A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.

1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.

2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).

3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.

4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 30: Blackbird-The Wall Part 2

Ally Clayton found herself alone, aimlessly walking through a fog-ridded desolate Morioh. She didn't remember how she had gotten here or where everyone was. She didn't even know where she was walking to. She stopped when she heard footsteps slowly dragging in the mist. As she looked around, she knew where she was. This was the place where she had shot and killed Cliff and Miller against June's wishes.

"Vertigo!" Ally called for her Stand, but it didn't appear. As the footsteps grew louder and closer, Ally's heartbeat quickened as she looked around, trying to see where the footsteps were coming from. Eventually, Ally could see two shapes emerge from the mist. She gasped in shock and disgust as she recognized the two.

"M-miller…? Cliff…?"

She stumbled back, trying to get away from the two. Their skin was pale, and their eyes were bloodshot. Their clothing was ragged and their hair was a mess, almost as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. But the thing that scared Ally the most was the bullet-sized hole that went all the way through their heads. Blood and brain chunks oozed out of the holes as the two stumbled towards Ally.

Miller spoke, her voice hoarse and devoid of any emotion, "Why did you kill us?"

"We were already defeated," Cliff said in a voice similar to Millers', "We were defenseless. Yet you killed us. You didn't even give us a chance. You didn't even let us talk things through."

Ally backed up to the wall of a nearby building. She had nowhere to go. Miller and Cliff kept approaching her.

"You didn't even give us a choice," Miller said, "You didn't even let us surrender."

"You had a gun with you!" Ally said defensively, "You had already shot June! I didn't have a choice!"

"Excuses," Cliff said.

"We won't give you a chance to surrender," Miller said, "We'll mercilessly kill you as you killed us."

The two reached Ally, and their hands began tearing into her flesh. Ally yelled out until she eventually lost her voice along with her consciousness.

...

Ally sat up from her bed, sweating profusely and breathing heavily. It took her a few seconds to realize she had been dreaming. She noticed Tenmei in the corner of the room.

"Sorry," he said, "Did I wake you?" he was changing into his green uniform as he sipped a cup of coffee, "I forgot to tell you that there was a Speedwagon Foundation meeting early today. I was gonna call you a bit later. I'll be back by lunchtime, you should go back to sleep."

"What time is it?" Ally asked.

"Quarter after six," Tenmei finished his coffee before throwing the cup away and grabbing his jacket as he went up to the hotel room door, "I love you," he smiled at her, "Goodbye, Ally."

"Bye, Tenmei."

Tenmei left the room, leaving Ally by herself. She was already too awake from the nightmare to go back to sleep. She had had the same nightmare almost every night after Dianne's assault on Morioh. She had been getting less and less sleep every night from it. She decided that she wanted to stay up, so she got out of bed and made herself some coffee.

Half an hour later, Ally was outside. She jogged to where she had killed Cliff and Miller. Three weeks ago she had fought the two and shot them in the head. Ever since then, she had felt a weight on her chest almost as if the souls of those she killed were clinging on to her.

"I'm sorry," she muttered, "I didn't want to kill you but I had to. But please let your souls move on. Please stop tormenting me. You'll have plenty of time to do that in the afterlife. Let me just enjoy the remainder of my life before you can get your revenge."

Ally sighed as she sat down next to a building. This had been the same building she had been backed into in her dream. Just being there sparked painful memories of her nightmares. Regardless, she thought that it was the least she could do. If she visited more often, maybe the spirits of Cliff and Miller would forgive her.

As Ally lamented, she noticed a man approaching her. She didn't think anything of it. It wasn't too unusual for someone to be out this early. He did raise her suspicion when he stopped and looked at her.

Ally raised her head to look at the man, and he looked at her in surprise.

"Pardon me," he said, "I mistook you for someone else."

Ally didn't say a word as he walked away. A few seconds later, she noticed that the man was looking at her from afar, and there was another next to him, holding a polaroid aimed at her.

"What the hell?" she said as she stared at the two men. "Hey, are you trying to take a picture of me? What kind of perverted assholes are you?"

"Sorry about that, Ally Clayton," the man holding the camera said, "I'm not ready to take your picture just yet. My name is David Gil Moure, by the way, I am the leader of The Wall."

Ally nearly fell over from shock. This was all so sudden. She quickly called out her Stand, "Vertigo!"

A black feather shot through the air and the tip stabbed through Vertigo's arm. The wound was the size of a needle and was very shallow. Ally only lost a couple of drops of blood. She paid no attention to the feather, "Vertigo, go on the opposite side of him!"

The Stand didn't respond. Ally looked at her unmoving Stand. It instead went to the opposite side of its user. Ally immediately changed her positioning so that she was facing her Stand.

