be causing a few asteroid explosions to block of any hyperspace lanes leading to our home on Endor. I really hate turning a blind eye to the rest of the Galaxy, but my duty as King is to my family and the Wizarding World that we are working so hard to rebuild. And we aren't ready for another war, especially so soon after the last one," Harry said sadly.

"What if we decide not to return home?" Blaise asked, asking the first question that was on everyone's lips.

"You are more than welcome to stay where you are. I wouldn't dream of asking you and Pavarti to walk away from the life you have built, and I would still like to at least remain informed about what is going on in the Galaxy. And that goes for the rest of you as well. And if you ever change your mind, there are Portkeys available at the castle on Kashyyk," Harry replied.

"I think that I will stay with the Order for now," Katie said, handing baby Reggie to Daphne.

"As will I," Seamus said, and Michael echoed his decision to stay as well.

"I can understand that. Sirius said the same thing. Remus has decided to stay on Endor. Although that took took some convincing. Hermione managed to convince him, though," Harry said with a smirk. Hermione had threatened to hex him and remove his manhood if he abandoned Teddy again. She was downright scary sometimes.

"So everyone is on board with this plan back home then?" Seamus asked.

"Pretty much. The fact that there is a war brewing has pretty much convinced everyone there that staying put is a good idea. Especially since Luna and Penelope are both backing me. They believe something bigger is coming, and that the Wizarding World will need to be strong when it does. Only Hestia has decided to leave and pursue her suicidal crusade against the Hutts. She's been blocked from the wards as well. I will not allow her to bring the wrath of the Hutts on the rest of us," Harry said severely.

"She's still on about that? She's going to get herself killed," Seamus grumbled. While he disagreed with the idea of slavery, what Hestia was doing was insane. The Hutts would never change their ways, and there would always be a power vacuum to fill in the lawless worlds in the Outer Rim. Not even Harry could change the order of things in such places of chaos.

"Only she can change the path she is on. She's made her choice. Just like Dennis did when he joined the Mandalorians. Apparently Goyle has joined them as well," Harry replied sadly.

"I'm not surprised that Goyle joined them. He's always been a bloodthirsty brute. I was a bit surprised to hear about Dennis though. But I suppose that someone who has been fighting a war their entire life and lost his entire family to it could easily allow it to consume him," Blaise said thoughtfully.

"Harry didn't," Daphne retorted. She had never liked the Creevey brothers, believing them both to be dim-witted fools, even though Colin had died bravely at the battle of Hogwarts. Their hero worship of Harry had always gotten on her nerves.

"Yes, but Potter has always been a better person than the rest of us. I don't think any one of us could have gone through what he did and come out decent people," Blaise argued. While he didn't always agree with Potter, he sure as hell respected both his character and his power. He would've had the Dursleys suffer an "unfortunate accident" years ago if he had to live with those awful people.

"Don't forget how he is a complete badass who saved the Wizarding World many times over and made sure that magic survived the apocalypse. Merlin wishes he could be as awesome as Harry," Seamus said with a grin, causing Harry to redden slightly at the attention.

"His eyes are as fresh as a pickled green toad, his hair as dark as a blackboard," the familiar voice of Fred Weasley said from behind him.

"I wish he was mine, he's really divine," George Weasley continued in a fake dreamy voice from beside his twin with a Cheshire grin on his face.

"The hero who conquered the Dark Lord," Ron Weasley finished with a grunt, reminiscent of the dwarf that had delivered that singing Valentine all those years ago. The room dissolved into hysterical laughter, as the Weasleys had arrived in full force. Fred, George, and Ron had all decided to take a road trip before they settled down on Endor for the foreseeable future. Ginny, Hermione, and Angelina were doing something similar, as they were there as well. They would all be leaving shortly, as they had not been invited to the ball.

"I knew that Valentine would come back to haunt me," Ginny said with a groan. Harry just embraced his wife and whispered something in her ear, causing her to blush fiercely. Her brothers were very grateful they couldn't hear what was said.

"Any word from Mundungus?" Ron said, hoping to move things along so Harry and Ginny wouldn't get caught up with each other.

"Yes, he seemed very content to continue as he has been for the last decade. Dudley has had a stroke of good fortune, and has decided to retire from bounty hunting and has bought a place on Taris in the Outer Rim. And you'll never believe who he's living with," Harry said with a smirk.

"Did he end up with some rich socialite that's out of his league or something?" Ron asked.

"In a way, yes. He's with Pansy Parkinson," Harry said, grinning as he dropped that tidbit of information that caused several jaws to drop and gasps of shock.

"You're taking the piss. There's no way that Pansy would go for your cousin!" Fred said.

"It's true. I was with Harry when they called him. It was rather unexpected, I'll admit," Ginny said.

"Those two will make each other miserable. There's no way that doesn't end badly," Seamus said, shaking his head.