"The hell?" she muttered. After a few seconds, the feather fell off, and she was in complete control of her Stand again. Ally turned back to where David was, but he was gone instead, leaving the man who had said that he had mistaken her for someone else alone.

"You!" Ally yelled, "What did you do to my Stand? You're working with The Wall, aren't you?"

"My name's Beedul," the man said, "I didn't think one of our targets would be out and about this early. That's why I stopped when I first saw you. Our plan will be put into motion a tad bit earlier than anticipated."
"I knew it would only be a matter of time until The Wall arrived," Ally said, only taking her eyes off of Beedul so she could look at the feather that had stabbed her Stand. It was long and black, similar to a raven's. The most interesting thing about it was a hieroglyph engraved in the feather's design. It depicted two arms connected where the shoulder would be, the elbows bent up almost as if the hands were reaching for something.

"I see you've taken interest in my feather," Beedul said, "That hieroglyph is called 'Ka', it represents the life force."

"Is that your Stand ability?" Ally asked, "You can control people's life force, their souls? In other words, their Stands?"

"Not quite," Beedul said, "You need to think on a much larger scale. Did you know that the Egyptians used to believe that a human's soul was made up of five elements? The heart, represented by the symbol, 'Ib', the shadow, represented by the symbol, 'Sheut', the name, represented by the symbol, 'Ren', the personality and soul, represented by the symbol, 'Ba', and the life force, represented by the symbol, 'Ka'."

"That's really interesting," Ally said sarcastically, "I envy the amount of free time you have to study all that. And may I ask why my enemy is giving me a history lesson?"

"This is more than a lesson," Beedul said with a laugh, "This is an education. Now listen carefully!"

Ally's eyes turned to something slowly appearing next to Beedul. As it materialized, Ally took note of its features. It took the form of a human-sized crow with human fingers at the end of its wings. It wore Egyptian robes and headgear, the same type you might see in movies or cartoons. It held a scepter in its left hand and an ankh, the Egyptian symbol for life, in its right. The feathers that popped out of its robes were coated with hundreds of the same five hieroglyphs. The bird's black eyes blinked rapidly as it looked at Ally and cawed out.

"The Egyptian god, Ra, was depicted as a man with a falcon for a head," Beedul said, "Seems kind of familiar to my Stand, doesn't it? Ra was the god of the sun, order, kins, and the sky. My Stand is above that, I've named it, Blackbird."

"Pretty on the nose, don't you think?"

"I had originally thought of naming it 'Ra' after I found out that Dio used to have a group of Egyptian God Stand users. But I decided to deviate from that man's ideals and give it a name of my own."

One of Blackbird's feathers shot out and pierced Vertigo. Ally looked at the hieroglyph. It looked like a vase or pot was engraved into the feather.

"This one's different from the other one, what does this one do?"

"Come closer and find out,"

"Like hell I'm coming closer to you!" As soon as Ally finished her sentence, she began to walk toward Beedul, "Wh-what?!" she said, "Why am I getting closer?!" She looked at the hieroglyph, "Is it this that's controlling me?"

"You're not paying attention," Beedul said as Ally walked closer, "I said before that the symbol that represents the heart is called, 'Ib'. I can control your heart, Ally. Your heart wants to come to me, so your body obeys."

What is this ability? Ally thought He can control both my body and my Stand? He must be controlling me with those feathers. Damn, how do I get out of this?! Tenmei told me that in a Stand battle it's always important to keep your cool and make use of all the information you already have. I know that his Stand is long-range, so it probably has little to no offensive capabilities. But then again neither does mine so I can't use that to my advantage. I know that the effects of his Stand's ability only activate once either me or my Stand has been impaled with a feather. Those symbols on the feathers must have something to do with the ability. Earlier when the feather had those two arms, he could control my Stand. And now the symbol with that vase can control my body. Damn, what else? That feather fell off my Stand after about ten seconds. Is that its limit? If so then after two or three seconds, I should be free to move my body, right?

Just as Ally predicted, the feather fell off after three more seconds, and she stopped walking toward Beedul. She was already less than two meters away from him. As soon as she tried to run back, Blackbird swung its arm at her, sending a feather flying. Ally wasn't able to dodge the feather as it stabbed her cheek. Ally barely managed to see the hieroglyph from the corner of her eye. It was a bird with a human for a head, the complete opposite of Ra. Ally felt deep down like she needed to remove the feather, run away from Beedul, and try to put him under Vertigo's spell, but something compelled her not to.

"It's not like I'm in danger," Ally said, "I'm just freaking out too much."

"Good," Beedul said, "Why don't you come a bit closer? It's your choice really. It's not like I'm a dangerous person."

"Yeah, you're right," Ally said, "You're not a dangerous person." She walked close enough that if she stretched out her hand, she'd touch him. Suddenly, the feather fell off her cheek and she felt dread swell up in her.

"Wait, what am I doing?!" she yelled in surprise. Blackbird threw another feather but seemed to miss as it landed on Ally's shadow.

"You did something to me with that feather on my cheek!" Ally said, instantly backing up, "You took away my ability to feel in danger. You did something like that!"

"The personality and soul," Beedul said, "I can change it. I can control your emotions as well. Don't you understand? I am in control of all the aspects that make up a person."

Ally rushed over to the right side of Beedul, now facing the opposite side of him, she activated her Vertigo.

Beedul's vision blurred before he suddenly found himself in a dark room. There were no doors or windows. He walked up to the walls and touched them, they were solid. There didn't seem to be a way out.

In reality, Beedul was still where he was before. Vertigo was tricking all five of his senses into thinking that he was stuck in a concrete box.

If I get five meters away from him, the illusion will go away. I need to call June while I can.

Ally took out her phone and called June. She was surprised to get an answer.

"Ally? Why are you calling me at 6:50? My phone woke me up."

"The Wall is here,"

"What?"

"They're here. I'm already under a Stand attack."

"Oh my god, where?"

"You remember where we fought Cliff and Miller?"

"Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I can,"

Ally hung up the phone and observed Beedul. He was calmly brushing his hands into what he thought was a concrete wall, but to the naked eye was just air.

I should call Tenmei as well.

Ally called her boyfriend, but he didn't pick up.

Damn, he must've turned off his phone for his meeting. He said he'd be done before lunchtime! I can't wait that long! I'll just have to stay here until June comes, then we'll figure out something to do.

As Ally kept observing Beedul, she noticed that Blackbird had disappeared. She supposed that Beedul had deactivated his Stand once he realized that he was under Vertigo's spell. She looked around for the feathers that had been used to control her Stand, body, and personality, but they had disappeared. Perhaps after being detached from the Stand for too long, the feathers disappeared.

"Ally Clayton," Beedul finally said, "I know you can hear me. I can't hear or see you. But I know that you're within five meters of me or else this illusion would wear off. I want to ask you something. Why haven't you killed me? There are reasons why I haven't killed you yet, but you have no reason not to let me live. Not that you could if you wanted to, but you haven't even tried. You haven't done anything to me. Why is that?"

Ally didn't respond. Even if she did, Beedul wouldn't be able to hear her anyway. She knew why she hadn't killed Beedul yet. She couldn't find it in her heart to kill another person. Her guilt from killing Cliff and Miller was tearing her apart. Who knows what a third body would do to her? She felt as if the ghosts of Cliff and Miller were haunting her every day, trying to punish her for killing them. She knew she couldn't kill anyone else. So she waited patiently until she heard footsteps. She turned around to see June.

"Thank goodness you're here, June!"

"Is that the guy?" June pointed at Beedul, who had barely moved since talking to Ally.

"Yeah, that's him,"

"He looks uninjured. Is his Stand preventing you from attacking him?"

"No… At least I don't think so,"

"Then why haven't you finished him off as you did with Cliff and Miller?"

"I…" Ally hesitated, "I don't think we should kill him. Imagine all the information we could get from him."

"Do you really think he's going to talk?"

"I- uh… he might,"

"Well, what do we do with him now?"

"I don't know, I can't go away or else he'll be free. That's why I called you, I thought you might be able to help."

"I see." June said as Elastic Band appeared next to her, "Have you tried—"

June was cut off by the white flash of a polaroid. She quickly turned to see David Gil Moure, holding the camera.

"Who's he?" She asked.

"He's another member of The Wall!"

"Elastic Band!" The Stand quickly stretched its arms around David's neck, making it hard for him to breathe, but not fully strangling him either. The Stand lifted him in the air.

"Who are you?!" June yelled, "What's The Wall's plan? Your Stand. What's its ability? Tell us the abilities of the others as well while you're at it."

David coughed, "You're wasting no time, are you?"

"Answer the damn question!" Ally yelled.

David chuckled, "I haven't set up the family album yet. I've only got a picture of you two. It's too early to initiate, could you please let me go?"

Elastic Band gently laid David down before letting him go and returning to June.

"What the hell was that?!" Ally yelled, "Why did you just let him go?!"

"I don't know!" June yelled, "My Stand moved on its own, almost as if it was being controlled!"

Ally gasped, "Your arm!"

June looked at her arm and found a black feather with the symbol of two arms engraved on it.

"That symbol!" Ally said, "It's the one that allows him to control your Stand! But how?"

Ally looked over at Beedul, who was smiling.