"Sorry to break this up, but we need to get downstairs. Our guests will be arriving shortly," Blaise said. But just as he said that, they heard the sounds of screaming and gunfire. Harry looked out the window and saw a small army of assassin droids making their way to the Republic command center, where Coruscant's planetary defenses and the armed forces control center were located. And leading them were Ulic Qel-Droma and Victor Dolohov!

"Alright. Daphne, take Reggie and Portkey back home. I refuse to put our son in danger. Blaise, Pavarti, get as many civilians to safety as you can without exposing yourselves. The rest of you, with me. We'll Apparate in front of the Command Center. We can't allow them to get control of that building. Let's end this," Harry said firmly, immediately taking charge.

Victor was having the time of his life as he neared the building that would give them the ability to sabotage and destroy the Republic's military. Most of the military forces had headed to the shipyard on Kemplex IX, having fallen for recording they had left that had one of the droids saying that was where they were headed next. The Republic had no idea that he and Ulic were behind it all until now. And they were far too late to make a defense capable of stopping them.

"Ulic, cease this madness!" the familiar voice of Cay Qel-Droma came from behind them, causing his brother to stop in shock. To make matters worse, Nomi Sunrider, Sylvar, and the Jedi Master Vodo Siosk-Baas stood beside him. They were all fighting the droids that stood between them and the Sith.

"Cay, Nomi, what are you doing here? You aren't supposed to be here," Ulic said in surprise.

"And neither are you," a voice from behind Ulic and Victor said. They were far too late to recover from the surprise to dodge the beams of red light from the wands of Harry and Seamus, and they fell into unconsciousness. The sixty or so droids that were still standing after the initial skirmish with the Jedi and the Coruscant military didn't stand a chance against the four Jedi and the dozen Jedi Mages without their Sith masters. They put up a valiant effort, but in the end were completely dismantled without much difficulty.

"Thank you Jedi for stopping this invasion. You have the deepest gratitude of the Senate," the squid-like Supreme Chancellor Siddons said as he approached them. Harry had no desire to deal with the politics that were about to happen, so he did what any wise leader would do in this situation. He delegated.

"Your welcome, Chancellor. I'm glad that I was nearby and able to help. I'm afraid that I have important matters to attend, but I leave you in the very capable hands of Master Vodo. Good luck," Harry said. Suddenly the Chancellor found himself turning to Vodo momentarily, and when he looked back, Harry and the majority of his fellow Mages had disappeared, having taken a Portkey back to Blaise's where they said their goodbyes and returned to Endor. They had experienced enough excitement and decided that they wanted to return home for the foreseeable future.

"Strange, these Mages are. I'm certainly glad they are on our side. I'll be taking these men as prisoners of the Republic. They must stand trial and pay for the crimes that they have committed. It is clear that they were behind the attacks on the shipyards on Foerost and on Ossus itself. They will be made to answer for them," Chancellor Sidrona said. And since it was the laws of the Republic that Sidrona was following, the Jedi could only watch as Ulic and Victor were stripped of their weapons and bound, and both Ulic and Victor were imprisoned in a wall of light, temporarily cutting them off from the Force until the trial.

Three days later, Dantooine

Vodo Siosk-Baas stood outside his home on Dantooine as he watched the stars. The last few days had been a tragic one for the Jedi Order. Twelve Jedi Knights who had fallen to the Dark Side had attacked their own Jedi Masters in an attempt to kill them. And seven of them had succeeded, one at the cost of her own life. Five fallen Knights were dead, and seven esteemed Jedi Masters such as Dominus and Shayoto were dead. And Vodo knew that it was not the captured Ulic Qel-Droma or his companion that were behind it.

It was his own apprentice, Exar Kun. He had failed to stop his apprentice from falling. "As a Jedi Master, I failed him. Now I must face the consequences. I must make things right and go to Coruscant. This is my battle," Vodo said to himself. He felt the Force flow through him as he boarded his ship and headed to Coruscant for the trials of Ulic Qel-Droma and Victor Dolohov.

Later that day, Coruscant

Cay and Nomi raced towards the Senate building to attend the inquisition that was about to begin in hope that they could convince the Senate to spare Ulic's life. "They're gonna tear Ulic to shreds," Cay said in slight despair as they raced towards the Senate building. It was fortunate that Seamus had managed to save them all seats, as the building was packed for the hearing.

"Can you blame them? After what he did. Ulic went on a rampage. He had to be stopped, Cay, no matter how we feel," Nomi said as they finally arrived inside the Senate building and took their places in between Sylvar and Seamus.

"But he's my brother! I can't just let him die!" Cay said, distraught at the circumstances that Ulic had brought about.

"We did our best. He's brought this on himself," Sylvar said sadly. She felt the pain and sorrow that Cay, Nomi, and Seamus were feeling through the Force. She noticed that Katie was saddened, but she had accepted what was about to happen. She felt some disgust upon feeling the smug satisfaction that Michael was trying to hide. She had never fully trusted the dark-haired Mage, and her mistrust and dislike only deepened upon realizing that he was silently rejoicing at the impending death of the Jedi he saw as a rival. The scowl Katie shot Michael showed that she had felt it as well, and caused Michael to bury his feelings.

"A Jedi just doesn't give up Sylvar!" Cay retorted. Sylvar let his reply go, as she knew full well how it felt to be betrayed by a loved one who had fallen to the Dark Side.

"I fear Ulic is no longer the man I knew," Nomi said sadly, tears beginning to fall down her face. She couldn't bring herself to say "and loved". It was too painful for her.

Just then, Ulic was brought into the Senate Hall. His trial would be first, followed by Dolohov's shortly afterwards. He was imprisoned in the same field that Vodo and the Mages had bound him in to make sure that he couldn't use the Force to escape. Chancellor Sidrona then stood and began the trial.

"Ulic Qel-Droma, you are a threat to the peace and security of the Galactic Republic. Your list of crimes is long- the destruction of shipyards, looting of Republic property, the enslavement of mercenaries, and the possession of a droid army. And even worse, you have betrayed your training as a Jedi Knight and your vow to protect the Republic! How do you plead?" Chancellor Sidrona asked as he stared at Ulic.

"I don't plead with fools. You are puppets of tradition pretending to be important. The coming Golden Age has no place for you. Your Republic is an empty, self-indulgent diversion, signifying nothing. The lost glory of the Sith will turn all of your so-called accomplishments into dust!" Ulic said, sneering at the Senate in defiance and disdain.

"Ulic, what are you saying? Let me speak!" Cay said, leaping down from his seat to address the Senate in defense of his brother.

"Cay, stop this. I don't need your help!" Ulic snapped at his brother in irritation. Cay ignored his brother and turned to plea to the Senate.

"Senators, I beg you, don't listen to him. He is greatly disturbed by the death of Master Arca. He intended to infiltrate the Krath, but they have warped his mind somehow. He has done so much good for the Republic, please remember that," Cay pleaded.

"Cay, enough. You don't understand what's going on here. But you will soon enough," Ulic told his brother. And as soon as he said that, the doors of the Senate hall flew open, allowing a man and a dozen or so red-skinned companions to enter. Two more men popped out of thin air beside him, lightsabers ignited.

"Excuse me, might I join this discussion? I've got something I'm sure you'll find interesting," Exar Kun said with an arrogant smirk. Both Dolohovs smirked at Exar's words, although Antonin Dolohov wanted to roll his eyes as well. He couldn't help but wonder what it was about Dark Lords and always needing to make an entrance. Voldemort and Freedon Nadd were very much the same way.

"It's about time, Exar Kun," Ulic said as he was released from his bonds. Exar's Sith spell had worked silently and perfectly, using the Force to freeze everyone in the chamber in fear, leaving them unable to move and forcing them to do nothing but watch. The Jedi managed to throw off the spell after a moment, and ignited their lightsabers and leaping into combat against the Massassi, who prevented them from stopping Exar Kun from murdering the Supreme Chancellor where he stood.

"Where is my mate Crado? He always idolized you, Exar Kun. What have you done with him?" Sylvar growled at Exar as she slaughtered one of the Massassi.

"Right behind you, Sylvar. Crado, your mate once scarred my face. Kill her," Exar said with a smirk. Sylvar barely managed to react to the warning she got from the Force, blocking the death blow from Crado's lightsaber. She stared at her mate in shock before letting out of primal yell of anger and betrayal and slashed his face with her claws, much like she had done to Exar while training on Dantooine as Padawans. The shock of the action caused Crado to run away as one of the Massassi attacked Sylvar.

Nearby, Ulic was fighting an enraged Michael. Michael had managed to use his wand to disarm Ulic of his lightsaber, giving Michael the chance to bring his lightsaber down to land the killing blow. But a blast of Sith Lightning from Ulic struck Michael in the face, throwing him aside and knocking him unconscious.

"Enough!" a powerful voice rang out, causing the battle to temporarily stop. Katie was unconscious and leaned up against the wall, bleeding badly as Nomi sat beside her trying to stop the bleeding. Victor Dolohov had hit her with his father's trademark curse before retreating with Ulic, who had been wounded in his fight against Michael, on Exar's orders. Seamus had been dueling Antonin and was bleeding heavily. He had also lost two fingers on his left hand to a dark cutting curse. He would have been overwhelmed if Vodo hadn't arrived when he did. Michael was still wounded and unconscious, his face badly scarred. Sylvar and Cay had been been fighting the last four Massassi, and both were sporting various cuts and bruises.