"He's still under the illusion!" Ally said, "I'm sure of it. No, I'm positive! There's no way he could've seen where you are. On top of that, he didn't even activate his Stand! I didn't see Blackbird next to him. How did he activate his ability? His Stand has to physically shoot out its feathers!"

"I'd love to chit-chat a bit more, ladies," David said, "But I can't activate my Stand just yet, I haven't yet met the requirements. Plus, I've already gotten what I've come here for. So I hope you don't mind if I take Beedul with me." David casually walked over to Beedul and grabbed his arm. He pulled him far enough away that he was out of Vertigo's range. The two ran behind a building and were soon gone.

June and Ally watched happily as the two got away.

"I'm glad the two got away," June said cheerfully.

"Yeah," Ally responded in a similar tone, "I was really rooting for those two."

After a few seconds, two feathers with a hieroglyph of a bird with a human's head soon fell off their arms and they regained their senses.

"What the hell did we just do?" June said, "Why did we let them get away?!"

Ally observed the feather, "Goddammit he used these feathers to control our emotions or our personality or something! When did those get on us? I don't remember seeing Blackbird shooting those at us."

"We need to tell the others," June said, "Did you already tell Tenmei that The Wall has made their move?"

"I tried calling him earlier after I called you, but he didn't respond,"

"You should try calling him again,"

Ally nodded as she got her phone out of her pocket, and called Tenmei's number. He didn't pick up.

"Let me try calling Jotaro," June said, "He should be at the same meeting."

"Yes, Portobello should be there too," Ally said, "I'll call him as well."

The two dialed Portobello and Jotaro's numbers, but they weren't picked up.

"This is really weird," June said, "None of them picked up?"

"What if The Wall is already attacking them? There are six of them, right? We've only seen two. What's not to say that the other four are attacking Jotaro, Portobello, and Tenmei?"

"Damn this is scary. The enemy is attacking from different points. They've been planning this out, haven't they?"

June nodded, "There's one thing I don't understand."

"What?"

"That guy with the camera. He said that he couldn't activate his Stand yet. What did he mean by that?"

"There's gotta be some requirement. Like my Vertigo needing me to be opposite of my target."

"Even so, how come he just took pictures of us?"

"Maybe so he could show them to the others?"

"No, that would make sense if he was fighting someone like Portobello, who they don't know. But they should know what we look like, right? At the very least, Dianne could've replicated our appearances using my Elastic Band. There's no reason for them to not know what we look like."

"Then were the pictures needed to trigger his Stand?"

"If that's the case, then why did he say that he couldn't activate his Stand yet?"

Ally yelled in frustration, "Why is everything so confusing?! I can't wait until this is all over. Once The Wall and Dianne are defeated, I'm taking a vacation."

"If."

"When, June. There's no 'if' about it. We will defeat them."

"Maybe if we can separate them and pick them off one by one we might stand a chance. But if they're combining forces, then there's nothing we can do. If there really are four enemy Stand users attacking Jotaro, Portobello, and Tenmei, then our best hope is to escape, not fight back. We're going to need to get them out of there. Speaking of which, do you know where they are?"

"In one of the Speedwagon Foundation facilities here in Morioh."

"But do you know which one?"

"I think so. Tenmei told me once. It's that one where we fought Dianne a few weeks ago. You know, when she tried to kill Josuke? We all fought her outside of this building. Joanne, Kenna, and Tenmei later told us what happened as well. That's where they are."

"Okay then, let's go. Once we're in there, we'll get Portobello, Jotaro, and Tenmei to safety, then we can decide on what to do next."

Ally nodded in agreement as she ran towards the SPW facility, June following close behind. What the two didn't notice was Ally's shadow moving slightly. A small feather with the hieroglyph of a man's silhouette engraved on it rested and followed her shadow. It had been in her shadow ever since she had approached Beedul, and one of his shots had 'missed'. It had in fact hit the target that Beedul had wanted, and shifted his Stand into the shadow it pierced. Now Blackbird watched eagerly as June and Ally continued to run towards more of its targets.

A/N: That's chapter 30! We got the second part of The Wall arc and got introduced to our second member, Beedul. He is named after The Beatles, and his Stand, along with this chapter, is named after their song, Blackbird. This chapter also shows off how Ally is dealing with the guilt of having killed Cliff and Miller. I'm a really big fan of Blackbird's design and ability. Originally, it had the ability to squeeze into any shadows, and the feathers it shot were sharp blades. But I eventually added the Egyptian aesthetic as well as the hieroglyphs on its feathers, and I think this makes its ability way more unique. We also got a little bit more information regarding David's Stand. His ability will be the center focus of this arc, so I hope it doesn't disappoint. That's enough rambling, hope you enjoyed the chapter, and see you all next time for Episode 31: Def Leppard-The Wall Part 3.