"Master Vodo!" Sylvar cried out at the sight of her Jedi Master.

"Sylvar, I must do this myself. Exar Kun must be stopped," Master Vodo said firmly.

"Yes, I believe Master Vodo and I have some private business," Exar said smugly.

"Exar Kun, I must speak with you!" Master Vodo told his former apprentice.

"Don't tell me that you have decided to join our Sith cause, Master Vodo. Go right ahead, Master. We seem to have a captive audience," Exar said with a smirk, gesturing to the frozen Senators and getting laughter from the four Massassi. Victor had thought it would be fun to give them a sense of humor. Exar found their laughter annoying.

"You have been busy, Exar Kun. Building, planning, destroying," Vodo said, sounding very much like the disappointed teacher he was. Exar either missed or ignored the negative connotations, though.

"You should see all I have accomplished. It's magnificent! Better than anything in the Holocron! I could use you, Master Vodo. You could be a great ally to our Sith brotherhood," Exar boasted, trying to tempt his old Master to the Dark Side.

A sharp cracking sound nearby signaled the return of Seamus. He had managed to whisk Katie and Michael away to safety while Vodo and Exar were talking, allowing them to get the medical attention that would allow them to survive their wounds. He had also received a bit of treatment before he returned. Thank goodness Blaise lived nearby and had the necessary healing potions in stock. Seamus also contacted Sirius on Ossus in hopes that he could provide backup alongside the Order. Hopefully they would get there before it was too late.

"You know I must say no," Vodo told Exar.

"A pity. You fought me once, Master Vodo, and bested me. Why don't we have a rematch? Only this time, we'll raise the stakes. If you beat me, I will return with you and undergo whatever training you wish to give. But if I win, you agree to join the Sith Brotherhood and work by my side," Exar challenged, igniting his lightsaber.

"You know I could never bow to the evil Sith ways," Vodo said, preparing to defend himself with his Forcestaff.

"Whatever. We can work out the details later," Exar said, and lashed out at Master Vodo with his lightsaber, which Master Vodo blocked.

"I beseech you to reconsider your actions and return with me. Stop this game of bullying the Galaxy- it's beneath you and beneath contempt. It offends the Jedi way," Vodo pleaded as they fought.

"And what could you possibly offer me, Master Vodo? I've already heard your teachings- and found the wanting. I have built hundreds of temples, unearthed an ancient ship, while studying ancient teachings that you and the other Jedi Masters are afraid to know while building an army whose Captain is a Sith Mage who has more power and knowledge than you could possibly imagine!" Exar said arrogantly before stepping back momentarily and igniting a second blade from the bottom of his lightsaber.

"Time to make things more interesting. Do you like the modifications that I made to my lightsaber, Master?" Exar said, smirking arrogantly before resuming his attack. Vodo quickly found himself overwhelmed by the flurry of quick attacks from the double-bladed lightsaber of Exar Kun. He realized that he was going to lose his life at the hands of his former apprentice. But he felt the Force assuring him that this was not the end.

"This is not the end, Exar Kun. You and I will fight again-perhaps not for a long time. But I will defeat you," Vodo said as he strained against the power of Exar Kun.

"Words. Go on to your higher plane, teacher. The Galaxy is mine now," Exar said as he brought down his lightsaber on Vodo's staff, breaking it into two and ending the life of the Krevaaki Jedi Master.

"Kun, you murderer," Sylvar yelled, as she and Seamus started to attack him. Both were thrown backwards by Kun's Force push.

"We are done here. We've made our point. The Senate has seen our power, and realize that we will no longer serve them. The Galaxy belongs to the Brotherhood of the Sith," Exar said to Antonin Dolohov as they left the Senate Hall, leaving chaos and death behind them.

AN- Exar Kun is an evil bastard, isn't he? The Mandalorians made an appearance, where Dennis joins them after the death of Mandalore. Without the Mandaloriansand the armies of the Empress Teta System, Exar and Ulic take longer than they originally did to attack, but the result is much the same. The Mandalorians retreat after defeat at Kuar, but they will return stronger than ever before in the future.

Odan-Urr and Vodo both pass, as does Shayoto and Dominus, all members of the Jedi Council. Along with the death of Arca Jeth and two other members at Deneba, and another at the hands of his fallen apprentice, will cause a massive change in the ranks of the Council. Only Sirius, Croaker, Thon, and Ood Bnar remain.

Harry and the Wizarding World need to rebuild their numbers. Completely jumping into a war that is not their fight would be foolish at this point especially with everything that is coming. I've got plans that require a strong Wizarding World. So I decided to do this. Harry and his fellow survivors from Earth who chose to stay on Endor will be staying in the background for a while. I hope you enjoyed the update.

Update: the next chapter is almost complete and will be released no later than the 1st of February. The Adventures of Krios Black should be right behind it. Sorry for the wait!
